I'm in love with this fic called "The Nanny" by heartslogos. Slade becomes Tim's nanny and I love these two. I'm only on chapter 9 but I can't stop laughing and just adoring the fic.

babybirdblues asked you: That one story where Tim gets his nanny to rescue Jason from a Bad Man (Joker) because Tim is an evil genius who has already taken over Gotham. No one touches his Robins or Batman.

five minutes after when it is just starting to calm down: Todoroki says ‘maybe you should hold my right hand from now on’ and Bakugou proceeds to lose his shit all over again because YOU THINK, CAPTAIN FUCKING OBVIOUS??!!and also I’m never touching you again oh my god

Hey, if you don't mind, do you have and fics with tim and dick being brothers? Tim is definitely my favorite character and I'm so tired of all the (in my personal opinion) unrealistic angst between dick and tim in fics. If not that's fine, thanks anyway!

i do indeed babe! and aggghhhh so am i, that's my biggest pet peeve in fics. hopefully this list will bring you some new fics to enjoy!

hunk of porcelain by fanfictiongreenirises this fic is more dick-centric, but it has a lot of dick and tim. it is a horror + angst story, please heed the tags with caution

one more night by babybirdblues is angsty as fuck and doesn't have a happy ending but dick and tim sure do love each other, the angst is not from the strain in their relationship

One Scoop (A Maisy/Macdaisy mini fic)

Note: If you’re wondering, yes, this is Babybirdblue. I needed a break from ao3 idk idk. Mac and Daisy don’t know each other in this.

It started out like most things do: with a prank. Mac was going to get Toddman good this time, he could feel it. This plot would be so legendary it would put him in the official Pranksters Hall of Fame. The only problem was that he needed one hundred cones of double scoop ice cream.

So, he did what any reasonable person would do: went to the nearest chain shop with a faded sign and an almost-twenty-four hour schedule.

“Welcome to the Scoops Emporium, how can I help you tonight?” A brunette with a false-chipper voice and a perfect smile said as he entered.

“Hey, can I get twenty gallons of ice cream and 400 waffle cones? Flavor doesn’t matter,” he added when he saw the look on her face.

“We don’t do wholesale. Would you like a kids cone?”

“You said you’ve seen my kiss cam compilation? It’s always nice to see a fan; I won’t kiss you on the lips but I do offer services in other places.” He wiggled his eyebrows and she glared at him.

“It’s eleven o’clock on a Thursday. I have homework to do and you’re wasting time I could be spending doing it. Do you want a kids cone or not, white boy?”

“You’re feisty, huh?” She raised an eyebrow, and he continued, “Not in a racist way, I say that to my cousin’s dog too.”

“That doesn’t make it better.”

Mac blew out a breath.

“Fine. I’ll have the kids cone,” he glanced at her name tag, “…Daisy.”

“$4.99, coming right up.”

“The menu says $3—.”

“Give me the five dollars. You’ve wasted my time and you owe me at the very least two dollars as compensation.”

He gave her six, just because he didn’t feel like listening to her.

She put on that same smile before ushering him out, swatting him with her notebook. As he walked out the door, he started to plan his next visit. He was thinking another Thursday night.

Quacks Like a—

@babybirdblues has been regaling us on Capes & Coffee (the Tim Drake Discord server) with tales of the duck nesting in her yard. Yesterday, the eggs hatched, resulting in ducklings (or timlings, as one person dubbed them), and I was inspired. A little something from the same AU as A Medium-Sized Problem.

"Aren't they a little, uh. Feathery for you?" Jason leans forward to peek over his boyfriend's shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of the small bodies squeezed into the corner of the room.

Tim growls, a low rumble that comes from deep in his chest. Threatening. Terrifying, actually, considering the distinctly inhuman teeth that are revealed when his lips draw back. "Some thugs thought it would be funny to use a bird for target practice. I stopped them from going after the eggs also, but couldn't save the mom."

"Those don't look like eggs to me."

Tim squirms, his entire face turning an embarrassed pink that makes the concealer around his eyes particularly noticeable. "They needed someone to keep them warm! I couldn't just leave them there like that."

"Wait. Did you. Did you transform and sit on the nest?" Dating a were has its own interesting perks, but this is certainly a new one for him. "Jeez, I was only gone for a week, Timbers. I know we've vaguely talked about adoption in the past, but I kinda thought we'd wait a few more years before—" He breaks off, wincing in pain and rubbing his side where Tim jabbed him with an elbow.

"Ass. I'm taking them to a wildlife rescue place in the morning. I would have done it sooner, but I wasn't sure if it was safe to transport the eggs before they'd hatched, and I didn't feel like explaining to anyone what I was doing, hanging out on a ledge twenty stories up in the middle of the business district."

A fluffy little butt starts backing its way out from the darkness and onto Tim's thigh, peeping anxiously before tumbling backwards into the were's hand.

Frowning, Jason squints down at the hatchling, taking a good, long look at it. "That's a duck."

"Yeah, I'm aware."

"Ducks nest on the ground. What was one doing twenty stories up?"

"I don't know, I didn't get a chance to ask her before some idiot hopped up on testosterone and bad decisions thought it would be funny to waste ammo on her," Tim snaps, though he keeps his tone low as he runs a finger down the duckling's back.

"I mean, wood ducks sometimes nest in high places—what, Roy likes to put on Animal Planet for Lian—but that looks like a mallard."

"It's not like it even matters. I'll drop them off at the rehabilitation center tomorrow, they'll be someone else's problem then."

In Tim's hand, the duckling peeps as if in agreement, then plops down on its rump, and hiccups out a small flame.

For a moment, both vigilantes just stare at each other.

Then Jason clears his throat. "So, uh. Where did you put that list of Homo magi you're on good terms with? I think this might be something a bit out of a rehabilitation center's league."

There’s an 85% chance we’re adopting a new kitten Saturday (we’re going to meet her Saturday before we make a final decision) and we haven’t thought of a name yet. We’ve been leaning towards two-syllable names but we haven’t been able to think of any we’re particularly fond of.
