What is this dust / sawdust?

Good afternoon r/HomeImprovement!

I'm not entirely sure this is where I'd post this, but I figure it's a start and someone should be able to give me some hints (though I think I already know what it is, but I'd like to confirm). I've recently found some strange dust / sawdust like stuff underneath my patio doors ( photo ). I suspect possibly carpenter ants? We've found one or two ants in the area (little, black ones) so that's what we're leaning towards, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has any other suggestions before I go mentioning it to the landlord.

Edit: To clarify, I'm wondering if this is something I can address myself, or if the fact that I'm seeing this sawdust stuff means that there's something more serious going on that I need to worry about to let the landlord know about.

SDN Raid Update (Tentative Dates for raid and planning)

So Bee is on vacation so I want to schedule the (first) run soonish so I'm tentatively scheduling the raid on the 14th (10 am PST/1 pm EST). There will be a raid planning/discussion session on the 13th (10 am PST/1 pm EST) on Skype.  Times and dates are subject to change due to my real life issues (I'm so sorry ; ~; ). I'm sorry I haven't been on lately, my grandma was rushed to the emergency room Thursday night and I've not been home much since. Since she's still in the hospital, all times are rather iffy, but I'm hoping she'll be discharged by Monday so I'll be home the 13th and 14th.  --- Tentative raid party is still the same:

Confirmed classes on the run so far:

1 Guardian (main tank) 1 Saint (main healer) 1 Light Bringer (support healer) 1 Sniper (DPS) 1 Gear Master (DPS)

Possible classes:

1 Barbarian (off-tank/DPS) 1 Mercenary (DPS/additional Highlander buffer) 1 Abyss Walker (DPS/tertiary healer)/Warden (DPS) 1 War Mage (DPS)

Do you ever miss a person so much that you just kind of fixate on something you used to do with them and you’re like “I just want to do that thing with them again right now” No matter what it was, if it was a specific joke or moment or thing you always did you just want them and that moment right now, but you can’t do anything about it?

Do you happen to have any advice for ignoring certain entities in your house? I don't have the energy to boot them out or find out what they want, and they aren't hurting anything, they are just right on the edge of my awareness and its getting really draining. But I'm moving soon and don't want to put a lot of work into it (terrible witchling that I am).

Pinch of salt and basil across your bedroom doorway so you can get proper sleep, first of all.

Next, stand your ground. The next time something starts tickling the edge of your awareness, turn around and tell it to get lost, because you have no time for this shit.

You'd be surprised how effective it is.

Sadly, he has disappeared. He didn’t seem to care for the lettuce leaf or the spinach leaf I set out. I think the glass on my desk was freaking him out a bit. But then I had to go downstairs to watch Bandit and by the time I came back he was gone.

I hope he’s okay. ;A;
