There are a lot of great tips in here for phone photographers and beginners. And it's a good reminder of all the issues we ran into when we started out.

I had a great time doing this with buddies from @brickcentral and we're going to open up feedback to other members of the community soon. I have to figure out when and what though.

so like a really long time ago i saw this video of anne rice talking about vampire creativity and she basically said that vampires can't make anything artistically valid, that that type of creativity is reserved for human beings and this ep really made me think about that bc these vampires really want to make things but then they get frustrated when what they make isn't good and they can't find what they're looking for in their work but what's missing is the humanity. louis can see things that human beings can't bc of his vampiric abilities but that doesn't automatically give him a leg up irt making art, his work is more documentation than capturing singular moments. and he's frustrated that he can't connect w his subjects and it furthers his feelings of alienation from humanity bc why can't he just do it? why can't he convey the things he's trying to w his photos? and then he covets human work bc the spark required to make it is unavailable to him

at the risk of sounding terminally online, this made me think about my theory that misha's the designated "woman" in j2m wrt how he's treated in fandom (because he poses a threat to a lot of things some fans care about: jaytwo, brotherhood, toxic masculinity,...). sam smith has to keep smiling lest she be called rude and ungrateful, and misha faces similar backlash if he has an off day. jensen can look serious in 60 % of his ops and if someone dare say something about it, fans are quick to find a million excuses.

we joke about misha being the only straight guy to suffer workplace homophobia, but you can throw misogyny in the mix too cause these things are all connected, they always are

and i hope it's clear my point is not to equate misha's experience to that of any of the women on the cast, cause that will never be the same. it's solely to point out that misogyny manifests in ways that aren't always very obvious. and misha, as usual, is quite a unique and fascinating case study imo

in the previous episode I was relieved to see swings make an appearance because I thought it meant we'd get a scene close to the one in the original. but they made the crushes reveal feel rushed with the music playing and the credits rolling, the explanation felt a bit like a dora the explorer line and it just didn't even come close to the genius of the original

I'd absolutely love to see your take on ES Optimus in any sort of capacity! He's my special guy :] But if you want something more familiar, maybe TFA Prowl chillin in some nature? If I could throw something more specific at you, interacting with some wolves? (Not sure how comfortable you are with animals but figured it's worth a shot 🐺)

Tho... I took a... not very "chill" route that ended... in me drawing another thing that I know many despite about the canon of the character--
