I've been working more on that Espilver fic with Silver From A Good Future This Time, and I've refound the joy of just... having random ideas for little snippets here and there that will eventually become full chapters, haha.

The main theme I want to focus on this time within the fic itself is stories, I feel like. How people's stories intertwine, how stories come and go and have a start and end, how Silver has been rewriting his own story and what will happen in that uncertainty. I'm curious if I can incorporate it well!

Been watching Pirates of Caribbean clips, and now I have a Sonic Pirates AU in my head! Sonic would be a perfect Jack Sparrow! Here's some other ideas for characters.

Silver as Will Turner

Blaze as Elizabeth Swan

Eggman as Barbossa (though I love the irony of Eggman Nega doing the wedding scene)

Naugus as Davy Jones

Rough & Tumble as Pintel & Ragetti

Tails and Knuckles sharing Gibbs' role

That's about all I can think of. I really want Amy in this, but it's hard thinking of a role that would suit her.

Silver was born to a poor family in the Soleanna countryside. They limped along for a few years, but the crops they tried to grow grew thinner and thinner. They gave what they could to Silver, which unfortunately meant they starved to death. Silver was three years old when both his parents died. He was taken in by various people, but he was a challenge most people didn’t want to deal with because of his mage abilities. Because he was so stressed  out and dealing with the grief and trauma of losing his parents at such a young age, his powers were pretty destructive. So he went from person to person, which didn’t help and just gave him abandonment issues on top of it because he would get attached to people quickly. Eventually he ended up in the capital city of Soleanna, where he finally just… didn’t go to the next person. He was so tired of getting hurt over and over again that he decided being homeless was a better alternative. Luckily, Princess Blaze, the ruler of Soleanna, found him on one of her expeditions out of the palace and took pity on him at first. She gave him food, told the guards to bring him back to the palace and make sure he was comfortable. He was not allowed in the same areas as the princess, nor was he allowed to be in the kitchens. But he was allowed a correspondence with her Highness. They bonded through words and tried to help each other the best they could. After a while, Blaze allowed him to join her for meals and walks in the courtyard. It wasn’t long before they fell for each other. Silver asked her to marry him, knowing it was a long shot. She refused, thinking it was unwise to marry a commoner. Shortly afterward, Blaze left for South Island on a diplomatic venture to offer condolences to Kintobor. However, Kintobor killed her entourage, and Silver heard he killed her as well, leaving him heartbroken. Soleanna tried to invade South Island in retaliation for killing their monarch, but due to spies and Shadow’s privateering, they were unable to do so. Silver joined the Navy and worked his way through the ranks, earning the rank of commander and going out to sea to seek revenge.

This whole fic is suuuper wholesome and well written and each chapter focuses in a different relationship between two Sonic characters ✨I highly recommend their work! they are also writing the coolest sonic pirate AU fic i've ever seen so pls check it out!!!

Sonic who wants to watch Wreck-It Ralph because he’s in it and things go fast

Amy Rose who wants to watch Sleeping Beauty because it’s “romantic” and “beautiful” but also so she can wait until the dragon scene and then start blasting “What I’m Made Of” and scare the shit out of everyone

Silver “was left alone in a barren wasteland for far longer than he wants to admit and honestly probably longer than he can remember who ends up finding one last bit of hope and who wants to live out his fantasy of bringing life back to his planet and seeing society grow around him as he finds a family of his own” the Hedgehog who wants to watch WALL-E. he’ll also settle for Lightyear he guesses

Cream who wants to watch Snow White because pretty princess sing to animals and spin around

Sally “the heir to an entire kingdom with some severe dead dad issues who ends up on the run as a child only to return and find her kingdom decimated by someone she once trusted who now has to raise a rebellion with her childhood sweetheart to dethrone the usurper and retake the land before he can destroy the entire environment” Acorn who wants to watch The Lion King

Vector who wants to watch The Great Mouse Detective and say “that’s what we do. we do that”

oh and Jet wants to watch Aladdin too but that’s just because he thinks stealing things is funny

Merlina actually does not want to watch Sword in the Stone it makes her uncomfortable however she will BITE someone if they don’t watch Coco next

Super Silver, Knuckles the Dread, Thorn Rose to debut in new Sonic Forces Mobile events

SEGA HARDlight, the developers of Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, shadowdropped new characters ahead of three scheduled in-game events throughout June and July 2023.

Speed Battle players will have an opportunity to collect cards of Knuckles the Dread and Thorn Rose from Sonic Prime, as well Special cards of Silver the Hedgehog's super form.

Knuckles the Dread

Knuckles the Dread, the Angel's Voyage captain, joins the battle! Unlock him in his brand-new event ‘Knuckles the Dread’!

Here are the in-game statistics for the pirate captain, Knuckles the Dread, scheduled to appear between 15 to 22 June 2023.

Fireball: Put the heat on the opponent in front of you with this ball of flame.

Invincibility: Run faster, safe in the knowledge that nothing can harm you. Just don't fall off the track!

Broadside: Summon a line of cannons and fire away to destroy your rivals!

Knuckles the Dread will be equipped with a speed and strength stat of 8/10, and an acceleration stat of 5/10.

Super Silver

Super Silver is charged up! With the ultimate power and unlimited energy, he is ready for battle! Join the event to gain Special cards for Super Silver!

Next, the in-game stats for Silver the Hedgehog's super form, scheduled to appear between 22 to 29 June 2023.

Whirlwind: Puts the wind up your opponents and steals Rings as it spins.

Super Form: After collecting enough Gold Rings, transform into Super Form and blast down the track at incredible speeds!

Tornado: Send your opponents into a spin and pocket any Rings they drop.

Super Silver will be equipped with a speed, acceleration, and strength stat of 6/10.

Thorn Rose

Thorn Rose, the defender of the jungle joins the battle! Unlock her in the brand-new event ‘Thorn Rose’!

Last but not least, here's the in-game stats for Thorn Rose, scheduled to appear between 13 to 20 July 2023.

Hammer Slam: Catch-up to your rivals with a short-sharp boost, then slam your hammer to blast them with a powerful pink wave of slow-you-down!

Jungle Run: A rapid boost which leaves behind brambles to trip up your rivals. Charge this up to drop even more!

Lilytrap: Opponents will have to time their approach just right or they'll be blasted into the sky by a jet of water!

Thorn Rose will be equipped with a speed stat of 7/10, an acceleration stat of 6/10, and a strength stat of 9/10.
