I think I’ve been reading too much Hunger Games fanfiction lately. After a childhood best friend of mine visited my mom and I yesterday, I had a dream with her, myself, Katniss, Peeta, Annie and Finnick in it.

It kind of turned more mobster than actual Hunger Games for it. There were performances in like a theatre/Olympics type of setting. Annie and Finnick were on like the same gymnastics team sort of thing and after they announced their pregnancy (and the fact that they were together at all) it placed them in a very dangerous situation. Which ended up with their baby being taken from them a few months after the baby boy was born. So my friend, Katniss, Peeta and I arranged to meet with this other group of mobsters to try and get their baby back.

Good morning Amity Park, I'm your weatherman, Lance Thunder. Today's Wednesday, January 18, and there is a 70% chance of rain. Highs are in the high thirties while lows are in the mid thirties.

A talking bipedal cat ghost appeared in the Casper High cafeteria during lunch yesterday and started screaming and sobbing about a breakup. It is completely unknown why this happened. No one seemed to recognize this ghost and he seemed very distraught. Eventually one student by the name of Dashiel Baxter led the ghost out of the cafeteria to talk about it.

Seven guinea pigs and twelve parakeets were stolen from Petland yesterday. It is unknown who did it or why. No clues or tracks were left behind.

The Fentons will likely not be driving today so the roads are safe.

Last book you enjoyed: the last actual physical book i read and enjoyed was probably the ballad of songbirds and snakes by suzanne collins, the prequel to the hunger games trilogy. absolutely incredible 10/10 i loved it

Favourite thing to cook/bake: i hate cooking and baking 😅 i guess a crock pot stew cause i can dump everything in a pot, turn it on low for 8 hours and call it a day 😂

Favourite craft to do in your free time: does writing count as a craft? if it does then writing 😂 if not uhhhh idk i spend most of my free time reading or writing lately

Most niche dislike: this is a good question! corporate pet retail i think honesty. i've been working in the pet industry over 5 years and it's actually super disgusting how common neglect and abuse is. fuck petsmart and petland and any other retail store that sells live animals! adopt don't shop!!!

Opinion on circuses: i've never gone to one but i'm against most things that involve animal captivity so i'm gonna say a vague negative opinion

Seigo glanced over at the hole ridden box in the corner of the room. He could hear sounds coming from within, scratching and chittering. It felt like something would emerge from the box at any second. The chittering... sort of cute. The scratching sounds? Very unsettling, reminded him of the horror movies his cousin Shinra made him watch at the last group movie night.

A part of him still refused to believe this was truly happening. A mixture of anger, joy, and pure confusion swirled in his mind, each emotion fighting for dominance. He hated asking for help. He should have been able to manage this on his own. Truly. He just needed to work harder, right...?

And so he went over to the box, scooped up the contents, and gently dropped them into the pocket of his dress shirt. He picked up the long list he created, grabbed his wallet and keys, then stepped out the door. With his thorough research, it should be more than manageable.

Perhaps he overestimated himself, or rather, underestimated the wonderland of pet stores. So many different noises, colors, and smells. So many different options for every single thing on his list. As much as it pained him to admit, he needed to ask for help.  The warmth by his chest, the gentle movement in his pocket... that little life was completely in his hands, and he could not let it down. Taking out his phone, he took a deep breath in and dialed the number. If he remembered correctly... this person would know what to do. 

“Hello? Walsh-san? It’s Seigo. Shirakawa. I have a situation. Could you meet me at PetLand?” he struggled to keep his irritation from creeping into his voice, after all he harbored no anger or resentment toward Sullivan, though his overall patience had begun to wear thin. “If needed I can come pick you up but I don’t have your address.”
