Jake and Y/N were currently in the same room. Jake shifts his position, looking over at Y/N as she texts. He tilts his head, trying to get a good view of the device in her hands "Who are you texting?" 

Y/N rolls her eyes as she tilts the phone away from him, continuing to press her fingers onto the screen. “No one,” she says teasingly as she sticks out her tongue at him. She was texting no one in particular, but she enjoyed his current reaction. How close he was to her-

Jake's eyebrows raise at her reaction, leaning forward a little more. He reaches his hand out to grab onto the phone, but Y/N was quick to react. She slaps his hand away. “Nuh uh, why would I give you my phone?” she says sassily, tapping onto the screen once again. He sighs, shrugging at her reaction. “Who are you texting? Your boyfriend?” he giggles, trying to catch her off guard with the question.

Y/N tilts her head at his question, “Jealous much?” she giggles, playing along with him. She fakely smiles at him. Jake leans closer, as she curls herself onto the couch. He was hovering on top of her, his heart beating slightly rising as he looked down at her. Jake chuckles, sending a shiver down her spine, “Does he make your heart flutter?” he asks her, referring to the ‘guy’ on her phone. She removes her gaze from the screen, looking up at him. Y/N had not noticed how close he was to her, her cheeks tinting in pink. Her eyes slightly widened, turning her head away. Jake had noticed this, and slowly inches himself towards her. He gently places his slender fingers under her chin, forcing her to look over at him. Jake looks deeply into her eyes, scanning for emotions. Y/N couldn’t contain herself anymore, as her face started to redden like a tomato. She tried to dig inside of her mind for words, but her mind was blank. She ended up stammering instead, “wa- I-”

Jake’s face was only an inch away from hers now, and contemplated kissing her. He had felt this way for a long time, never really finding the perfect opportunity to do so. He could also feel the heat rising in his face, slowly pressing his body onto hers, relaxing himself. Y/N’s eyes widen, looking deep into his eyes. He could tell that she wanted this too.

“Y/N,” Jakes voice comes out as a low mumble, the warmth of his breath slowly blowing onto her lips. Her eyes divert down to his lips, then back to his eyes. Jake pulls her closer, finally pressing his soft lips against hers.  Y/N’s body stiffens, her eyes shut tight. She starts to snake her arms around him, unexpectedly, melting under him. Her heart rate rockets, his breathing becoming rapid against hers. For a few moments, both of them freeze into the kiss. Jake seems to follow along, pressing his body against hers as he places a hand on her waist.

Jake was the first to depart, looking lovingly into her eyes as his other hand made its way towards her face. He caresses her face, “You're so cute,” he giggles.

Given power rangers has alter reality kids and grandkids for Kim and Tommy now I wanna do a series to make up oc kids for Kim and Kat for everyone they were dating or popular ships for them. I’ve got a couple for Kim so I’m just gonna spitball a few with the canon lol

Canon Kimberly Hart child;

Tommy Oliver:

Olivia Hart, possibly aged 21, green ranger. Information to be added.

Oc Grandkids:

Although Tommy died long before he could really get to see his daughter grow up, she did and she’s thriving. She never got married, she did have two kids. One adopted one not, but the other parent doesn’t matter-at least, they’re not at the age that it matters yet and she’s not going to contend with the fact the baby may or may not be a demigod. Theo, aged twelve, and Clover, eight months, love their mom and grandma. At least Theo does. Clover’s just a baby and generally loves everyone who holds her. Adopted at two, Theo knows about power rangers, knows about his mom being one, knows his grandparents were. Doesn’t particularly care aside from the fact his family helps people. Theo reads a lot, and draws, and helps his mom take care of things. She’s trying to run a small business while also being a Green Ranger, and Theo when he’s home from school is used to juggling school work and babysitting. His only hard me time days are the weekends, when he’s got little league baseball or chess. Olivia supports and understands this, and so far she and Kim have attended every single game and tournament. Has bashed putties in their faces in defense of Clover, before. He got a cake for that one. Privately Olivia knows Tommy loves these two, if he’s watching. And she’s certain he is.

Neither Theo nor Clover are associated with a color nor do I see them ever becoming associated with a color.

OC Children of Kimberly Hart;

Farkas Bulkmeier;

Chloe Bulkmeier-Hart, aged 19, pink ranger. Au that will be animated, Kim and Farkas waited to have kids and actually Chloe was a bit of a surprise baby. Best friends with Tommy and Kat’s oldest grandson. Was a good ranger, became brainwashed and is a villainous ranger. Her love interest is a vampire named Iva Song. She is pastel goth with a deep love of frills and spikes, deep pinks and velvety blacks and poofy skirts and dresses and combat boots. She's got an inordinate amount of knowledge on ancient battle tactics, and how to hotwire a motorcycle. Both things she learned from her parents. She has a lovely singing voice. She is five foot four, and is a bottle rocket of doom. While she's had a crush on Iva since they were tiny, she never knew he seriously reciprocated until much much later. She's able to shake the mind control when she's-gasp-forced to go undercover as a punk. Trading her dresses for miniskirts? Respectfully, no.

Tangential Coinless au, bur she’s a newborn and Billy and Drakkon’s clones Bit and Tom become her babysitters. Her godmother is Sharkie and her godfather is Eugene Skullovitch.

Eugene Skullovitch;

Stormy Hart, aged seventeen. Her parents are separated. Despite the rocky start with Eugene being Kim’s rebound, they got together again after the Candace Incident. Kim progressed on Eugene’s terms, and they had a kiddo right as they were applying for colleges. It was a bit difficult and they made it work, but when Stormy was seven they finally had to separate, though they’re not on bad terms. Stormy is Spike’s half sister, and has her own band. Has anxiety and depression. Doesn’t spend time with brother or Bulk, at least as much as she should. Mostly for her appearance. Got extremely jealous of Spike over the power rangers thing though! She generally lives with her mom, not her dad, hence why she doesn’t spend time with Spike. She loves her goofy half brother but she’s at the age where her image is important to her. She doesn’t have any colors associated with her.

Stan Skullovitch;

Kimmie Skullovitch-Trueheart. Aged 20. She is the alternate version of Dr. K. The one that wasn’t stolen from school and her parents. In the same reality as Chloe. Kim offered to be the surrogate mother when she was around 27 years old. She had long discussions with them, and they made it happen.

In a tangential reality she and Stan got together while he was on tour and she was finishing college, and Kimmie has two famous parents. One in biotech and Olympic gymnastics and one as a rockstar. In this reality Kimmie is a purple ranger.

And then of course Dr K, yes my headcanon is she’s a Skullovitch somehow, and I adore her being Kim’s too

Matthew Cook;

Kelson Hart. Aged 21. Older Twin brother to Kira Hart. Kim’s a single parent, raised her kids mostly on the run after Matthew died when they were four, but she and Matt never got married. More of a friends with benefits thing, off and on until she got pregnant with twins. Kelson has nothing to do with his family. Intergalactic diplomat at 21. Does not live on earth, but shows up every Christmas. He is not associated with any color. He blames power rangers for a lot of his family and planet problems actually. He loves his mom and sister and family, but he can’t bypass their glaringly massive differences in opinions.

Kira, aged 21, younger twin sister to Kelson, green ranger on SPD B Team. She’s often her brothers body guard when he’s on earth for official business, but they bicker constantly when they actually speak to each other outside of work. He blames the power rangers for everything, she thinks he’s an idiot. The reason Kim was on the run in the first place was an unreformed Zedd heard about the kids and as Matt used to work for him, decided those kids were his, actually. As payment. Matt died killing Zedd. That wasn’t power rangers fault, that was Zedd’s fault.

Zedd;

Specifically not serious bur she almost got married to him so that eventual resulting Eltaran human hybrid is named Zinnia, he’s 26. Zedd’s dead and Kim is a grand empress. Nobody blames Kim for murdering him, however she’s gone a bit nuts. Zinnia is a freedom fighter against his own mother. He’s a gold ranger.

Trini Kwan;

Forgot to add the ladies last night but y’know, only fair. So.

Hart Linh Xian, aged 16. Xian is the younger half sister of Minh and Olivia. When Tommy disappeared Trini did as well, however a few years after Tommy. She and Kim got close shortly after Minh was born, and later got married. Soon after they had a daughter of their own with the help of in vitro fertilization procedures. Trini later died in a freak accident fighting a villain, and Kim withdrew completely with her daughters. Xian’s a pink ranger to Olivia’s green and Minh’s yellow. She’s the one braincell in the sister group, and a fair balance of her sister’s personalities. Still figuring herself out, trying to do Kim proud while also struggling to figure out how to honor Trini’s memory.

Kat Hillard;

Echo Hart-Hillard. Aged 20. They were not raised by Their moms, at first. Dark Spectre used magic to make a child from the dna of the two most fearsome pink rangers he could think of, and then had said child trained. Echo first met Tommy, fresh out of divorce with his second wife Kim, and almost they killed him. He managed to talk them down and it was Zack and Billy showing up in back up who realized who Echo even was. Kim and Kat were good friends, but it was the then twelve year old assassin who inadvertently got them together. Echo’s non-binary and very very good at murder. Not associated with any color. This is probably a good thing. Specter was intending them for psycho silver, but Echo’s glad they’re not a ranger, at least for now. They got to be ring bearer at their moms wedding. Specter is still pissed he’s lost control of the murder child, and moms and teenager are currently hiding out under assumed names. They move around a lot just because Echo still finds it difficult to not solve all their problems via murder. And can’t shake the habit of calling the psycho rangers their aunts and uncles. It’s been rough but they’re happy with their moms.

Jason Lee Scott;

When Kim and Jason both stopped being rangers, there was a…growing pain, reacclimating to normal civilian teen life, to be sure. With Jason also coming off the heels of having just buried his mom. Kim and Jason spun their wheels for a bit trying to get around the awkward and be there for each other. Eventually it settled into a devoted romance. They have two daughters. Kristine Alana Scott-Hart, aged 21, and Jenny Rose Scott-Hart, aged 17.

Kristine is planning on going into NASA, fascinated by the stars and the adventures of her parents but more interested in the very close by solar system. She’d like to explore Mars, Neptune, Pluto, rather than anything farther. Her reasoning is the ocean is on the planet and barely explored, in lieu of more interesting subjects. Their neighboring planets are a bit like the ocean, and she’s keen on seeing what secrets they hold first, before anything else. She’s been told if she sees a dumpster however, don’t for the love of the grid open the stupid thing. Nobody wants to know what ancient space warlord’s inside. Somehow managed to be more science minded than fight minded, and Kim and Jason don’t know how that happened but they love their kid anyway. Billy thinks it’s hilarious.

She has a fairly easy going relationship with her parents. She can tell them things and they trust her. Not associated with a color, and gets along well with her sister, who is.

Jenny Rose is going to be a kickboxing champion. She decided this at five years old and it’s never changed. She’s a violinist and a kickboxer, and uses the dichotomy to confuse people constantly. Would rather get in the ring with someone than date them. She’s the pink ranger of her team. It’s a little confusing until someone listens to her coaching the putties on how to kick better, and then it starts making sense. When she’s older, she wants to own a dojo and run self defense sessions and kickboxing classes for teens and kids. It’s always surprising to people, but she gets along well with her sister.

Aisha Campbell;

They quickly became fast friends, and Aisha caught feelings for the pink really really quickly. However, she didn't say anything until Kim left the rangers and was replaced by Kat. She was going on scholarship, and they started a long distance relationship. Eventually they got married after Aisha herself retired from rangerdom. Together with Anubis Cruger, they founded SPD. The wives have one son, a wild card named Benedict "Ben" Campbell. Aged 24. Benedict is currently in Ranger Academy, and has broken nearly every rule so far. Just for fun, just to see what'll happen. He's not a bad guy, he just simply wants to test limits. Of both himself and the world around him. When he graduates school he will be a Pink Ranger on D Team.

Jake: Definitely a bully kind of character like Roadhog or the hamster (Wrecking Ball) he starts screaming when he doesn’t get play of the game and kinda bosses his team around

Elwood: His attack style is do some damage and then hide so he prefers Symmetra, but sometimes Moira, or Torbjorn if he’s feeling tough

Murph: He usually is Kiriko bc he likes to be support but also plays D.va bc Jake yelled at him to be a tank when they were losing one time and he liked her pretty pink aesthetic

Alan/Mr Fabulous: He is a master Widowmaker he scores headshots left and right. If he feels like being someone else (which is extremely rare) He’ll pick Hanzo. He also spams the I need healing button just to be an ass. He relishes every opportunity to shut down Jake while he’s ulting

Matt: STRICT Mercy Main. He is the ultimate Mercy main. If you asked him to pick someone else he’d laugh at you. Gets like 20,000 healing and 40 assists per game

Willie: A pro at annoying characters but his usual choice is Sombra. He also likes to terrorize with Mei, Tracer, and Genji

Bones: LOVES being Ana. Is a total master of the sleep dart and has had quite a few things thrown at him because of it. He also just prefers to be support

Duck: Doesn’t really care for overwatch so he picks Moira bc she’s the easiest. (Who doesn’t like moira she’s sexy as hell) Or he’ll pick Cassidy because he’s a rootin tootin cowboy

Blue Lou: He really digs Zenyattas vibes but he also likes to heal AND kick ass. But he’s willing to give any hero a try really. Like sometimes he’ll be Zarya or Lucio, or maybe even Reaper. He really doesn’t give a damn who he picks he just likes to play the game

Steve: Good ol Steve is pretty basic he’s most often either Pharah or Soldier 76. He likes to fly around with her rockets. And he likes being Soldier because he’s a gay american (just like him fr❤️) Sometimes he likes to play with Bastion just for funsies

i’m so drama averse i also hate hurting people’s feelings (though i’m the first to make a sassy comment it’s either lighthearted/in good fun or to someone who genuinely deserves it) so my default is just running away HAHAHA luckily we ended up going to different universities so it was pretty easy to transition out of friendship

shinah is like a back burner man…he’ll always be there for me when i need him but he’s not forefront in my mind yk?? and yeah gege gave a surprising amount of depth to panda given what he is SDFHSLKD meanwhile inumaki was left with nothing 😭 i wish he had given inumaki an alternative way of talking that wasn’t ingredients like sign language or smth!! although i can see how drawing sign language might be difficult but like what’s stopping him from carrying around a whiteboard and a marker?? that would maintain the silliness while also allowing for more serious moments (kind of like his reaction to tullia’s death in pi — not a single “salmon” was dropped because it would completely ruin the vibe of the scene, but he still couldn’t talk so i made him write on a piece of paper which i ended up really liking as it still posed challenges for him in communication [such as y/n refusing to read what he wrote at first] without taking away his agency completely)

LMAOOO fanon shidou is just so perfect as a description for her it’s hilarious SDLHJFSLDJK but yeah i was specifically talking about season one of the anime (i only picked up the manga in between s1 and s2) in the fight against itadori and nanami right after junpei dies he has some very pretty scenes i can’t even lie HAHA but he also has a LOT of deranged/hideous ones so for the most part megumi and yuta stayed as my boys

yeahhh that’s what i was thinking like indigo league is just all of them being deranged (not just the main trio but gary, prof oak, team rocket…all of them were insane) even his pokémon had sm more personality (the de-sassification of pikachu is tragic) whereas alola just gives me sanitized vibes plus the colors are too bright and i think the art style is too round?? the earlier seasons had a completely diff art style that was just typical of the time instead of being purposefully childish yk…XY REWATCH AFTER BLLK S2 DARE I SAY???

- Jay’s kids are naturally ridiculously spoiled, and his two youngest, Violet and Ruby are no exception

- They’re both daddy’s girls, which to you can sometimes be an absolute nightmare

- Even as they get older, it’s one bat of an eyelid and its ‘yes I will absolutely do that for you’

- They’re just his little princesses and they know it

- When they were little, they would literally scheme and think of ways to beat their poor dad

- the members definitely love teasing him with the pictures of him dressed like a fairy princess or singing along to whatever Disney movie Yeeun is fixated on but he doesn’t care because his girl is happy

- Yeeun being an only child loves the both of you so much

- More than anything, she loves to cuddle and be close to Sunoo

- She has managed to sneak her way into your bed at night more times that she should

OK, this took me a while... Here’s the result:

#13: Team Flare grunts:

Kill me please.

#10: Team Rocket Grunt (RBY):

Folks didn’t even bother to design a girl grunt... I understand it was the first grunt design so all right, it’s very basic... And it didn’t change much later on, it’s true. But like... I’m not a fan of those boots and the whip...

#11: Team Plasma grunts (BW):

Would probably be 10x better without that hood in my personal opinion. I like the bottom part but I don’t really like the tops. Also that dude’s hair... I gotta add that this is totally not a bad desing, I recognize it’s overall pretty good, I just don’t like it.

#10: Team Rocket grunts (FRLG,HGSS):

Counting those as the same because the only big difference is the hair color and I like both. I think they improved the boots a lot and I like the colorful hair. ^^

#9: Team Rainbow Rocket grunts:

Not a huge difference from standard Rocket grunts, but the rainbow R adds some extra points. I also like the girl’s hair, it’s more similar to the FR/LG one, but it’s a bit more “messy”, I like it.

#8: Team Aqua grunts (RSE):

They are not bad, they have the “pirate” look to them, but I think they are a bit simple, specially compared to their counterpart Magma grunts... Not a super fan of their trousers. They are a water-type focused team, and like... long loose pants get soaked and unbearable when wet. Imagine them walking on the beach or near any body of water with those babies... Nope.

#7: Team Magma grunts (ORAS):

I mean, I like the Magma hoodies with the two little horns, it’s cute, and unlike the Plasma hoodies, they leave some extra space around the hair which makes me enjoy the resulting shape. But I think designers kinda messed up with the dark red parts on Team Magma’s re-design overal, and I’m talking about Maxie too. These guys hang around VOLCANOES. In a HOT region. I mean, why would they wear that thing? It looks thick! It looks like wool or something... Just looking at them makes me feel dizzy because it must be so hot... I gotta admit that I like the girls’t shorts though, I like it when shorts look lie skirts.

#6: Galactic Grunts:

The only reason they got so high on the list is their hair, I just love their stupid cute hair. I love it. That aside, honestly... There is not really so much to it. I think Team Galactic was going for some “astronaut-like” look or something? I suppose? And it makes sense with the name of their Team... But well, It looks a bit random considering they don’t have any goal to leave the planet or anything. They earn points for having clothes that cover their whole bodies while living in a very cold region! The long sleeves and the leggings, the high colars, those are very apropriate. Maybe they could have gloves? But well, can’t have everything. XD

#5: Team Yell grunts:

OK... You guys made it to top 5, but stil, I have stuff to criticize. Normally, if I hadn’t seen the game, I would have put these guys before in the list because, even though I don’t like it when designs are too plain, these folks are TOO complex for my taste... BUT I’ve taken into account that they are 1- punks, so they have this complex aesthetic and (more importantly) 2- fans cheering on an event. The banners, the face paint... these things make sense in that context. Also, the fact that they have a fat grunt and a girl with really short hair add to their desings in my opinion!

#4: Team Magma grunts (RSE):

That looks better than the new designs. It’s complex enough, it has a strong personality, it’s pretty unique... The colors are elegant. I like it that the girls have long hair because girl grunts always have that same length of hair, so when they change it I find it cool. I don’t like their boots much? But it’s not like the new ones are any better, so whatever. I really like the little... shoulder capes... that their hoods have... Sorry I have no idea what those are called. I like them though.

#3: Team Aqua grunts (ORAS):

While the Magma grunts in my opinion got worse, I think they improved the Aqua grunts quite a lot! ^^ I like their “scrappy” look, like the thorn clothes, and I like their stupid socks. Yeah, their socks could get annoyingly wet, like their pants... But these boots really look like they will protect their feet from humidity. Also, the socks look sorta... “shiny”... So I’m guessing the material is something more like a swimsuit? I also like the striped tops being blue while the bandannas are black, I think it looks better. The only thing that makes me really sad is that they changed the girl’s hair color to brown... I liked when they had red hair, because of that “magma grunt has blue hair and aqua grunt has red hair” thing. Also, like... not everyone has to have the exact same hair and skin color in a team??? Please??? 

#2: Team Plasma grunts (B2W2):

They just straight up look awesome. I like their vests. They kinda resemble cops but also... ninjas? I don’t know I just think they are neat OK? They kept it simple but cool-looking, and like... that’s not so easy to achieve when folks are literally wearing a spandex suit and no pants! The contrast between them and the old Plasma grunts is unbelievable! Also, the boy grunt still has that same silly hair, but it just looks a lot better with that cap.

#1: Team Skull grunts:

Peak performance, congrats, Guzma. I think they nailed it in terms of climate appropriate while still playing around this... “street gangster-like” look that usually involves a lot of black and loose clothes. I think the girls could have more loose tops, instead of skin-tight, but that’s ok. Their caps are adorable, and I like how they combine with the... thing... the fabric thing over their mouth (vocabulary missing sorry) to make a skull! Also, FINALLY SOME DIFFERENT HAIR COLORS!!! OK, they did go for the old “blue is for boys and pink is for girls” thing, but still, I like that they gave each grunt a different hair color because they never do that. And well, I love both pink and blue. Also, look at the floofy-ness in that girl’s hair! The lengh is a bit longer than the usual grunt and it’s so poofy and lovely! Also, what’s that on the boy grunt’s head? Is that some short curly hair I see? That’s awesome! Yeah, I’d say they are my favorite design. ^^

Anyways, this is all my personal opinion, based mostly on my personal taste and not on any objective notions of “good or bad design”. It’s just my personal preference. :3
