Hey, everyone!

If you read my notes on ao3 to the latest chapter of "A Winsome Witch And A Happy Human", you'll notice that I mentioned that I was taking a break from the story to work on a writing collab project with a mutual / friend.

Me and Lee plan to release one part of the story for every day of December!

Well, I'm here to talk about it!

It's titled "Witte Solstice", and I'm writing it with @leespinoodle!

"The most satanic time of the year is upon us, and Caleb wants me to participate? Hmph! As if I would..."

Here's a summary:

It's winter in the Boiling Isles, and Caleb prepares to celebrate the solstice with his wife, his friends... and hopefully, with Beardo Philip!

Philip swears he'll never partake in the satanic holidays of those demonic witches.

But when Caleb invites him over for the solstice... maybe he'll find himself making an exception.

When a line of a song repeats on another song but slightly different or the exact same in a slightly different context or the exact same with the same context ("Look around look around" by Eliza vs by Alex, "I'm helpless" in Helpless vs Non-stop vs Say no to this)

The way it sounds like Lin is spitting on the P's in "My time's uP, wise uP, eyes uP"

How everyone agrees that Lafayette let his hair loose after Yorktown and that if he put it on a ponytail again Hamilton would react the same way Doofenschmirtz does with Perry and his hat

Everyone seems to agree Laurens should go running to be with Angelica, Eliza and Maria when they sing "Me? I loved him"

The historical inaccuracy making songs even better (example: "How the sausage gets made" sung in 1790's when sausages were brought in the 1800's. Philip dying before the election of 1800 and in July when he actually died in November of 1801. Burr being Charles' second.)

Being able to tell which song is which even when they start off the same (alexander hamilton, guns and ships and winter's ball) by slight differences

He doesn't care how old you both are, he'll happily go trick or treating with you. He'll refuse to go dressed as a ghost, vampire etc though, as he thinks they are "too generic and unoriginal".

You: "What will you dress up as then?"

CJ: "A Ballas member. Nothing is nastier than them"

Toni

He'll go trick or treating with you, dressed up as a bloodstained killer butcher.

You: "Er, interesting choice, but why?..."

Toni: "Trust me, you don't wanna know"

Victor

Will surprise you with a pumpkin pie with cute spider decorations.

"Thought it would be a nice Halloween treat, darling"

Niko

He personally never really cared about Halloween, but definitely won't say no to candy corn! Also expect Roman, Mallorie and Brucie to come visit, all dressed up in various wacky costumes.

Johnny

For him this day is more like an excuse to wear vampire fangs (he secretly has a thing for vampires).

Huang

Franklin

He'll just chill with you and watch horror movies together.

Michael

Similarly to Franklin, he will (DEFINITELY) watch horror movies with you, but only the older ones.

"Ahhh, the old classics, the newer ones focus too much on jumpscares and gore"

Trevor

Loves Halloween, its spooky and gritty atmosphere, and will carve pumpkins with you already by september 1st. Just don't ask him why do those pumpkins have "questionable" holes.
