Since the start Kane portrayed Eliot’s shame and guilt of leaving his father as a consequence of his decision, while struggling through it all holding on to the grief of losing his mom. Now after all this time showing us his heart, we got to see the hero he’s been trying to live up to. They did the story justice

like, at most, the only monster collecting series ive grown up on were like. bakugan. pokemon. maybe even yugioh (only thru ygotas & the occasional reruns on the cw kids before that stopped being a thing)

i think im only a lil bit interested in checking out the ygo manga only because of season 0 and the darker earlier arcs before duelists kingdom. and then mayhaps i'll switch to og ygo or ygotas. maybe i'll even check out gx or 5ds if those still hold up
