Sometimes when I get obsessed and hyperfixating on a book or show and the characters have a specific food or beverage they get associated with, I tend to start wanting that food or beverage too. Like, a few years ago when I was living in Glasgow and started reading Torchwood fics and listening to the Big Finish audios, I would crave pizza all the time (cause they always get pizza at the Hub, you know).
Right now I'm into RWRB and Henry keeps going on about Jaffa Cakes. As far as I know, the actual brand Jaffa Cakes can't be found outside of the UK, but in continental Europe you can find Pim's. I know in France they're Lu biscuits, here in Spain I've found them as Fontaneda, but they're the same as the Lu Pim's I've always bought in France. And like, the thing is, Pim's are a huge part of my childhood, and still one of my favourite biscuits today.
So, yeah. Currently walking home with 3 packs of Pim's in my bag (2 raspberry, 1 orange - I know Jaffa Cakes are traditionally orange flavoured, but I prefer raspberry Pim's), and I already had two packs this week only.
The hyperfixation is definitely out of control.
