#Resharing from #mystory … Today is the last day of my #PictureFragments #exhibition. 🔶🔸🔶🔸🔶🔸🔶🔸🔶🔸🔶 A little late, I know but #Windrush #Celebration day at @thecurveslough_culture_library was great to be part of (although I wouldn’t choose to display my art with bunting lol it was an interesting visual; it’s good to see the #countries represented from which people made the #journey to the #UK, that helped lead the way for generations after like my parents and many “immigrants” / #Expats). #Goodenergy. #Dance (there was even a toddler with a pacifier doing all the moves)!! #Education, #Celebration , #WindrushGeneration #Windrushday

I’ll be there this Sat from 1.30pm to talk art. ☺ 🔸🔶🔸🔶🔸#reshare My art is on exhibition at @thecurveslough_culture_library for the month of June. It means a lot to me to contribute to local culture, and reconnect to my beginnings (after taking part in a Slough Museum show many moons ago). I’m also happy that my art will be there, locally for many people (of all ages), to contemplate, or to be inspired, to think about the journey of others. I believe art is for all, and at a personal level I’m proud to show my art here. The building is also a great example of architecture, something I’ve always admired, and the use of public spaces. This is my second solo exhibition, after “Emotive Memories” in 2016. The display is in the Library’s gallery space, so please take a look if passing by, and let me know so I can be there to greet you and talk about the art. Many thanks to the team at The Curve, and especially @gabyk_lib for envisioning that my art will add something to the Library experience.
