been playing catz 2 again lately.... honestly was worried i'd ruin a bit of childhood, but it's held up surprisingly well imo! here's toby and daisy <3

#art #sketch #petz catz 2 #petz dogz 2 #ivlet #fanart #yknow i goof often about how i used to be little 10 year old furry #i had my like. four different fursonas (all cats with fairy wings and swords)#but i dont talk as often about the specific type of 10 year old furry i was #i drew normal fursona athros yeah. but i was also HARD into the like #animated wolf series on youtube made in ms paint... community #and honestly any animal or anthro based animation situation a la fairy foxes #my wolves...i dont wanna call then sparkle dogs mine were too simple and i didnt draw many accessories #but they sure were magic demon angel fairy wolves and they sure were colourful #i tried making an animated series multiple times but the problem was i was 10 and very disorganized sjbfdjsjfbf #so i think only like a couple 30 second clips were ever finished #my main wolf was a dark teal with cyan stripes wolf named Mist and she could hope into a shadow dimension #anyway i got sidetracked what im saying is.#not to toot my own horn but im pretty decent at drawing wolves for someone who never draws wolves #and that is purely because i cut my teeth on colourfuk wolf oc drawings....i was raised in this world

Owie this drawing killed me So, yeah. Petz Catz 2. This game was the pinnacle of my childhood and made me who i am today, and i have zero regrets whatsoever. I remember being excited playing through the world, finding all the fruits/vegetables, plants, fish and bugs, meeting the characters, and listening to the music. Sometimes i'd have my mum play the most difficult tasks and/or tasks involving being near dangerous animals, because i feared my cat would die (Yeah i was a coward as a child) and remember crying over loosing save files in the game due to us not having a memory card at the time. Thanks to this game, my love of cats, wolves and most importantly video games grew. I have a lot to thank because of this game. I remember my first cat was a black cat named Sarah Foun, but of course, we lost her due to not having a memory card. So, when i finally got a memory card, the first cat i ever saved on such card was Crystal Thunderjewel, who is depicted above, in the middle. I wanted to post this to the discord my friend @northpawville made but they shut it down before i could finish this, which is a bummer.

None of the characters belong to me, yet exceptions apply with main character, who is customisable.
