He looks younger than Aang does at the start of the series. You're telling me this is a 17 year old? No. Just no.

(He's adorable and if this was pre-series Zuko, I would love it to pieces. But it's not. And I don't.)

(Also, like. Is that a mullet? How tf is his hair shaggy like book 3, but also long enough to be put up in a top knot? And still look shaggy? I just... the physics involved here [don't exist].)

Okay ik everyone is excited for ashes of academy because it will be written by Hicks and not Yang but ya'll really need to keep in mind that both Hicks AND Wartman are not the... biggest enjoyers of Zuko and this is the first time he'll be getting a major role in one of their comics.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to see the comic address issues which many of us have (had) with Iroh. It does so in an entertaining and appropriate way for a general audience.

Great back stories, illustrations, colors, and lettering. I definitely recommend this comic and have accepted it as canon.

Dark Horse has announced a new Avatar: The Last Airbender one-shot comic focusing on Uncle Iroh and June the bounty hunter. Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Bounty Hunter and the Tea Brewer hails from Faith Erin Hicks, Peter Wartman, and Adele Matera. The graphic novel was written in consultation with Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko of Avatar Studios.

"Deliveries to Uncle Iroh's tea house, the Jasmine Dragon, have dried up! Further complicating Iroh’s life, a familiar face – the bounty hunter June – has captured him in hopes of a payday large enough to set her and Nyla up for life. Who hired June, and what do they want with the former Dragon of the West? In an epic trek across the Earth Kingdom, Iroh must confront a part of his past while June considers her future, but however things go…someone’s got to free the tea!" (Dark Horse)

Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Bounty Hunter and the Tea Brewer trade paperback goes on sale in bookstores on May 14, 2024, and in comic shops on May 15, 2024.

I really do like peter wartman art but can he pls start giving zuko his book 3 hair. He's suppose to be around 20 here, if anything he should have longer hair than shorter.

He had his hair in the finale panel in suki alone and then we just never seen it again

I like the outfit they give him in ashes of the academy but his hair is making me mad

A:tLA Olympics AU – Katara

Winter and ice. Katara always gave me figure skating vibes; she is graceful and very strong. She also likes to dress up, so I guess all these pretty costumes she can wear for competitions make her happy.

Other ideas were surfing and swimming - sort of a cliché, but of course I wanted to keep Katara in touch with her element.

I'm so obsessed with the current ATLA comics artsyle. Everyone looks SO GOOD. I love how handsome and perfect Aang, esp that he's 16 in the comics. I love how cute and badass Toph is. I love the rigid shapes on Sokka that show his masculine personality, but still combined with his smug expressions. I love the texture of Katara's hair. I LOVE how BEAUTIFUL Azula, Zuko, and Ursa are and how they all kind of have the same face. I love how Azula looks in her comic so much, I can't describe why, but she just looks so good. Iroh looks the same tbh, he's just chilling. AND SUKI LOOKS SO MASC HERE!!
