I made it 6 hours and 9 minutes long to match the day Akechi and Ren meet. June 9th. 6/9.

playlist tells the story of their relationship from the moment they meet to the end of P5R. you’ll want to listen to it with shuffle off. it is also meant to loop back to the start after you reach the last song “The Night We Met.”

was thinking real hard about how akechi could have possibly managed school, an extremely demanding detective job, being an actual celebrity?? and a hitman?? while also finding time to brood, explore the metaverse, fuel his desire for vengeance against his father, stalk the phantom thieves, AND juggle the debilitating emotional effects of knowing he needs to kill the guy he’s become unhealthily obsessed with (who, coincidentally, he also somehow finds time to hang out with frequently. totally for reconnaissance, of course! it’s, uh, just a work thing. he HATES him.)

then I remembered high schoolers are just like that. oh akechi, you would’ve burnt out in one more year tops.
