Kylar freezes. His hands stop tugging at the elastic of your underwear and fall flat against your stomach. Normally his fingers would stroke and caress your soft skin but they're stuck in place, holding firm even as you wiggle.

He smiles, but it's not how he usually smiles at you.

His hands travel back to your underwear, tugging them about half-way down before he leans close against your ear, panting like a dog.

I always see the posts about whether or not mu qing is a bad person has he done bad things blah blah and I somehow feel like it's the wrong lens to look through. what I like to keep in mind is that I don't think he has ever compromised on his own morals (although obviously, his morals involve a lot of making compromises for the greater good). Even when he apologises to xie lian he refuses to say that his actions in the past were wrong, only that he understands the need for an apology. I don't think he has any regrets (he needs to be spotless in that sense because it's what lets him look down on others so much lol he's so proud of his moral consistency)

The whole "Gur attacked Astarion and left him dying in the street then Cazador offered to save him/turned him from there" thing does not necessarily mean that Astarion being a corrupt magistrate who sold criminals to Cazador and got greedy (EA version) is no longer possible.

Both could be true. Cazador could have orchestrated his beating or simply took the opportunity to punish him after stumbling on him accidentally.
