i think the main thing is getting everything 1080p and higher. but honestly when i can't find links i just...download scenepacks from insta/twitter/mega/yt and hope for the best. also, here are my sharpening settings:

and then after sharpening, i add a layer of noise bc it looks less wonky (to me) idk. the noise usually goes anywhere from 1-5%.

Ten leaves roses and chocolates on the bed for her to wake up to.

hand initially reaches out seeking another body. any of them, really. and confusion brings to creep into sleep filled thoughts of why there isn’t anyone left in her bed with her. desdemona moves to sit up, a hand throwing her braid back over her shoulder and sitting up in mild defeat. the afternoon light shines through the window – she’s slept in much too late. usually she’s up before the sun even thinks about shining. it’s only after she gives it a few moments does she notice that while there is no other person still in her bed, she hasn’t been completely forgotten about. roses lay next to a likely expensive looking box of chocolates. desdemona brings flowers up to her nose to smell before holding them close to her chest. further exploration of the empty rooms leaves her finding a note scribbled of elliot’s cursive of an “i’ll be back soon” and a heart signed off on the bottom. holding flowers with her, she’s grabbing silk robe from the bedroom floor and holding it closed as she begins to peek out the door. ‘ ten ? ’ the fact that she hasn’t spent her usual two to three hours in the bathroom doing her hair and make up before she sees the world doesn’t matter to her at the moment. to be fair with how sick she feels to her stomach it hasn't been a concern lately. she’s more concerned about where the people she cares about has escaped to before she’s woken up. ‘ where is everyone ? ’

Ase leaves a multipack of black and gray turtleneck shirts on Tobias's side of the bed with a note:

it’s a stack of neatly folded shirts, it almost looks like they’ve done it. but the note gently stuck on top of it in ase’s handwriting tells another story. it is intimidate in the way a smile is easily pulling onto her face, and hands are slowly folding up the piece of paper and tucking it into the nightstand drawer. the other folded up pieces of paper in there are an indicator that this is not the first time ase has done this, and tobias has kept every single one of her little notes. fingers lightly feel the fabric of one of the shirts before moving to scoop up the pile and set it neatly on the dresser. it seems that no matter how many of klaus’s shirts tobias steals, henrik is now prone to taking theirs. but if it provides him comfort during everything he's going through, tobias will happily pretend they don't notice.

               forces  a  grin ,  shining  white  teeth  without  fang ,  hoping  to  banish  all  trace  of  that  moment  of  anger  /  hostility .  " why  would  i  ever  do  that ,  sister  dearest ? he is nothing if not observational. it only takes elijah a mere moment to realize that whatever the purpose of elena’s visit, she doesn’t wish for it to the knowledge of every mikaelson that may be currently under the roof. heart still manages to jump in his chest at her hand taking his. door to his room is eventually shut behind them and elena holds his entire attention. his fingers are in the process of completing the compulsion of adjusting the little metal cuff links when elena is taking his hands in hers again. it’s a soft, sweet touch, and for once elijah isn’t worried about what type of shoe is going to drop – what type of terrible thing is lurking around the corner for his family.

he’s able to just focus on her. and then those words come from her lips. the words that every time another person says them to him, they meet their death not too much longer. either at his family’s hands, or his own. he doesn’t want to add elena’s name to that ledger. despite how much his heart yearns to have someone the way every one of his siblings does. to have love outside of that of familial. on the other hand – he can’t continue to be afraid of the same thing happening all over again. things are different than how they used to be. klaus has someone who completes him. and for better or for worse - is exactly what he needs. it doesn’t erase how scarred and guarded his heart is. and yet he finds himself wanting nothing more than to see the sun rise and fall on elena’s smile. elena sees the best in him. and she is also aware of the darkness that lurks in him and the things that he is still capable of, just like all of his siblings. sometimes his actions with good intentions have resulted in several tragedies. and yet she is still here. elijah realizes he’s been staring at her in silence and it sinks that he should probably say something. anything.

he knows he should say those words back to her. he feels them for her. the fit exactly how they feel for her. and yet he cannot get them out. fingers move to slowly run over the back of her hands. this is elena laying her cards on the table. if he doesn't act, he could loose her all together. he does not want to be afraid to have something of his own. all of his siblings have obtained love – why can’t he ? expressing his emotions has always been difficult for him. ‘ i enjoy your presence in my life immensely. despite how much shadows lurk over my family, you are perhaps the brightest light of sunshine in spite of everything that has happened to you. including the actions of myself and my siblings. i want nothing more than to make you happy every single day and second you have on this earth, elena. ’

                 Elena steps past him, hand coming up to tuck some of her hair behind her ear in the process. She doesn't exactly want to wait to talk about this, but she knows Elijah won't want to have this kind of discussion in the foyer of his family home. If he knew what it was about, that is. Still, Elena wants to be considerate, so she takes Elijah's hand and brings him up to his own room. She's still incredibly nervous even though she knows she has no reason to be. Elijah has never shown her any kind of resentment or contempt; in fact, the reason she's with him now after all this time is because he's always been there for her in every way that's important to her.

                             It's exactly why she wants to tell him this.

                 "Well..." Elena begins, stepping away from Elijah even though all she wants to do is be close to him. She looks up at him though, and her heart flutters just a little bit faster, and she remembers why she's doing this. Elena smiles, and takes his hands in hers, unable to help herself. "This is gonna sound really stupid to come all this way for, but...I just wanted to tell you I love you." She gets lost in his eyes for a few moments before snapping herself out of it again, hands squeezing his a little tighter. "We haven't exactly said it yet. Or really established what this is, but I just needed to let you know that I want it to be something. I never wanted to be a vampire, and that choice was taken from me, but you've shown me that it isn't all misery. At least, it doesn't have to be. And I just...I needed to tell you how much I love you, and how much I appreciate you, and how much I can't imagine my life without you anymore."

Rebekah stands, feet rooted to the ground and staring directly into the intimidating eyes of the woman she once grieved for centuries as a small shiver runs through her. She truly believed she would never see those terrifyingly deep emerald eyes again and had finally fully accepted this after years of grief. Yet here they both stand, inhumanly still, taking each other in.

Rebekah is first to speak of course, too full of emotions to hold it inside any longer. She spurts out "Cersei… I-. Well, for once I believe I'm speechless. My brother told me you were in the city but I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. I never thought I would see you again."

Rebekah can't help the way her eyes drift to take all of Cersei in. Again, this is something she never thought she would have the privilege to do again so she takes her time. “I want to say it's good to see you but… is it?”

He slowly chews on the bite of food as she speaks, unable to keep the flicker of ANGER from Sansa's response showing in his dark eyes. Quickly he looks down at his plate, turning the utensil over and over in his hand thoughtfully. During the years he spent in the company of the Lannisters, he and Sansa had RARELY spoken to one another despite their ties with Jon and both of them hailing from the North. There was little to no say he had in the matter of her staying in the Red Keep, therefore he held his tongue for the most part.

" You act as if I've offended or done some form of harm to you, Lady Stark. " Kai's gaze raises back up to look across the table at the other. A faint, polite smile graces his face and he tilts his cup back to finish of the ale within it. " If I've done so unknowingly, I apologize. But I do not believe it's appropriate to be questioning your brother's judgement into things that are your own concerns. "

he is the first one to voice words about her gaze. the rest of the accompanying parties realizing the tension, but knowing better to not speak of it. sansa does not care that jon prefers to stay in the company of men, but out of all of them possible this is the one he chooses to adore and spend his time with ? she doesn’t have to be happy about it, and she isn’t going to pretend she is. she knows the type of person kai is. all of her thoughts and observations contribute to an even longer silence between his words and her response. perhaps deliberately keeping him on the edge of his seat. ‘ just because you stay in the company of someone i trust, does not mean i trust you as a result. perhaps jon just continues to make bad choices in the company he keeps. ’

the broken lover.

you are a mess, but a beautiful one. you feel like you destroy every relationship you touch, and people hate you for it. but they don’t really, honest; i don’t know why i said that. still, no matter how hard you try, if you can’t mend the cracks in yourself there’s no way you’re able to heal someone else. there’s always a part of you that likes how broken you are when it comes to love—it feels more poetic this way. and it is, of course it is. but this isn’t a fucking poem (though perhaps one day it will be); it’s real life. so just be careful, okay?
