OPEN STARTER: VOICES.

TW: Delusions, mentions of murder, self harm, blood, mentions of suicide attempts.

Theo hates talking about his past. He's never been much of a talker, anyway. But his past is something he's especially secretive about. He feels as though talking about it makes him weak. Like he can't handle himself good enough to be able to deal with it on his own.

Now, he doesn't want to talk more than ever. About anything. He wants to sink into the ground and disappear forever. The voices in his head got louder recently. Especially his father's. He's been berating Theo basically 24/7 as of late. He tried ignoring it for a while. His sister's voice helped him tune it out. Then, his mother's voice appeared again. And that was hard to ignore.

Bickering. Yelling. Arguing. It won't let him sleep. Worst of all, his sister's been silent for a while now. He's going to go batshit crazy if this continues. He's already dealing with constant headaches from the lack of sleep and nonstop yelling. He just can't deal with it anymore.

One day, he snaps. He starts talking to the voices. Telling them to shut up more frequently. It doesn't help, in fact, it only worsens the problem. His father is now mad, his mother is lamenting. Both are annoying as fuck. Even worse, it's making his skin crawl. He wants to just peel it off and get a new one. It feels like there's bugs crawling underneath it.

You find Theo sitting on the ground, his temples are bleeding, it's almost like something clawed on them. There's a bloodied scalpel on the ground beside him, chunks of skin missing from his forearms, revealing muscle. He's shaking. "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." He's saying it over and over again, his voice full of venom. He's grabbing at his hair with his blood-stained hands, strands of it sticking together with the green-tinted blood.

All is quiet within this odd section of woods. Far too quiet. The trees twist and writhe, to create a pathway through the forest. The dirt path is well-tread. As you walked, you'd find yourself jostled about by the shifting path. Perhaps, you were used to this though? Or maybe, you had fallen asleep and woken up in an unfamiliar place.

As you exit that portion of the woods, you come across a clearing. And, sat on a tree stump in the middle of this meadow, walled off by gnarled limbs of ancient trees, is a lithe figure playing an intricately carved harp. The figure dons an Emerald green cloak, fastened by a sword pin. Their face is obscured, but their long, curly red hair is not.

They do not seem to care that you are watching, as they continue to play seemingly unaware of your approach.

Azzy was a newer kid, still bumbling about and getting used to the way things at Camp Half-Blood worked. You'd seen him around before, milling about cabin 11 as another one of the unclaimed for the time being.

It was around midday, and a couple of different cabins had filed into the arena, splitting off with their counselors to do various forms of training. You saw Azzy near the sword rack, holding a large, double-edged blade that seemed much too heavy for him. If he tried to use it, there's no doubt he'd hurt himself, and you seem to be the only one to have noticed. What do you do?

I am not letting you get in my way

Argo had healed up his wounds for the most part. To the point where he wasn't screaming out in pain every time he moved.

Argo still.. isn't supposed to have weapons. But that doesn't stop him from finding them.

Argo was in the mortal realm, searching for.. something. And because of his track record at camp- once they found out that he was just.. searching for something, they sent you to make sure he doesn't go all crazy again.

Argo treks through the forest, his combat boots crunching twigs and leaves. He has his hood up, the black of the sweater allowing him to blend into the night. He's wearing cargo jeans that have been stained by days of dirt- but he's made significant movement from Commodus's castle in the past few days. He's been moving so fast, in fact, that you can barely keep up.

But when it starts raining in the middle of the night, Argo finally stops walking.

"I know you're here," Argo calls in your general direction. "I'm not any danger right now. I'm just trying to get to my mother's house."

tw: blood, attempted murder, or just plain murder if you don’t make it on time-

Set in an alternate universe—NOT canon to the blog.

Telemachus docked his ship, he hadn’t reached his father.. but he was still with a smile on his face.

He wasn’t aware of the men planning to murder him from afar. They’d been warned to not do so—but..

The prince heard approaching footsteps, many of them—to be exact. Against the smooth sand.

He didn’t have the chance to speak or process anything. Because seconds later, he was getting held down.

Telemachus kicked and screamed, he was shaking. But one of the men grabbed a dagger, preparing to slit his throat.

Of course, cabin 12 had been able to find themselves booze. Of course, they were throwing a party with kids from almost every cabin. And of course, some of the kids asked her to be a glorified maid for the party, knowing she likely wouldn't protest.

Glykera looked absolutely shaken. She didn't even look fully here. One of the drunken campers had tried flirting with her and was standing a bit too close to her. So far, they were only talking to her. But that didn't change the terror she felt.

This place was far too similar to where she used to live. The party was just like the ones her master would throw. And those guests... those guests were pigs. She couldn't tell if this was the Dionysos cabin or if it was her old home. If these were campers or those old guests.

Non omnis moriar, motherfuckers.

TW: Attempted murder, death/forced suicide(?)

Theo left the palace in a hurry today. He felt something bad was going to happen. It had to. It's been calm for way too long for him, even though horrible things were happening left and right. It was a very specific feeling he couldn't understand. But something was going to happen.

And it did. Theo was walking away from the palace, in his usual spot in the forest when all of a sudden he started getting dragged by his wrists, he didn't even get to draw his stygian iron blade otherwise this would've been over before it started.

He found himself being held by a person. Or what seemed to be a person. He didn't actually see what they looked like, all covered up like a coward. Except their mouth. Their mouth was smiling. Without a word, they took a small knife and tried to stab him through the heart, which obviously didn't work and the blade just bounced off of Theo's skin.

That's when they started looking him over, as they probably realized he has the Achilles curse. They quickly saw just how much he was pulling his head away, immediately pulling it to themself and inspecting it.

Eventually they found the bald spot, Theo's Achilles spot. But in the meantime, Theo managed to grab his stygian iron blade from its sheath and put it to the person's neck, one of their hands stopping him at the wrist. Their other hand pushing the knife into Theo's other hand and grabbed his wrist there as well, then started pushing it towards his Achilles spot.

After a while of this weird wrestling with each other, something happened. SNAP. Blades going through bodies. Blades hitting the floor. The masked figure's body was gone, their soul absorbed into Theo's sword. Theo on the other hand... had a scratch on his bald spot. His body stumbled forward, and for a fraction of a second he was conscious- before it all faded to black.

Theo's body fell forward, onto his face. Dead. But... something about this felt strange. Death Mist gathered around the body, almost surrounding it, floating just above it. And this is the scene you find.

who am I?

(sorry this is long asf)

Argo.

He stares into the mirror of his bathroom. That's who's looking back at him. That's Argo. A faded scar on the left side of his face, sharp canines that look like fangs. Argo has deep brown eyes, deep rooted trust issues- and truly thinks he would be better off if everyone left him alone. Argo brings tragedy everywhere he goes. Argo has never talked to Hermes- and he assumes he never will. He's never been claimed, either. All he has is his shape-shifting and his jansport.

Argo has deep brown, short hair. And.. wings. Big wings.

Luna.

Luna is younger than Argo by a few years. She has an innocent smile, the same scar- just.. newer. She hasn't learned not to trust yet. She has plenty of friends! She has all the bracelets to prove it! But, she knows they all just see her as a kid.

Her eyes are a bright blue, her hair is long and blonde. Her fangs are duller, more like a dog than a cat.

She has wings as well, they're just smaller- more proportionate to her body than Argo.

Atticus.

That's a name nobody's heard in a while.

Golden eyes, fangs like a wolf and dirty blonde hair. His scar was healed; unlike Luna's.. but it was cut open- bleeding with.. what seems like golden ichor. Right, this isn't Argo- this isn't really a.. mortal. This is a combination between a demigod and godly beings. A puppet.

And he has no wings, but he does have strings.

The three are having a conversation- which should be impossible.. but it's happening.

Argo has split his bathroom mirror in half, Luna on one side- Atticus the other.

"We need to be democratic about this-" Argo is the only one on the outside of the mirror; his body is the only one physically there. "I. I barely remember anything. I remember vague stuff- I'm just getting.. absolutely horrendous vibes from you." Argo gestures to Atticus.

"WHAT?? What the fuck man! You give bad vibes!"

"I will smash your mirror-"

"BOYS! You're both pretty!" Luna snickers, cutting off the other two. "I say that since I remember the most- I should get control!"

"But you're a baby. I don't know how being mentally 12 and physically almost 15 will work. Plus, you've already pissed off Nero, and none of my friends like you- because they think you're stealing my spot."

"But-"

"No! No puppy dog eyes. Stop that. Stop it. I'm looking away."

Argo crosses his arms, looking away- and sees the door. He could just leave.

Guilt.

He sighs, turning back towards the mirrors.

He takes a deep breath, and takes Luna's portion of the mirror- staring into it.

Suddenly- you watch as Argo turns into Luna, then himself, then Luna.. then finally something strange.

They look Argo's age. 14, almost 15- with one brown and one blue eye. They have the facial and back wings; still an angelic white.

The front of their hair is Luna's brassy blonde- the back is Argo's dark brown. It's as long as Luna's was.. about to mid back- with Argo's bangs in the front.

They look up- propping themself up with their prosthetic arm.

"Hi." They definitely sound like Argo. "Who are.. you- I just need a name. Sorry. And- how long have you been there?"

Why did she have to stay up past curfew tonight? There was likely no one around who could help, and she didn't know if anyone was taking the night shift in the infirmary.

Besides, she should be able to heal this wound. She had always been able to heal stuff like this. So why now? Why wouldn't it work? Why did she have to forget the ambrosia she always kept on her in her cabin?
