#FaithTheDachshund has been on a reduced diet plan since June. She has lost an average of 0.2 lb weekly eating only 1/2 cup a day TOTAL of @hillssciencediet #PerfectWeight. She was getting 1 cup & 1/2 or more of adult #ScienceDietlight, but with minimal exercise. I didn't realize she was packing on the pounds. Thankfully she went from about 18.1lbs down to 16.2lbs on our last weigh in Wednesday. I'm very proud of myself for not giving in to those big sad 🐕 👀 and whining for more to eat. I'm super proud of my 8 yr old baby for dropping the pounds! Check out my story by clicking my profile pic. •~☆~•☆~•☆•~☆ If you have ever been dieting before, you’ll know how difficult is to lose those last few pounds. Am I right? Well, I consider myself lucky because I never had to really go on a serious diet but I do want to lose those few extras and I can’t. Few weeks ago, I was telling you about my problems with losing weight and my fat belly. Lol. Why am I laughing? Because it is way easier to talk about my issues if I’m pretending I’m making fun of myself. Anyhow, when I was younger, I never had this type of problem. If I wanted to lose few pounds, I just reviewed my current diet habits, tried to find where the issue was, adjusted the diet or eliminated the “bad seed” entirely and looked for the results in a few weeks if not days. That was then but this year I turned 50 and, believe it or not, EVERYTHING is different, or that’s what I am convinced of. Trying to lose freaking 5 lbs is a big deal! I already adjusted the diet, I think I’m in control of the portions and I don’t see the results I’m looking for. Or maybe I want them too fast? Maybe I should be more patient with my body? Maybe… I am looking forward to the days when I will have time off of work to be able to go hiking with my “preferred people”- you know who you are, and take my mind off of this whole weight, diet, age thing. You know what fuck it! I am beautiful. I really truly am, all 220 pounds of me. All of my scars all of my stretch marks and all of the weird lumpy bits. I am me and that’s way more than good enough that is perfect. I am tired of thinking that I’m never enough and that I’m ‘too big’ or ‘too short’. I am just what I need to be at this point in my life. If I lose weight then I do if I don’t then I don’t, and although I will have to work a little bit more to be more healthy, this does not mean I am too big I am just big enough!
