These days it’s primarily a plain pencil brush/ lasso tool (all with anti alias off) and then Kyle Webster rough comics 2017 for sketching and occasional line detail. This one literally was all just with the pencil/lasso if you zoomed in close it’s all pixely. Then I overlay different texture images

Kyle Webster Megapack -- Rough Comics 2017 for lines

for flat coloring I use a basic round pencil tool + the lasso/marquee tools with anti alias turned off

For texture I use retro supply co and true grit texture supply distressor brushes set on clear/erase

Heard of this webcomic called Pompom? It's made by a user called Z-t00n, I recommend it. I think you would draw a nice Johnny, Bones, and Pompom. (Johnny is the ventriloquist doll looking fella with the makeup, Bones is the skeleton with the sunglasses, and Pompom is the little clown guy btw)
