Just spreading my pielope and pochi sibling agenda, i know there's no backing in canon but pochi and pielope both being raised by MAIK as siblings? (MAIK is the "mother") sigh me UP

WEC ask here. What do you think happened to the Weenifier after Pielope threw it into the ocean? Is it just sitting at the bottom, randomly shooting and shrinking fish? Are the Go-Getters gonna discover millions of shrunken fish like, ten years later or something?

I imagine the Weenifier probably shorted out and stopped working once it hit the water, just like most electronics. Salt water is particularly destructive to such things. But that's hardly the most entertaining option... it's more fun to imagine that, after life returns to normal, Japan's massive seafood industry becomes infatuated with the newest trend in micro-squid and mini-sharks.

I spent most of the game highly suspicious of the whole "Weenifier" exchange. I figured there was some reason why we never get to see it in action. My theories were that they were either teasing a moment when the device would come back to haunt us later, or they were setting up a later reveal that they were never actually shrunk and the "Weenifier" was a lie for some reason. After all, if DRV3 has taught us anything, it's that the only verifiable truths in these stories are the things you witness for yourself.

Once I finished World's End Club and the Weenifier never came up again, I realized that I probably wasn't supposed to think that hard about it. It's really just a joke. :)
