สวัสดีค่ะ Hi telomeke,
I'm new here... just because of you! 😅 Found your blog month ago while I did some BBS research... and I'm really impressed by your research skills, your amazing eyes for details and your patience in finding locations.
Now it happens that in 14 days I am flying to Thailand for 4 weeks. And in preparation for this, I saved alll the locations you mentioned on google maps. 😇 I think, I'll take a tour through Bangkok to all the locations.
I couldn't find out how long ago post no. 12 was and wether there will be any new ones to follow. But I think there is at least one location missing. (the companies of Pat's and Pran's parents)
Are you still searching for locations or is your work completed?
If you are interested, it would be my pleasure to talk to you about the serie. If not, it's fine too. I just wanted to make you compliments for your work! Thank you so much! ขอบคุณมากๆ น่ะค่ะ 🙏 I really enjoyed reading it and I've still many post to read. 😊
Okay, that's it! Hope your fine and still in love with BBS! 💖
เจอกันค่ะ คุณบี see ya, Bee 🐝
Hi dear @honey-beebs! สวัสดีครับ and welcome!😍
Awww, thanks so much for this lovely Ask. Any fan of BBS is immediately a friend in my book. 🥰 Thanks so much for appreciating my BBS research and analysis.
I can tell you also have a keen eye for research, because you saw not just what was there in my location posts, but also what was missing – Pat and Pran's families' shops. 👀 And sadly, that is the one location that I have been desperately searching for over these past two years, but have so far been unable to find. 😭
It's gotten me all worked up because there are actually a lot of clues, and I've been able to deduce quite a lot about the Jindapat and Siridechawat hardware stores:
It looks like the Jindapat one (belonging to Pat's family) is actually a construction material shop; the shelves and the items all around have been there for some time, not likely to have been cobbled together just for the show.
The Siridechawat shop though (belonging to Pran's family) looks like a covered vehicular park or outdoor storage, that BBS dressed up just so it could masquerade as a shop (not too successfully, in my opinion 😂).
The general location of the shops is likely to be not in Rangsit, but rather somewhere closer to central Bangkok (though not in the absolute city center). I say this because the outside shrubbery on the central road divider is very well-manicured (you see that more in central Bangkok, less in Greater Bangkok), and the lamp-post has markings that make it look more like central Bangkok ones. But there aren't any tall buildings visible, so it's not likely to be in the absolute city center where skyscrapers abound (and intrude on every view).
Actually, the road, trees, lamp-post and shrubbery look a lot like what you see at Phet Kasem Road, where the Boonyavej Hospital is located. There are lots of semi-industrial properties there that would fit the bill (including the wide gate and sturdy fencing), and the area is also more low-rise without being truly suburban (which would be the right setting for a shop that has giant billboards, that we can see in Ep.1 and Ep.3). Unfortunately, I've crawled the road several times over on Google Street View (it's hugely long) but have yet to find any matching property. 🤷♂️
If the shops are not on Phet Kasem Road, then it's very much a needle in the haystack search because Bangkok must have hundreds of roadway miles that fit the above description… 😭
Anyway, I'll still continue searching, and will post the location if I can find it. But with every day that passes, it seems less likely that the location will be found (because it seems ripe for redevelopment).
My location post no. 12 was dated 18 June 2023, and it's likely the penultimate one. I have just one more planned to identify the remaining minor locations. And if I can track down the hardware stores, then maybe I'll post a 14th one (but I don't know if that will ever happen 🤷♂️).
If my schedule permits, I'll try to write-up the few remaining locations that I've identified in the coming two weeks, so you should be able to refer to them by the time you're in Bangkok. But my work deadlines are looming, so I can't promise the post will be on time!
Please do post photographs of your trip and tag me, especially for the BBS locations. 😍 I would so love to see them. Other fans have also been visiting various BBS locations too, so you may wish to refer to these posts for additional information:

youtube
Here are a few more pointers that I've gleaned from the above posts, and from interacting with other BBS fans (especially @tiistirtipii), since I made my own location posts:
U Café is no longer at the base of the block where the fight scene in Ep.5 took place (somewhere close by the Environmental Engineering Dept), so the setting looks a bit different now. But it's near the white tiger mural at the College of Engineering.
Gram Café and Pancakes is no longer at Level 2 of The Promenade; it moved to the foodcourt (in Fashion Island?) some time back.
The 112 Chemical Room 1 in Ep.1 (where Pat covered Pran's mouth while putting a finger to his own lips, after yanking him into the alley to escape the other Engine boys) is most likely somewhere in Rangsit University (probably the College of Engineering, near the workshops) but I've never been able to pinpoint the exact location (Google Street View doesn't do all roads and side alleys in RSU 😂). Do let me know if you find it.
As for your other questions, I'm always down to chat about Bad Buddy. Still very much a BBS boy at heart, and time hasn't dimmed how much I love the series! 💖 So feel free to send me Asks and messages if you'd like to converse about Bad Buddy. The only caveat is (as I mentioned above) my work has been building up lately (this week has been a bit slower, but it is expected to get busier after mid-April 2024 😭), so my responses to Asks and messages will sometimes be delayed (as my other friends on Tumblr have also experienced).
Have a great time in Thailand! Your Tumblr header makes it sound like this might be your first trip there. Do take care! Thailand is an amazing place. The usual precautions apply, but the place is full of wonderful sights and delicious food. I've always enjoyed every trip there. 😍
Warmest regards,
Tel 💖
P.S. Can I say how much I also love your Tumblr name? My first instinct is to read it as Honey Beebs, but then on looking closer I can tell it's also Honey Bee + BBS, which is really clever. 🤩

Kelsey fondly recounts Ren tricking her into a 'first date' and when he asks about the cute waitress jokingly threatens to punch him. He says she'll never get close. He demonstrates that she can't lay a finger on him because he's too fast for her to catch.
On the one hand, this is magic amnesia Ren. On the other, it's the same 'let me assert my ability to physically dominate you so you know I can and will' bullshit that generally goes on. Anyway he grabs her hands and feels sick again so leaves.
They decide to go visit Phet again. For those who don't want to go back and check and/or can't remember (though Phet is burned into my memory), he's the durgamonk in the middle of the woods who speaks in what this author fondly supposes to be a strong Indian accent and proclaimed Kelsey the chosen one. Phet was adamant that only Kelsey and the tigerboys join.
I regret typing tigerboys because now all I can think of is that poor guy in rivers of london. Anyway.
Even though Ren and I were on much better footing and both brothers seemed to get along since our last road trip, I still felt a bit uneasy about being trapped in a small space with two hot-headed tigers. Well, if they act up, I’ll just blast them with a little lightning burn. That’ll teach them not to fight when I’m around, I thought with a grin and stepped into the morning sunshine.
This all seems very healthy with no worries about anyone in this weird relationship hurting anyone else no siree all copacetic here.
Multiple people had to approve that paragraph and they should not have.

VAJRASSATVA SHORT PURIFICATION PRACTICE
Visualise:
'Above the crown of my head, seated upon a lotus and moon seat, are Vajrasattva father and mother. Their bodies are white; each has one face and two arms. He holds a dorje and bell, she a curved knife and skull cup. They are embracing each other. The father is adorned with six mudras, the mother with five. He sits in the vajra posture, she in the lotus.
Vajrasattva is my root guru, the holy mind of all the buddhas, the dharmakaya, who out of his unbearable compassion, which embraces me and all other sentient beings, appears in this form to purify me and all others.'
In this way, your mind is transformed into guru devotion.
'On a moon disc at Vajrasattva's heart stands a HUM encircled by a garland of the hundred syllable mantra. A powerful stream of white nectar flows from the HUM and mantra garland and I am cleansed of all sickness, spirit harm, negative karma and obscurations.
Mantra:
OM VAJRASATTVA SAMAYA MANUPALAYA /
VAJRASATTVA DENOPA TITHA / DIDO ME BHAVA / SUTO
KAYO ME BHAVA / SUPO KAYO ME BHAVA / ANURAKTO ME BHAVA / SARVA SIDDHI ME PRAYATSA / SARVA KARMA SU TSAME / TSITTAM SHRIYAM KURU HUM / HA HA HA HA HO / BHAGAVAN SARVA TATHAGATA / VAJRA MAME MUNTSA / VAJRA BHAVA MAHA SAMAYA SATTVA AH HUM PHET
Practice the three techniques of downward cleansing, upward cleansing and instantaneous cleansing as you recite the mantra.
Guru Vajrasattva says, 'Son or daughter of the race, your negativities, obscurations and broken and damaged pledges have been completely purified.'
Guru Vajrasattva is extremely pleased with your pledge.
Vajrasattva father and mother melt into light and dissolve into you. Your body, speech and mind become inseparably one with Guru Vajrasattva's holy body, speech and mind.
'I vow never again to commit those negative actions from which I can easily abstain and not to commit for a day, an hour or at least a few seconds those negative actions from which I find it difficult to abstain.'
Dedicate.

HISTORY OF LUANG PHU TUAD OR LUANG PHU THUAT
Hundreds of years ago, there were four great revered Buddhist monks from Southern Thailand who earned the title of Somdet rank. These four great holy monks are listed as follow:
1. Somdet Chao Koh Yor
2. Somdet Chao Koh Yai
3. Somdet Chao Chom Thong
4. Somdet Chao Phra Kho - Luang Pu Thuat
In this instant, we solely base the history of Somdet Chao Phra Kho “ Luang Pu Thuat ”. According to legend, Somdet Chao Phra Kho attained his rank from King Maha Thammaraja of Ayutthaya and he was bestowed the official title Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan. Luang Pu Thuat was born on Friday in the year of snake, March 1582 AD at Baan Suan Chan, Chom Phol sub-district of Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province. His father Hu and his mother Chan named him Pu, Pu was the couple first child. Hu and Chan were very poor couple who works and lived in a farm house belongs to their wealthy landlord. When Pu was few days old, Chan took her little baby Pu out to the paddy field with her husband, before they start to work, Chan put her little baby Pu to sleep and leave him alone under a tree where she and her husband tended the paddy field, after working for a while Chan turned around and was shock to see her little baby Pu bringing curled up by a huge snake, whereupon she shouted her husband for help, with her crying voice, peasants nearby rush to see what is the commotion but were hold back by this fierce huge snake and none of them dared to go near and are helpless to do anything to help little Pu that were wrapped up by this huge creature. As a faithful Buddhist, Hu and Chan just hope and prays by offering food and flowers to this huge creature hoping that it would not harm and release little baby Pu, as they will waiting and wishing for miracle, they could see and sense that this huge snake clasped their beloved little baby Pu like a guarding angel. Soon after, this huge Snake released little Pu and disappeared into the bushes leaving behind a crystal ball beside little Pu. Hu and Chan was relieved of their ordeal and they went back home with Pu together with the crystal ball. When the landlord heard and learned about the crystal ball, he asks Hu and Chan to give it to him, the couple could not refuse the request and handed the crystal ball to him. The landlord was so happy to own and possessed the crystal ball but abnormal incidence started to happen to his family and his health condition keep him worrying, by then, he realised that he should not possessed the crystal ball that doesn’t belong to him, cause he believes by keeping it, there would be more disasters befall on him. Therefore, he decided to return the crystal ball to the Hu’s family, thereafter this unusual incidence ceased to happen to the landlord again and because of this bad incident, the landlord has changed his attitude and treated kindly to the Hu’s family.
When Pu turned seven year old of age, his parent took him to Wat Di Luang school for his primary education, he was the most smartest and cleverest student compared to other children in his classes, once Pu turned fifteen, the chief abbot of Wat Di Luang ordained Pu as a novice and later on brought him to Wat Si Yang to under studies Buddhism with Phra Kru Lattham Rangsri. At Wat Si Yang there was a group of monk’s educator from Krung Sri Ayutthaya who came to teach at Wat Si Yang where they found out Pu was a fast learner and very distinctive from other novices, Pu was elevated to higher level where he completed his Buddhist studies under Phra Kru Chuang guardianship. To achieve another level of Buddhist studies, Pu have to move to Wat Sri Ma Muang at Nakhon Sri Thammarat province to further his studies with Phra Kru Gha Ther. When Pu reaches the age of twenty he was ordained as a full status monk and was given the new title named Sameramo but many villagers tended to called him Sameram. The ordination ceremony were held at a small canal and were done on the raft which made of four small sampan tied up together. Later that small canal was named Klong Tha Pair to the present day.
The young monk Sameramo “Pu” completed his Dhammapada

[current boyfriend] Phet (Omega, dating for 8 months) Vee and Phet met at the gym, when Phet - an omega - signed up for a self-defence course. Vee was his trainer and the two became friends before their relationship developed into something more. While Vee cares deeply for Phet, he can't bring himself to introduce the omega to his family, which has caused slight problems between them. Also, recently, Phet revealed to Vee that he thinks he's found his true mate, and that Vee isn't him. They're still in a relationship because Vee is determined to prove Phet wrong, but it's a very rocky situation.
>> PLATONIC: >> BACKSTORY:
Vee was born as the second child of a traditional alpha-led household. His parents, Chakan and Pundit, met and mated very early on in their relationship, despite there not being much romance. Their first child, Sakda, was born while they were still living in the rice-farming province of Chaiyaphum, but they moved to Bangkok before Vee was conceived for better work opportunities. Chakan, Vee's father, eventually worked as a security guard and his mother, Pundit, remained a housewife to raise her two sons.
Despite there not being a big age difference between Sakda and Vee, the two brothers were totally different from one another since birth. Sakda was always loud and abrasive, while Vee was mostly quiet and observant. Sakda was the eldest but also the favourite, especially since he demonstrated what his parents called "alpha instinct" from an early age, whereas Vee did not.
When both the boys presented as alphas, they often butted heads and clashed verbally and physically, and their parents would never intervene saying that this was normal behaviour for alphas trying to exert their dominance in the household. Chakan would even encourage the children to fight harder, in order to build up their strength and resilience - which was something Vee hated while living at home. He was often picked on by all the members of his family for being so different, beaten by both his father and his brother for ever daring go against their strict and traditional mindsets, leading him to act out at school because of how frustrating his situation was at home. Weakness of any kind was a punishable offence.
When Vee was old enough, he left home to live alone, tasting freedom for the first time. His strict upbringing has not left him, but he challenges it every day, wanting to be a better person and promising to never be like his father if he ever decided to raise children. He doesn't believe that being an alpha means you're at the top of the food-chain, and he supports the rights of everyone in society, including omegas who want to work and succeed at a career instead of being a house-wife or house-husband. Vee does not voice these thoughts aloud when he is with his parents or his brother.
Currently, Vee is working as a self-defence/fitness instructor during the day and a bouncer at night.

Babiessss!!!
Story with it under the cut.
Wiz felt herself falling first, after her knees buckled. Strong arms caught her before she hit the ground and her head spun for a moment.
The last thing she heard before passing out was her best friends’ voice gently saying “I have you my friend.”
She awoke in the space with a start, then flinched as her body started aching something terrible. She closed her eyes, curling up on the ground and taking deep breaths as she waited for it to pass. Once it had, she didn’t feel too much better, having a headache and many bodily aches.
She sat up slowly, her torso swaying as she looked around the space. It seemed empty and quiet. She wasn’t sure what time of day it had been, just that apparently it was too early for anyone else to be in bed yet.
She swallowed dryly, looking down at the floor and froze. Her hands looked… odd. The color of her skin was darker and her fingers looked longer than they had been before. Her nails were also longer, and looked sharper than usual.
She stood slowly, supporting her trembling body on the wall as she trudged to the nearest bedroom where there was a floor-length mirror. She pressed her hands on either side of it and stared at herself in shock.
She looked so… different.
Her whole body had been changed, still subtly her, but oh so unfamiliar. The only retention of her previous skin tone was in the stripes that went down her limbs, tail, and forehead. It ended at the start of her snout which was longer than before, with newly sharpened canines that poked her tongue uncomfortably. Her tail was no longer short and stubby, but reached her knees. She looked taller and her plastron scutes were overlaid rather than pieced together. Her shell was mostly the same, if not slightly larger due to her increased height.
What terrified her more, tho, was just how thin she looked. Her shell almost looked too big for her, and she could see some of the bones in her arms and face.
She took a step back from the mirror, all the way to the door, and slid down it slowly. She put a hand on the back of her neck, sighing.
The worst part, the true cream of the crop, was that she had no earthly idea what had happened.
~~~
Aggie stepped into the space, looking around to find it empty. There didn’t seem to be anyone there yet at first glance, but he found one of the bedroom doors closed. When he tried to go in, he found it locked.
“Hello?” Aggie knocked on the door. “Anyone home?”
There was no answer, only a slight shuffling through the door. Aggie furrowed his brows. He didn’t have any way to tell who it was yet. He’d either have to coax them out or wait for the others to get there so he could use the power of elimination.
“Are you okay?”
Nothing. Aggie sighed. “Come on, I can’t help if you don’t let me.”
After a few more tries and no results, he sat outside the door, looking into the living room for whoever would arrive next.
Phet came first, giving him an odd look as he shrugged. The softshell quickly went about his business, grabbing Tiny when he arrived next to occupy another room. Bingo came after that, followed by his ghostly brother. Bingo trudged past looking more annoyed than usual, while Bluey stopped and waved to Aggie. Aggie waved back and gave him a small smile.
“What's up Aggie? You look like you’ve got something on your mind.” Bluey hovered over, curious.
Aggie looked at the door. “Someone’s been locked in here since before I came, but I haven't figured out who yet, and they won’t say anything or let me in. I think something’s wrong.”
“Want me to take a look?”
Aggie brightened. “Would you? Just be careful, I don’t think they’re up to talking.”
“I gotcha.” Bluey gave a thumbs up as he partially drifted through the wall. He peeked into the room to see someone curled up against the door, covered in a light purple hoodie, even their legs pulled up against their chest under it.
Bluey moved around silently, looking as much as possible while staying out of sight. He noted the strange tail that wrapped around the hoodie, too long to be anyone he recognized. Thoroughly confused, Bluey pulled back, looking at Aggie. “Did we get a new arrival recently?”
Aggie furrowed his brows, whispering his answer. “I don’t think so, we haven’t had any new Donnie’s since Bingo, and the last companion that was new was Bitey.”
Aggie narrowed his eyes. “I don’t really think any of our images could be changed enough to make us unrecognizable. That’d take quite the feat.”
“Jeez. I can’t recognize whoever’s in there, either we have a newbie or something… something happened.” Bluey shrugged with a slight cringe at his own mental image.
Bluey’s expression went flat with one raised brow. “Remember last time?”
Aggie raised his own brows. “You mean that big monster? What about it?”
“I'm just saying it’s possible ok.”
Aggie looked at him, concerned, before looking at the wall, trying to mentally figure out what he meant by that.
Bluey shook his head, already moving back through the wall. “Regardless, I'm gonna take another look.”
“Don’t spook them.” Aggie waved, getting up. “I’m going to see if anyone else has arrived.”
“Don’t worry Aggie.” Bluey reassured. “They probably can’t see me anyway.”
Bluey followed his previous pattern, floating just out of sight before deciding to risk it. He hovered in front of the new arrival with curiosity.
Their downcast reddish-brown eyes flicked up and locked onto him.
“Oh!” Bluey was taken by surprise and waved to the new face. “Hi, I didn’t-” Bluey cleared his throat before sticking a smile to his face. “I’m Bluey.”
Their face scrunched up, and a hand popped out of the collar of the hoodie, pulling the hood more over their face as they shook for a moment, letting out a few heavy breaths. “I know… I know who you are, Aciano.”
Bluey froze for a moment, his brain struggling to compute. “W-WIZ!?”
She flinched, curling up tighter in the hoodie.
“What happened!?” He rushed down to her side, trying his best to respect her space while searching for newer injuries. “Are you ok, are you hurt, what’s going on?”
“Haven’t the foggiest,” she shook her head. “I don’t remember anything.” she huffed, turning her gaze down.
Bluey took in everything new, from her striped tail to her snout, to the reddish tint to her eyes. It reminded him of the painful transformation she endured in her last visit. A brief thought passed his mind, ‘could this all be lingering effects from that? Will she ever go back to what she was before?’
“Is… is touch ok?” Bluey opened his arms to her. “Do you want a hug?”
She looked at him with a frown. “I don’t think I have the energy for the spell at the moment, sorry.”
Bluey took in a breath and focused, bringing Wiz into a hug.
She stiffened, surprised for a moment, before relaxing into his hold, letting her legs out of the hoodie so she was more comfortable.
Bluey moved to pull her closer, his hand brushing over her thinned arm. The alarm bells in his head were blaring as he pulled back to get another look at her. With a slight struggle he managed to push back her hoodie sleeve
She pulled her arm back, yanking the sleeve back down. “What are ya doing?”
“Wiz have you been eating? You’re so thin!” Bluey’s mom modeᵗᵐ was going full force.
She drew her shoulders up, hugging herself. “I- I don’t know. I don’t remember. I was only awake for a moment before coming here, everything before that just isn’t there.” she shook her head. “I don’t know.”
Bluey was pretty sure he felt his heart break. “I’m sorry.” Bluey retracted his hands.
She looked at him for a moment, then at the ground for a moment, contemplating something. Then she reached up, grabbing the shoulders of the hoodie and slipping it off, setting it on the ground in front of her. She kept her eyes on the ground, not looking at him as he got a full view of her body.
Bluey felt his breath hitch as his eyes widened, seeing every old scar in new light. Her face was a tint darker, her cheeks flushed from what he assumed was embarrassment. “Hey,” Bluey leaned down to try and meet her gaze, offering a soft smile. “It’s gonna be ok.”
She gave him a skeptical look before leaning forward a bit, offering to touch their foreheads together.
It took him a minute to be solid enough to oblige, and the warmth of her forehead took him by surprise. He almost lost his focus again, nearly phasing through her head. “Wiz are you sick?”
She glared at him. “Stop asking me questions I don't have the answers to.”
“Right, right. Sorry, I’m just worried for you.”
She nodded. “I don’t feel great, but I figure it has to do with whatever this is.” she motioned toward her tail. “Maybe Dad will make me some soup.”
“I’m sure he will if you ask, Bellflower.” Bluey hummed.
She nodded. Then she looked at the door for a moment. She shifted on her knees, and moved to unlock the door. Her arm trembled as she grabbed the handle, pulling it open before pulling herself up slowly.
Bluey stuck close, watching with concern. “Are you ok to walk Bell?”
She nodded stiffly as she held herself up on the doorframe, breathless. She had pulled the hoodie with her and managed to wiggle back into it. “I’m fine, just need to-” her knees buckled and she toppled to the ground once more. She managed to catch herself before she faceplanted, and supported herself with her arms, glaring at the ground. “Bloody hell, ya’d think this wouldn’t be that hard.”
“Yea, no. C’mere.” Bluey bent down to scoop her up in a bridal-style carry. “You are not walking.”
She squirmed for a moment, but ultimately surrendered, setting her head on his shoulder with a sigh. “This is humiliating.”
“It’s not the weirdest thing done here.” Bluey replied before he steadied himself, taking very controlled steps forward. With each step it became harder to keep a hold on wiz and not phase through her. Eventually he was stuck, unable to take another step without losing his hold on being solid.
“You okay?” she tightened her grip around his shoulders.
“Yep! Just kinda…” Bluey strained his voice as he tried not to lose his focus. “Stuck.”
“Set me down.” She narrowed her eyes. “Don’t drop me, please.”
“Not dropping you is specifically why I’m not moving.” Bluey gave her a look of his own.
She closed her eyes with a sigh. “Ya need dad?”
“… yes” Bluey looked rather embarrassed, despite not having the capacity to actually blush in any way. “Sorry about this. Hey Aggie!”
Wiz took a small breath in, pulling her hood up quickly and hiding her face in Bluey’s collar as Aggie ran in.
“What’s up? Did you-” Aggie looked at the ghost carrying someone and tilted his head. “What’s happening?”
“Long story.” Bluey rolled his eyes as he talked trying to seem as casual as he could. “I’m in a bit of a predicament. Can you call dad? Please?”
Aggie looked confused “uh, okay?” he ran back out, and several moments returned following Dad.
Dad, needless to say, was also confused about the person floating in the middle of the living room.
“I’m stuck.” Bluey chuckled awkwardly.
Aggie repeated it to dad, explaining that Bluey was there. After a short back and forth, Dad stepped around, gathering Wiz in his own arms and allowing Bluey to release her. Wiz shifted into the new hold, but remained silent and as hidden as possible.
Bluey released the tension in his arms when Wiz was lifted away. He nearly flopped onto the floor before he floated back up to Wiz’s level mouthing ‘I’m sorry’.
“So…” Aggie stuck by one of Dad’s shoulders, trying to get a better look at Wiz. “mind explaining a little more, Bluey?”
“Uh…” He looked to Wiz, unsure of what he could share. “It’s not really for me to tell.”
She tensed, curling up more and pointing at the couch. Dad looked at her neutrally, but followed the direction to settle her down in the cushions. He kneeled in front of her, keeping a hand on her shoulder as he turned to Aggie. “Aggs, could you go for a bit?”
“But how are you going to understand Bluey?”
“I’ll manage.” Aggie huffed, but obliged, exiting the room.
Dad turned back to Wiz, moving his hand to brush her cheek. “Hey Sweetpea. Are you feeling okay?”
Bluey did a double take, staring wide-eyed but unseen at dad. He knew.
Wiz looked at him, her mouth hanging open for a moment before she put a hand over it and looked at her lap, leaning into Dad’s hand.
Bluey watched, his stomach swimming with guilt. He didn’t mean for dad to recognize her all because he couldn’t do the simple task of walking.
“Hey,” Dad got up on the couch beside Wiz. “talk to me, honey.”
“Sorry.” she mumbled. “I didn’t expect ya’d recognize me.” She wrapped her arms around herself defensively.
Dad nodded, sympathetically. “Even if you look different, you’re still you. You have the same body language and build and look in your eyes.”
Another stab of guilt shot through his gut. Dad knew Wiz so well he recognized her so easily. Here he had tried to introduce himself as if she was a new arrival.
“What happened?” Dad asked.
Wiz shrugged. “I don’t know.”
Dad put an arm around her shoulders carefully, and after a second, put his hand to her head. “You have a fever. Are you feeling okay?”
Wiz shook her head.
“Want some soup?”
She nodded.
He stood up, wrapping a blanket around her before stepping into the kitchen.
Bluey watched Dad leave giving Wiz one more glance over before slowly drifting back to leave her be.
“Bluey.” She got his attention. He froze in place, not daring to move. “Stay? Please?” she looked down. “I’m not used to this.” she motioned her head toward the kitchen. “I feel less awkward with you around, at least.”
Bluey nodded, moving quietly back into her line of sight. “I’ll stay as long as you need me too.” He spoke with a smile, despite not being able to meet her gaze.
She watched him for a moment, then patted the spot next to her to invite him over. “c’mere.”
Bluey complied, setting himself in the spot she had patted, watching the kitchen door for dad.
“What’s on your mind, Cornflower?” she asked slowly.
“I… I feel bad. That I didn’t recognize you.” Bluey shrugged.
She was quiet for a moment, pulling her knees up to her chest. “I got here around noon, y’know.”
“That long?” Bluey’s head snapped back up to Wiz in surprise.
She nodded. “I’d just…” she shrugged “regained consciousness, i think? And I took two steps before I passed out.” she looked at her hands. “Everything hurt, I was terrified, and when I realized something was different I went to the bedroom to find a mirror.” She pressed her forehead to her knees. “I didn’t even recognize myself…” She glanced at him. “I’m not upset with you, just surprised with Dad.”
“I… still feel like I should’ve seen sooner.” Bluey looked wiz in the eyes with a small and soft smile and open arms. “But, I am here for you now.”
She raised her brows at him. “You’ve got me?”
Bluey made a humorous huff. “Yes, I’ve got you.” His smile widened, growing more earnest. “Always.”
She leaned into him, humming. “Always.”
There was an odd thumping behind them, and they turned to see that it was her new tail, hitting the cushion over and over.
She pressed a hand to it, pinning it down. “That’s not going to be inconvenient at all.”
Bluey chuckled, his own tiny tail moving a mile a minute. “Better watch out for that new whip.”
“Aggie is going to want to tie a bow on it.” she noted.
“Oh absolutely.” Bluey grinned. “Just hope he picks out a good color for you.”
She poked him with a finger. “You underestimate his fashion skills. He’s the only one here that would look weird without any on.”
Bluey shrugged. “Fair point.”
Her face fell, and she blinked. “How am I going to explain this to everyone?” she motioned at her body.
“I’m sure you’ll figure out something. You always do.” Bluey rested a hand on her shoulder.
She looked at the wall. “I think it was the mutant infection. Last thing I remember was going to April because I was sick and then…” she cut off, taking a deep breath. “Things started getting a little fuzzy.”
“So you don’t remember any of your last visit?”
She looked at him with furrowed brows. “The last time I was here, I was under the weather and everyone kept trying to push me into bed despite this being a dream.”
Bluey tapped a finger against his knee as he thought. He didn’t know if explaining her brief monster moment would upset her. “That’s… not exactly… hmmm” Bluey trailed off into humming
She sighed, sitting up and glaring at him. “What happened??”
“So, how do I put this delicately?” Bluey muttered, keeping a steady tapping. “You did show up another time between then and now… and you weren’t exactly yourself. ”
She closed her fists, looking down. “Was anyone hurt?”
“No, everyone was fine.” Bluey paused to think over his phrasing. “Let's just say you made quite the entrance.”
She looked at him sadly. “Did anyone know it was me?”
“Not to my knowledge.” Bluey shook his head. “I was really the only one to see you up close.”
She nodded. “Good. I wouldn't want anyone here having any more trauma just cause I was dumb.”
Bluey just nodded, not trusting himself to continue talking without upsetting her.
She was quiet for another moment. “I remember being in April's apartment, and my leg started really hurting.” She rubbed the still-there scar where the infection had entered her body. “The lights went out and…” her breath hitched. “Her and Casey went to the other room to look for flashlights. When it got worse I was… I was alone.”
“And your brothers?” Bluey’s brows knit together in concern.
“They were out trying to maintain the infected mutants. I threw up in the van so they dropped me off at Aprils. I think I interrupted their date and they were not very happy about it.” she sighed.
“I’m sure they didn’t really mind. They might’ve been a little upset but I severely doubt they would blame you. You were sick.”
“April didn’t seem too mad. Casey was. He said I was cramping his style.” She laid back on the couch.
“Ah Casey, as tactful as ever.” Bluey shook his head. “He’s not even my Casey yet I want to smack him upside the head.”
“He’s a good guy, just…” she shrugged.
“Blunt? Brash? A dumbass?” Bluey tried to supply.
“All of the above.” she sighed.
Bluey snickered. “Classic Casey. At least he isn’t much different.”
“Compared to yours?” Wiz scoffed. “He’s a saint.”
“Ha!” Bluey laughed. “My Casey is a menace.”
“My Casey is less of a menace and more of an awkward idiotic hunk.” she smiled fondly. “One time he was our distraction, entering a tech company to return a toaster as dramatically as possible. He ended up smashing it and the desk and took out two security guards before he was kicked out.”
“That sounds about right. Why did you guys need to be in a tech company anyway?”
“The first time we defeated the Shredder, Splinter disappeared, and we tracked him there.” she fiddled with her hands. “We needed to get April into the security room so that she could let us into the building.”
“Oh. That sounds…” Bluey held something between a smile and grimace. “Interesting. To say the least.”
“Turns out it was run by the Utroms, and run by Leatherhead's father, Professor Mortu.”
“Leatherhead has a dad?” Bluey blinked.
“Adopted dad. The Utroms took care of him when he mutated.”
“Oh. He’s a lot luckier than my Leatherhead.”
She looked at him, her face falling. “What happened to your Leatherhead?”
“He was stuck with the kraang, a lot less friendly than the utrom.” Bluey shrugged. “Also he’s a little feral, and not our age. More and more differences.”
“Oh-” her brows knit. “At the time LH was still missing, in Bishop's hands. I guess that’s one of those universal equivalents. The other things, not so much. LH does lose control sometimes, but not often.”
“Ours goes nuts at even a mere mention of the kraang.” Bluey cracked a smirk. “He has a bad habit of grabbing Bingo by the face.”
She laughed. “When LH loses control, it’s usually Mikey he ends up throwing around. That’s how we met him in the first place.”
“We met ours by Mikey bringing him home and he threw Bingo around a little.” Bluey shakes his head. “Bingo still holds a grudge.”
“That seems flipped.” She said, Bluey nodded at her. “At least your Bishop isn’t a psychotic conspiracy theorist.”
“Our bishop is actually an Utrom.”
“Ours would rather dissect Utroms.” she glared at the ground.
“Yeesh.” Bluey recoiled.
“He’s the one that started this whole mess!” she threw her arm out. “Staging an alien invasion, kidnapping the queen, then framing us for it.”
Bluey furrowed his brow, listened to Wiz rant.
“His stupid makeshift aliens blew up if they were hit too hard, and all their residue created the mutant outbreak.” she huffed, crossing her arms.
“Oh no.” Bluey gasped. “That’s what started…” Bluey trailed off not wanting to draw Wiz’s attention back to her situation.
“I hope Leatherhead was able to finish the cure I had started. I figure that’s how they turned me back.” she stared off into space.
“At least we know it works considering you’re… you.” Bluey offered.
“Mostly works.” she corrected.
“Right, right.”
She brought her hand up. “I still feel so different, weird…” she clenched her fist “angry.”
Bluey hums in acknowledgment as his brows draw up with concern. “You think you’re gonna be ok?”
She didn’t respond for a moment, continuing to look at her hand. “I’ll adjust.” She set her chin on her knees and wrapped her arms around them. “I always do.”
“I’m here to help you through it Bell.” Bluey offered his hand for her to mess with. “I promise to do my best to help you through things.”
She nodded, setting her hand in his. “We really should stop Aggie before he tells everyone there’s a new turtle.”
“Oh crap.” Bluey’s eyes widened. “I forgot he doesn’t know.”
“Would you grab him?” She asked. “Apparently I can’t walk.”
“Of course Bellflower. I’ll just be a second.” Bluey zipped off to find the young lizard.
As if sensing the end of the delicate conversation, Dad stepped out of the kitchen with a tray of soup, offering it to the turtle as Bluey lost sight of the two.
Bluey zoomed through the halls, passing through and promptly spooking multiple don’s before halting in front of Aggie. “Aggie wait!”
Aggie looked at him, interrupted mid-conversation. “What’s up Bluey? Is that turtle okay?”
“Yea she is! Uh also it’s a bit of a complicated situation.”
Aggie smiled. “That’s good. Are we okay to meet her now?” Wolf perked up from beside Aggie at the words, nodding eagerly in his direction.
Bluey thought a moment. “M-maybe. Not right now but in time. She does want to talk with you. I think.” Bluey mumbled the last sentiment.
“Me?” Aggie pointed at himself.
“Yes you. There’s some explaining that needs to be done.”
Aggie started following after him, telling Wolf to hang back. “Is she okay? Is she hurt?”
“She’s a little sick. Dad made her some soup.” Bluey avoided the dons he previously flew through.
“Ah.” Aggie put his hand over his mouth. “Do I need a mask?”
“Aggie you can’t contract anything here.” Bluey chuckled.
“Right…” Aggie frowned, dropping his hand. “Then how did she get sick?”
“She was already sick when she came in. It must’ve just stuck with her.” Bluey shrugged.
Aggie nodded. “Okay, anything else I should know?”
“Probably just.” Bluey halted outside the doorway poking his head in. “Give me one sec ok!”
“Ooh, announcing me?” Aggie teased.
“Something like that.” Bluey gave him a grin before floating back to Wiz. “I have aggie by the door, do you wanna explain it, or would you rather not? I just figured it’s not my story to tell.”
“I’ll explain.” She took a deep breath.
Bluey nodded going back to Aggie. “Alright bud, come on in. Just don’t flip out ok?”
Aggie came in, approaching Wiz slowly as Dad sat beside her, softly rubbing her shell.
“Uh-” Aggie fidgeted, unsure how to start any sort of conversation.
Wiz took a moment before looking up at him slowly, through her hood. “H-hey, Aggie.”
Aggie blinked, his whole body going rigid for a moment as his mouth fell open.
Then he flung his arms up in the air, dramatically shouting “WIZ?!” she flinched at the sudden reaction, recoiling further into the hoodie as Dad stiffened. Bluey floated next to Wiz offering his hand again.
“Aggie-” Dad started.
Footsteps were heard running towards the room as Wolf poked his head through the door. Mouse ran fully into the room with a questioning chirp. Phet also followed behind, curious about the commotion.
Wiz pulled the hood over her face again, her shoulders trembling as she muttered low enough for only Bluey and Dad to hear. “I didn’t want everyone at once…” Dad shifted, pulling her further back on the couch as he stood, blocking everyone’s view.
“Private conversation!” he said sternly. “Out, now.”
Mouse’s expression was extremely worried and sad. “Is she ok?” Wolf came over to promptly yoink him out of the room.
Wiz reached for dad. “It’s fine. Better now than never.”
Dad looked at her for a moment. “Are you sure?”
She nodded stiffly, and he stepped aside. “nevermind.”
Mouse inched forward, still staying a fair distance away.
Wiz looked up at him slowly, swallowing, before pulling the hood off slowly. “Hey, Mouse. Guess we’re more than book buddies now.” She gave him a tired smile.
Mouse made the smallest gasp as he quickly shuffled over to the couch. “What happened, are you ok?
“I’m- I’m not feeling great.” she admitted. “And I’m not sure what happened, I don’t remember.” she offered a darker colored hand out to him, inviting him closer.
Mouse promptly scuttled over to her, sitting next to her on the couch holding out his arms for a hug. She leaned into him, sighing as Phet stood by the door, looking confused but as understanding as he could get.
Mouse wrapped an arm around her, landing in an almost protective position over her shell. His expression changed as he looked her over for injury. “You’re thin… and a lot taller.” He hummed.
She nodded and Dad sat down on the opposite side again. “Dad and Bluey had to help me get in here.”
Mouse nuzzled his snout into her shoulder, squeezing her as gentle as possible. “I’m sorry Wiz.”
She relaxed into the touch. “I was the one at fault.”
“No-” Mouse’s voice was stern yet calm.
“Yes.” she interrupted. “I got infected by the mutant outbreak virus by that cut in my leg. I should have kept running tests instead of trusting just one, especially when I got sick.”
“That doesn’t make it your fault.”
She didn't respond, squeezing his arms.
Finally, Aggie spoke again. “You look… different.”
She looked over at him, Mouse feeling her tense.
“Not a bad difference!” he backtracked. “I mean, the tail is nice! It needs a bow like your mask. Where is your mask?”
“Aggie.” Dad smiled fondly at the child. “Stop digging.”
“Right.” Aggie looked around awkwardly, then gave Wiz a thumbs up “nice to meet you! I mean-” he clamped his mouth shut, taking a breath through his nose. Then he turned and robotically marched out of the room, red in the face.
Bluey stifled a giggle at Aggie’s actions. Wolf teased him a little as the young lizard left.
Wiz tapped Dad’s shoulder. “Think we can get everyone else?”
Dad nodded. “I’ll try. Not sure Bingo will want to come out.”
“He’s a bit… grumpy at the moment.” Bluey added.
Wiz hummed in acknowledgement.
“I’ll try.” Dad promised. “Don’t want any later confusion, right?”
Wiz nodded and Dad left to find the others, shooing Wolf and Phet from where they were spectating unless they had something to say. Wolf left to go tease Aggie further with a mischievous grin. Phet returned to The room he’d been in with Tiny.
Dad returned with Pup and Bitey in tow, leaving Tiny be since Phet locked the door. He also brought Poppy and a very reluctant Bingo.
Wiz once again sat stiffly with their eyes burning her skin. She didn’t look at them yet, unsure how the few that hadn’t come running when her name was said would react in comparison. Mouse gave her a reassuring squeeze that she returned with a deep breath.
Pup slunk closer, ever so slowly, until he bumped his snout against her shin, sniffing a moment. Then he perked, looking up at her with a smile and a chirp. She gave him a pat on the head.
Bitey crept over next prodding her arm with his snout with a curious chirp. She offered her hand for him to sniff and he pressed his head into her palm with a happy churr, almost petting himself with her hand. She pet him herself feeling the callous skin of his scars and he pressed his cheek into the contact. He made a plethora of happy noises with a smile that she mirrored. Pup shifted, laying against one of her legs and offering a spot next to him for Bitey. He joined pup when Wiz’s hand got tired and the pets died down.
She looked up to see Bingo studying her with a critical gaze.
“You brought me out here to see that Wiz got an upgrade?” He gave dad a dramatically offended expression. “She looks great but I have important things to be doing!”
“I brought you out here,” Dad narrowed his eyes at the teen, challengingly. “So that there won’t be any future confusion should anyone not recognize her.”
“Yea cool whatever.” Bingo waved dad off as he turned to leave. “You look great, Wiz! Glad you’re not grievously injured or whatever.”
Dad went to move after him but Wiz stopped him. “Don’t. He saw, he’s fine.”
~~~
The next visit had Bluey pacing, waiting for her to show up. She had to show up. Was she already there, like before? He checked the rooms over again and again just to be sure.
He zipped over upon hearing the chime like he’d already done three times. Wiz was standing there, yes, standing, with her mask returned and her tail wagging behind her.
“Hey, Bluey!” she smiled, and offered her arms for a hug.
Bluey crashed into her arms with a smile. “Wiz! You’re doing better, you’re standing this time!”
She nodded, stepping back and spinning. “I’m working on it. I still need to regain some more muscle mass, but I’ll be okay.” She looked at him. “I’m okay.”
“I’m glad.” Bluey smiled wide, his own little tail wagging fast.
“I need to keep moving around to gain my strength back,” she stepped over to a table, summoning something Bluey couldn’t see past her. “I don’t know if that applies in the space, but I guess there’s only one way to tell.”
There was a click, then some pop music began to play from the radio she’d set up. She turned to him, holding her hand out.
“Dance with me?”
“W-what?” Bluey chuckled with a lopsided grin. “Yeah, sure, but why me? I can’t dance worth a shit.”
“Who else am I supposed to ask, Bingo, Dad???” She was naming the worst options, and he knew it, taking his hand and pulling him in a circle.
Bluey laughed as they spun.
“Tell me why?” She motioned her fist toward him like a microphone.
“Ain’t nothin but a heartache!” Bluey belted out on near instinct before mimicking her movements. “Tell me why?”
“Ain’t nothin but a mistake!” she grabbed his free hand, swinging it side to side. “Tell me why.”
“I never wanna hear you say!”
They both spun and pressed their shells together, singing the next line at the same time. “I want it that way!”

Too kind for some
Atisha say that the non dharmic those who wasted they karma and are able to wasted our practice our karma, we need to smile at them laugh with them but never forget what we are for. Sadly I live in fachist Uk where some idiot established an Idiocracy since 16 and talk saying words that they don't like because I am foreigner for them “ I am guest in this country" those peoples are ready to lie to my kids about me. They think they got power because a temporary facist government is here, well ngakpa work with gods, nagas and plus more. Wondering why some felt sick read what's happening if you hurt a yogi not the yogi will do nothing he/she don't need but those who watch after his temporary body he got to practice Dharma . Last story of those who tryed to anoid nagas had cancer water turns black I was witness of this long a go .
The Reliances of the yogi when things fall a part and those who never practice Dharma get at you, yogi stay on the only things he always rely on the deity who never judge him/her who will never ever give up the yogi. What's does that's mean fiew years done the line had a court judgement due to a car accident but that doesn't have turn the way some will think, mantra as usually do had change for because I had good faith and ones again during that story was the story of the Foreigner the one who protect me had destroyed those who tryed to destroy the yogi.
Yes we get squash we got tones of trouble but yogi never ever rely on anyone else than his lama and the deity because that the only things he / she knew are true.
All those non permanent things like body, house car and whatever else are like in the infinite saga turn to ashes at some point.

this is an unimportant q in the grand scheme of things, but did mr. kadam know that kelsey was ~the chosen one~ before dragging her overseas??? or did he just look at this literal child who thought the tiger was cool and think "yeah, this is a good idea! :)" and it just turned out that she was the superspecial reincarnation/avatar/whatever of the queen/goddess/whatever??????
“Numerous year in the past, Anik Kadam pursue remedy to comfort Ren. I advise him Durga be partial to tiger, but no one can alleviate him. He ask me what can he do? That nighttime, Phet dream two tigers, one pale like moon, one black, night resembling. Durga speak softly my ear. She say only special girl can break curse. Phet know girl is Durga’s favored one. She struggle for tiger. I tell Anik: watch for goddess’ special girl. I give indication—girl alone, brown hair, dark eyes. She be devoted to tiger, and her utterance are powerful like goddess melody. Help tiger be free again. I tell Anik: discover Durga’s favored one and bring to me.”
Houck, Colleen. Tiger's Curse (Book 1 in the Tiger's Curse Series) (pp. 129-130). Splinter. Kindle Edition.
So I guess Mr. Kadam saw a chick with brown eyes and brown hair who was Way Too Into Tigers and figured, “what have I got to lose?”

Pra Phuttha Sihing
The Pra Phuttha Sihing is a highly revered image of the Gautama Buddha in Bangkok, Thailand, second in importance only after the Emerald Buddha. The image is currently housed at the Phutthaisawan Hall (formerly a part of the Front Palace), now the Bangkok National Museum. The image was brought to Bangkok from Wat Phra Singh, Chiang Mai in 1795 by Viceroy Maha Sura Singhanat, the brother of King Rama I.
History
The exact provenance of the Pra Phuttha Sihing image is still in question. The name Sihing comes from Sinhala the name of several kingdoms in Sri Lanka. According to legend the Pra Phuttha Sihing image was created in Sri Lanka around 157 A.D. and was brought to Thailand in 1307 to Sukhothai. Later it was relocated to Phitsanulok, Ayutthaya in 1378, Kamphaeng Phet in 1382 and Chiang Rai in 1388, before it was brought back to Ayutthaya again and then back to Chiang Mai in 1407, where it was enshrined at Wat Pra Singh.When King Narai conquered Chiang Mai in 1662, he brought the Buddha image back to Ayutthaya, where it was enshrined for 105 years at Wat Pra Si Sanphet until the Fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, following which, the people of Chiang Mai brought the Buddha Sihing image back to Chiang Mai.
In 1795 the image was taken from Chiang Mai by King Rama I and his brother the Viceroy Maha Sura Singhanat to Bangkok, as war booty.[4] At first the image was enshrined at the Front Palace of the Viceroy, after his death in 1803 the image was moved to the Wat Phra Kaew in the Grand Palace by Rama I. It remained there until 1851, when King Mongkut raised his younger brother Prince Chutamani to the unprecedented rank of Second King Pinklao. In order to celebrate the newly elevated status of Pinklao, King Mongkut gave the Second King the Pra Phuttha Sihing image. Considered the second most important Buddha image after the Emerald Buddha. The image was then taken back to the Front Palace (now the palace of Pinklao), where it was housed in the Phutthaisawan Hall, where it remains today.
Apart from the aforementioned image in Bangkok, at least two other images in Thailand are identified with the Pra Phutta Sihing. One at Hor Prabhut Sihing, Nakhon Si Thammarat and the other at Wat Pra Singh, Chiang Mai.

CHAO KHUN NOR OF WAT THEP SIRINTHRAWAT
Chao Khun Norrarath Rachamanit (Chao Khun Nor) was born on Saturday, 5th Febuary BE2440 and was the eldest of the family of 5 children. He was in the first group of students of the 1st Official University of Kingdom Siam, later known as Chulalongkorn University. After completing his studies, Chao Khun Nor became an officer of the Royal House of King Rama VI. He became the closest attendant to the King and he was promoted to serve at the King’s chamber and attended to the King’s daily needs. After the death of the King Rama VI, Chao Khun Nor was devastated. He left the palace in BE 2468.
His parents wanted him to get married with a lady teacher after seeing Chao Khun Nor was in lament over the death of the King. However, before the marriage would be engaged, Chao Khun Nor told his parents that he wanted to enter monkshood.
Chao Khun Nor ordained on 23th March BE 2468 at Wat Thepsirintravas, a day before King Rama VI was cremated. He became a monk as thamboon (making a merit) for the King Rama VI. Chao Khun Nor was a devoted vegetarian who consumed only a meal a day and decided never to leave the monkshood. He was ordained by Somdej Phra Buddha Ko-sacharn (Charoen), who was also his preceptor. Phra Putwiriyaaigon, the abbot of Wat Sommanatwiharn and Phra Udon Seelahkon Wat Thepsirin were the Dhamma teachers.
STRICT OBSERVANCE OF THE 227 PRECEPTS
It is widely believed that Chao Khun Nor could accurately predict the future by looking at finger and palm prints. When the villagers heard of that ability, all of them flocked to the temple asking him to tell them their future but they were declined by Chao Khun Nor. Despite that, many people continued to visit Chao Khun Nor very often even though they know that they will most probably go back empty handed. They all came for an assortment of reasons ranging from offering presents, to seek a guidance about their problems and to ask Chao Khun Nor about their future lives. Chao Khun Nor was very uncomfortable, pity and sad with all these human beings.
When the villagers offered things to Chao Khun Nor, Chao Khun Nor advised them to bring those to other monks as he strictly observed the 227 provisions of moral precepts. Chao Khun Nor also mentioned that one would similarly accumulate merits when giving offerings to other monks. This made the villagers unhappy and felt that Chao Khun Nor looked down on them. They people brought the matter up to Somdej Phra Buddha Kosacharn (Charoen).
When Somdej Phra Buddha Kosacharn heard this, he asked Chao Khun Nor about this matter. Chao Khun Nor explained that the reason he did not accept the offerings or attendance from the villagers because he was ordained for the purpose of making a merit to King Rama VI. Besides that, he also needed to maintain good concentration in order to study the teachings of Buddhism. In order to succeed, he needed to have no connections to the outside world. All the people who came to visit him brought along the troubles of the world, which adversely affected his concentration. When Somdej Phra Buddha Kosacharn heard his reason, he sympathized and agreed with him.
Chao Khun Nor had strictly observed the 227 precepts, he did not accept any form of offerings from the villagers. The room in which he lived was very empty and consisted of only the basic necessities. There was even no electric lighting. Chao Khun Nor did all his readings in the daytime. When Chao Khun Nor went back to his room, he would lock the door and stay inside. No one ever knew what he did in his room and he never came out to receive guests. He never accepted anything from anyone with the exception of his nephew who would bring vegetarian food from his mother. Chao Khun Nor spent most of his time in his monk’s house.
At the temple, they placed some skeletons of dead people to aid the monks in the development of their insight. The intention was to remind the monks that the female body would eventually resemble this ugly state so that they will refrain from sex and impure thoughts as well as to reinforce the rule of impermanence. LP Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho Ayutthaya also practiced in such a manner.
WATER AFTER WASHING CHAO KHUN NOR’S FEET COULD CURE SICKNESS
It is a daily routine for Chao Khun Nor to walk back to the monk’s house. There were 2 things that were significantly different with him. Firstly, he did not wear any slippers like the villagers and walked around barefeet. The second and most remarkable was that he always walked on tip-toes and his heels never touched the ground. No one knows why he walked like that but it was assumed that it was a kind exercise for his leg muscles. Before stepping into the monk’s house, he would wash his feet in a basin and dry them.
A village was hit by a deadly disease and one of the villagers was instructed to bring an empty bottle to Chao Khun Nor to ask for some holy water to try to cure his fellow villagers but was declined. The villager had no idea what to do and how to get holy water from CKN to appease the villagers. Out of desperation, he decided to take water from the basin used for washing Chao Khun Nor’s feet and brought it back to his place to give to the sick. Nobody knew the origins of the water and what it was used for. After those sick people drank the water which they thought was holy water given by Chao Khun Nor, all of them were miraculously cured. This greatly puzzled the man who brought back that water to the village.
When this rumor spread out, people who heard it, then all rushed towards Wat Thepsirin to ask Chao Khun Nor for this special holy water but he denied having given any to anyone much to their disappointment. When the villagers heard Chao Khun Nor’s reply, they were all very confused as to where the holy water came from.
The monk staying next to Chao Khun Nor couldn’t stand it anymore as more and more people flocked to the temple and decided to clarify to the villagers once and for all that Chao Khun Nor had never given any holy water to anyone. However, there was one man who came to beg for it but was declined. He also witnessed the same man taking the water from Chao Khun Nor’s feet washing basin but at that time, he did not know what the man was doing.
When the origins of the “holy water” was established, all the villages rushed to take water from the basin. Some waited around for it to be filled up and immediately emptied the basin. This made it a very hectic job for the person responsible for topping up the basin as he had to do it numerous times a day. Finally, the basin was placed in Chao Khun Nor’s room to stop all trouble.
MIRACLE AT THE AMULETS BLESSING CEREMONIES
There were reports of strange incidents happening when Chao Khun Nor made incantations. On the fateful day of Saturday, 25th April BE2513, a photographer was assigned to take photographs of him consecrating a batch of amulets and was busy snapping pictures of the long and elaborate process until it was finished. After the photographs were developed, there was something strange and remarkable about a picture in which Chao Khun Nor was sprinkling holy water on the amulets. The wooden brush that was used to sprinkle holy water emitted white light from its tip. There were many people who were present at the ceremony but the light was not seen by anyone there. It only showed up on the picture. Everyone was amazed as they could not find any logical explanation for this. However, everyone agreed that it could not have been caused by the actual physical sprinkling of holy water itself.
There was another strange incident on Saturday, 5th December BE 2513. There was a big ceremony at Wat Thepsirin and many people came to witness the event. Chao Khun Nor announced that it was going to be the last time he was going to make incantations for the blessing of amulets. In a photograph, the flames from the candles which were lined up directly in front of the principle Buddha statue were “swaying” as if there was a strong wind blowing. However, all the windows and doors were shut during that time and there was no wind at all. The flames should have been completely still. Everyone who was at the ceremony were astonished when the picture was shown. This particular picture was taken when Chao Khun Nor was making incantations in front of the principal Buddha image in a temple and Chao Khun Udomsarasophon was blessing the amulets with holy water.
Based on the pictorial evidence taken during the ceremony, there was widespread belief that the strange incidents were the result that Chao Khun Nor was already an arhat.

hi so ive been studying thai cultures of sexuality and gender for my (kind of not really) college thesis and obviously my research had been little limited because of the lack of english papers on the subject (so !! if you're thai and LGBT+ PLS correct me) but one thing that i've been wrestling with in criticisms of this show is how people have rallied against wife/husband discourse because it feels like a very Eurocentric look at how people express their sexualities. (And +
this comes from someone who hates top/bottom + wife/husband gendering myself!) Thai conceptions of gender/sexuality don’t really fit into the categories of LGBT(+) as easily as believed, especially since the terms people used can often differ based on the sexuality and gender of WHO they’re attracted to and also on the presentation of gender rather than what people feel they are! +
(Also the word phet means both gender AND sexuality, meaning there is not often a distinction between gender/sexuality and boy can you tell I have nothing to do with my time) Which is oh my god confusing but to give an example, when gay was first introduced as an identity marker people began to refer to themselves as “gay kings” v “gay queens” based on which dude was the sexually receptive partner. +
Lesbians are also gendered in a similar format: “tom” tends to refer to butch lesbians (and can sometimes be seen as part of the overarching kathoey third gender) and “dee” refers to femme lesbians. To clarify, I am Indian-American and therefore would solidly punch someone in the face if they tried to classify me and my (nonexistent lol) partner as the “wife” v “husband,” +
especially when the roles you take in bed become an essential part of how you communicate your identity within the gay community. In the states, you can call yourself a lesbian without having to qualify how butch or how much of a top you are, in Thailand the words themselves inherently hold that connotation. Not saying its right, but there is cultural precedent that I think is interesting to explore in asking WHY this trope is so common. +
I know there have been certain shows that have had characters say that they are bi/gay (ie. Mean’s character from UWMA, Ohm’s character from HCTM) but these are not words that originated from Thailand itself, they are loan words from English. That’s not to say they’re invalid in any aspect, but that DOES say that while people who do fall into gay/bi categories may have existed, there was little/no direct translation for these words in thai until the 1960s. +
When gender and sexuality are not considered distinct categories but are rather all lumped under the term “phet,” it is therefore Hard in Thailand to lump people together as ie. Bi without having an additional sex and gender qualifier in the term. “Seua bai” (which means bi tiger and wtf why is that SO cool) refers to /masculine/ bi men, but seau bai are also not seen as completely male because, +
again, seau bai as a phet implies that they are not 100% phu chai - male - which really only refers to heterosexual men. SO while I would love to see tine/sarawat say that they are bi/gay, I’d also equally love for them to express that they are bi/gay with terms inherent to thai, bc I think that offers a really interesting perspective to int fans (and straight thai fans who are unaware) on how gender/sexuality can be different in other cultures. +
They could also offer criticism on these terms if they feel too narrow, which would be really valuable coming from thai writers/producers themselves. Anyway I thought this would be good food for thought, and if LGBT+ thai people have different perceptions PLEASE talk about it if you feel comfortable bc your experiences and knowledge are very valuable and appreciated! Hope this was interesting, sorry for all the spam! i love ur blog rahul -bear
ah thank you so much for this! i have been wondering about this as well recently as more east asians have been speaking up about sexuality and gender in their cultures and how that doesn’t coincide with how westerners express their sexuality and gender. i mean, there are terms that overlap (in indian culture, we have some of those as well, but then we also have hijra and thirunangai and thirunambi in tamil culture) but there are some words exclusive to thai culture specifically. this was great food for thought and i’ll be more careful in the future when it comes to expressing my thoughts on terms for sexuality in bl shows.
i think it would be really interesting to see these terms used and criticised, if need be, by actual thai lgbt writers and producers. it would be nice to see more of thai culture paid homage to in shows like these and to see the search for labels or terms that fit oneself, i know that has been hard for me personally considering english terms as well. the way we perceive gender and sexuality tends to be very eurocentric and sometimes we need to realise that we need to see things through a different lens and the influence of culture and society on the reason why a lot of these characters don’t use fixed english loan words to describe themselves. this was a super interesting read, thank you! i should have educated myself on it earlier as i got more into this fanbase, but thank you so much for coming along and providing us this information :’)
furthermore i think it would be interesting, as you said, to get input from actual lgbt thai people on this! so if you are lgbt and thai, feel free to send me an ask talking about your experiences and journey with terms and labels, both thai and english, if you feel the want to. y’all always have a platform here with me and i will try my best to provide my insight as well if asked or needed, be respectful, and listen! your knowledge and inputs are very much appreciated, especially when it comes to shows like these and the sometimes unfair criticism they get from people with a western-centric point of view.
thank you once again, my friend!
#super interesting read !! thank u for opening my eyes to this even when you didn't need to#bearsippingtea#rahul answers#ref#asian tag#mlm tag

"Kieran's idea of a pink shirt?" Felix quipped but knew who his brother really meant. "I thought Owen and her were fine? Last I heard." he added, not that he particularly cared. And his outdated knowledge perhaps showed how invested he ever was. "Maybe they're trying to be the new Jet and Seraphina. How come those two never had a relationship name? Set? Oh...Phet? Like Fentanyl or is that...too close?" he gave his brother a smirk, which faded as Jakob handed him a perfectly measured glass of whiskey. "Grow up." Felix sighed, leaning then so a long arm could reach for the whiskey bottle and he could serve himself.
Leaning closer meant Felix was privy to a slight twitch of his brother's lip and a particularly prolonged hum that he wanted to ignore. "I don't believe Ines would say such a thing. She's great." he said and then, Felix took an exaggerated gesture around him at the lack of Bella. "But yeah, we're tied at the hip." he commented dryly, knocking back the whiskey and already topping up the glass. "Are there shot glasses behind there? May as well have a slight celebration for..." Felix paused, head tilting either side subtly as he thought. "The things there are to celebrate."
A laugh escaped him at Jakob's pose, and Felix nodded his head as his phone was tucked away to his pocket. "Barstrom." he declared the new name for the bar. "I bet if you could prove impressive profit predictions, Auschwitz won't even be mad. Since you're her precious angel boy." Felix teased, giving his little brother a wider smirk.
"I think she's already going crazy. Hundred bucks if you can guess who's the culprit." Jakob says with a snort. Owen and Zari do this all the time. The constant back and forth creating ripples all around them until they decide to stop acting like they hate each other. "She's too busy with Nico to notice anyway." He'd caught a glimpse of her dancing with Ines' cousin and had simply sighed. Now he shrugs in turn. "Well, more for me then." Jakob says, pouring hearty glasses for himself and Ines before scoffing at his brother. He makes a point of giving him just the right amount before handing it over. "Cheap bastard." There's a grin on his face as he says it before a smirk forms from the more wholesome smile.
He's immediately picturing Ines and then, well, other parts of Ines at Felix's question. "Mmm, waiting for me. Said she didn't want to be one of those go everywhere together couples like you and Bella," he teases his brother, still elated for the news of their engagement. If anyone deserves to be happy it's Felix. When the older Ranström pulls out his phone, Jakob poses with the bottles, one tipping into his mouth, the other over the glass. "Believable enough?" He cackles and hands Felix his glass. "Maybe I'll get Tarquin to get some branding stuff together. Say I'm following my dream to open a bar. See what they say." Maybe it's the alcohol or their time in Sweden, but even saying such an idea is a change from the youngest Ranström who usually fell in line behind their parents.
