Will not ever be getting over Quan Yizhen.

He is the puppy-doggiest boy of all time. He is the sweetest baby in the world. He is the cutest bean ever born.

My favourite scenes are ones where he tries to thank Xie Lian!! Because all Xie Lian did was throw chopsticks to make the curtain fall!! He barely did anything!! Most of the other gods don’t even realize he’s the one who did it!!

But Quan Yizhen not only noticed it was him, he also felt grateful!!! He tried to stuff his donation box with gold bars!!! And, my absolute favourite example, when he woke up to find Xie Lian and Pei Ming in his room (while Pei Ming is trying to catch Shi Qingxuan), Pei Ming asks him to help out and Yizhen just. Throws his bed. At Pei Ming. Because even though he has not a single clue what the fuck is going on, he wants to thank Xie Lian.

I could ramble about my love for Yizhen for all of eternity. I love him so so so so so much.

The scene where Yin Yu “knocks him out” with the shovel, only for Quan Yizhen to wait to be dug out and then reveal that he wasn’t actually knocked unconscious??? (Beautiful, amazing, 10/10, implies that even after everything, Yin Yu still can’t bring himself to hurt Yizhen, and I just abdjdjfbdjdn) Everyone is so completely shocked, because “Qi Ying just tricked us????” Quan Yizhen is so straightfoward and blunt that him pulled a trick like this is something literally nobody saw coming, he’s a strategic genius-

Xie Lian says that Yizhen probably recognized Yin Yu because he remembers his habits, like pacing when he’s uncertain. Which is just- Quan Yizhen hasn’t seen Yin Yu in centuries, but still remembers his ticks…

I love how literally everyone thinks that Yizhen is mad at Yin Yu, but all Quan Yizhen wants is to hug him and get head pats and he doesn’t blame Yin Yu for snapping at him and he still gets angry when people badmouth Yin Yu and and and and-

Yizhen just loves hims Shixiong. He joined the sect because Yin Yu was there. He became a god because Yin Yu suggested he should. He never stops caring for Yin Yu, even when Yin Yu tries to murder him. I love them so much.

But also, I love Quan Yizhen with Xie Lian. Not as a romantic ship, I just like that they’re two peas in a pod. They both see amazing martial ability and automatically praise it. They are the most neurodivergent characters. They both think Yin Yu is pretty cool. They are buddies, and it’s like two puppies play wrestling, I can’t get over it.

Of course, Shi Wudu as Regina George - both massively bitchy and are obviously in charge of their respective trios.

Ling Wen as Gretchen Weiners - extremely knowledgeable, the intelligence gatherers of the group and so obviously five seconds away from mental breakdowns at any point in time.

Pei Ming as Karen Smith - himbo to bimbo communication. They have no idea what's going on but they get laid and look soooo pretty while doing it :3

so because of celia ripley, who was originally in tma, we know that characters from the tma universe have alternate selves in the tmp universe. celia ripley isn’t [error], but jon and martin (presumably) are, which also means something interesting: either [error] characters have to have some tie to the institute in the tmp universe, or they’re originally from the tma universe and aren’t alternate universe tmp versions.

either way, i think this third character would have to be in some way associated with the magnus institute. it would have to be a significant character that doesn’t have a voice yet, and would be played by an older man. the tmp logo has alchemy symbols and an upside down philosopher’s stone, so there’s themes of immortality. can you see the vision

do i know the logistics of how we’d be hearing jonah’s voice? absolutely not. i have no idea how it would actually work out. but i would think it would be neat that the three characters who caused the fears to spread (jon, martin, elias/jonah) are also the three [error] characters in this. or i could be totally wrong but that’s just theorizing babey!

He Xuan had been writing in his diary. He was still planning the perfect revenge plot for the Shi brothers. He’s considered murder more times than not, but something is stopping him. Whether it be fate or Hua Cheng's nagging (he only said it once, but still), he considered other options. With the knowledge that Shi Qingxuan knows nothing of the fate swap, he doesn’t have anything better to do. Then Hua Cheng called him via the spiritual communication array. Zoning back in, He Xuan hears Hua Cheng say something that he normally wouldn’t care for. “... Of course, I wouldn’t dare defile His Highness, but to think…” He Xuan doesn’t care for that- Heaven, he doesn’t even know the context or what he says after, but he suddenly stands up and slams his hands on the table so hard that his bonefish look back at him. And then, he writes. OR: He Xuan, after some thinking, comes up with the perfect revenge plan to anger Shi Wudu.

something that doesn’t focus on their work as much but more of just. they’re connections bonds and relationships between eachother ,,, getting to see more “homey” or lived in places or regular settings , ,, pacesetter going 2 the grocery store or deepdiver visiting the park ,,,, imagine them just wearing whatever they wanted instead of their work clothes and just hanging around

the closest thing i can think of to describe what i mean is those 2014 lego movie grimdark / gritty AUs where they showed what happened after the movie and where they made the characters feel even more human than they already were , giving them struggles like alcoholism or relationship issues .,,,this doesn’t necessarily mean i want a fully angst au , more so just the vibe of what these AUs felt like: more human !!! i dream of somehow fulfilling my dream of being able to reach a level of humanizing and even further fleshing out the managers of ttcc and whatnot through my art and maybe even eventual writing ,, the idea of that kind of AU or whatever it would be called just feels really neat to explore ,,,

a lot of the times when i think about this idea (or rather ideas) it’s like spinning the characters around in my head in homey or gritty settings like , maybe a lonely road near sunset , or at a variety store at night ,,, imagine everything those teen movies do where they sneak into pools and sneakily do other illegal stuff and go to parties ,, stuff like that but with ttcc .,,,
