I am such a huge horse nerd and I apologize. :( But I’m really tired of seeing girths that are halfway down a horse’s stomach. This may not be interesting to anyone who is not me, but I like to draw fancy saddles and ridiculously long shanks on bits. Also, horses are the only animal I can draw, so I take advantage of that.

I hope this helps some frustrated non-horsey artists in at least some small way. Remember, when in doubt, add some buckles and some rings. :)

Do you think Eggman would create a national anthem for his Eternal Egg Empire? What would his anthem be about? Would he force people and robots to stand for it?

What do you think would be the penalty for refusing to stand?

Absolutely! It would be about how brilliant he is and how powerful and eternal the empire is, of course. Every word would be asserting and praising his power and genius and the glory of his empire and how it is vast, global, and inescapable. It would talk of the joy, power, and beauty of a world owned and ruled by a handsome mighty emperor

But the people don't mean what they sing, they feel miserable and powerless and every word only reminds them of their despair. It's a perfect dark twisted utopia only for his own selfish self and for everyone else it's a dark painful dystopia. An anthem of enthusiasm and joy for him is just a reminder of their pain and suffering in this dark new world

They're forced to stand and line up and sing as Eggman stands high above on a podium. Behind and around every living being not encased in metal yet, a row of robots are armed and ready. Held at gunpoint, sometimes by former family and friends now encased in robots/robotomized, forcing them to sing and praise him or be shot

And if any end up really going out of the way to try to purposefully disrupt it in bigger more daring ways than just not singing with actual disruptions, Eggman will have them brought onto the stage and brutally executed in front of everyone else. It works as a useful little warning of what happens if they dare to not respect their emperor ;)

A painting with the intent to print as a cool lenticular card/ regular print… we'll see how that goes ^^" Streamed this one 2 days ago at like 3 in the morning lol This and another design that I'm coloring now

Just a quick animation test - not sure what I wanna do with my art for a while so testing all type of stuff and seeing where it gets me.

I wanted to show some progress for it as I prepared all frames based on one sketch:

I didn't plan it more than that. Right now I would probably use one type of stroke lines, or made up some sort of 3D model cheat sheets, to make sure where his quilts should follow...

The frames are a bit colourful bc I used base frame to highlight it asdfghjkl

I used gradients to colour him so the program didn't take it well when converting it to gif... Probably using the frames from original scans was also a bad idea - at the end it would be best if I would extract lineart from each frame and turn it into fully black lines, but that's a note for the future. (Probably if making animation gifs I should be careful on how many colours I use... I will try to keep that in mind but I am sure my mind will forget asdfghjk)

I aaalso tried to make a videooo of how I drew the fraaamesss...

Finally finished Shadows new design! The shark design is no longer part of the au. Instead he's an eldritch octopus beast that usually sleeps at the bottom of the ocean. The only thing that makes him happy is a dumb blue fish who likes to be yap about everything jdwkdk

The au is getting a revamp and will mostly be sonadow but a side of evil sonegg cuz my friends bullied me-

Anyway have fun with these heheheh plus a bonus stream doodle~
