This Saturday, as part of the Historic Fire Hall #1 Courtyard Summer Performances, in conjunction with The City of Calgary, I’d like to present: The PitBull Poetry PhireHouse Phenomenon 3 Poets will be taking to the mic in the courtyard of Historic Fire Hall #1, in a New York Street Performance style, bringing hot words to this historical piece of Calgary. Youth Poet Sensation, ‘The WordTumbler’, Hailey Hawken will be performing in her FirstFeature and this has truly been awhile in the waiting. YYC to YEG and back on the mic is Liam Coady, one of the features from PitBull Poetry Reading Series in Century Gardens! Poetry, Presence, Theatre, he’s got it, come and get it. And me. We may be blessed with musical interludes and accompaniment, and those musicians are at this time, TBA. However, the Poets are in, solid and ready to bless the mic.
