I made my dog into a Bluey character! Her name is Bella, she’s a pit bull mix! mixed with what, I don’t know. she’s 20-22 inches tall, and I got her from the shelter when was 3 years old. she’s 9 now, and I love her a great deal! 🥰

In Baltimore City, MD: 10 y/o dog-friendly senior lady who still has some pep in her step - BARCS, Baltimore MD

Polly- 10 years, unaltered female, 68lbs

10-year-old sweetheart, Polly, arrived in our care a little over a week ago as a stray. This senior gal is easy on her leash, and doesn't react to other dogs. Despite her age, she has a lot of pep in her step still, and likes to keep moving on the trails. She is very snuggly and she has a favorite spot for her scratches.

When tested off-leash at the shelter, Polly was able to coexist peacefully around other dogs. She didn't really play, but was tolerant and enjoyed handing out with the humans in the yard.

Upon examination, our vets noted that Polly has otitis, moderate periodontal disease, alopecia on her right thigh, suspected degenerative joint disease in the hind limbs, and multiple masses, which are recommended to be removed for biopsy. A full medical summary can be provided upon request.

No senior should spend their days in a shelter, and sweet Polly here is of course no exception. She is available immediately for rescue pick-up.

Reno is my number one dog! He saved me and I saved him. Reno is my rehabilitating dog, he has come so far in the last 4yrs I’ve known him. The last two years he’s become a different dog along with being able to having a sibling in the house. It’s been a rough start to having another dog. It’s getting there! Help from other people is helping.

Recovery on the other hand for me is an up and down process. Progress not perfection. I haven’t been to a meeting in over a week, I’m talking to my sponsor regularly maybe more frequently than I normally do. Which is probably a good thing. I have two sponsees and in my steps just have to go to more meetings

Wake up, new cryptid just dropped!

It’s true that I’ve had to reimagine my day to day life since we got her, but I can’t imagine how we got this lucky. We thought we would have to work to earn her love, but from the moment she entered our house it’s been a cuddlefest, one I couldn’t possibly deny. There are hurdles she will be facing to be sure (and she will still need to meet the cats face to face) but I’m so happy to see this happy lil cheese every day. Welcome home Raclette!

(The couches will always be hers, even if it means she does try to smush whatever I’m working on at the time!)

lots of working on oc designs today! the wolves were proto-nick designs but as much as i liked the shapes for that i just was not vibing so i switched directions and made him a dog cuz i was feeling that way more. the tiger and lioness r the starter ideas for dominics partner/s. kinda digging the lioness but definitely early stages w that tiger, i like his shape but the stripes werent designed to be that replicable and im not there yet with the colors

That’s my grandma with her. She did really well at our Christmas family gathering. It’s been cold and we haven’t gotten out much between frigid temps and winter storms, but she’s been really well behaved and taking it all in stride. She wants to be with us all the time. She will go to bed when asked, and follows all her commands like a very good girl. She pisses off her Aussie brothers quite regularly, lol, because they’re just a tad old for her puppy shenanigans. But she really is shaping into such a sweet companion. I’m grateful every day to still have a little bully girl who likes to cuddle.
