Наконец-то я ее поймала! На быстрой реке, огромную зубастую щуку весом почти 8 кг и длиной 100 см! Я думала, что не справлюсь, сломается спиннинг, она заведет в коряги или просто сойдет...но у меня получилось и запомню это момент на всю жизнь! Простой будний день, я на воде в своем каяке. 

Сперва решила сделать ставки на резину, однако характе�� реки и места заставляли то и дело менять приманки в поисках рабочей. Сработала простая серебристая блесна. Поводок флюорокарбон 0.4 мм. Спиннинг CF Arion в росте 2.44. Поклевка была ожидаемой и, уже при монтаже видео, я увидела, как на предшествующих поклевке забросах щука пыталась атаковать приманку, создавая огромную волну против течения. 

Мне повезло, что я не стаяла в траве, а не на якоре и трофейная щука повезла меня вниз по течению, пытаясь раскрутить  в разные стороны лодку, летая под ней и открывая пасть с надеждой сойти. На берегу оказался рыбак, который помог взвесить добычу - 7.84 кг завесила щука. 

 После поимки хищника, я решила существенно сократить путь своего сплава, однако и на следующем участке реки снова и снова получила поклевки! Закончился день походной баней и вкусным ужиным на сковороде из диска бороны. Всем приятного просмотра и ни хвоста ни чешуи!

Might consider Wel's catfish for RiverClan predators as well. They're invasive pretty much everywhere, can EASILY get large enough to eat a cat (in a big enough body of water, maybe more of a general lake danger than river specific), and are aggressive opportunists. Also they terrify me conceptually.
