I was very nostalgic over the HTTYD book, but unfortunally the collection I read as a child belongs to my brother and is with him back home. Except this week I discovered the David Tenants audibook and that someone slime tutorial-ed them.

So now I'm listening to "How To Be A Pirate" and as someone who read the books soon after the first movie (and loved the books so much) I always knew Toothless is a very diferent characther (and look movie Toothless is lovely and very sweet but book Toothless is my child, my lil chaos greemlim) but only know I actually got the difference:

Movie Toothless is a very smart pet while book Toothless is a very energetic human toodler in dragon's form. Fifteen years old Hiccup got into the florest and found a very well-behaved and smart if dangerous pet, lifetime companion and best friend. Ten and half years old Hiccup was throwned into a dragon's nest and now he is responsable for a feral two to five years old who can fly, eats A LOT and breaths a tiny bit of fire. He got the job of a pareting older brother and everyone else acts as if he either got a pet or a servant while he is trying to convince his toddler-dragon that showering is important.

Sunflowers

Last week, my girlfriend said she had a surprise date planned for us on Saturday. I was so excited! She knows how much I love surprises. The only information she gave me was to dress pretty, because we were going to be taking lots of pictures!

Since she was surprising me, I wanted to get her a little surprise too. I went to the store with my mom, and I picked out some flowers for her. I got two little bundles, one with pastel pink flowers, and one with light green flowers. I picked those two specifically because pink is her favorite color, and green is mine, so together it made the both of us! When we got home, my mom helped me cut them, and I arranged them in a small vase for her.

When my girlfriend came to pick me up, I gave her the flowers and she loved them!! Which I knew she would because she loves flowers, and it's been a while since I've been able to get some for her.

Then for her surprise to me, she took me to a sunflower field!! She knows they're my favorite, and knew that she wanted to take me there. I adored every second of it, we wore pretty dresses, got lots of pictures, and we even got to each cut our own sunflower! I got a teeny one, while she got one bigger than her face.

It was so peaceful. Walking through the tall flowers, hand in hand, made it seem like we were the only two people left on earth. Like those sunflowers were all that was left. It felt so lovely to be there with her.

Thinking about the potential of what an Earnest Lumity convo might look like in the club tonight. Amity telling Luz that she isn't afraid of her anymore, and Luz being like "No that's wrong you shouldn't NOT be afraid of me. I could hurt you. this ask made me pull up my outline again to see what exactly i'd jotted down.... luz keeps being like "if we're going to talk for real, i need to not be the empress right now, i need you to be able to say no to me" and amity is like "okay. you're just luz" and then every time amity says something to the effect of "i want nice things for you," luz is like "i'm not the empress right now-" & amity is like. I KNOW >:C

and amity, who's spent a good chunk of her time in the coven fretting about nothing BUT all the awful selfish things luz can do to hunter, is like.
