I really enjoy how like 80% of dutch winter treats are made with pretty much the exact same ingredients in slightly different configurations. the people in this country found one combination that worked and never looked back

Argh I’m a little late to this but happy Saint Nicholas day to my followers who celebrate it! Had a little hiccup with the package my family was supposed to get for Sinterklaas because of the Canada post strike going on so I don’t get my yearly shipment of pepernoten this year lol
