are there really chiropractors out there right now who are claiming they can treat all that stuff?? im really actually asking because ive never seen anything like that at all, but obviously i might just be really lucky. i constantly see people saying chiropractors claim they can treat everything, and its just baffling to me. my chiropractor is pretty young (so maybe she just doesnt have the same attitude as older ones?) and went to med school for physical therapy before becoming a chiropractor, and shes the only doctor out of the dozens ive seen who already knew what hyper-mobile ehlers-danlos syndrome is before meeting me. shes never once said anything about treating anything at all beyond the issues in my back from my muscles going whack, and has actually suggested i see a physical therapist (and referred me to one) to strengthen my back so i dont have to see her very often. i assumed that was the normal experience with chiropractors, but did i just luck out? are the majority of chiropractors really insane and claiming they can cure diabetes and stuff?? thats so crazy to think about...

Just to clarify: your chiropractor is not a doctor. Having a doctorate in physical therapy does not make one an MD, having a DC degree does not make one an MD. People who become physical therapists go to school for physical therapy, but that wouldn't really be called medical school any more than getting a degree in nutrition would be called medical school.

I want to be very firm here because you're using the words "medical school" and "doctor" and that indicates to me that she IS claiming to be more than what she actually is, which is a chiropractor and possibly a physical therapist, both of which have requirements that pale in comparison to the training that MDs (or even nurse practitioners or physician's assistants) go through. But chiropractors really like to let people believe that they're doctors. They're not. They're chiropractors.

It's a very good thing that your chiropractor has told you to seek other care for your back pain; neck and spinal adjustments are potentially life threatening to people who don't have connective tissue disorders and are *extremely* dangerous and an even greater risk for people who DO have hypermobility issues (check out what @thebibliosphere has to say about chiropractic and EDS). A licensed physical therapist will be able to do much, much more for you than a chiropractor, and is a MUCH safer choice.

Now, all of that being said:

Yeah it's super common for chiropractors to claim they can treat all kinds of nonsense and when they're doing so it is probably technically illegal and if they actually treat stuff it's probably technically practicing medicine without a license and can be really fucking dangerous if it convinces people to forgo evidence-based treatment.

thats right baby we're returning to the 2010s creepypasta fandom for this one, where everyone lived in the slender mansion and shit obvious hc derailment from my normal posting but im feeling a little nostalgic </3 the way i portray characters is the same as i usually do it, theyre all just roommates now notes: reader is gn, platonic post really since its just talking about what everyone is doing in the mansion, admin is attempting to catch the energy of 2010s quotev/wattpad creepypasta x reader fics/quizzes... including only characters that were a "standard" for the mansion stuff, at least with the stuff i looked at! splendorman and nina are here though even though they dont fall under that, a LOT of parts are connected with each other and reference one another cws: none

SLENDERMAN

he usually doesnt like getting wrapped into the chaos that happens when everyone decides to spend the night in the common area of the mansion- and he never quite saw the appeal in sleepovers

if you need a break from the chaos inside, you can find him holed up in his office or out in the woods

if hes out in the woods and you go searching, it doesnt take you long to find him

or rather, it doesnt take him long to find you- he knew you stepped out the second your feet touched the grass

doing her best to ignore the chaos around her as she sits with sally and plays with her... there arent many other creepypastas around that are in her age group, and jane doesnt want to make her feel left out

she does end up spending most of the night downstairs with everyone else but she does take breaks to step outside to clear her head, its way too loud and theres way too much going on

you guys probably start a small fire while trying to make popcorn, absolute chaos breaks out- jack is eating burnt kennels, you're trying to whack the flame out, jeff is cackling, and splendorman is rushing in to see whats going on and he nearly has a heart attack

prior to that jack is passing out candy and doing his own thing, you might be able to convince him to wind down and watch a movie with you and some of the others!

last one to fall asleep, if you can call what he does sleep... he... doesnt need to sleep, he just pretend sleeps

will instantly rush over if you offer him to join in on an activity youre doing, whether youre by yourself or with someone else

EYELESS JACK

pretty tame, all he's doing is streaming movies in the living room so theres something to watch- or more sound to add to the background

has enough sense to turn on subtitles so you know whats actually being said against whats going on around you

he would sneak you snacks if he had them, but he didnt think to grab anything thats friendly for you- that sort of thing doesnt cross his mind that often since he doesnt... eat normal people food

pro at tuning everyone else out, he might just end up tuning you out because hes so used to things descending into chaos

you both might end up having a conversation about anything at some point, really any topic is on the table

BEN DROWNED

one of the rare occasions where hes out and about rather than being confined to his devices- surely he will use his limited time to hang out with everyone in bulk!

you thought! sure he might come down every now and then to hang out- namely hang out with jeff or sally for a few minutes, but hes going to be spending a lot of his time in his room upstairs playing video games

wants to hang out with everyone and while shes not totally dismissed, she ends up spending her night on the floor drawing- but jane and nina do join her at some point to keep her company

do ghosts sleep...? if so youre probably going to have to take her to bed at some point, whether it be at her bedtime or if she simply falls asleep while you hang out

as soon as nina offers to do your hair or makeup, sally is immediately jumping up and offering to help

its either him or hoodie, but one of them is going to end up being the one to put out that fire laughing jack starts in the kitchen

cannot stand the excess noise so hes probably going to step outside to clear his head or go upstairs

its best to give him a few minutes before offering to join him, he needs that window of alone time to depressurized

basically plays babysitter next to splendorman, basically making sure nothing gets wrecked inside or outside

Its like toritsuka (from saiki k!) but the reader is less pervy.. and if its okay; can the reader be female? Its okay if its not!! I dont mind!!

So the reader has this ghost ability thing and they used to get bullied and shamed for it because people caught her talking to nothing but she was talking to ghosts, so she became insecure of their ability and sees it more like a curse. So technically a socially akward reader?

ཐིཋྀ Sometimes he hears you talk without looking over and assumes you’re talking to him before realizing that no, it’s actually to a ghost that’s in the room

ཐིཋྀ Once Kunikida and he had a mission but the brunet was not getting up from the couch, so you walked up and after a few seconds you told him that there was a ghost, butt naked, right by his face

ཐིཋྀ He did not look up to see if you were lying or telling the truth, he just jumped up from that couch without a second thought before he was gone out the door. He only realized that you lied once they were back and you were laughing at him with Ranpo

Seiji thought he had everything planned out. He really was sure that there was no way to find him after he ran away from the two detectives. After all, who would search for a running thief in the damn sewers when there were so many better places that could’ve been used to hide in the area?

The plan was in fact a good one, in fact. Kuwahara made it look like he was going towards the warehouses nearby to camp out, while in reality, he came down to the sewers using the ladders, as there was one of the many entrances underground right behind a warehouse.

He was so sure that he wouldn’t be found, that he wasn’t seen, so pray tell, why was he standing face to face with the exact two people he was meant to avoid. The atmosphere wasn’t nice, it was cold, and the smell was even worse, Seiji was trying heavily not to let it show on his face since the two people that were after him seemed to be completely unaffected by the environment they were in. What he couldn’t hide instead, was distress. He did not plan on getting caught any time soon, and yet it looks like he’s 8 seconds away from being behind bars.

“How- How did you guys find me?!”

This was not what Dazai meant when he said that he would show you how useful your ability can be (you refused more against it being useful than anything else he said about it, so that’s what he settled for), but it kind of worked so he wasn’t complaining.

“How- How did you guys find me?!”

Kuwahara Seiji, a 25-year-old thief that uses his ability to make himself invisible for all of his plans, making it hard for the police to identify him.

“It was kind of easy, actually!~”

“You’re talking as if you had any part in finding him.”

Dazai really didn’t. Once the criminal ran away after throwing a smoke bomb on the ground, (The brunet has to give it to him, It was annoying as hell and many people would give up on going after him once the smoke settled down) the two of you had no idea which direction he went off to, as there was a few possible exits from the warehouse you first caught him in.

His solution? Asking you to question a ghost nearby if they saw the man. You were really skeptical about that, he could tell.  What he also noticed was how confused you were about his question. You didn’t understand why he would want that, at least at first. It was soon after that you realized he meant.

You can see invisible things, ghosts can see other invisible individuals as well, rendering Kuwahara’s ability useless when it comes to you chasing him down.

He realized that little advantage of yours some time back while lazing around on his favorite agency couch.

Your ghost acquaintances can be quite the helpers when it comes to investigating stuff. He heard from Kenji, that not too long ago, you had solved a case that was meant to take around a week, in a day, simply because it just so happened that a ghost was on the crime scene when it happened. You had an easy time getting clues and proving the words of the ghost to the police with their help.

He knows that a few times like those won’t stop you from being so negative about your ability, he’s aware of the impact your bullies had on you mentally even if you try to not show it, but all of those instances give you a step forward to seeing what Dazai and the others do.

“Oh c’mon ‘donna! I was the one who gave you the idea of asking someone!”

“We would be able to track him down anyway. Asking someone just made it faster.”

Catching him in the end was not hard at all. Kuwahara tried to sneak away using his ability once again, but you could still see him without him realizing it. You could see where he was walking off to, making it possible for Dazai to nullify the guy's ability and catch him before leading him to the police vehicle near the warehouse you guys were under.

“See? I told you your ability is really useful and fun!”

“Where do you see the fun in my predicament?” He could tell you were just done with him for the day, besides being confused.

“I mean, you’re almost never alone, right? You always have someone to talk to!~” He knows it’s annoying to see ghosts all the time without the option to just… not be able to do that.

A sigh came from you before answering, “Exactly, complete silence for me is a rare blessing.” in an exhausted tone.

“I would love to never be in complete silence.” He wished that you could have some sort of an on-and-off switch.

“Samu… That’s because your voices would be quiet-” “I do NOT have voices, bella!”

“Sure, continue being in Egypt.”

“What-”

ཐིཋྀ Let’s say that you’re a florist and the ginger came in to buy flowers for Kouyou for example. It just so happened that one of the ghosts hanging around in your workplace was feeling silly, and had been pranking the customers the whole day, Chuuya being no exception

ཐིཋྀ When you were at the back getting the bouquet he ordered the day before, his hat was randomly taken off of his head and was floating in the air

ཐིཋྀ Bro was so confused because he knew his ability was off at the moment

ཐིཋྀ Every time he got the hat back onto his head it just floated back up😭

ཐིཋྀ The menace of a ghost stopped only once you got back out of the backroom and scolded them

ཐིཋྀ Chuuya was confused because ‘Who the fuck were you talking to???’

ཐིཋྀ He asked that exact question and even though you were visibly hesitant and nervous, you still explained your ability since he already saw it anyway

ཐིཋྀ You did not get the reaction you expected, which was being made fun of as that was what you were used to, but he instead complimented it <3

ཐིཋྀ Make sure you don’t let a name slip when it comes to your past bullies because you will see them on the news, missing :)

ཐིཋྀ On one of your first dates/early stages of dating, he gave you Marigolds which you lightly laughed at, causing him confusion before you explained their meaning to him

ཐིཋྀ Yeah, he settled for mostly giving you Cyclamens, Blackthorns, and Bluebells alongside your favorite flowers after that, just for fun

ཐིཋྀ Going with the florist thing or just generally, he would help you around with his ability if there’s something heavier to move around 

ཐིཋྀ He would voice out how often he actually wants to see you, albeit embarrassed, but he will show it in lil gestures a lot more <3

ཐིཋྀ I can just imagine him putting his hat on your head and sliding it down over your eyes before giving you a peck on the lips as a goodbye if he was at your workplace and he had to suddenly go

ཐིཋྀ He would try to slowly get you to not be so insecure about your ability

ཐིཋྀ I feel like one of The Flags would be his guardian ghost which could actually make this man cry at the thought :(

ཐིཋྀ Alright but if you met a past bully of yours, or someone newer,  that would try to shit on you for your ability, just tell him, and he will beat them up happily <3

“Are you sure that you don’t have work right now?”

“Yes, so shut your pretty mouth up and show what else you need to be moved.”

Renovation. A simple small renovation of your small shop was all that you planned. Moving some of the furniture, and changing the place of a few products for easier finding. You had thought that it would take a few days to take care of it since you planned on doing a few things every day so as to not close up the shop for a whole day unnecessarily (and you didn’t feel like doing everything in one day).

The problem was, he was supposedly not meant to know about that. Chuuya found your graphic open on your laptop and saw the renovation plans before realizing that you didn’t speak a word about that. At first, he was confused. Why didn’t you tell him? He could certainly make it faster by helping you.

Yet soon after that, he realized why. You didn’t want him to know because you knew that he would help and, therefore not do his work, something you were always worried about when he stopped by your shop. Well, he was never one not to help you, especially when there’s such an occasion. he wants a thank you kiss besides being a gentleman, your honor

“Is it really that hard to focus on your job instead of helping me move the furniture?” You sighed, pointing to a bookcase and then pointing to a place where a table stood before. “You’re gonna get in trouble.”

“I’m not, besides- HEY!” Looking up, his hat could be seen slowly floating away. He ignored you stifling a laugh as he chased after the hat. Chuuya would ignore it and just continue on with moving your stuff around, but the last time he did that, the hat was later found in a pot, making him have to wash it as it had a lot of soil on it. (A lot of his subordinates wondered why he didn’t have his hat on the next day, he didn't explain it to anyone)

“Can you tell them to stop?!” He could only guess how funny the situation looked to you. To anyone else, it just looked like the ginger was chasing after a floating hat, but you could see the menace that was taking the object away, so it ended up being funnier to you, if you nearly laughing was anything to go by.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, dear.”

“You’re so mean!”

You hummed softly before answering, “I would prefer to be called entertained.”

“It has nothing to do with what I said, doll.” Was said by Chuuya just as he finally got hold of his hat. Even if the ghost was still holding onto it, at least the hat wasn’t continuously floating away toward the flower-bare pots with just soil in them again.

“Let them have some fun in a while, Chuu, they don’t do it too often.”

“Yeah, and it just so happens that they decide to have their little fun almost every time that I come here.”

“They love you.”

“I wish they didn’t.” 

“It’s better than if they disliked you.”

“Why?”

“There’s a customer that they don’t like for being rude to me,” The ginger frowned at that information but you continued on, “And they are rude back to him every time he comes by my shop.”

“What do they do?”

“Y’know, pull on his clothes and hair, steal his things, and make them completely dirty on purpose, make him think he heard or saw something and that kind of stuff. Pretty sure they stole some of his money from the guy’s wallet.”

Chuuya was quiet for a moment before speaking up. “I think I prefer my hat being occasionally stolen…”

“Exactly!” You shouldn’t smile like that after what you said, but he’s not gonna comment on that one.

“...So the bookcase is the next to be moved, isn't it?

so, normally, i would post way more, about specific episodes, as i tried to do, but like damn. my watch of season 2 absolutely flew by.

i have so many thoughts about everything. i think this is for me the same thing as star trek. thats the highest compliment i can give it.

i love the "crew". with every new episode, sam grows more beautiful.

"Holiday" hit me pretty hard, which i didnt expect.

apophis is dead? damn bro. like finally. but he died the most horrible death. i feel awful for his host. because, even though Daniel Jackson did the whole capture the soul in the statuette thingie, it doesn't matter, because heru-ur probably keeps torturing him eternally. not sure.

my god. "One False Step". also incredibly good. i knew, that Jack cared deeply for Daniel, but their friendship wasn't really there. something was missing for me, i guess. this episode completed it for me. that scene, when they are sitting on the hospital bed apologizing to each other? perfection. and the whole idea behind the concept, with the singing mushroom guys, i love this episode so fucking much. when daniel exploded with the whole "we are genociding a people" i was genuinely very worried that they are just gonna all die.

"Show and Tell". the Retoor. so fucking cool damn. but creepy asfuck aswell. that whole mother business creeped me the hell out. when the boy told Jack that he wanted to be called "Charlie" i was devastated, because i thought for the third time, Jack was gonna lose his son. atleast that didnt happen, ig. i do think though that the Retoor are possibly even a bigger threat then the Goa'Ulds.

"1969" was my kind of episode. absolute perfection. we got. time travel shenanigans check. we got hippies in a cool fucking bus? check. we got young lieutenant hammond? check. loved the whole road trip feel that the episode has. i think the actress for "old" Clarissa was not well chosen though. small nitpick.

and now, "Out of My Mind". now i immedietally you know that only Jack being in 2077 was impossible. the show couldnt continue if they got off-screened. but in my mind i assumed that maybe Jack is gonna time travel back to 1997 or something. but then when the Tok'ra doctor gave him the "high-tech hypnosis" device, i suspected that something shady is going on. the Teal'c insert, with the whole speech, and Bratak being beaten, was suprising to me. i genuinely thought more people would rally. but again, stargate is perfection, cuz yeah. these people completely lost their identity. like, jaffa, to me, is a title, right? Teal'c is not a jaffa, he is Tauri, i guess, be grew up on Chulak. so are they Chulakians? were there ever a time when they weren't occupied by the Goa'ulds? idk. cool to thing about. more to come i hope.

and then of course came the peak moment. now i dont really ship Jack and Carter yet. atleast i didnt use to. i thought they worked completely well as just great friends who have huge respect for each other. but when Jack killed Hathor, in that manner, and then the hug... yeah man, i knew. i knew haha. but yeah, not possible. fuck regulations. so i guess this will be another Beverly situation.

gonna start watching season 3 now. im so happy that i found this series haha. i thought it would take longer to find something on the same level as startrek. you people got it good in the 00s. haha.

why do u think people r so ashamed of loving danron??

I mean, honestly, there's a lot of reasons, which makes it kind of complicated to tackle. I can list out a few from the top of my head, based on personal experience Feeling the shame and observation of other fans

•The problematic content in the games themselves. People feel embarrassed to like the other parts of the game because of the amount of bigoted moments (and sometimes whole characters) within these games. They don't want people to think they like those parts too, so they couch their appreciation in embarrassment.

•The reputation of the fanbase. On tumblr at least, things have normalized significantly and I find this fandom a very chill place to be. But the danganronpa fandom at its peak (2012-2016ish) was RABID. Like any major tumblr fandom, there was tons of drama, discourse, and toxic fan behaviour, but DR was genuinely on another level. This is especially true because of the young average age of members of the fandom at the time. Even though thats not generally true anymore on tumblr, this fandom still has that reputation to non-fans, and so people don't want to be associated with it.

•Cringe culture. At its peak, the DR fandom on tumblr was made mostly of teens, especially younger teens. I think the earnest way young teens participate in fandom led to it being seen as cringe, just like many other fandoms. Also, even outside of its problematic content, DR's plot can be weird and, frankly, even completely ridiculous. Similar to hom/estuck, I think this esotericness adds to people's kneejerk reaction to it when hearing about it second hand.

•The tendency of tumblr to turn on popular media when the magic is gone. This is something I've noticed with a lot of tumblr's number 1 big fandoms. Once a lot of people's interest in it starts wearing off, for some reason people will pivot to hating it. It happened with T/MA a little, it happened with Und/ertale, it happened with S/U, and so many other fandoms that tumblr went crazy over initially. Maybe its because these fandoms became so vocal they started to annoy those not participating, so they started to meme and make fun of it and its fans. Then, when people start to leave as their interests change, they join in on the teasing to displace the shame they might've felt from being teased. Eventually, people usually turn around and come to appreciate the piece of media casually again. That didn't really happen with DR... probably because of the other three reasons.

DR gained this reputation of being "irredeemable, problematic, cringe media" with a toxic fanbase and never shook it off. Before I played DR, I knew nothing about it except that tumblr hated it, for some reason. I had learned literally nothing else through fandom osmosis! And I think that general feeling, that Good People who like Unproblematic Things* (*requirement of being a good person) would never touch DR with a 10 foot pole outside of to make fun of it, sticks with people.

So when people finally check it out, usually through irony-poisoned letsplays of it, and end up actually liking it, they don't know what to do with themselves. How do you balance genuinely liking this piece of media with the site-wide perception youve grown so used to? With the idea that everyone will hate you if they know you like it, that you are a bad person for even posting about it? And thats how you get everyone's first DR post having a caption essentially communicating "im so sorry for posting about dr- I know its terrible and associating myself with this game makes me look disgusting- people who've followed me up until now, please dont hate me!"

Tomorrow you were supposed to meet your possible future fiancé. This type of affair was not a first time thing for you so you already had an idea of how things would go. Which was the two of you being forced to interact for several hours.

Though you knew what was coming, was it not possible to be a little nervous considering who it was you were meeting?

Asmodeus Morningstar--one of the most influential families in Nefarelin. Their was no shortage of exceptional members in that tree. And to be crass, every other potential spouse you met before were like dried leaves in comparison.

And this didn't even factor Asmodeus's own appeal and popularity. You'd only seen him in passing a few times but you could tell he was quite beautiful even from a distance. On top of that, the general public were strangely obsessed with him. You weren't completely sure why, but he must be very likeable if that's the case.

God, how many people have probably asked for his hand in marriage by now? You could only wonder.

All around it would be pretty foolish to turn this down. And that's why you were nervous…. Your parents were giving you a choice. But it was one of those choices where the answers were 'yes' or 'hmm, okay I suppose'. You did not want to know what would happen if you dare declined.

You'd already considered the logistics of this situation, dwelled on it for days. And it would definitely be a loveless marriage from your side. And that was something normal…but you were fine with how your life was currently! You didn't want to deal with any expectations romantic or otherwise from a spouse.

And what about Asmodeus.

He was well loved by many, had a reputation for enjoying the nightlife and being the center of attention. It seemed highly unlikely that a man like him was looking to "settle down" all of a sudden!

Maybe you underestimated Asmodeus. For some reason the first time your eyes met his saccharine ones, you struggled with maintaining contact. Each time, it felt like he was staring straight into your mind.

You had a bit of an idea about him before this whole situation. But once it got out that he was "interested" in proposing, well the maids had no problem telling you everything they knew. It was definitely not all true, but it pretty much confirmed what you already felt.

"That makes sense. Isn't it great that now you get to experience me in person instead of by word-of-mouth~"

"…Uh huh. Well I feel like I should tell you now. That I plan to say yes."

"Say yes?"

"Say yes to marrying you."

You watch for any negative reactions but nothing. Though you were still sure he wasn't really interested in marriage.

Asmodeus's curious face changes to something else. Something you can't really place your finger on. You just knew he didn't look very pleased.

"Well at least I know you're not blind." His fingers play with his fringe. "And that's all fine and dandy but…"

When Asmodeus stands and looks back at you your heart skips a beat. You take a step back as he takes one forward. "I hope you're ready to handle me because I don't think you can."

Oh my god what was happening?

You were frozen in place as Asmodeus trapped you against the railing between his arms. You didn't even think to push him away and just stood there stupidly.

"I-I…"

Rustling sounds from a nearby hedge, but when you both look in the direction of the noise there's giggling and the sound of retreating people.

You sigh. At least someone was enjoying the show.

You gently push at Asmodeus's chest so you can make space.

Okay cirice is a song that was originally written to develop an inside image of abusive relationships and especially how cults lure people in and they dont realize it until the very end. This includes things like the cycle of luring someone in, becoming aggressive, and trying to undo the damage by pretending to sound remorseful. Sounds familiar??? (Port mafia)

skylia @kaiserkisser has a SHIT ton of good posts about this kind of thing especially regarding the port mafia so i highly recommend checking out some of their reblogs if youre interested in seeing more. In regards to one of their reblogs, i saw a post the other say that detailed how the port mafia “teachers” or mentors will always end up abusing their trainees the way they knew how to be trained. mori treated dazai the way he knew how to be treated, dazai treated akutagawa like less than human because thats all hes ever viewed himself as, and akutagawa gives kyouka insane amounts of praise because thats all he desired, but he doesnt know how to treat her like a normal kid because HE never got to be a normal kid.

this is where chuuya comes in. Chuuya didnt have any “mentors” besides kouyou and possibly mori. He was shoved directly into being the sheep’s leader when he was around 15 years old and hasn’t known anything besides that. dazai eventually treated him like his dog due to his ability being so easy to manipulate and when chuuya’s ability IS used, he essentially becomes animalistic and can only be controlled by dazai. cirice (the song) fits this dynamic so well as it talks about an abusive, almost cult-like relationship similar to the cult of the band ghost. at his core, dazai is a manipulative and cunning individual who cares about his partner but it took a while for him to actually do so. chuuya is trusting and loyal just like a dog, which is why this fits literally perfectly. (lyric analysis below :3)

for the opener of the song, i interpret this as chuuya’s ability being the “rumble” and his poem that he recites being the “calling” but this is up to interpretation!! I dont have a lot to say about this verse

the first two lines HEAVILY remind me of stormbringer and how chuuya dealt with his feelings of doubting the fact that he was even human. These particular lines almost feel like dazai is reminding him he’s human even though he has an entire demon inside of him that he cant control. “I can feel the thunder” to me, is dazai recognizing that chuuya values himself differently with stormbringer and his ability (and that he’s most likely going to take advantage of this later but whatevs). “I can see through the scars inside you” is almost like chuuya validating that dazai is also human too, that the abuse mori has put him through that he has reflected onto others doesnt entirely define him as a person

“You and i see eye to eye” is a VERY impactful and heavy line as chuuya and dazai have always been one in the same. partners, soukoku, soulmates, whatever it is theyre paired together and are essentially inseparable. despite their abilities being different and circumstances being different their struggles with humanity are almost identical. “Now there is nothing between us” alludes to the power that dazai has over chuuya in battle, particularly when he lets his ability take control without restraint. Their “merge” is eternal because chuuya will forever only be able to use his ability with dazai’s help, and dazai will always find power over chuuya because of that. “Cant you see that you’re lost without me?” Is another power-based line where dazai is most likely viewing himself as better than chuuya because he typically uses him as a tool with his ability, but only when said ability is being used. He’s manipulative in the sense where he cares about him but not FOR him and will always use him as a ruse for the things he needs. (the rest of the song has repeating lyrics so i didnt include them so i hope this made sense :) )

OK i don't know if this makes sense and low key scared of asking the greater community of Tumblr

so! Um. I'm 95% sure I'm plural and have been questioning for a good few years now (like 2016-17) and still unsure but whatever. Just is it normal for when someone co-fronts or co-cons that you feel like them? Like you feel what they should phantom-feeling look like orrr am i just a little bit goofy lol 😭

Especially when it comes to head mates who are fictives whose appearances are still based in source, since I know whenever they are in co it feels like a weird press against my brain / or this push that i'm not rlly alone and their influence is big: thus the uh phantom sort of feeling.

I don't know if its normal, or at least uncommon, or something else is going on. So any perspective thought is good.

I don't know how common the specific feeling your describing is mainly because I haven't ventured into the plural experiences tags in ahot minute, but what I can tell you is we work like that!

We often have more than one person co front and/or co con at any given time, and it feels very very similar to that. We can also see/visualize headspace fairly clearly (but thats mostly due to having lots of practice and other mental stuff helping to make it easyl, but even when Im not actively checking headspace or even just the fronting area, I do tend to feel that sort of light pressure on our brain

I am also have a massive collection of alterhuman identities since Ive had lots of time to figure that out due to being frontstuck for over a year and a half atp, and kinshifting can feel a bit similar with a sort of light brain pressure, but its like two different kinds of pressure (to me at least, everyone can be different) iykwim? Kinshifting tends to be 'softer' and formless like a blanket, while feeling others in co front/co con tends to have a bit more of a harder, more distinctive shape

If youre able to practice visualization, then Id say trying doing that to see if it helps (and a common misconceptions is that headspaces/inner worlds are limited to plurals, when theyre not! Its actually not uncommon for singlets to have a sort of innerworld, esp if they visualize things a lot in ther head). If you cant, then thats also totally ok! This may seem a bit silly, but sometimes opening a picrew can help, even if theyre appearance is close to their source, cause they may have strongg opinions on what the final picrew looks like, its also helped us with getting people to switch main front or get up to co con if needed sometimes

We - Jimin fans - might exaggerate a little but seems like members may feel some begrudge towards Jimin especially after his not so small records in 2023-2024, though they look quite normal with the fact that Jungkook was given probably x5 of that each one of them had. I think people's perceptions can be different when they are only viewers of two people's interactions..sometimes the perception comes from them projecting that situation into themselves and seeing it from an irl pov, sometimes it's influenced by being on stan twitter and certain fan spaces where there is constant negativity fanwars back and forth and they don't realize how these things do impact their reaction to things, sometimes the reactions is influenced by being a prisoner of a specific narrative and pov when it comes to jimin that puts him in a certain specific position and being stuck in that. All in all i can get to a certain extent why some ppl might see a members words actions...as rude while others will perceive that as overdramatic when they judge that situation based on irl friendships....i think what matters the most beyond this is taking the context of bts friendships, jimins words and things that are honestly pretty obvious, into consideration...some things can be criticized and judged thats normal but i'm not the type to use that to cancel out their friendships or put a certain judgement that goes against the louder parts i've seen when it comes to how they all treat eo and take them as facts, that the members hate him are bitter when it comes to his success..these are things that no one will ever know. There is plenty of people that can be so loud in their support and show it off and be bitter deep inside so that's kind of a useless debate, involving people i don't even know irl. So i decide personally (for my own sake and because i'd hope for jimin to have that) that the members around him that he loves, love him back and do not have ill intentions, and i think thats what matters the most to me. The rest is all little actions here and there up for debate and criticism for the action in itself and it stops at that limit for me.

And if i was to answer your question in a more direct way..if anything i've seen some members showcase their support for jimin in very explicit ways so i don't even think this whole thing can be generalized but all in all i'd separate feeling jealous(IF TRUE) and also wanting something for yourself from being envious or resentful of jimin over that and i just don't think it goes that far. Like jin tearing down the jimin poster during his live in a very jokey matter also knowing jins character and the way he jokes doesn't equal to him having nurtured a negative attitude towards jimin resenting him and holding begrudge it doesn't cancel out years of friendships, years of other good moments, and even more with how they seemed to keep close contact when jin was enlisted, like not every single action has to be this micro-analyzed and deep and linked to a whole narrative that was created and that is no way fact checked, like we all need to calm down. Like yall aren't gonna survive 2025 with this constant jumping on every single thing, it's gonna be exhausting and i genuinely do not want to be there for it.

The members reactions and level of that can be a bit different tho with someone like jk i feel like the dynamic is different with him and all the bts members(jm included btw) have a strong case of coddling and babying jungkook and praising him non stop, and because his achievements always go with what the company is pushing for and everyone else, they all ride more strongly on that and give it more legitimacy because thats what was intended lol

Summary: It's gonna be Wonka's special day soon. So they need to plan, and act fast! But not everything goes well. So what can they do?

Felix Fickelgruber sat in his office: planning meetings, writing notes, chocolate plans, stocks, you know the drill. Buisness meetings piled up his mind so he couldn'treally take a breathe out of it. It was stressful!

As he finished his daily business, he checks his calendar, everythings normal but then something caught his eye. Wonka's birthday. How could he forget? It's in a week, everything needs to be perfect. For him. For his boyfriend.

The green-suited man immediately planned what to get for his boy: plushies, a suit, a dress? Anything. And what else does he like? What about the cake? It was all jumbled in his head. It has to be perfect. But how could he do it in a short ammount of time? How can he? He needs a team, Wonka's friends and that Noodle girl.

He hasted out of the office to find Wonka's friends. He rushed to the local library where Noodle lived with her mother. He raised his hand the oak door. Knock knock! The brass handle turns, the door swung opened.

"Mr. Fickelgruber, what are you doing here?" Noodle asked.

"Oh hello Noodle, my dear. I'm terribly sorry for interrupting you at this early hour but Wonka's birthday is next week."

"Next week?" She gasped, she also seemed to forget. Well that might make it worse.

Felix and Noodle agreed to work together for the birthday boy. The duo rush to find the others and get them to plan for this special day.

The plan was simple: get some good desserts and food; get some gifts; party decorations; and last of all, guests!

Time was ticking. Its only within a week from now.

Mr. Fickelgruber would ordered some good food, Lottie would help spread the word through her tounge, Larry would help be the comedian of the party, this is perfect! The food would taste like heaven, with one of the finest bakers in town, everything should be arriving soon. Posters and fliers were handed out. Now they can finally rest. They worked their ass off for this, for him.

Days had passed. The sun rosed up as slow as a snail. The birds tweep.

But then, the thunder to this story came. Felix woked up with a call on the phone.

"Hello?"

The other person spoke in a classy voice, "I'm so sorry to inform you sir, but the chef seems to be busy at the date booked. He has an important visit at the time booked so we might have to delay it to another day"

Ah shit. Another day? Really?. What should he do now?

Just as he finished the call, the personal butler of his hustled in for another phone call, this time it was Larry. The comedian explained in a guilty tone that his part in the party may nto happen as there might be an important visiting to attend on exactly that day. This is a disaster! The deliveries seem to be delayed, people are booked, the special day is only in three days!

The thoughts tangled in his head like your hair when you wake up. He needs to fix this, and fast.

Immediately he searches for other replacements. Nothing works. Nothing goes to plan. Nothing is good. He wanted to scream into a pillow because of this.

But then he took a breathe, breathing in and out. Let's rethink this carefully and slowly. He needed to remember who this was for. His boyfriend.

What was is it about him? Wonka doesnt really care about anything. Any gift given to him, even if its as small as a penny, would give him joy. So even if the party isn't as lavish like a corrination party, he would still love it. It's the thought that counts to him. The love and care would fill his heart, no matter what

Thats it. Thats it.

Another lightbulb popped in his head. The boy loves plushies, any kind, so why not make one himself? Who cares if it looks god awful, it doesnt matter as long as it was made with love.

Over the next two days, things fall smoothly again. Larry's visit was sent to another time, Felix could actually make and bake some things with chocolate even when he managed to found a replacement, and the gifts for the chocolate maker was ready.

And then, the fated day had arrived...

Everyone had preapared, the cakes, the seats, the guest, everything.

Wonka woke up at the crack of dawn and started his usual routine: brush his teeth get dressed, and set off to work. Wonka had not catched up with everyone lately, so obviously he had no idea what was coming for him. He was swarmed with buisness strangles to even take a break. He came back to his appartment after another long day at work. His back was slouched, shoulder dropped. His fingers twisted the silver doorknob. He needed a break, he needed a break. The door creaked. Lights were off. As he flipped the switch, his eyes widened.

Everyone in unison shouted, "Happy Birthday!" There was a crowd of people at his house. There were like hundreds of people there.

Willy's heart tingled with a warm feeling. Even he forgot it was it was his birthday so it was nice people actually took the time to care for him. His boyfriend shoes tapped on the floor. He greeted him with a kiss. Felix raised out a wrapped gift.

Wonka's eyes widened and imediately ripped open the wrapping. It was a hand-sewed plushie of him and Felix, made by Mr. Fickelgruber himself. It was crudely done, but he loved it. He burtsed with tears of happiness and immediately hugged Felix.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" He then gave a big smooch on the lips. His boyfriend ruffed his curly locks with a curl at the corner of his lips.

He had a great day. Seeing Mr. Chucklesworth's stories and jokes, the gifts, the dance, the cakes.

Everything was beautiful. Just the way the birthday boy likes it.

random escaped the fade AU hawk thoughts 💥 bam 💥 bam

If she were an npc in the game youd find her always sitting at her own little table up top where isabela always stands. Instead of isabela greeting you when you get near her sometimes they have a little banter instead (or both talk to rook). Hawk is always either playing wicked grace against someone (you can see shes winning because theres always more treasure on her side), drinking a glass of wine, or just chilling (theres multiple different animations for chilling because my imagination does not have a budget or time constraints)

I think i want hawk to like, appear while solas tries his ritual at the start of the game. If demons can slip through why cant my good ol buddypal hawk? Ill make it easy for her and have her plop down in rivain already since the rifts seemed to be opening up everywhere (arlathan isnt minrathous after all)

Being in the real world again after so long fucks her body up since its acclimated itself to the fucky time and atmosphere of the fade so she promptly crumples onto the ground and passes out from malnutrition/dehydration/exhaustion shes at like deaths door basically. Rip. But luckily gets found by some passing lords. They INTEND to just rob her blind and move on, but the seer they have with them is being accosted by the spirits going absolutely nuts over hawk telling them shes so so important and specials thats their favorite little fade dwelling person. Which is insane so they shrug, rob her blind and then haul her ass off to the hall to decide what to do.

midway through hawk kind of fades into consciousness and shes like ????? And the group of lords are like yo and hawk is still like practically dying, so she feels like ass, and the sun hurts her eyes and her thoughts are completely scrambled. So shes like huh?? Whuh?? Isabela?? (First thing that comes to mind because her loved ones were the only thing that kept her going in there) and the group of lords is like fuuucckkk shes a friend of the boss. And nothing really changes except they give her items back to her which she deliriously accepts.

You are admiral isabela, leader of the lords of fortune and totally over what happened ten years ago, and youre having a very normal and regular day until your resident seer approaches you and tells you the spirits are going hog fucking wild and really badly want your attention. So youre like okay finally my beauty is seen from across the veil but also what the hell and then a spirit possesses your seer and in a way more vague and complicated way basically just says “your girlfriend who died is alive actually and shes zeroing in on your location.” Youre not drunk enough for this revelation.

By the time hawk arrives at the hall she is slightly more normal, mostly just in a lot of pain now, can barely walk, mind still foggy (also still reeling from the fact that there are real people that are touching her and talking and there are words coming out of their mouths to her). The first actual reunion is really messy because one party is five seconds away from passing away and scattering like ashes to the wind while the other is simultaneously confused, bewildered, elated, barely processing this and also kind of pissed.

So the first thing hawk does of course is throw herself into isabelas arms and start ugly crying full on sobbing, which is REALLY awkward for everyone and kind of ruining the vibe. Bela is still understandably processing all of this and just kind of goes great job guys! Um, give me the full report on how you found her later, i gotta lay her down! Also send for our healer! So everyone kind of scatters with at least ten questions but at least they scattered and isabela puts hawk in her inventory and then places her down furniture style in an empty room they have lying around. I dont think she really wants to confront All Of This just yet so she kind of, awkwardly checks in on hawk who is still crying and holding onto any part of her for dear life its very embarrassing which says a lot about just how much this fucked her up. But as soon as the healer comes in isabelas like alright well were gonna take good care of you ill leave you with the healer byebye!!!! And goes to her own private quarters to explode. Badly.

And then pbbbbtttt (waves my hands around) lots of complicated feelings blah blah blah hawk joins the lords proper and does absolutely nothing (because shes still in recovery) and eventually over time she and isabela properly get back together again HAPPY ENDING.

So sorry if this has already been asked, i'm only a few asks into MList 4 ;vv; but I had to get this out of my brain.

What if the skeleguys pets or their siblings pet(especially those who have a service animal), started trying to alert his SO ? Like just general pawing, nudging hand, trying climb into their lap or get their attention. Sometimes they make noises- like just general signs of " yo, take a break. Check yourself." The SO doesn't know whats wrong though and is confused. They listen to the pet and allow them to do their thing - however the pet tries to help. Maybe if they both decided to shrug it off, and he comes back later to see SO napping or just really mellowed out compared to normal with the Animal on them.

After a bit of confusion and checking they found out SO has general anxiety. (Nothing particularly triggering, just medical stuff) and SO's response is "oh... its not normal to feel that way?" Turns out, SO tells their bonefriend, they have felt that way (panicky and nervous) for literal years and thought thats just how life was lol. They just learned to suppress it.

So currently Dog, owned by Sans and Papyrus, is the only service animal (not that the other skeletons don’t need or use Dog) but for the sake of this ask we’re going to pretend all of the skeletons own at least one service animal. 

Sans - Honestly not surprised you thought it was normal. He didn’t think much about his own anxiety until they got Dog either. He’s glad you’ve figured it out now though and he, Dog and Papyrus will all be here to help manage your anxiety going forward.  

Papyrus -He was wondering why Dog seemed less lazy then normal although he can’t say he’s happy to hear you’ve felt bad since forever. On the plus side Papyrus already knows a heap of ways to help with anxiety since he researched it for Sans and He’s a lot of help. 

Red - He can’t help but laugh at your response. Of course normal people aren’t going around panicking all the time. He has high anxiety all of the time so although he can relate he might not be able to help a lot here but he is very supportive . The two of you talk about it a lot and discuss what each of you can do to make things easier. His service animal is basically shared between the two of you although you try not to distract the poor animal. 

Edge - He’s honestly relieved to hear it’s just general anxiety. They have the animal for Red who is all kinds of messed up so yours is basically nothing in comparison. That doesn’t mean Edge isn’t going to take this extremely seriously. The two of you are going to learn together exactly what to do to help keep you calm. 

Blue - He’s fretting over you know but in the most reassuring and positive way ever. It is so clear he cares a lot for you and Blue is extremely good at helping you manage your anxiety. Even if Blue doesn’t see an anxiety attack coming he is always prepared with things to help calm you down, whether that's a fidget or just a good distraction. 

Orange -Well now that he knows you have anxiety he knows what to look out for. Orange is very observant and can see when you are beginning to get a tad overwhelmed, he also knows exactly how to calm you down and prevent a full on attack. You have never felt so relieved. Orange is just happy he and his dog could help you. 

Berry -It stresses him out. He is the one who has the service animal, not Syrup so having them alert to you makes Berry feel like he might have done something wrong or messed you up in some way before the two of you get an explanation. Berry tries to help you with your anxiety as best he can but sometimes he feels like he falls short. 

Syrup -He is very patient and understanding. The two of you learn about your mild anxiety together and how to help you with it. Syrup knows all your triggers and is super supportive. Whatever you need he will help you with and he is more than happy to do so.
