netflix one piece live action feels a little like fanfic in that it makes sure it hits all the important notes but doesnt do all the work to make them hit which works in fic where the reader is supposed to bring all the emotional story investment from the original but doesnt work in a multi million adaptation that is supposed to be able to stand on its own or even serve as an intro to the series. it even does this in service to have more koby and helmeppo gay moments in this essay i w

i have so many ocs in my brain with their own stories but I have nothing to do with them

#i speak #i need to make an rp server or something....... or join one....... i just wanna do something with them.......#valentine and co have the most worldbuilding and lore and stuff like i know exactly what i want to do with them i just dont have the #surrounding world built out enough where i feel confident making a server for the world where other people can make characters in it i need #to workshop it or something.............#then theres cassandra where i have 3 characters and general backstory and a little bit of world but that stories more apocalyptic and i don #see that setting working for a server with a bunch of people cause im mostly interested in the dynamic between the 3 characters #ive made for it #abigail and eve could fit in a lot of different worlds but thats moreso a contained story with just the two (subtle 3) of them #i also reeeeeeeeaaaaaaallly dont want to run a server on my own i would have to do so much work

Why is the Don Bluth art style so hard to mimic lmao, I've been practicing for what feels like ages and I've only made one sketch I think actually looks good lol

#not a vent post! I'm not like frustrated it's just a lot harder than i hoped it'd be lol #I'm trying to practice that style because i think the way they do expressions and body language is really compelling #and i especially need more practice drawing anthro animals #besides. if i ever get good at it i can draw my favorite characters in that style. like the guy who does Don Bluth Seinfeld videos #unironically an inspiration to me i think that it's so fun to take silly guys and draw them in a style you love #i have done one (1) drawing of Vicoros in the Don Bluth style that i think turned out good but I'll probably wait until morning to post it #so that more people see it lol #I'm actually kinda proud of how it came out for a practice run #but y'know! i can always improve and I'm sure I'll get better at it with time lol

i'm...probably gonna get some unfollows for this but i'm not personally a fan. i used to be more chill with it, but i see it so much it's started to annoy me (except for a select few artists). it's not....bad it's just. bland to me? and i find people forget fearne and her important relationship to both dorian and orym. a lot of exu trio art ends up feeling like dor/ym art that she was put in as an after-thought.

i have more thoughts that my poor brother (who barely watches cr) gets to hear but uh...idk i'll stop talking since i don't want to hurt feelings or get killed for not liking it. but yeah ... not the biggest fan of it :']
