Pete finding the most broken and most hurt people and offering them himself as a safe space but never pressuring them, only being clear that he is there and he cares and then trying to give them reasons to make good choices even if that reason is him... he will wear their walls down with his mere presence, just by being there. Or so he hopes. He wants so badly for everyone he cares about to make the right choice but he knows he can't force them to change.

Pete looks at Way and Kenta and he sees hurting people, struggling people, people making bad choices out of a desperate need to be loved and a desperate need to matter in a life where they've been told that nothing they do is ever right or ever enough. He sees their struggles and their pain and he wants, so badly, to help them and to heal them but he also wants them to choose.

Pete believes that they must choose this. He might love them, he might care about them so deeply that it tears his heart to shreds to leave them in these places and in these moments, but he can't force them. He can't make the choice for them. Just like he had to make the choice now they have to make the choice as well.

Pete waits and he hopes and he loves and he tries so, so hard to do the right thing every time in the hopes that the people he's watching are watching him back and see that it is possible to find a way out, a new life, freedom and happiness.

And, maybe someday, he hopes and he wishes, to find love.

Daddy Tony is back along with the shitty translation choices, and I frankly don't care. Let him be back because we do need plot (not really but I suppose they need something to fill up the episodes). What I am here for (and will riot if denied) are the romantic pairings.

NorthSonic FINALLY realizing each other's feelings and going on a date only to spend the whole time discussing Kim. Obviously these two are not going to confess so I will need Kim Minsu to step up at some point, maybe ask them both out on a date and act like this was a foregone conclusion, and he was just giving them time on their previous dates to get their shit together.

Way and Kenta being angsty messes whom Pete wrangles, and they all try to be self-sacrificing and leave the other two to a happily ever after but then see NorthSonicKim and be like, "that's an option??"

Or alternatively, have Kenta and Way be at each other's throats for Pete's affection, but then have the passion misdirect and end up with them kissing - a proper enemies to lovers, not rivals to lovers, because we all know neither of them is above committing crimes to get what they want. Maybe Pete still tries his self-sacrificing nonsense, but is pulled into the bed by the other two because "What did we even do all that for if you're just gonna leave us be?"

I need Dean and Winner to step up as Kenta's wingmen, and help him realize he has not one but two gorgeous men in his sights.

My point is I want a proper, wish fulfillment fanfiction level of relationship development. As I said in season one, the human-trafficking, mpreg-teasing adoptive brothers romance omegaverse show cannot possibly draw the line at throuples and polycules, SO GIVE ME EVERYTHING!!

Predictions I make for the next ep because I am delulu and want everyone to have a happy ending:

Winner is a double agent.

Winner ends up with Kim

PeteKentaWay – surely the omegaverse BL won't consider it over the top to have a throuple

Kenta's loyalty is due to his and Pete's son, who everyone on ao3 refers to as Martin so I assume he's Pete's canonical son from the book

Way helped parent Martin

Expanding on the above prediction, Martin is the reason Way and Kenta cannot just leave Tony, who has recently decided to sell Martin as well, since Kenta and Way have failed in their 'mission'.

The above can also be the reason why Kenta is suddenly so active in searching for Jeff and the kids, as he believes his good performance will convince Tony not to sell Martin.

Way tried to actually focus on his mission that he has been ignoring for 10 years straight for the exact same reason. Failing that, he has decided to give up on convincing Tony and plans to save Martin by putting an end to Tony's business.

Memory manupulation? (Errant thought that came to mind due to Kenta never mentioning Martin in his begging.... which makes me think his desperation to please him stems from a suppressed need to keep Martin safe. I will admit I am reaching)

New edit to expand on the above point, because I am above all a fic writer: What if Kenta was supposed to have his memory wiped, but Way hynotized the wiper(?) at the last minute to not do that and now they both are pretending to be clueless. Would also rxplain why even Tony is perplexed by Kenta's attachment – he just wants to be close to his son, but cannot outright say it out loud.

Admittedly this would be too well plotted after thr series of failures by the X-hunters group. But that's why ao3 exists.

Waiting for the final ep. Fingers crossed that I won't be disappointed. Also hopefully Pete, Kenta, Way, North and Sonic and Winner (unless he's a villain after all 😒) will survive (the ones not shown in the preview).

Hoping this come true. STILL EXPECTING MPREG THAILAND! I don't think we're gonna get it but it's nice to hope. Hope way dies protecting Charlie and just for the heck of it, Pete dies protecting Kenta. Do I want the throuple? Yes of course, but I also want tragedy and Way's death isn't gonna cut it for me.

I want Babe to slap Charlie when he finds him alive.

Like first thing, *slap*. Then it's a hug. Charlie doesn't even have time to process. So he's all, "ok, sure, if this is what--"YOU IDIOT! YOU COULDNT TELL ME?!" Babe shakes him violently with tears in his eyes. But then, "I LOVE YOU! IDIOT! I LOVE YOU! YOU HEAR ME? I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOU!" *goes back to crying into Charlie's shoulder all the while Charlie is just confused as to why he can hear so many heartbeats*

Im expecting mpreg, but I completely understand if this doesn't happen. Imagine the outcry if it did though. Pft. I'd make sure to put the kettle on for my tea.
