What do you think the most cursed color for a dragon is. Like one color that will ruin any dragon it touches. Mine is Spring.

spring is a very good answer, i was going to say crocodile and they're right next to each other LOL

beige is not Great but i've seen good gene pairs with it, maize is....... questionable, megenta can be a bit Much and so is orchid. but im not sure if any of them outright ruin a dragon so i think our sickly greens are the winners

my flight rising hot take for the day is that i prefer when gene pairs are visually different.. cherub/seraph & wasp/bee are So so so SO good & a lot of the matching sets are too samey for me to like using them together (but i do like them separately!)

its a similar problem i have with xxx & sometimes xxy/xyx dragons. i like color diversity in my dragons while still being matchy & some colors just Dont have enough variety in their accent colors for my liking. sometimes a gene will also have a completely different accent color?? which is useful for scrying difficult color combos but Not when it misleads you into thinking royals main accent was blue tones only for it to actually be yellow

Geneuary Day Four: Sunshine/Rainbow

Oh my goshhh, when did we get to Day Four of Geneuary already?? I don’t think I’ll be able to recover once it’s over, I’ll be so sad 😭 But at least I’ve still got my birthday in February to look forward to, and then See More Seymour’s Bay week in early March.

Anyway, have Gene in a super huge, complicated, and colorful dress that I like to think Alexis designed for him. I really wanted to go for an almost abstract, painterly style for this piece.

For your struggle beast I scried them as petals sarcophagus porcupine to see if I could make the colors work <3

yknow this isn't too bad actually. i never scry ancients but i like how the gloom porcupine works with the rest of it
