The Buontalenti Grotto by Bernardo Buontalenti and the Grotta di Madama by Davide Fortini at the Giardino di Boboli, Palazzo Pitti, Florence. As if the Boboli gardens were not magical enough without these beautiful grottos which embellish the idyllic and mythical Italian garden of the Pitti Palace. Never have I ever seen such magnificent gardens, with its glorious Fountain of Neptune, the folly that is the Fontana del Bacchino, and The Isolotto.
