1. Of all the dead characters who would you see resurected (lets pretend its possible) and why
2. Who would win in a fight, Cora or Apollo 🤣
I want Hugh! Don't get me wrong, Em would be nice to have back, and Philippe, but I want to see Hugh. See the dynamic between him and Fernando, and Gallowglass, his little family. I want to see his relationship with his siblings, especially Matthew and Baldwin, and I want to see him be an amazing uncle! I can see him and Miyako being close. And I want him to take over from Baldwin, so my baby can have a fucking break 😅
2. As much as I love Apollo, he's a hippogriff, while I think he could do some damage, Cora is a firedrake and could probably toast him (please don't, darling). I also think their powers/strength is linked to their witch's powers/strength. So since Diana is more powerful than her toddler, I'm going with Cora winning in a fight 😅

I'm back with doing a sample post. I'm taking a small break from doing asteroid meanings and will instead be doing some other post types related to asteroids I've covered in the past. I will still be working with the charts of Rebecca and Philip Bishop-Clairmont as I think it's fun to dig into the astrological lives of these two fictional characters. I hope you all enjoy some variation in my post. If you want to learn more about Panacea, check out my original post on the asteroid here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I use keywords to initially interpret a placement, which I will be doing here below. I will also be doing a more in depth interpretation of what Panacea means for each twin individually, but before I can do that I get all the keywords written down and a very basic initial interpretation formed, which yes, can mean somethings here might contradict other parts that I will rectify later.
The matters ruled by Panacea: medication, relationship with pharmaceuticals and alternative medicines, and usage of alleged cure-alls
Panacea in the sign of Scorpio means someone is passionate, intense, jealous, secretive, magnetic, vindictive, and forceful in matters ruled by Panacea.
Panacea in the Third House of Communication means that matters of Panacea's influence is most strongly felt in the areas of early education, siblings, neighbourhood, language, transportation, and technology.
Panacea making a semi-sexile with Saturn means obstacles causing an impact on development of matters ruled by Panacea due to the matters of Saturn's domain (discipline, limitation, duty, reality, excellence, endurance, caution). It also speaks to the completion of a family member's work - which is noteworthy due to the books.
Panacea making a sesquis-square with Uranus means conflict which is easier to suppress and ignore than confront and grow when it concerns matters ruled by Panacea because of the influences ruled by Uranus (independence, sudden disruption, unorthodoxy, experimentation, revolution, change).
PHILIP ONLY: Panacea making a sextile with the Ascendant means an easy realisation of goals and strong hidden talents in matters ruled by Panacea thanks to the help of the Ascendant's influence (appearance, motivation, others' perception)
Panacea is in the degree symbolised by a fox sitting on his haunches, which means selfishness and a good strategist in matters ruled by Panacea.
Now that I have some basic interpretations above for the sign, house, aspects, and degree of Panacea in the twins’ natal charts, I’m going to be expanding on the above in order to round out what Panacea represents for both twins, and yes, there will be similarities and differences, and also some copy pasting because I am not writing the same thing twice.
Panacea for Rebecca
Rebecca is a Scorpian Panacean, born when the asteroid of Panacea was in the sign of the scorpion and is located within her third house. This implies that she is passionate about the usage of medicines, though not necessarily for the most altruistic reasons. Rebecca's relationship with the concept of medicine is duplicitous and something she will prefer to keep hidden from others, covering up anything that could distract from her intentions. There is a strong connection between the concept of medicine and her siblings and her childhood years, which suggests that the former played an important role in her early experiences and may have left a noticeable impact on her, hence why she is now much more intense about it.
Rebecca's Panacea forms aspects with two different points within her chart: Saturn and Uranus, which means that the themes of these two points influences how Rebecca’s Panacea behaves with the other elements of her life. She is very cautious when it comes to medications, sometimes to the point of endangering herself, potentially due to negative experiences. There is a lot of conflict with medicine for her, though she chooses to bury it instead of confronting this issue. The issue in question likely stems from experimental medications, perhaps forced upon her by a family member, that she was told she had to endure for the benefit of others - likely siblings. Rebecca would want greater independence in medicine due to these negative experiences, though until she learns to deal with her past it will remain illusive.
Panacea for Philip
Philip is a Scorpian Panacean, born when the asteroid of Panacea was in the sign of the scorpion and is located within his third house. This implies that he is passionate about the usage of medicines, though not necessarily for the most altruistic reasons. Philip's relationship with the concept of medicine is duplicitous and something he will prefer to keep hidden from others, covering up anything that could distract from his intentions. There is a strong connection between the concept of medicine and his siblings and his childhood years, which suggests that the former played an important role in his early experiences and may have left a noticeable impact on him, hence why he is now much more intense about it.
Philip's Panacea forms aspects with three different points within his chart: Saturn, Uranus, and his Ascendant, which means that the themes of these three points influences how Philip’s Panacea behaves with the other elements of his life. He is very cautious when it comes to medications, sometimes to the point of endangering himself, potentially due to negative experiences. There is a lot of conflict with medicine for him, though he chooses to bury it instead of confronting this issue. The issue in question likely stems from experimental medications, perhaps forced upon him by a family member, that he was told he had to endure for the benefit of others - likely siblings. Philip would want greater independence in medicine due to these negative experiences, though until he learns to deal with his past it will remain illusive. Because of how others see him, he has the ability to be extremely influential in the fields of pharmaceuticals or alternative medicines and can appear to have a lot of talent in the field, almost like he is a success story.
I personally have a lot of feelings about Panacea and how it relates to the twins, especially from where I think their story will go if the author continues it, and these charts kind of confirm my fears. I don't want to get into it entirely, as we will be here for that essay for a while and this post is supposed to be just about the astrology, but I mention it because I do want to point out that my interpretation here is probably clouded by what I think their fictional future holds, and I just want to get that out of the way encase anyone else sees a similar placement to the twins' in their own chart and worries.

📷 ADOW S3:05 Big Brother Jack: defender of Twins - Knight of Lazarus / Fallen completely under baby brother’s Philip Witchy spell 🔮
You know what? If the story & plot had been a bit different , I would have loved to have seen Toby as Jack from the very beginning in Season 1. But we only got 7 episodes instead… 😔 Matthew and Toby just work so well together in every scene. Perfect casting 👏

@adowbaldwin I blame you for this! Entirely you! I couldn’t get to sleep until I wrote this!!
Diana had been absolutely insistant when Baldwin rang the previous fortnight to ask what it was the twins wanted for Christmas.
‘Pip’s got his heart set on having a go of that Jouef train set you’ve got in the attic, and Becca wants nail polish’
‘Lipstick too, or-’
‘No, no, just nail polish’
He had felt very hurt then to discover, on Christmas Day, that Diana had said the exact same thing to every other member of the family. The end result being that his fairly modest box (a sensible size for a six year old) was lost among enough deluxe makeup bags to sink an armada.
But Becca had been ecstatic and hugged him anyway, so that made him feel a bit better.
He had gifted Pip the train set, his nephew’s eyes lighting up like hot coals. Marcus had given Pip a conductor’s hat, and he and Baldwin had helped Pip set everything up in the living room once the piles of torn wrapping paper were cleared away.
Now it was Boxing Day and Pip, hat perched on his head and one of his father’s business jackets swamping his small frame, was sitting stoically on the carpet, providing running commentary as the trains whirred round the track.
His sister was off on the other side of the room, carefully tying an enormous red bow to her familiar’s head. The monstrosity had been wrapped around Phoebe’s new car, a present from Marcus, and Becca had gleefully announced that it would make a wonderful hat for Luna.
‘Hands out like this on the carpet, please’ Becca held her hands up, spreading her fingers wide, and then placing them both palms-down onto the floor. Luna copied her, thin bony claws digging ever so slightly into the shagpile.
Baldwin watched with fond amusement as Becca carefully selected several pots of nail polish from one of her new makeup bags, and began to delicately paint the pterodactyl’s nails.
Then he realised she was spilling drops everywhere, and dashed off to get some newspaper to put down before they both got in trouble.

What's your opinion on s2? I loved it, of course I missed some parts from the book, but understand why it has to be that way. What do you think of Matthew and Teresa? Any thoughts about s3, what do you predict they will do with it? I honestly think they served every season and it will be bitter sweet ending. Hopefully covid will let them do press, I love cast and their chemistry and family like atmosphere.
(Taking a break from TLH theories to answer one or more ADOW asks! I say this because I know the name Matthew confuses people, lol)
Hi! I poured all my thoughts about season 2 here. I do think they did the absolute best they could with the little time they had. These books need more than 8-10 episodes to be adapted, but they did an amazing job regardless. Some things might feel a bit rushed towards the end, but it’s either that or cutting down more plot lines. There are a couple of things I would’ve done slightly differently, but I am 97% satisfied at season 2.
Matthew and Teresa were phenomenal. I touch upon that too in my review. We owe so much to them and their chemistry.
For season 3, I really wish they would be able to split it in two seasons like they were supposed to, before COVID happened. I know it’s impossible now, but I recognize that any narrative problem s3 could have will be due to this: they were planning for 2 seasons and had to resort to 1. I wish at least season 3 could have more than 10 episodes so they can tell the story and wrap up everything perfectly, but we can’t know that yet. But it looks like Deb just answered an IG comment yesterday saying it will only be 7 episodes.
Tumblr media
I would obviously love if they were granted an extra season to cover more material in TBOL and Time’s Convert. Officially, they haven’t cancelled the show yet, they just haven’t said it will continue past season 3 and everyone is sort of assuming it will end there, especially given all the delays that happened because of COVID.
The actors themselves don’t hold much hope that the show will continue past s3 now - or can’t say what they know yet - because Teresa was asked and she just vaguely said that she’s ready to let go but she will be more than happy to continue if they can. But they must have signed deals for 4 seasons, if they were planning to split TBOL in two seasons. The problem might be that they were only under contract until a certain year (2021) and there will be no way to extend that. I’m just speculating here, based on my good enough understanding of television production.
Plot-wise, I think they might actually include some bits of Time’s Convert (without the past parts, of course) because they’ll want Marcus and Phoebe to have their happy ending. If you think about it, Adelle is so often on set with Aiysha, and I don’t recall Phoebe and Miriam spending much time together in The Book of Life... maybe we’ll see the glimpses of the twins driving Diana and Matthew insane as they develop their skills. Maybe we’ll see Apollo, and Pip doing some magic. Maybe we’ll see Becca bite people. Hopefully we’ll get one of those family dinners at Les Revenants where everyone is happy and safe and together (except for my love Gallowglass). They will probably have to rush everything. Major plot points will have to be completely scrapped.
I hope they do the book justice. I know we can trust them to do the very best they can despite the situation. Deb is one of the Executive Producers, and no one cares about these characters more than she does. We have to trust that these people who made magic happen for 2 seasons can do it even in such adverse circumstances, just like Diana and Matthew would.
For now, let’s enjoy season 2. We can worry about season 3 when the time comes. By then, I hope we’ll finally be out of this pandemic for good and at least the cast and crew will be able to celebrate and do press together. It’s what they deserve.

End of an Era...
Far from a happily-ever-after, the emergence of a new threat brings the next generation of the De Clermont family into a fight for the survival of all creatures and their family when it strikes at the very heart of the ancient clan.
WARNING: Major Character Death
SPOILERS: Book of Life and Time’s Convert
———
“Rebecca, go to the library!” Diana demanded, failing to keep the faint trembling from her voice.
“Eric, where is he?’ The eighteen-year-old bright-born asked instead, her blue eyes searching out the answer from her cousin.
Gallowglass said nothing and instead looked to his aunt for guidance.
“Do as your mother says!” Matthew demanded, his tone much sharper than usual.
“Take Andrew upstairs,” Diana lifted the infant from his cot and placed him in his sister’s arms, “tell Philip and Jack to stay there and the three of you mind Andrew, Sarah and Christopher until we call for you.”
Rebecca had ample experience in knowing when to argue with her parents and when not to, this situation was the latter, even if she wanted an answer to her question.
Instead, she took her brother upstairs.
Philip looked up from his chess game with Jack when they both entered the library, the worry etched on his face also.
His griffin Apollo sat curled near the fire, his large body curled around Christopher’s smaller Hippogriff, Hermes.
“Gallowglass has come back, alone?” Phillip asked her.
“Yes, but I don’t know what happened, I was banished up here,” she explained, placing the infant in her arms into a playpen, his other two siblings already asleep.
“Can’t you, y’know?” Jack asked Philip.
“You think I can weave an eavesdropping spell without Mom sensing it?” He asked, incredulous.
Rebecca shook her head, knowing he was right, her eyes cast out over the grand canal, watching the lights of the boats go to and fro.
Venice had become their home, sanctuary and refuge after Hubbard, her youngest brother’s namesake, was killed whilst helping them escape London.
Marcus and the depleted Knights of Lazarus took up residence in the cleared out Isolla Della Stella after the creatures of Venice rose to the aid of the Bishop-Clairmont’s and expelled the non-friendly congregation members.
There was no Congregation, only angry humans demanding justice for the millennia they had been used as pawns in the games of creatures. The world wars, atrocities engineered and guided, much of the time by Philippe De Clermont himself.
“Has anyone told Miyako?” Rebecca asked.
“I’m sure Dad has.” Jack assured.
“I swear, if they-“ Rebecca stopped, half fury and half fear.
“Becca, remember who you’re talking about. Uncle Baldwin’s not someone we need to worry about.” Philip tried to comfort her.
“They have him, Pip, that fucking psycho bitch and her sycophants have him locked in their dungeon doing god who knows what to him.”
“I know, and he’ll be fine.” Philip pulled her into a hug that made her feel momentarily better.
“Mum’s here.” Jack announced before the door opened.
Diana entered, the sound of yelling and broken pottery clearly audible from downstairs before she closed over the door.
“Where is Uncle Baldwin?” Rebecca demanded.
Diana shook her head and took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry my darling,” she caught her daughter before she fell, one arm around her shoulder as she used her free hand to beckon the boys to join also.
Baldwin had been given a traitors death, beheaded and burned.
As was the case with his elder brother Hugh, there was nothing left to bury. No loving family members had been permitted to provide the Roman custom of ‘the last goodbye’, a kiss to free his soul to travel to Elysium.
Every church in Venice rang their bells on the hour for twelve hours for the twelve days of mourning in protest at the loss of one of their guardians.
Rebecca bit down on her rage for those twelve days, whilst her family and their friends, Baldwin’s brothers in the Knights, her cousins - including Baldwin’s own daughter Miyako - all tried to imagine a world without him in it.
On the thirteenth day, the business of managing the family took centre stage.
Gallowglass fought like a bear to shake off the shackles of De Clermont family leadership both Matthew and Ysabeau placed upon his shoulders.
Since all of Philippe’s son’s were dead, the responsibility passed to the eldest surviving heir of the eldest deceased son, much to Verin’s disapproval. Gallowglass would have happily handed to her if he could.
He could not, and instead bent to the demands of his family expectations, starting with his addressing the remaining Knights, including his cousins.
“We have mourned for twelve days, despite the fact that Baldwin himself would have found that excessive,” Gallowglass broke the tension with the light joke, “now we must do as he would have ordered us to, look to the future and survival of our family. He died-“
“He was murdered,” Miyako interrupted from the doorway, “he did not die in battle, Eric!”
“Miyako,” Matthew addressed his niece, “I promise he will be avenged.”
“No need, I’ll kill her myself!”
“I appreciate your grief but you will not.”
“I do not answer to you Matthew!”
“No, you answer to me,” Gallowglass boomed, “Matthew is right, I will not lose you too and you will no longer refer to me by that name, we are not of equal rank. Is that clear?”
“Crystal clear, Sieur. Might I be excused?”
“You may.” Gallowglass gave his permission and she turned, momentarily catching Rebecca’s eye as she did so.
What followed was tedious reports from those gathered regarding everything except a plan to horribly murder each and every creature that had a hand in Baldwin’s death.
“I need some air.” Rebecca told her mother as she stood up and left.
“I’ll go with her.” Diana decided.
“No, you need to stay, in case this place erupts,” Philip argued, “I’ll go.”
Diana nodded, Philip was always the best at getting his sister to calm down.
He found her in an empty room, pacing beneath the oculus in the ceiling.
“I don’t understand,” Rebecca spoke up eventually, “why did she hate him so much?”
“She was turned by Him,” Jack, who had followed after them, still never said his grand-sire’s name, “it’s what allowed her to take the De Clermont seat. He must have hurt her, bad, it’s why she wears that creepy mask, and needs a witch to speak for her.” Jack added.
“You pity her,” Rebecca accused, “after what she did?”
“You’d be surprised at what He can make you do.” Jack answered, ashamed and Philip placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
“Benjamin Fox has been dead for almost eighteen years, she appeared three years ago, why wait so long and why? Is she acting out of revenge for her sire’s death, or looking to kill all of us because of what he did to her, whatever that was.”
“Becca-“ Philip tried to stem the tide.
“Who was she before, was she a human, a witch, daemon? How old is she, when was she turned? How do we not have an answer to any of this yet?” Rebecca’s mind spun.
“Finally,” Miyako commented from above them on her perch at the edge of the oculus, “someone’s asking the right questions.”
She dropped down with the grace of a cat.
“Dad will find out, Marcus will gather the Knights and-“ Philip started.
“And what? They get captured too?” Miyako shook her head.
“You can’t go after her yourself,” Philip told his cousin, “Uncle Baldwin was three times older and more experienced than you are and she still managed to trap and kill him.”
“I don’t mean now, I mean then!” Miyako told him.
“No, don’t even think it.” Jack shook his head.
“You’re giving me orders?” She hissed.
“Let’s take a breath,” Philip suggested, ever reasonable, “Miyako, what are you saying?”
“She wants you to take her on a Time-Walk, kill the masked vampire when she was vulnerable!” Jack explained.
“We can’t play with the past like that!” Philip reacted with horror.
“What do we need to find out who she was?” Rebecca asked.
“You are not doing this Rebecca, Mum will go nuts!” Jack agreed with his brother.
“I’m not saying we time-walk, I’m saying if we find out who she was it will give us an edge in defeating her now!” Rebecca lied, giving Miyako a pointed look.
“What do we need?” Miyako repeated.
“Pip?” Rebecca prompted but he remained silent.
“Father was just the beginning,” Miyako argued, “he loved you all and it is now my duty to protect you. Tell me what you need to weave your spell and I will acquire it.”
“I promised mother I wouldn’t use my magic for those purpose in case it hurts any of you, but-“
“But what?” Miyako prompted.
“If she was able to kill Uncle Baldwin then no-one is safe. We need a sample of her blood but that’s not going to be possible.”
“Let me worry about that!” She replied curtly.
Jack shook his head, the proceedings moving too fast for his comfort.
“Mum and Dad will have a plan, we should wait until we find out what it is.”
“I agree with Jack,” Philip nodded, “if we act now it could compromise what they’ve planned.”
“So, we wait?” Jack asked hopefully.
“Yes, we await our orders.” Philip agreed.
“And if those orders are to stand down and do nothing?” Miyako challenged.
“Then, and only then, will we act!” Philip decided and was met with grudging agreement from Rebecca and Miyako and relief from Jack.

Hello, I'm back again with another sample post. Honestly though, I swear I didn't intend for these to be in a kind of astrological order, but it seems like that will be the case. If you want to learn more about Aesculapia, check out my original post on the asteroid here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I use keywords to initially interpret a placement, which I will be doing here below. I will also be doing a more in depth interpretation of what Aesculapia means for each twin individually, but before I can do that I get all the keywords written down and a very basic initial interpretation formed, which yes, can mean somethings here might contradict other parts that I will rectify later.
The matters ruled by Aesculapia: native’s holistic health, dealings with those in medical professions, and anything to do with the health system (if it is related to health, it has ties to Aesculapia).
Aesculapia in the sign of Sagittarius means someone is philosophical, explorative, optimistic, honest, lazy, careless, and moral in matters ruled by Aesculapia.
Aesculapia in the house of Fourth House of Home means that matters of Aesculapia’s influence is most strongly felt in the areas of domestic life, household, youth, origins, ancestry, and security.
Aesculapia making a semi-square with Venus means a great deal of friction and minor irritations in matters ruled by Aesculapia though there is very little awareness or concern of these issues due to matters within the domain of Venus (love, relationships, aesthetics, social nature, comforts, and femininity).
Aesculapia making a sextile with Saturn means an easy realisation of goals and strong hidden talents in matters ruled by Aesculapia thanks to the help of Saturn's influence (discipline, limitation, duty, reality, excellence, endurance, caution).
Aesculapia making a square with the Ascendant means heightened tensions that causes difficult problems and challenges to arise in matters ruled by Aesculapia due to the matters ruled by the Ascendant (appearance, motivation, others’ perception).
Aesculapia is in the degree symbolised by Death, which means a miser, sacrificing self for superficial gain, and a delight of slaughter and carnage if they gain something in matters ruled by Aesculapia.
There actually isn't really any difference in the twin's charts when it comes to Aesculapia, the only difference is the tightness of the aspect with the Ascendant (it slightly tighter with Philip than Rebecca, but the aspect is still there). However, I am going to keep their interpretations separate as I am more used to writing for one at a time rather than for two, but it will be essentially the exact same as Aesculapia in their charts in almost the exact same.
Aesculapia for Rebecca
Rebecca is a Sagittarian Aesculapian, born when the asteroid of Aesculapia was in the sign of the archer and is located within her fourth house. This means that she is someone who is explorative and honest when it comes to dealing with any health issues, willing to try a variety of methods and listen to ideas in order to see what works. Her dealings with medical professionals played a significant part of her younger years and she is optimistic in how she handles them. She can though be incredibly lazy in doing what she should in order to best take care of herself to the point of carelessness. There is also a tendency to destroy herself and others for the pursuit of what she believes is the ideal image of health.
Rebecca's Aesculapia forms aspects with three different points within her chart: Venus, Saturn, and her Ascendant, which means that the themes of these three points influences how Rebecca’s Aesculapia behaves with the other elements of her life. There is a sense of duty when it comes to how she views her health which allow her to maintain it with relative ease and has a strong endurance for dealing with any medical issues that may arise. However, she will have difficult challenges with medical professionals due to their initial presumptions about her, quite possibly impacting the type of care she can receive. There are also a lot of minor annoyances and irritations that will come about in her health, though she will have trouble recognising them for what they are due to the influence of her relationships - especially romantic ones.
Aesculapia for Philip
Philip is a Sagittarian Aesculapian, born when the asteroid of Aesculapia was in the sign of the archer and is located within his fourth house. This means that he is someone who is explorative and honest when it comes to dealing with any health issues, willing to try a variety of methods and listen to ideas in order to see what works. His dealings with medical professionals played a significant part of his younger years and he is optimistic in how he handles them. He can though be incredibly lazy in doing what he should in order to best take care of himself to the point of carelessness. There is also a tendency to destroy himself and others for the pursuit of what he believes is the ideal image of health.
