To describe discussions on what is or isn't transmisogynistic in media(and by extension irl since fiction effects reality and denying it does is inherently racist),the Hunters of Artemis from Pjo are frequently called 'terfy' by the fandom because they're misandrists.This is despite the fact they never refer to biology in their hatred of men and canonically accept trans girls into their group and Percy Jackson is called 'a positive masculinity icon' despite not presenting masculinely in gender and actually heavily resenting manhood and insulting it at multiple points and going on a quest to prove herself as unlike men to the Hunters and being much more positively connected to women and girlhood throught the entire series(and running).You get what i'm laying down re all the 'discourse' that happens on here every time transfems say they don't think a character with historically transmisogynistic tropes is 'gender' or when transandrodorks say women not wanting to date men is fascism and that we should just fuck it out or that egg jokes make 'em uncomfy and that it would be better if everybody was every kind of trans all at once instead of 'dividing us'?
