Something about them (Pissa/Death Duo)

Something I really like about Phil and Missa's relationship is how free they are. Don't get me wrong. Philza is just the right degree of jealous and possessive for a crow, but he is not actually suffocating, like, at all.

Phil extended his hand to Missa after his first day with Chaynne not only because it would be better to have two fathers together and get along for the egg but because... he really liked the skeleton guy, you would think that getting Philza's trust would be more difficult, more laborious and would take more time however he accepted Missa into his small circle of people easily.

Philza accepted him into his life, into his house, into his family easily and without demanding anything in return.

And the same for Missa. Platonic husbands is more of a title than a label, they don't need labels, they had a connection and accepted each other now they are family! don't need any more explanation.

I can't think of the other islanders being as understanding of Missa's work as Phil is (he's been there, done that) even if someone else had understood what it's like to work under death there would still have been a bit of resentment left in many cases (smaller depending on the person) and Missa can't blame them, he knows how difficult it must be to raise a child alone but Missa can't control his work.

Phil understands and respects it because when he invited him to be part of his life, to have a space in his nest, he did not do it with the idea of ​​keeping Missa, Phil is old and has seen people come and go, he knows better than to force them to stay when something greater claims them. Missa could just slip into Phil's life once in a while and leave just as easily and Phliza would still be fond of him because when Phil gave Missa a place in his heart he didn't give it to him like a cage; He gave it to him to bathe in the sunlight of his purple eyes, to share with this funny grim reaper guy, to have a family even if it doesn't look like the average family canons, Philza and Missa respect each other's integrity and freedom as persons, they love each other without expecting anything in return, happy to know that the other is okay because they transcend finite love of mortals who are separated by death; death unites them.

Phil and Missa are not like Pac and Fit or Cellbit and Roier, they are their own kind of relationship and that's okay.

Phil has been away for weeks or maybe even months (we know that the crow does not have good time management), his love of adventure and travel sometimes takes him away longer than he expected, when he returns his children welcome him effusively talking about how they missed him so much and it hurts Phil's heart to know that he will surely have to leave them behind again, another time simply because some places are too much for them. Missa shakes off that guilt like an old rag stating that he will always be welcome and will never hold him back from leaving if he wants to go; Missa wants him to be a free bird and would never stop him or deprive him of something intimately his.

And If Philza falls into his husband's arms murmuring how much did he miss them, how much did he miss him, it's no one's problem, if he felt Missa leave a delicate kiss on the top of his head, it's no one's problem other than him and his platonic husband.

“okay maybe they’re just related! no big deal!” denial is his best friend

but then as he learns about the craft family’s history, specifically the fact that they basically disappeared off the face of the earth for a few years before returning looking no different? hes like. oh. ohhh boy.

and hes SO conflicted. bc he feels lied to but both bc he didn’t realize they were vampires but also because they’ve basically become his family, especially with phil’s likening of adopting kids he thinks are scared fledglings

and i think he’d be a dick abt it. they all think he’s a fledgling. so he’s going to ACTIVELY do things he thinks vampires cant do to mess with them or get them to own up

wilbur: oh be careful! you need to put on sunscreen or else you’ll get burned!

THE“*SECRET*”JOB

This is my writing thing that I’ve kinda posted before. (Not so much) And I know it could be a little bad because it’s old but I kinda wanted to try it so I hope you all enjoy it:D

Wilbur was coming home from his “late hours” from work. When he got inside his father Philza, was sitting on the couch waiting for him.

“Where were you, I was worried sick about you!?” His father said with a worry in his voice with a pitch of anger.

“I was working.” Wilbur said with a cold expression that sent chills down philza’s spine.

A moment later Wilbur looked away from his dad and walked to the stairs and sped up with each step.

When he finally made it up the stairs, he walked to his room sighing as he opened the door to be welcomed by the smell of a almost bloody rose garden.

He put his bag down as he walked to the bathroom. When he got in, the went to the sink looking at himself in the mirror thinking if what he did today.

While Wilbur was in the bathroom he started to brush his teeth and shower.

While Wilbur was in the bathroom, phliza was worried about him since his mother passed away and his new job.

PAST

You see, when Wilbur was young he’s was a little different but always happy about that. He would play tricks on people when least expected but still a nice and caring kid.

Him and his mother loved going outside to the park and looking at the night sky, they would that ever night when they got the opportunity too.

But one night when Wilbur and his mother were at the park at night, Wilbur was in his head thinking about the stars and the blue night sky.

His mother decided to go walk for a little,A few minutes later Wilbur snapped out of his imaginations when he heard a loud scream of horror that sounded like his mother. Wilbur immediately got up and ran to the screaming sounds. When he finally saw his mother he saw a knife in her chest and someone running away.

Wilbur was in shock, trembling then falling to the floor crying.

Ever since that happened, Wilbur was depressed and would break stuff if he was mad. Later on he got used to his mother’s passing but still, wishes she was still there.

PRESENT

Wilbur walked out the bathroom with a fresh new clothes of the the shirt being yellow and the pants being blue. He turned of the lights and closed the door, walking towards the bed when he got in and started to look at the ceiling. Thinking of the things he did to day

“Tomorrow is is gonna be a bloody good one.” Wilbur said smiling to himself and slowly start to fall asleep.

NEXT DAY

Wilbur awoke to the sound of a ticking clock. Slowly waking up he look at the clock and saw that it was 5:30 A.M. he got up and walked to the bathroom.

he opened the door and turned the light on to the half mess from last night. He walked to the mirror, lookin at him self. “Let’s just get this over with.”Wilbur said with tiredness,he started to turn on the sink and brush his teeth and then start to wash his face.

When he was done he soon started to change his clothes into the uniform that he has to wear. He went down stairs and went to the kitchen looking for food. When he got in he found lunch sitting on the kitchen counter. There was a note that said “I hope you have a good day!” When Wilbur looked at the food inside the bag he saw the a sandwich rapped with plastic. “ I’m not eating this..” he said irritated while walking away.

He walked in to the living room and got his beanie from the drawers and put it in his head.

“Days are better with this on.” Wilbur said grinning a little.

He started opening the front door, and taking his first few steps outside to see the blue sky mixed with yellow, pink, and even purple. “Only a few more hours be fore school starts, might as well walk around for a while.”

Wilbur said checking the time and on his phone.

Wilbur stopped looking at his phone and started to walk to the sidewalk. “Welp the day starts now.” He said, making sure his backpack was on right and putting his hands in his pockets.
