tour thoughts & questions

so curious about their planning process for this tour. there is no way they organized this whole thing just in the time since the re-launch (why u lying to us dan). they've booked so many venues, and that shit happens pretty far out from the actual date of performance...

so somehow like a year ago when they were simply not producing really any ~joint content, they and their team crunched numbers and were certain enough that d&p could fill dozens of venues in usa, uk, and europe. i wonder if the WAD attendance is what they went off of? was their thinking that if people will come see dan, those same people will also come see dan and phil?

and then i'm so interested in how their thinking about this tour influenced their video production over the past few months. they've been so active and present, so playful and engaged, and they've had some Big Moments (the revival announcement vid, the catboy picture, the hugely impactful livestreams, dan and phil crafts, phlonde pic). i wonder how much of this they had plotted out in order to continue to generate interest (aka stir us into a frenzy bc they know their audience so well) and also steer us in the direction of whatever the tone/content of this tour will be. idk, i'm rambling.

final thought for now - this is such a positive sign for all of phil's health stuff he'd been struggling with (migraines, vertigo, etc.) bc i don't imagine he'd commit to this if he didn't think his body would cope.
