Just started watching Perry Mason and it's insane how Gayle's character (Emily Dodson) is a mother whose baby son was killed in a kidnapping gone wrong and now the local minister wants to turn Emily's son's funeral into political theater!!!

It's giving Blood and Cheese/Otto's funeral theater agenda. The dragon show has rotted my brain.

Also, show's really good. I enjoy watching Gayle move.

The Owl House Family Tree

Behold, the family of the Owl House mixed with my headcanons that I made because I felt like it, and gosh is it crazy. Explanation under the cut lol

The Grimwalkers (and Hunter who's a grimwalker) were created by Philip, essentially being his children, but Philip created them using Caleb's DNA and modeled them in his image. So yeah, they pretty much are both parents of Grimwalkers as they're not perfect clones of Caleb and it's fucked up in plenty of ways

Since both Gwen and Dell are theorized to be descendants of Clawthorne with how Gwendolyn follows the mold of Clawthorne women with her looks, power, and name. Still, then there's Dell who has an uncanny resemblance to Philip and Caleb, along with being the best wood-carver in the wood-carving family, so it's not clear who's the Clawthorne and who was married to Clawthornes, I went a different route. I made Gwendolyn a very very distant descendant of Clawthorne's ancestor (16 generations and possibly even more), whereas Dell is the descendant of Caleb as a compromise.

Lilith and Hooty are in QPR.

I included Hooty's mom along with possible ancestors and used the tapeworm in Titan's eye as a point of reference.

The BATTs are adopted children of Raine and Eda's co-parent to them. She however adopted the Collector, King, and Luz individually, even though Raine also would co-parent them to an extent. Granted Eda was called "mama Eda" by Amber, whereas Luz, King, and the Collector never referred to Raine as their parent.

Raine and Eda are neither dating nor married, but a secret third thing. And the same applies to Darius and Alador

Camila and Perry Porter (Gus's dad) are in QPR as well.

Professor Hermonculus is Amity's grandparent because yes xD

Eberwolf and Darius are "like brothers" but they aren't officially brothers by either blood or adoption, or they're necessarily in QPR. They're just bros.

Darius had a failed relationship that resulted in Gavin (that abomination Glandus kid). That's rather a leftover theory with plenty of story-telling potential that came back from season 2A days when we knew nothing about Darius and were looking for some connections. The picture of the mom came from the old photo from Reaching Out.

Gavin is dating Cat (Amity's former friend, she set them up).

There was a funny theory that once I heard about Mason being dad of Willow's dad and I decided to go along with it because A) I find it funny, especially since the point of connection is how alike they look, and B) explains where Willow got her green eyes from.

Mason is a grandparent of Matt and Steve, as I figured he's too old to maybe be just their dad IMO, but he could still be. It's also an old and forgotten theory from times of TOH S2B when Steve got revealed to be Matt's step-brother (meaning they share one parent and have 2 different parents of their own) and there were storyboards of ASIAS that revealed there was a storyline with Mason and Tholomules, granted as I said, it was forgotten so I can't say it's really valid.

Steve and Katya are dating. @secretly-of-course here is your Stevatya mention.

E11 Crooked Candle. Perry and Della spend the night aboard a sailboat. Della wears her Barbie catch me fuck shoes at the dock, climbing into a dinghy, and getting - so very elegantly - into a sailboat moored in the basin.

E12 Negligent Nymph. The happy threesome go out for Mexican food. No one told Paul that milk is better at quelling the fire in his mouth.

E13 Moth-Eaten Mink. Even tho it's a bit raggedy Della loves a mink. (In season 9 she owns a much nicer mink in Sausalito Sunrise)

E14 Baited Hook. Gertie wears plaid. Tragg escorts murderer to jail as of he were taking her to the Ritz for dinner. Perry and Della play house.

E15 Fan Dancer's Horse. It all starts when Perry and Della are coming back from a dirty weekend in Mexico. There's some horsing around then they go on a date with Paul.

E16 Demure Defendant. Della tries to hide evidence from Tragg but he's not having it. Perry confuses things by throwing a pill bottle in the lake and pays 2 little kids to find evidence.

E17 Sun Bather's Diary. Naked woman has house trailer stolen while she sun bathes. Perry is intrigued. Della is skeptical. Paul drools. Donna Reed's husband is a suspect. Della kisses Perry, but only on the cheek. Perry is disappointed ☹️.

E18 Cautious Coquette. Murder, mayhem, slimy soon to be ex-husband who gets whacked, idiot but good looking insurance investigator makes mistake. Very tall Paul drives tiny car. A champagne toast!

E19 Haunted Husband. Hitchhiker + Slimeball driver = Car accident. Movie executives. Rainy weather and feathers crack the case. Della misses Perry so much when he's out chasing clues that she uses his desk. Della and Perry work late.

E20 Lonely Heiress. Wealthy woman. Overprotective half brother. Con man with diabetic girlfriend. Perry and Della go to the motel to "reenact the crime". Della's hungry so Paul and Perry toss a coin to see who takes her to dinner. Spoiler alert: they both win!

Perry Mason (1957) Headcanon

It is an open secret among lawyers and judges that District Attorney Hamilton Burger is Obsessed with Perry Mason.

At the end of Season 3, Episode 4, "The Case of the Blushing Pearls", Hamilton sends Perry a citation for burning garbage without a permit, and in Season 7, Episode 6, "The Case of the Reluctant Model", he sends him a bill for 20 cents. Since Perry is always so careful not to do anything that could actually get himself in trouble, anytime Hamilton gets an opportunity like that, it makes his whole year. He was blushing, giggling, kicking his feet while writing those and you cannot change my mind. His secretary/assistant/whoever saw the look of manic glee in his eyes as he handed them an envelope to mail, and they just knew who it was addressed to without having to check.

In Season 8, Episode 12, "The Case of the Wooden Nickels", Perry tells the judge that Hamilton was "making a gratuitous aside". A little later, when a witness stated he offered $60,000 to the defendant's family for the titular coin, Hamilton turns to Perry and says "That's well worth committing murder for, isn't it, Mr. Mason? Oh, excuse me, I withdraw the gratuitous aside"

I don't remember what episodes, I think they were season 1 or 2, but there was one in which Perry made several objections based on technicalities. I think it was a time when Della was on the stand? And in a subsequent episode, Hamilton made a comment about how he wouldn't stoop to petty technicalities or something.

If it were a video game, every time Perry Mason made an objection (or did anything really) he would get a pop-up that says "Hamilton Burger will remember this".

In Season 6, Episode 20, "The Case of the Golden Oranges", Hamilton is in his office when he receives a phone call from the City Attorney, "Tom". Part of the conversation (the side we can hear, anyway) is as follows:

"Dog bite case? Why would I be interested in that? … Who - Who is defending the dog?"

This shows that Tom thought this information was important enough (to Hamilton) to warrant calling the District Attorney and telling him. It also shows that dog bite cases are not something Hamilton would ordinarily concern himself with; he is only interested in it when he's told that Perry is involved.

Hamilton then seemingly drops everything to go and see this for himself. Then, in court, the judge addresses Hamilton and asks if he's there on business, and Hamilton says he "heard a familiar voice and thought I'd drop in", thus admitting that he has no reason to be there except that Perry is there. No one acknowledges this though. (I will say, Perry turned around awfully quickly when the judge said the DA was there.)

This man is the District Attorney of Los Angeles. Did he not have anything else to do? No appointments? No cases of his own? Did he just take the rest of the day off so he could go ogle Perry Mason?

Imagine being the prosecutor in this case, Assistant District Attorney Rice. He's just doing his job, minding his business, when his boss shows up to watch because the guy he has a homoerotic psychosexual rivalry with is also working the case.

In Season 4, Episode 27, "The Case of the Grumbling Grandfather", a guy calls Perry from the courthouse during a hearing to hire him to defend his grandson at trial, and as Perry leaves his office, he tells Della "Apparently Hamilton Burger's winning a case". Perry, gentleman that he is, at least waits until he has plausible deniability before going to ogle Hamilton in court.

And, of course, Hamilton has something to say about it. "The marines are landing a little late, aren't they, Perry? … Or did you just drop by to watch me deliver my windup?" He wishes Perry were there to see him.

All this to say, Hamilton Burger is obsessed with Perry Mason and is not subtle about it.

The Case of the Lame Canary, season 2 episode 30, last scene....

Hamilton Burger and Lt Tragg join everyone in Perry's office after the trial..

They ask Perry how he knew what he knew, and he says that a little bird told him...

As they all look down at the beautiful canary in the cage, Hamilton says, " A little bird, huh? That's the first time I've heard of a lame canary being a stool pigeon". They all find that very amusing, and so did I!!
