Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure: Queen Clarion —Aesthetic
Queen Clarion's Character & Personality
Clarion possesses the queen-talent and is quite mysterious. She has lived longer than any other fairy or monarch of Pixie Hollow. Clarion has great wisdom, knowledge and tremendous power. Despite this, she doesn't take her royal status too seriously. Instead, Clarion is a loving and approachable motherly-figure. But she can be stern when she has to be. As ruler of Pixie Hollow, Clarion sometimes mediates to relieve stress and help clear her mind. She also only reappears when the situation asks for her regal attendance.

So funny story, I had an idea for a fairy kingdom/realm a long time ago (I know real original) but I decided to revamp it after the recent CRK announcement dropped.
So now my fairy kingdom has turned into the Isle of Seasons (think Pixie Hollow minus the giant magic tree), where fairy cookies are blessed by their supposed creators, The Fae, to control anything based on seasons and weather. (they weren't created by the Witches)
And this is their current ruler:
Queen Morpho Butterfly Cookie
Despite her reserved appearance, she's well-known by her subjects as a kind, attentive, and loyal ruler. The last quality is very evident by her soul jam, which holds the Light of Loyalty.
She was not born in the Isle, having been married into the royal family, but she still holds the people near and dear to her heart even after her beloved long passed away.
She isn't seen much outside her castle, unlike her son, Monarch Butterfly Cookie. Who, much to the dismay of the people, is trickster that likes to sass and play tricks on his subjects for fun; the opposite of his own mother you can say. The person he acts the most decent around is the queen, which is both odd yet expected.
She does not hold any weapons, but if she were to battle in dire conditions, she can rely on casting spells from her hands and wings.

YA NOVEL CLARION/MILORI CONTENT IN THE YEAR OF OUR TREE 2025???????????????????????
"Brimming with magic and romance, a young fairy queen must form an unlikely alliance or risk an unspeakable danger destroying all she holds dear in this standalone YA novel from New York Times bestselling author Allison Saft. It’s been centuries since a warm-season fairy in Pixie Hollow has crossed into the Winter Woods, and while most fear the legends of monsters lurking in the frozen lands, Clarion, can’t help being intrigued by Winter’s stoic beauty. But under the watchful eyes of the current monarch and the court's seasonal ministers, Clarion has little time to dwell on daydreams while the days to her coronation dwindle away. That is, until reports of a monster crossing from Winter into Spring make their way to the palace. Clarion sees defeating this threat as an opportunity to prove that she is worthy of her new role. But instead of finding a monster at the edge of Winter, she finds Milori, a young guardian of the Winter Woods. Together, they form an unlikely bond as they race to save their lands. But as their alliance warms to something more, they will discover there is a reason a warm-season fairy and a winter fairy must not be together. And the cost could be just as deadly as the monsters that prowl the Winter Woods. Discover the origin of the sweeping, star-crossed romance between the queen of Pixie Hollow and the lord of the Winter Woods."
#og#tjhis reminds me of those unused storyboards of that one movie where those monsters attacked clarion i think are thye#reusing that concept maybe#i cannot use my goddamn brain right now

i love your mind as this (pixie hollow fairies) was a previous hyperfixation of mine.
personally i'd go with water fairy for kalim, not just because of his signature magic, but also because they're some of the most (outwardly) emotional fairies too (they cry very very easily at just about anything).
you could even potentially make kalim the next monarch of the fairies but still in training if you'd want to keep jamil as a serving fairy as those also exist in the books. however there comes the added drama of not coinciding with the lore of "everyone loves their talents" bc he definitely DOES NOT love his job/role.
i could even see jamil as a fast flying talent ngl, it just feels like "him" to me. same with floyd and ace, idk something about those sports teams dudes give me fast flying type.
but for jack it's a toss up between fast flying and being a scouting talent. he does seem very protective to me
thinking about the twst cast as tinkerbell fairies and i was debating kalim possibly being a light fairy because *gestures vaguely* but also water fairy because his oasis maker UM

—–
Botania is a location in Unikitty: Big Bright World. It is led by Lord Terran Monarch, although he considers himself just a figurehead, and is a place that celebrates the land.
—–
Geography: Botania is an agricultural land abundant in many different types of plants, flowers, trees and fungi. There are numerous unique ecosystems within it.
In the southern parts of Botania is Veridan, otherwise known as the Verdant Forest. It is a forest biome where both deciduous and coniferous trees grow. There are also lots of flowered hills there. Beneath it is the southernmost area of the land, Jonkulo, a tropical rainforest called the Tender Rainforest. Jonkulo has the most waterways in Botania, as there are many ponds, streams and cascades there. Up north, above Veridan, there is Saveppea, the Ventrous Grasslands. It appears to be a combination of a savanna and a steppe with trees sparsely placed around it. The northernmost area of Botania is Duni, the Brilliant Desert. It is a desert with strong breezes, cacti, shrubs, and a few oases. A snowy territory up in the far north is Nayura, the Serene Tundra, which is considered wholly part of Botania.
Architecture: Throughout the land, there are many trees that the fairies and insects make their communities in, such as the Tree of Vitality in Veridan, where Lord Terran lives. In the desert area, they also live in cacti. They build interiors within the hollow parts of the tree and craft pods to hang from the branches. It should go without saying that bees and bee fairies live in beehives. As for other Botanians, they reside within buildings made of things like glass, stone and clay so that they won't harm living things in their environment. Other kinds of buildings in Botania are tents, structures made of sandstone, and burrows in the ground. Botanians like to decorate their buildings; one way of doing this is by growing plants on them.
Clothing: Botania's temperatures range from cool to hot, so the people who live there don't really need to wear clothes. Smaller creatures in the land, such as the insects and fairies, don't wear them. The fairies have torsos that are different colors than their skin and act as clothing for them. The Gemflowers are always seen wearing them. As for the other creatures who live there, like the animals, crystals and plants, some wear clothes while others don't.
For their weddings, Botanians’ families assist in dressing them in what they’ll be wearing for the event. Fairies and other smaller creatures wear garments made of flower petals and nut shells. Larger people wear garments that match the biome they’re from and are typically green, brown or almond. They can customize their look however they’d like, or they can just get married wearing whatever they want.
At a funeral, Botanians will wear gray, as it is a color that represents lifelessness to them.
Currency: Botania’s form of currency is called leaves. They are not literally leaves, but bills made with plants. They vary in size depending on their denomination.
Defense: Botania has a team called the Bramble Wall, who keep threats like monsters out of the land without slaying them. When something comes to destroy the land, they look as scary as they can to chase it out or try to calm it down. A branch of the Bramble Wall in Duni is called the Storm of Sands. Nayura has its own branch called the Mountain Cliff.
Education: Botania’s children first go to general school, which will teach them basic life skills and everything they’ll actually need to know in life. Then, they attend prep school, which shows them how to care for others and be a decent being. After that, they can go to any school that teaches them what they’re interested in learning about. There are interest schools for athletics, language, visual arts, performing arts, food, science and other subjects. They can attend one, more than one, or not go to any interest schools. Botania’s school years begin at the start of spring and end at the beginning of fall.
Culture: The demonym of Botania is Botanian. The name of the land, though based on botany, is pronounced boe-TAE-nee-ah.
The people of Botania are known for their kindness, friendliness, considerateness, and respect of all the world's living things. They care for the land and all of its creatures, living harmoniously with the nature around them. In comparison to Marevians, who are said to be calmer, Botanians are said to be livelier. Botania's official symbol is a tree, as it was first formed around a tree that provided resources for the people and kept them safe. It also serves as a symbol of life as a whole.
In Botania, it's not common to be named after your species or what type of creature you are. Usually, people have surnames, which are based on their species. Only the Gemflowers are named after what they are, their names coming from either their flower or their gemstone.
Botanian New Year would happen at any time in January, depending on where it falls on their calendar. The people observe it by cleaning out their homes and sorting through their items. The fairy bands play, and there’s lots of festive dancing. People throw parties in the hopes that the next year will bring more joy, fun and life than despair and decay.
Earth Day is a very important holiday in Botania. The people celebrate by having huge get-togethers and feasting on natural foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to show gratitude for their life. They’ll also thank Lord Terran, whom they call the Life-Bringer, for sharing his knowledge of the earth with them.
Another holiday of theirs is the Eternal Bloom festival. They celebrate it at the end of summer to mark the change of seasons and say goodbye to the summer. There’s a huge carnival with games and amusement rides. Also, local rock bands and circus students perform there.
Botanians don't believe in the idea of wealth, as everybody gets paid the same and is treated equally. They see Lord Terran as their friend next door who provides information on helping things grow and nourishing them.
The people of Botania buy all of their things from outdoor farmers' markets instead of stores or supermarkets. This is also the case with everything else they buy; artists, toymakers, tailors and more sell what they make at outdoor markets.
In Botania, they believe that you are a part of the world, and they don't believe in an afterlife. When people die, they return their pieces to the earth so they can be part of it.
Birthdays in Botania are celebrated by connecting with your loved ones and with things in nature. The birthday person also does their favorite things, a do-over of something that went wrong or that they regret, or something new they would like to try. They emphasize the life and individuality of a person and making someone’s life the best it possibly can be. No one says how old they’ll be turning, as Botanians put a lot more emphasis on how long a person has lived life.
Botanians have an important celebration for when a baby has spent a full year alive. This event is not like a first birthday party, however. This event is held in the biome that the child was born in/hatched in, and it’s done outside. The event symbolizes that, now that a kid has been alive for a year, they have fully become part of nature. So, they receive nature-themed gifts and can roll around in the mud, grass or sand.
When the time comes for butterflies and moths to undergo metamorphosis, there’s a ritual where their family guides the caterpillar to a safe place where they can go into their chrysalis/cocoon. During this period, someone cares for their homes so they can focus on watching over their kid. They decorate the pupa with flowers/plants representing good luck. When the kid emerges, their family celebrates by doing their favorite things with them.
Many Botanians just agree to get married and focus on planning their wedding, but they have an engagement celebration of their own. After they agree to marry, their families and friends are invited to a place they feel at home in, feels special to them, or they just like to be at. Their families congratulate them, and they all show each other love and geniality. After the toasting and unity, they get up to sing karaoke or dance. At the end, the engaged people have to work together to clean up.
Botanians like to hold their weddings at high noon. They take place at a spot close to where the marrying people first met. At Botanian weddings, it’s the relatives who officiate. They offer some proverbial words about nature, and then the marrying people give each other their life essence. They do this by drinking water, fruit juice, or something else that comes from the biome(s) they’re from. They proceed to put a string of plants from said biome(s) around their hands, and it ends with them touching a potted plant. Everyone then changes into clothes made for a party. There’s a lot of emphasis put on the newlyweds’ families being united. Just like with engagement parties, the newlyweds have to work together to clean up afterwards.
In Botania, they believe that you are a part of the world, and they don’t believe in an afterlife. When people die, they return their pieces to the earth so they can be part of it. The deceased person’s family holds on to their pieces, and nothing is done with them. No one officiates, per se, but older relatives will lead the way. The pieces are carried to a gorge, ravine, gully, or grotto in the side of a hill. A funeral clown might be there to celebrate the person’s life with them. The oldest guest(s) briefly talk about how much that person meant to their loved ones, and all the guests will thank the earth and nature for letting them exist. They’ll lay their pieces to rest in the chasm or within the grotto, and someone will put up a sign with a picture of them on it. Once it’s over, they spend a while planting flower seeds, tree seeds, or cacti seeds they hope the dead person’s life essence will hopefully embody.
Botanians like to play music with orchestras. They also have traditional music bands called fairy bands, and they’re mostly made up of woodwinds, including tin whistles and bamboo flutes. Their most popular/known performing arts are circus acts, and there are a good number of circuses that perform around the land. Students can train to be circus performers in Botania’s performing arts schools. There are different acts you can do, such as acrobatics, trapeze, tightrope walking, hooping, spinning plates, motordrome, equestrian vaulting, juggling, clowning, etc. You can also learn to be a ringmaster. When it’s a holiday, the circus students parade down the road. Botanians also like dancing, and they even consider popular music concerts to be a performing art.

Trivia:
Botania was simply a garden city in its earliest version.
In the Big Bright World AU, Dr. Fox's family is from Botania. Many of her relatives still live there, including her grandmother and her older sister. Dr. Fox herself was born in Botania, studied science there, and has lived in different lands throughout her life.
Botania is a strong ally to Marevi. Their alliance is much like the bond of a pair of unbreakable best friends. They bring each other up very, very often.
In some languages, Lord Terran is called the king of Botania instead of its lord.
Botania has built and launched some environmentally safe satellites. Despite this, they haven't gotten far with space exploration, and not many Botanians work in astronomy. They focus mainly on the life of their earth rather than exploring faraway planets.
Getting banished from Botania and being sent to a max-security prison outside of it is the worst punishment you can receive.
Kira and her friends live in the Tree of Vitality.
Botanians get around with public transportation. Tiny creatures like the fairies ride in tiny flying buses to travel far distances.

🌹🍊📙 for Flynn and ❌⭐🌸 for moth!
FLYNN
🌹 How easy is it for them to connect with others and make friends? On the flip side how easy is it for them to make an enemy of someone? Are they the kind of person who hangs around the food table at a party and never talks to anyone or are they the type who can talk to anyone?
Flynn is rough around the edges but genuinely a kind and charming person though ascribes to tough love sometimes XD She will always appear jolly to everyone even her enemies but is not afraid to backstab someone she thinks might be dangerous (pirate life babbeeyyyyy). She is a social butterfly and will talk to anyone XD
🍊 What is your OC’s favourite meal? Snack? Dessert? Drink? Any reasons behind this besides liking how it tastes?
Outside of beer she loves savoury dishes and anything salty. It might be a bit cliche but fish and chips reminds her of home and is her comfort food :D
📙 What kind of subjects (of conversation, of discussion, in school or whatever) does your OC find interesting or engaging or that they can talk for hours about? What kind of stuff do they just find fun?
What things bore your OC to tears and they couldn’t care less about? Why?
Flynn loves to talk about history and antiques, she grew up in a merchant family and knowing the history and significance of something was very important to them so Flynn has taken on a love of knowing about the past because of this. The perk of being a pirate means she gets to travel to different parts of the world and learn about the different histories of different places. She also secretly loves romance novels and will gush about them to anyone who shares her interest (secretly)
There isn't anything that would really bore her but certain scientific topics, like insect life cycles will cause her to zone out and politely nod XD
MOTH
❌ What kind of things would end any relationship for them? Is there a history behind why these things bother them? Could they ever take someone back despite this? If so or if not, why?
Moth is very very clingy but also pines after people for actual decades, he has been crushing on another pixie named Monarch for the last 15 years. Monarch is kind but dense in his own way and is not picking up on the signs but also has not shown any interest in Moth that way XD
⭐ What is your OC afraid of? Any crippling phobias or some such? How do they act when scared and what helps them calm down? Does anyone ever find your OC scary? Why?
He is deathly afraid of hairy caterpillars, Moth tends to freeze up and then run behind the nearest larger creature which is usually Husk XD He is also not a fan of the ocean since wet pixie wings don't work too good XD
🌸 What does your OC’s voice sound like? Their laugh? Are they good at singing? Do they have an accent?
Moth has a sweet, young voice despite being a 60 year old pixie he is given eternal youth and his hollow spent a lot of time singing during daily tasks so he's quite good at it. His laugh is obnoxiously loud for a pixie even when he's trying to sneak XD He has a sylvan accent whenever he speaks :D

Let's talk about Zephyr's AU!
So, let me start with the universe in which I set the scene. (More art of this AU will be released in due time.)
This is set in a universe with Pixie Hollow and Kingdom Hearts both in mind. Let's take a step back thousands of years into the past, long before even the Dandelions and the MoM. Before they were even a twinkle.
The world was a dark place. Chaos, the Allfather, had reigned for eons before Zephyr and his brothers and sisters were born. There were four Dream Talent Deities born, including Zephyr. Arlon (Are-Lawn) was the firstborn. Born of darkness and starlight, he established the night sky under which the denizens of the light slumbered.
Nox (knocks) was the second eldest. He created the moon which the denizens of light used to guide their way after the sun set.
Nezore (Neh-zor-ay) was the third. She created the sun under which the denizens of light basked in its warmth and praised its life.
Zephyr (Zeff-er) was the last. He was much like his brother, Arlon, in a sense where he too was born of darkness. But unlike Arlon who ruled the night sky, Zephyr resided instead over dreams. He watched over the slumber of the denizens of light, as well as the denizens of the dark. He protected them from nightmares, and blessed them with pleasant dreams. The denizens of the light were made with shared effort of Selene and Nezore, and they ruled over them equally. Over time, the denizens of light divided into several faerie factions. Arlon disliked this sort of separation, believing that the fae should be as one. Zephyr disagreed, believing diversity would be beneficial to the mortals below. Nezore and Selene had no opinion on the matter, as they cared not for the pettier affairs of mortal fae.
Time went on, and tensions between Arlon and Zephyr grew. The two quarreled over many things. Thousands of years of quarreling formed into resentment, and resentment into hatred. Arlon acted first, attempting to knock Zephyr from his celestial throne--so to speak. Selene and Nezore got in his way, and they became casualties of Arlon's wrath. In a last ditch effort to preserve his abilities, Zephyr created the Dream Talent fairies to pursue his humble guarding of mortal realm dreams. The two clashed, and it was a grueling fight. Zephyr bested Arlon, but only barely. His body was severely damaged, and his wings no longer kept him in flight.
So, he took to the ground among his children and lived among them as a king, not a god.
Zephyr established an equal society of mortal fae--every Talent would have its niche that contributed to everyone. He enlisted the help of the four Monarchs of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. (I'll explain more about the Monarchs in my next post!!)

Say “No” To the Nobility
I originally wrote this for a short story assignment in my creative writing class, but I scrapped it and decided to write something else. Anyway, here’s a short story. enjoy:)
Say “No” To the Nobility
by J.J. Oliveira
The first thing the girl noticed when she awoke was the scent of the damp earth and cinnamon. Later, she would discover that the cinnamon was there, not as a result of any nearby cinnamon trees, but because the mushroom goblins used the powder to color their caps a brick red. She had no memory of ever arriving in the forest, or indeed any memory at all. The girl was cocooned in a swath of green moss, and her hair had been braided with white lilies and peach blossoms. She opened her mouth to ask where she had been taken, but felt as though her tongue had been stuck down with cobwebs, and though she had parted her lips, she could not speak. Still, the girl struggled, mouth open as she silently pleaded with the small beings carrying her to set her down. The girl could feel their soft hands pressing into her back, six pairs of them, all running at an equal gait across the forest floor as they struggled to reach their destination.
The girl rolled her head around helplessly, as it was the only part of her body that had not been constrained by her mossy prison. There were little moon faces peering from behind the trees, little mushroom goblins turning up their caps and staring at her with beady eyes brimming with curiosity or scorn. Little beams of colorful light, some unfolding from within the bloom of a flower, stretching languidly to shake off their slumber, and others riding falling leaves, sharp teeth all in view. Little pixies and goblins shaking twigs out of their hair to catch a glimpse of the drowsy human swaddled in moss. She gazed back at them half in fear, for she could do nothing but watch them watch her, carried silent and immobile through the forest.
The sky was dark overhead, little pinpricks of light cutting holes through the blackness of the night sky, but the forest gave no inclination of the time. There hung lanterns and strings of strange light with no justifiable source, for there was no flame, and no electricity, but the lights were there all the same. Yellow or white in hue, and covering every tree in sight. The girl tried to cry, but felt nothing in her eyes but the sting of oncoming tears. As she was carried through the forest more creatures emerged from the wilderness, fauns and strange women with skin made of bark, and vines in place of hair. They regarded her with an alien calm, these fae had curious features, elongated and sharp, with long ears protruding from the side of their heads, and the occasional pair of horns or a tail.
The fauns did not look hungry when they grinned and bared their fangs in greeting, not as cruel or cold as the pixies and nymphs were. The fauns stood hesitantly on their cloven hooves, as if their own humanity was reaching out to her, was it empathy she saw in their eyes, or pity? Could she even distinguish one from the other? They were the most human in the crowd of fae, and the girl begged them with her eyes as she passed each of them, but none made a move to step forward or cut her free, they closed their eyes against her pleas and retreated behind the trees.
The fae began to whisper among themselves, in a strange tongue with harsh consonants and complex guttural syllables. They all crowded together past a tall arch made of two living trees, some clothed in rich embroidered fabrics, donning gold or silver bangles and circlets, while others were naked. This was the faery court, the girl knew it before she entered. The fae stood at twice her height, eyes nearly completely enveloped by their irises, which varied in hue from purest black to bright violet. The fae were diverse, bearing strange tattoos, and clothing of all models. They separated into different clusters, though the girl could not say what exactly separated them. The one unifying trait was their gaze, filled with something halfway between restrained curiosity and haughty indifference.
She turned her eyes skyward and the girl could see the faery city. The trees were living, that much was clear from the bright green leaves that formed the canopy, but they had been carved hollow. Trees like apartment buildings scattered throughout the city, rope bridges and carved staircases connecting them to each other. Faery’s easily walked across narrow paths, some 200 feet from the floor. The forest floor had been paved with round grey stones, patches of flowers housing pixies strategically placed to keep fae from straying from the path. The girl was lain down on a patch of clover before two gnarled wooden thrones. They were both husks of what must have been two beautiful yew trees. Branches woven together formed a gilded peak above the owners of the thrones, though both were empty. The caps who had been carrying her knelt silently, and the rest of the court soon followed suit.
Rise.
The moss that held her limbs bound as tightly as rope disintegrated as the girl stood. She was naked, and some small voice in her said that she should be ashamed of it, but she stood before all of faery court and never felt the urge to bring her arms up to cover herself. On the thrones, as if they had apparated there, sat two of the most beautiful faery’s she had ever seen. The one on the right bore long tendrils of hair like sunlight, sharp and narrow eyes betrayed nothing of the faery’s emotion, but instead held their steely blue gaze fixed on the human who had only just unfurled from her mossy prison. The faery wore pristine white robes, which revealed only a pearlescent chest and spidery hands. The faery sitting on the left had deep indigo skin. This second faery had midnight black hair, pulled back into an orderly braid. Their eyes were a soft tawny brown, but equally as harsh as their partner’s. The faery wore a loose pair of orange silken trousers, and a top that was part wrap and part robe. They both had delicate feminine features, but the girl could not distinguish their gender. Thick gold bands sat slanted on their heads, inscribed with foreign runes, and set with a round stone that seemed to be filled with smoke that was never the same color twice.
“My lord Oberon, we’ve brought the girl.” the white faery turned his eyes away from the naked human and toward the caps who had been carrying her. Oberon seemed displeased that the cap had spoken out of turn, though hardly anyone could attest to seeing the faery king truly pleased. Titania scowled at the caps, and all twelve scattered into the crowd.
“You must be hungry.” the girl felt a tremor in her bones when the faery queen’s eyes locked with her own. Something deep rooted in her humanity knew to be afraid of those tawny eyes. She wanted to ask a hundred questions, all with a similar theme, what is happening? But instead she uttered a meek affirmation. Titania glanced at the crowd of her subjects and waved a careless blue hand. “Eat.”
Where moments ago there stood dozens of faery nobility, now was a twenty foot oaken table, covered in all manner of dishes. Just like before, a tremor of fear ran down her spine. She should not eat the food, or even touch it. But the burning intensity of Titania’s gaze pushed the girl forward, toward a simple stool at the head of the table. Spread before her were six whole roasted animals, pies and elaborate cakes, and baskets full of fruit and leafy vegetables. A loud growl emitted from her stomach, though she could not recall having been hungry on the journey. The sights and smells of the faery feast drove her closer to it. She could still feel the eyes of the two monarchs, and a hundred pairs of eyes peering out through the trees.
They were dangerous, the girl knew that much. But she could not remember why she was so afraid of them. Had they not given her a feast? They had shown her nothing but kindness, and she was so hungry. The girl darted her hand out and grasped a pear dusted with gold. The chalice that sat next to her simple wooden plate filled with wine before her eyes, and she took both up, taking a bite then a sip of the sweet wine. It warmed her, as though she had swallowed a flame. Burning her inside, she took another sip. Then another, and soon she had emptied the cup. The girl hiccuped like a drunk at bacchanal, and giggled a little to herself, forgetting the crowd of fae watching her for a moment.
The girl watched as though she were just a spectator to her life, as her hand went limp and dropped the chalice. The golden cup hit the ground, and it broke into six wooden pieces, dripping with blood. She opened her mouth to protest, but found that she had lost all control of her body. Oberon belted out a cruel laugh, and with what remained of her strength the girl turned her head to the faery king and queen. Their features had warped into something unrecognizable to the regal gods they had seemed to be. Hungry and canine, their mouths were twisted into something resembling a smile.
Fear crashed over her like a cacophony of cymbals, she understood too late why she had been afraid. The same fear that shook her spine fell upon her ten fold. Staring up into the maws of the faery king, immobile and silent.

The clouds will be a daisy chain | Queen Bae Jr.
@justkeepdancing-nemo
Clarion fluttered away from the pixie dust tree, deep in thought as she always was after consulting with past monarchs. Consulting them was always interesting, though it left her with just as many questions as she had been given answers. Which was why she found herself flying around the hollow, not particularly focused on reaching a specific destination.
It was a wonderful feeling, letting her wings unfurl and to enjoy being a fairy. It was too often these days that she was encumbered with work in town, or with meeting with all the different fairies to be able to take a moment like this. She relished that moment, twirling around in the air until she was floating on her back for just a moment.
Perhaps it was the different angle, or the different way that she positioned herself, but it allowed Clarion to catch sight of a fairy she might have missed seeming to have curled in on themselves. Clarion righted herself and immediately started for them, landing softly on the ground.
It took only a moment to realize it was Nemo, and she moved to sit down next to him before she thought to say a word. “Hello Nemo. I wondered when I might see you.” She smiled warmly at the young fairy, settling in next to him. “How are you doing little bird?”

What do you think of Tayen?
The Shadow Queen of Pixie Hollow? I...respect her position as a monarch. She may be the only person I’m actually afraid of, both because I have a physical allergy to pixie dust and because her nightmares are rumored to be deadly. Not much scares me...but I’d rather not find out what she could do to my mind.

@cursed-god im glad you asked!
first of all, the talent reveal ceremony is almost certainly completely fabricated by queen clarion. this has many sinister implications all on its own, but its definitely evil when it comes to this:
yeah she has a whole class of fairies whose lives are devoted to serving her specifically.
secondly, she is explicitly directly responsible for the divide between the winter and summer regions. it is my personal theory that the spring and fall regents were eliminated by her somehow in between the events of tinker bell (2008) and tinker bell and the lost treasure (2009) . this is likely due to the social upheaval caused by the fairy industrial revolution spurred on by tinker bell's (illegal) experiments with human debris. she is an isolationist imperial monarch.
thirdly, she hinders the goals of the protagonists in every single movie in the series, whether by explicit discouragement and reactionary governing, or by proxy of the frightening specter she poses to her citizens. every time an important action like scientific advancement or political outreach for the betterment of pixie hollow must be proposed, she vehemently opposes it until it happens without her approval. then she retains her position as monarch by acting as though she still has the authority to graciously forgive a citizen for transgressing her orders.
finally, she's almost certainly not a fairy in the same sense as any of the others in pixie hollow. it is unlikely that she is the same species. i would dismiss it as a regional difference if there werent an entire movie hinging upon winter fairies and summer fairies having identical wings. she appears to draw upon (or perhaps shes made of?) pixie dust, which would partially explain how much of a heavily controlled substance it is prior to the moonstone's influence. there's no question that she's exploiting these fairies for personal gain, the question is, to what extent? and what is she?
tldr; queen clarion is an authoritarian ruler who opposes all forms of progress for no apparent reason other than personal gain.
i feel genuine animosity towards her like she is my real enemy. politically.

I was thinking lately about one thing... I wonder how does a life of a sparrowman looks like in Pixie Hollow which is predominantly matriarchal society. I am especially interested in social and mental developments, cause you see in our predominantly patriarchal world (sometimes) men are born to believe that they're the best and the stongest and they can do anything, etc., but women are made think they just good for being wifes. How would in look like in predominantly matriarchal fairy society?
I don’t think fairies have the same institutional and socially ingrained sexism that humans have, because they don’t--and never did--exist in a similar environment, nor are raised/developed from a malleable age to believe certain things. I mean, fairies are born fully-formed from laughter and live in a secluded part of a magical island where they are all but untouched by humanity.
There’s nothing to dictate what roles female and male fairies (sparrow man) should play in society biologically speaking, because they don’t even reproduce. To address the issue of women being made wifes/mothers and defined by that role in life while men are supposedly the breadwinners? Like, that wouldn’t ever have occurred to fairies because they don’t have family dynamics like that. Every fairy does their job/talent and they don’t even have an economy to worry about either.
And with the elimination of those, I don’t think anything else would rise in its place, like the “matriarchal” society we speak of in Pixie Hollow extends as far as Queen Clarion and Mother Dove being the leaders of the kingdom, and probably because the DF franchise was made to be marketed to little girls who want to see more girly characters, giving Tink and all her friends the spotlight as main characters, which is why for example Beck is the best animal fairy, or Fira is the best light talent and so on.
But there are also sparrow men in positions of power such as Lord Milori, the Ministers of Autumn and Spring, and Fairy Gary, and I don’t think there’s ever an implication of reverse-sexism against sparrow men just because the monarch is a queen.
I hope this answer made sense, because I think I understand where you’re coming from about interest in the results a society where the reverse of power dynamics between men/women is true, but it doesn’t really apply IMHO to Disney Fairies because they just aren’t socialized the way humans are regardless!
