Tighnari x gn!reader- Flufftober Day 1
t/w- camping, fluff, mention of fire
summary- Camping fluff
Camping wasn’t your favourite activity. However, it was Tighnaris. He enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the forest rangers, and most of all he enjoyed being with you. You always found a secluded spot among the flora and fauna of Sumeru. This time was no different, you packed up your items needed and set off to find your favourite spot once again.
It was a slightly secluded area, but that's just how you both liked it. Quiet, away from people and perfect for Tighnari’s ears. It was a weekend you both treasured, even if one of you didn't like camping as much.
When you’d set up your tent for the next two nights, you quickly filled it with the pillows and blankets you’d bought along. Making a cosy, haven for both of you. Tighnari was getting the fire ready and just sat and watched beside him.
“Did we bring marshmallows?” You asked.
“Yeah, I think they’re in my bag.”
You searched through his bag to pull out a large bag of marshmallows. Along with some other snacks and actual food. Collei had made some pita pockets for the both of you, just to make sure you were well-fed on the trip.
Once Tighnaris had the fire going you went off searching for the best two sticks you could find. It took forever but finally, you found two perfect marshmallow cooking sticks. You started to quickly run back to the campsite to share with Tighnari the good news.
“They look perfect y/n,” Tighnari said with a smile. “Come over here.”
His arms were open wide perfect for you to snuggle into. Which you did. Burying your face in his neck, and getting ready to cook some marshmallows. You gave Tighnari his stick and found the bag of marshmallows. The marshmallows started to turn a lovely golden colour in the flames, and was cooked to perfection.
The night continued on this like, just you and tighnari laughing and talking. Until it was time to turn in, your partner seemed very impressed with your decorating of the tent. You both feel asleep almost instantly.

A stick(L)y situation
Kaveh invites Cyno and Tighnari to his place after the delicious lunch at Pardis Dhyai... better yet, he invites them to Alhaitham's place
A/N: Hellooo!! How're you doing? 🥰 Just as I promised, the fic is coming out today and I hope it's as awesome as the characters I got to write for!! This is a request for one of those followers that was here from day 1 and has always supported my writing and has encouraged me during the times in which I lacked inspiration 🌸 Non ci sono parole per dirti quanto apprezzo il tuo sostegno 💚🤍❤️ (there are no words to tell you how much I appreciate your support)
DISCLAIMER: This is a tickle fic, if it's not to your taste I don't suggest you read it
"I still don't understand what this is all about..." Alhaitham mumbled as he prepared his Sabz Meat Stew with such a grumpy expression that the bad mood could be felt in the whole kitchen. "I told you already!" Kaveh's voice resonated louder than necessary "Cyno and Tighnari invited us to celebrate Collei's academic progress, it's nice to invite them back."
"Oh so invited them to MY place without telling me about it until two hours before their arrjval?" The Acting Grand Sage said with such a sharp sarcasm that could've cut through titanium. "Well... I knew you'd say no... and I live here too, so it's kinda our place now! Even if no one knows I actually live here... b-but I'm older anyway so you gotta listen to your senior..!"
The younger man let out a dry laugh at Kaveh's nervous tone. If that was meant to be authoritative, he couldn't imagine how he handled nasty clients. "I suppose it's too late to cancel the invitation anyway, so you better finish that Fatteh quickly and set up the table. What are you even doing? It's food, not a model of your buildings."
"Ugh you..! Cooking is a form of art, and the presentation is essential when you serve something to a guest!" The blonde exclaimed with such indignation that one would've thought Alhaitham had just said something blasphemous. "Whatever... food is supposed to be digested and decomposed, I don't see why the effort should be worth it..."
A knock interrupted the philosophical debate about how the food should be served. Kaveh quickly fixed his hair and went to the door. "Welcome guys! Alhaitham was so nice to offer his own place to have this dinner!" He exclaimed with such a rigid tone that Alhaitham internally facepalmed.
A great way to not let them understand that the two of them were roomies...
Fortunately, the Archons were on the architect's side and he managed to quickly change topic. "Oh? Where's Collei?" Tighnari sighed "A friend of her had invited her to Mondstadt to celebrate her progress some time ago and she forgot to tell us... but she made some Pita Pockets for us to make us forgive her." The fennec fox handed a cute package full of Pita Pockets made like only Collei was able to do.
"Oh well... that's a shame, but I'm glad she got the opportunity to travel again and that she made such a nice and caring friend!" Kaveh said cheerfully. "Oh yeah, that Sucrose girl seems really nice, although she's a little shy... actually really shy..." the dark-haired guy added.
"That probably makes her the perfect match for Collei though..." Cyno thought out loud, "although her deck is no match for Collei's one... for example, have you seen how she deploys..." After ten minutes of rambling, Tighnari managed to stop the long haired guy's monolog about the smartest way to play TCG.
"Anyway," Kaveh continued "celebrating Collei's progress without Collei doesn't make much sense... so we should totally make another dinner! I'm sure Alhaitham would be delighted to have us here again to bring life to this place!"
Alhaitham sighed, already annoyed by all that noise and all that chattering. He breathed deeply and tried to put on his usual poker face. It was just a dinner after all... a couple of hours and they'd be gone...
Four hours had passed, it was 11 pm, and a very grumpy Alhaitham was sitting on his couch witnessing the match between Kaveh and Cyno to decide the TCG champion.
Kaveh was destroyed in three quick rounds, which made the Scribe let out the first chuckle of that evening. The older student, on the other hand, pouted at that humiliation. In his defense, Cyno had brought a special liquor from the Desert and he had gone a little overboard with drinking, so he wasn't exactly in top shape when he dueled against the King of Invokations.
"Shut up Alhaitham! This isn't funny..! I just had bad cards and bad luck with the dices..!" The blonde tried to justify himself, although that didn't affect the smug smile that was adorning Cyno's face. "Please, even a Sumpter Beast would've played a better match..." the silver-haired man replied without hesitation. Even Tighnari had to chuckle at that comparison, the idea of a blond and fancy Sumpter Beast sounded hilarious.
Kaveh became red in the face and squinted his eyes at his (secret) roommate. He was just a little tipsy, so he was sober enough to have control over his thoughts, actions and movements. "You wanna laugh, you brat? I'll give you something to laugh about!!" His hands found the Scribe's hips and they squeezed roughly and mercilessly.
Tighnari and Cyno looked at the scene with a dumbfounded expression while Alhaitham kicked the air with his legs, doing his best to hold back his laughter.
"You didn't even smile throughout the whole dinner and the first laugh you have is at your senior?? This will teach you some manners!" The blonde gestured his friends to join him, and surprisingly they looked at each other and actually did.
"Yeah, you absolutely need to laugh more. It's good for your health, you know?" The fennec fox grinned as his hands latched on the Acting Grand Sage's knees and squeezed gently but firmly.
"Well..." Cyno's voice behind him made Alhaitham jump, "it seems like you're in a rather... stickly situation..." Everyone sighed... better yet, Alhaitham would have if he hadn't been busy holding back his laughter. "Do you get it? People usually say 'you're in a sticky situation' so I put the word 'sticky' and 'tickly' together"
After the lack of reaction, Cyno gave up on explaining his joke and let his wiggling fingers descend on his friend's neck. A snort came out of the Acting Grand Sage's mouth, although he didn't really have the composure of an Acting Grand Sage in that moment, and the dam finally broke.
Low pitched giggles came out in a stream as the poor Scribe squirmed and tried in vain to get away from the six evil hands that were gently and playfully tormenting him. "Thihihis ihihis childihihihish!!" He whined between his giggles, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
"That's what you get for laughing at your senior!" Kaveh yelled proudly while he poked all over his poor roommate's torso. Tighnari chuckled "I wonder what happens if I get behind here..." His nimble fingers sneaked behind his knees and scribbled relentlessly, making the silver-haired man go into another fit of cackles.
"Thihihis ihis thehe lahahahast timehe Ihihi invihihite yohohou herehehe!!" Everyone let out a fake gasp "You don't mean it..!" The architect exclaimed, now fully in his drama queen mode, "I didn't wanna do this, but you left me no choice. Behold my final ace up my sleeve guys!!"
After that probably ridiculous battle scream, probably dictated by the liquor, Kaveh sneaked his hands behind his roommate's back, targeting the back of his ribs. The shriek that left Alhaitham's lips didn't even sound like it could come from him, but Tighnari and Cyno quickly recovered from the surprise and followed the blonde's lead.
With six hands all targeting his most sensitive spot, it took less than a minute to make Alhaitham's body go limp. His laughter got completely silent and even a tear formed in the corner of his eye. The three friends took it as their signal to stop, which they did.
After the young Scribe recovered from the merciless tickle attack and the embarrassment, Kaveh looked at him smugly once more and said in a proud tone "Now that you got something better to laugh about than your senior, wanna play another round of TCG?"
Cyno immediately agreed, and he quickly convinced Tighnari with a pair of wide puppy dog eyes, and Alhaitham ended up joining too.
Although he'd never say it out loud, he was sure he'd invite the guys and Collei one more time for a nice dinner and a night of genuine, lighthearted fun.

Scoobtober Day 1: Snacks
One of the first things people ever learn about Shaggy is that he always has snacks on him. Always. Breakfast bars and cheerios in his pockets. Mini sandwiches in the first aid kit. Whole charcuterie plates in the Mystery Machine’s secret compartments. (The ones Fred doesn’t know about at least.) He can make a full meal only out of stuff you find at the nearest gas station. But Daphne has to hold onto the Scooby snacks because Shaggy is smart enough that he doesn’t have that much self-control.
One of the first things Shaggy learns about people is their favourite snack. Fred mentions his off-handedly on a late-night stakeout. S’more bars because they remind him of summer camp. A few bars appear in Shaggy’s pockets beside the cheerios, and he manages to keep one under his hat. Velma shares hers with him over a Poodle Justice marathon. Pita chips, because they’re not messy or sticky and they’re a family favourite. Shaggy clears out one charcuterie compartment and adds a couple bags of pita chips. There’s also one in the first aid kit, sandwiched between the gauze and the mini sandwiches. He deduces Daphne’s from her snack choices on movie night. Grapes, the green ones specifically because they always had them backstage when she did her pageants and she used to sneak a couple when no one was looking . This one is harder to stock - but it’s surprisingly (and somewhat worryingly) easy to make the van’s glove compartment climate controlled.
Shaggy figures out Scooby’s favourite a little after bringing him home. He can’t shake the feeling that there’s something wrong with the store-bought treats his dad buys (he’ll later find out the company got sued over the treats not being good for the dogs) so he does some research and tries to make his own. He burns the first batch. He tries one from the second batch and then vomits. He goes through trial and error (lots and lots of errors) for a year before perfecting them. They’re amazing, and Scooby says they taste like home. The first batch also tasted slightly like blood because Scooby said his first english words while Shaggy was chewing and he bit his tongue.
And Shaggy? Shaggy’s favourite snack is Scooby snacks. And s’more bars. And pita chips. And green grapes. Shaggy thinks that the s’more bars taste like mystery they solved at Fred’s old camp and the pita chips remind him of how warm Ms. Dinkley’s hugs are and the shine on the green grapes makes him think of the mischievous look in Daphne’s eyes. And Scooby snacks taste like home.
Snacks can be a love language, can’t it?

[ -> @freshsprout liked for a starter !! ]
"You have to make sure they're about the same size so they'll cook evenly," Tighnari hums, angling himself away from where he's chopping mushrooms for their stew so Collei can see them. "Mushrooms are pretty forgiving, though, so they don't need to be perfect. Potatoes are a little more finicky, too big and they'll stay raw in the middle." His lips curl into a frown at the thought.
"I like the taste of the mushrooms by themselves, but there are many different things you can add to change the flavor - or the uses." He hums, tipping the cutting board into the pot. "You could add some of the spices you use in pita pockets, for example. Or other vegetables or meats for additional nutrients." After giving the mushrooms a stir, he rummages for the notebook with his recipes.
"If you'd like, for your writing practice next week, I think we could work on recipes." He holds out the notebook, chin canted slightly. "We can make anything in here that sounds good, and you can copy the recipe down for yourself. We can also try other things, but you may need to give me a heads up so we can make sure to get any ingredients we might not have readily available."
He turns back to the fire, tending to the stew. "Would you like that?" Tighnari tries to give Collei space to think, to relieve the pressure of eyes on her should she wish to say no. It's no easy thing, certainly, but it's getting easier all the time. Pride swells in his chest, thinking about how far she's come since Cyno brought her to the forest.
#tighnari is So Wordy#he has so much to say and for what#writing | tighnari#freshsprout#let me know if you'd like me to change anything!#i tried to keep it vague enough it could slot anywhere in the timeline you might want collei to be at!#also i assumed tighnari for obvious reasons but if you're ever interested i have Thoughts about collei and kaveh's relationship!

about the vision: "i got my vision during my first performance under the stars. i vowed that night that i would dedicate my life to performing with my sister. i'd been so lost on the path of my life before then. i like to think the geo archon listened to me."
something to share: "it's important that we endure the tough moments in life that come from hard work. if we don't, we fail to see our potential shine in our accomplishments."
interesting things: aranara: "have i ever heard of the aranara? oh... so you can see them too? theyre quite fond of my performances. hm? how can i see them? that's a secret."

NAME: La Sauce
LOCATION: Deersprings
Every town has its deadly pit of primordial, tar-like ooze (right?) and Wicked’s Rest is no exception. Affectionately called “La Sauce” or simply “the sauce” by the locals, this pile of sludge is located in a clearing in the woods of Deersprings. Nothing grows around it, and for some indiscernible reason, people say it smells like human fear. The university claims that the ooze is tar, and La Sauce is nothing more than an ordinary tar pit, but chemical analysis is inconclusive. Tar or not, it’s far from ordinary, and those who find themselves submerged in the pit are unlikely to find their way back out, at least not in this century.
There’s a sign nearby that just has “they come from here” scrawled on it. No explanation surrounding who “they” is.
College kids occasionally dare each other to drink from the sauce. Few are brave enough to try and those that do report vivid hallucinations of titanous monsters that seem from out of this world. Less lucky individuals may simply turn into sauce itself.
While the substance inside of the pit is mysterious in nature, some spellcasters have found that it makes the perfect ingredient for some finicky spells. The sauce can be bottled and purchased on Amity Road, or less lazy casters will come and collect it themselves.
Every once in a while the sauce will spit out some bones, or even an entire skeleton. Most of the time these are of animals that are now extinct, such as dinosaurs or mammals that have been in there probably since the last ice age. Sometimes no one can identify what the sauce offers, but the local natural history museum displays it nonetheless.
On one occasion the sauce spit out half a sign that just said “Welcome to Wh”. No one knows what it means or how old it is.
Because of these neat bones that sometimes show up, some scientists have attempted expeditions where they try to dig into the sauce to see what they find. None of these attempts have been successful – instead, the sauce swallows them up. Maybe they’ll be spit back out a few thousand years later.
Sometimes those who bend over too far into the pit, try to take some of the sauce, or otherwise disturb the serenity of the area will also be pulled in.
There’s a vendor brave enough to do business out in the middle of the woods right near the sauce. He runs a pita bread stand called “Pit Pockets” and seems to be doing okay for himself even though there’s probably only a couple people a week who go near La Sauce. Somehow he’s almost always nearby and ready with his pitas.

November 18 — The Character Tour
Over the course of his long life and undeath, Bones has been to every corner of the world--multiple times in many cases. As the years dragged on into decades into centuries, memories of those places and their occurrences have faded and melded together. When he hears the name of a place, some memories may surface.
Memories of the United States are loud and punchy. Bustling city streets with buskers and yelling. A brawl in a speakeasy. Whooping targets and beating hoofprints on the desert rock. Low vibrations of an unheard sermon. Would God ever forgive him? He once made a smoked briskit with roasted potatoes and a tangy sauce.
Memories of Brazil are colorful and fleeting. Following tracks in the wet mud of the dense jungle. Mist from a waterfall obscuring his vision. Live music floating through an opened window as he vent the stove. He once marinated a duck in tupuci sauce topped with cashews.
Memories of Egypt are distinct, a singular moment where freedom was realized. Roaming the marketplace with careful eyes. Meeting a familiar face and the shocked disgust of another. Dark tendrils lashing from the shadows, the final cry of a dying animal. The rites performed. He made his accomplice ful medames with hot pita bread.
Memories of China are vague and longstanding. Busy streets and seas of people. Cautious navigation as to not draw the ire. An escaped target, but the one that would complete him. He once made a char siu in a glaze with vegetable fried rice.
Memories of Russia are humbling and turning. Crunching footfalls in snowy steppes, the wind and ice slicing all visibility. A singular cottage devoid of warmth but brimming with laughter. Falling to knees, an admit of defeat. Forgiveness unearned. He made a hearty and thick rabbit stew, though it remained uneaten.
Memories of Romania are burned into him as did the home of the innocents, their blood staining the wood as it turned to ash. Countless victims over countless decades, until another couldn't be brought. A roaring crowd, voices numerous, followed by silence. The night it all happened, he'd made them a sour meatball soup, much of which went cold.
Memories of Germany are violent and turbulent. A hunter's first kill, messy and unclean. Tearing and ripping and gouging and gouging and gouging. An art perfected over years of practice, but the initial stain never washing from his breast pocket. He once made a spatzle to go alongside saubraten lamb. It was unusually rare.
Memories of the United Kingdom are ancient and modern, mixed undetermined. The first time he stepped foot on the polished wood of a ship and the metal interior of an airplane. Meeting a crew just beginning a journey that had long boiled him down to nothing. The opening of the doors to a new life. A family of misfits. Just yesterday he made banana pancakes topped with blueberry maple sauce and a fruit mix.
Memories of Spain are bittersweet and nostalgic. Once the stage for his greatest triumph, a meal for the divine right of kings, whose power seemed insurmountable and eternal. It's a McDonalds last he saw. It had been unending with course after course, but all applauded the arrez con leche, mixed with orange and cinammon and topped with a fine layer of sweet milk.
Memories of France are numerous and sensational. The smell of the lavender fields. Burned flesh on the family stove. Soft fur of the barn cat on his fingertips. Sweet nectar and air filling his lungs as their lips part. The taste, the taste, the taste of foods--any foods, all foods, a love and passion imprinted on a tongue that would one day be haunted with ghosts of flavor.
It is at this point where the memories become too much.
And Bones returns to his work.
#swynwrimo#swynwrimo2024#i liked the idea of this more than the execution but we tried something new!!

Local Restaurants Built on Small Town Charm
Viking Pizza and McGuiggan’s Pub may not share all of the same menu items and follow similar design aesthetics, but they do encompass the same small town charm aspects that attract countless local residents daily. One specializes primarily in takeout serving pizza, salads, sandwiches and calzones and the other stems from Ireland serving comfort pub dishes in a cozy and warm environment. Despite Viking Pizza and McGuiggan’s Pub looking like polar opposites on the outside, they seem to inhabit numerous similar aspects that have turned them into all time towny favorites.
Viking Pizza- 34 Bedford St, East Bridgewater, MA
Located in the center of town, Viking Pizza is a local favorite for all EB residents. This hotspot is named after East Bridgewater’s beloved mascot, The Vikings, and emulates the town’s spirit in every way. For low prices ranging from $10-$20 for a meal, you’ll receive a lot of bang for your buck at Viking. Since 1988, Viking Pizza has made it easy for customers to enjoy their meal in comfort by offering quick delivery and takeout services as well as smaller in person dining options. With pizza being a prominent aspect in their name, it’s no surprise that pizza is their specialty dish.
Viking Pizza offers 36 large specialty pizzas for the appropriate price of $16.95, as well as customizable options, and $3.50 giant slices of any pie you could dream of. Some of their most intriguing pizzas include the California BLT pizza - alfredo sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, tomatoes, bacon, and romaine lettuce with house dressing, as well as the Amore Pizza - white, mozzarella cheese, ricotta, and spinach and artichoke hearts, and their Pizza Spanko - white, mozzarella, cheddar, garlic, chopped spinach, red onion, gyro style beef, black olives and feta cheese crumbles. On top of their perfectly crafted pizzas, Viking offers a variety of calzones, salads, subs, sandwiches, chicken wings, french fries, quesadillas, wraps, gyros, pastas, and beverages. With their lengthy menu, you’re guaranteed to find something you like regardless of allergies or dietary preferences. Viking Pizza is the perfect option when you want an easy meal on the couch, on the go, or out on the town.
Although I love the amazing food Viking has to offer, I value the customer service even more. Like many other East Bridgewater residents, my family and I order takeout and delivery from Viking at least once a week (sometimes even more). Everytime we encounter an employee, they simply exude kindness and respect. Tony Mamouzellos, long time owner of Viking Pizza, even goes out of his way to make relationships with his patrons. Oftentimes, my family and I will have long and meaningful conversations with Mamouzellos when picking up our food, and will find out when we get home that he slipped in extra slices of pizza, calzones, and pockets of pita bread, free of charge. Even though the food at Viking Pizza is absolutely incredible, the staff and their kindness encourages us to keep coming back.
McGuiggan’s Pub - 546 Washington St, Whitman, MA
Inside the heart of Whitman, MA lies a small restaurant that simply exudes charm. McGuiggan’s Pub may be little with only fifteen tables and three hightops, but it is the perfect place to make memories. I can recall visiting the pub after countless dance recitals and birthday celebrations, and sitting down to enjoy the most consistently delicious bar pizza in the world. McGuiggan’s Pub is entirely Irish, from the name to the obsessive interior design. The pub is stacked full of shamrocks that will entice you to sit at the 54 foot mahogany bar and order a traditional Guinness out of their famous ‘boot’ glass. Not to mention, the staff is extremely friendly from the bartenders to the chefs, with two servers working the dining room at all times, and a host that greets you with a smile at the front door. Although, I may have a slight bias as hostessing at McGuiggan’s Pub was my first ever job. However, this provides me with all the more accuracy in my review.
Moving on to the dishes, you’re guaranteed to find at least one meal you like, with a five page long menu. My personal favorite dish of theirs is the classic cheese pizza, which is objectively the perfect size for one customer priced at just $8.75. The sauce to cheese ratio is unmatched by any other nearby pub which makes it a consistent crowd favorite. Another fan favorite is the traditional Irish shepherd’s pie. There’s something enlightening about the mashed potato and minced meat combination that patrons of McGuiggan’s Pub go crazy for, especially for the affordable price of $18.99.
Another interesting aspect of McGuiggan’s is the live music and bingo events they’re constantly holding. Every Friday and Saturday Night, the pub has local singers and bands perform live to bar and restaurant guests which instantly brings the restaurant’s spirits up. Although the performances usually start late at night around 8 or 9 p.m., the bar fills up fast with customers excited to enjoy their meal while receiving live entertainment. Not to mention, Wednesday nights McGuiggan’s holds SINGO competitions, in which an entertainer comes in and hosts bingo games with famous hit songs instead of calling out numbers. In my two years hostessing during SINGO nights, it’s safe to say Wednesdays are extremely packed, and customers of all ages go absolutely crazy for this game. Owner, Richard Rosen, guarantees a different experience at McGuiggan’s Pub than other nearby restaurants with numerous exciting aspects for his customers to enjoy. From the familiar comfort food, to the nightly entertainment and inviting environment, McGuiggan’s Pub is a charming local spot for both food and fun.
Despite only existing in the realm of Plymouth County, Viking Pizza and McGuiggan’s Pub have made a reputation for themselves based on their all around fantastic aspects. Whether you’re trying out the food, looking to socialize, or are in need of a fun night, Viking Pizza and McGuiggan’s Pub are the perfect restaurants for you.
