Interesting in Winx that it is not their primary colors but their secondary colors that relate to their power (except for Stella, but I'll get to that later).

Bloom's primary color is blue, but her secondary color is gold like fire.

Stella's primary color is orange, like her sun powers, and her secondary color is pale blue, like her moon powers. However, Stella almost exclusively uses her sun powers. She is also shown to apparently be a lot closer to her sun-powered father than her moon-powered mother. Maybe her outfits favoring the sun color is in relation to her favoring her sun powers.

Flora's primary color is pink, but her secondary color is plant green.

Aisha/Layla's primary color is green, but her secondary color is morphix pink/purple.

Tecna's primary color is purple, but her secondary color is computer code green.

I'm not sure there's an established music or sound related color for Musa. Is there a color you associate with music?

My guess is that their primary colors are colors they favor, either because it's their favorite color, or a color they think they look good in, etc.
