Some 8 years late to the party, I finally sat down and watched Agent Carter! As someone who hasn't seen a Marvel movie since about 2013, never saw either of the Captain America movies, and has been generally pretty fed up with Marvel and superhero stuff anyway, I decided it might still be worth checking out since Agent Carter was, conceptually, so different from the prevalent standard superhero fare.
Overall I would say I enjoyed it! The show really took me back to the days of early spy thrillers and had a slight film noir influence, which is always a plus for me. I liked the "woman in a man's world" angle, as it really helped sell the whole spy thing - something that is absolutely rooted in truth as well!
The first season was pretty solid, a tasty blend of espionage, sci-fi, and film noir that - references to Captain America movies I didn't watch - managed to stand on its own and I felt would have made a great standalone miniseries. The second season, while still pretty good, was less interesting to me. Normally I'm frothing at the mouth for some good sci-fi, but I felt like S2 betrayed the standard set up by S1 and took on more of a comic book angle that was less about Peggy herself and more about the people she worked with. Which is fine, since that's essentially what the season was about - how she manages to deal with the consequences of being close to people in her dangerous line of work - I just found the whole Zero Matter/Evil Council plotline significantly less interesting than the spy angle from S1.
At the end of the day I think I would have enjoyed this show more if I were, y'know, a Marvel fan, but I can't really say I am. Still, when it's not focused on being part of a cinematic universe or whatever, it was a good watch!

Note
last anon here. I literally ship sambucky????
I'm sorry I'm just tired of seeing a stupid ass character being reused when better characters are there.
Ah, so you never shipped Sticky?
Well, I’m sorry Peggy Carter stole your work lunch everyday for three months to cause this level of distaste. May she never get to appear in some episodes of a cartoon miniseries again.

Peggy Carter miniseries - part 2
You're under arrest, Miss Y/N.
Pairing: Peggy Carter x Fem!reader
Warnings: grammatical errors
PART 1 IS HERE
PART 3 IS HERE
Tumblr media
1947
Peggy was sitting in a chair, trying to solve the difficult case. It didn't go through her head. A group of criminals. Theft.
"Have a coffee, Maggie," Jack Thompson handed her a coffee.
She smiled at him. "Thank you," she sipped her coffee.
Jack sat down next to her. "Don't you want to take a break?"
She shook her head. "No. I want to work this out quickly."
Jack looked at the papers and the photos of the criminals. "You know, they say they're ruled by a woman."
 That fascinated Peggy. "What woman?"
Jack continued. "It's not 100% certain, but ... I don't know anything about that woman. It's just that it's hard to catch her."
"You didn't help me," Peggy said.
"You know, just catch one of them and make him tell the truth."
"Of course. Your interrogation," she muttered. Sometimes she disagreed with him. Sometimes his interrogation did not produce good results. But sometimes yes.
"We'll see what can be done." Jack stood up and stroked her on the back. He wanted to walk into his office when Daniel Sousa rushed into the SSR.
Peggy didn't look at him much, not because it was embarrassing because they broke up, but because she was interested in the man by his side. He had handcuffs.
 "Who's this?" she asked.
"One of that group!" Sousa shouted.
 Peggy and Jack exchanged glances.
In a few minutes, the man was singing. He told them everything except.
"I think you're ruled by a woman. Who is she?" Jack didn't give up.
The man shivered. He was sweaty.
"She'll kill me if I say this," he stammered shakily.
Peggy stopped him. "You will be after our protection. Say."
 "I can't ... I can't ... why don't you leave me alone?? I told you everything !!" he shouted.
"Not everything, buddy. You missed the most important thing." Jack told him.
"Let's start with the simpler one. Tell her first name ..." Peggy crossed her arms.
The man clenched. He didn't want to say anything.
She rolled her eyes. "Okay, we'll be here until you say something."
After a few minutes of silence, he couldn't stand it. "It's Y/N."
 Peggy froze.
 "What? What did you say?"
The man cried. "I said that. She'll kill me,"
Peggy was furious. "Is it Y/L/N???!"
The man turned pale. "How do you know??"
Peggy looked badly. "Excuse me," she told Jack, falling out of the office.
She washed her face for a few seconds and stared at herself in the mirror.
Y/N. She couldn't believe it. Y/N. She repeated her name in her head.
It's been 8 years. 8 years. 8 years what a lot has happened. Eight years since Peggy didn't forgive herself for what happened.
She blamed herself. In the end, she didn't marry Fred. She became an agent.
She didn't understand how she could be so selfish then. Suffice it to say yes. And they could be together. But no, they were here. She wouldn't even dream of meeting her like this. If they meet.
Her love. First love. Is it not said that first love cannot be forgotten? In the case of Peggy, this was doubly true.
Y/N was such a lovely child. Adorable. Peggy fell in love with her immediately. She told her she will marry her. They exchanged a few harmless kisses.
 And they found themselves here.
Y/N was right. She was always right. Peggy clenched her red nails in her hands. It hurt, but she didn't care.
 I hurt her a lot.
But she never stopped thinking about her. Not once. She thought of her every god's day.
What was Y/N involved in? It didn't look like her.

Stupid Rant About Anything #2
Sharon Carter. Hmmm.
<spoilers if you haven’t seen the finale of F&WS> I think that Sharon plot twist was actually quite good. I suspected it from the start tbh. But I felt like it was a bit, out of the blue. How did Sharon go from helping the Avengers in Civil War to being a villain? I mean I get it, after 5 years things change, but I wish they could have shown the change.
WE NEED A SHARON MINI SERIES! To show Sharon on the run and her slowly changing into the Power Broker because it felt a bit rushed and I still can’t wrap my head around that Sharon is a bad guy now. SHE IS BRINGING SHAME TO THE AGENT CARTER NAME (but I still love her tbh hahaha)

Pitch for a MCU miniseries: “A Larger Universe - Tales from Marvel”
Plot Summary:
As a standalone, anthology miniseries, each episode is a different “tale” focused on heroes who haven’t gotten the spotlight in the main MCU. But the REAL reason why this miniseries is being made is to fully integrate the Marvel Television shows into the main MCU canon.
So, under the guise of “highlighting unexplored heroes”, the show is actually completing the merger of the Marvel TV shows that came before Disney Plus/Phase 4.
Hypothetical Episode Line-Up:
1) Quake: Former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent-turned-S.W.O.R.D. agent Daisy Johnson is sent to deal with a rogue cell of Flag Smashers, who are still around despite the loss of their leader (purpose of this episode is to address “Agents of SHIELD”).
2) The Other Carter: In the 1950s, Agents Peggy Carter and Daniel Sousa follow a lead on the assassin responsible for shooting Agent Jack Thompson (resolves the cliffhanger from “Agent Carter”).
3) The Man Who Can’t Speak: In Honolulu, Hawaii, a young couple befriends a mute man (Black Bolt) who claims to have come from the empire of “Attilan” a city located on the Moon. Thinking he’s insane, the couple later learn that the mute man is who he says he is and that he needs their help in finding a way back to his people (this is a soft reboot of the “Inhumans” show).
4) Sister Grimm: While fighting in Xialing’s underground fighting ring, Wong befriends a young witch named Nico Minoru. Seeing her potential as a magic user, Wong offers her a spot in the Sanctum Sanctorum as his mentee/protege (purpose of this episode is to address “Runaways”).
5) Light & Dark: Damage Control agents Sadie Deever and P. Cleary, coming off their run-in with Kamala Khan, are assigned to a lead on another pair of people with superhuman abilities, later revealed to be Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen (purpose of this episode is to address “Cloak and Dagger”).
6) Adventure into Fear: Wong and his mentee Nico Minoru learn about a supernatural being who has been terrorizing the streets of Los Angeles. The two of them go to investigate and discover that the supernatural being is Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider has been hunting the demon-human hybrid siblings, Daimon and Ana Helstrom (purpose of this episode is to reintroduce Robbie Reyes and to address “Helstrom”).
7) One Bad Night: Jessica Jones and Luke Cage follow a lead on the secret identity of Spider-Man. This turns out to be a mistake when the two of them learn that a crazy murderer is killing anyone who follows the fake lead. But the bad news for the murderer is...Frank Castle decided to follow the lead as well (purpose of this episode is to address “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”, and “The Punisher”).
8) The Legend of K’un L’un: Shang-Chi returns to Ta Lo in order to bond with his aunt, Ying Nan. While there, he is challenged by an arrogant martial artist known as “The Iron Fist” to a friendly duel to see who is the superior fighter. Depending on Marvel, this could either be Danny or Colleen. (purpose of this episode is to address “Iron Fist”).

What’s your favorite version of Peggy? -S1, S2, Captain Carter, or First Avenger (and let’s throw in Old Peggy because she rocks). I’m reading through your fabulous AC posts and I wondered, why does she soften so much in S2? I love it when it comes to her friends, but I know a lot of people think they just dubbed her down. That’s not what I think-I think she let down the walls she’s been holding up since before and after Steve, the war, all that. What do you think?
So, you’re making me choose my favorite wife, huh? I see how it is, lol.
So, First Avenger Peggy will always have a special place in my heart, because she was my first love. She was the version that made me adore the character unconditionally. Without her, we have none of the greatness that came later.
Cap Peggy (any version of Cap Peggy) is just, dream come true that I never thought I’d have, frankly.  I mean, I’ve been in love with that idea since the character first showed up in a damn mobile game, okay? I’ve been thirsting after that character for years. First we got the mobile game, then she showed up in the Exiles books, then one of the videogames, then the friggin gift to humanity that is the What If ep. And after all that, we’ve got more What If to look forward to, she’s got her own miniseries in the comics, and we got friggin live action Cap Peggy, despite all the mixed emotions I have there. So there’s something very cool about that iteration, because I got to watch her get better and better over time, just like with OG Peggy.
My MVP though has to be season 1 Peggy. She’s the version that proved Peggy could carry her own story outside of Steve’s. She’s the one we got to see with Jarvis and Angie. She’s the one who absolutely crushed it in one of my favorite finales of all time. She’s the one who uttered the immortal, “I know my value” line. We just got so much awesomeness out of that season, and it was such a blast for me to watch week to week, and it gave me the basis for so much of my fic stuff afterward. She was just, everything I first fell in love with in First Avenger, to the enth degree.
As to your question, I think it’s a bit of both, honestly. Season 1’s ending was definitely a turning point, where she was more willing to let her guard down, let people in, and I dug that evolution. At the same time, I feel like they dumbed her supporting cast down *cough, Sousa, cough* and had her react to stuff there in ways that felt inauthentic to the character, to a lot of people, and because of that, you get the dumbed down argument. I never found it to be like, oh, she’s literally been replaced by a Skrull level of OOC, (looking at you, PB Sharon and NWH Strange), but there were moments that definitely felt off, as far as her interactions with the mains. I will say that her spycraft scenes remained badass pretty much throughout. We never got to the indignity of oh, I’m the Black Widow, one of the world’s best spies, but I can’t get out of this rusty ass cage because the director is a moron.

Alright, I finally got to see MoM, so have my thoughts about it (they’re free):
Multiverse of Madness SPOILERS
Stephen Strange: world renowned neurosurgeon, former Sorcerer Supreme, & savior of humanity cannot tie a tie.
Idk why he’s complaining about losing Christine when Wong is right there & available.
America Chavez my beloved, welcome to the MCU. Smashing entrance on your part, please stick around for the rest of my life.
Honestly I can’t really blame Wanda, I’d probably do the same thing in her situation. I don’t condone killing America, but considering everything Wanda’s been through & done I understand where she’s coming from & her desperation.
What I wouldn’t give for a miniseries of her slow descent into corruption by the Darkhold. (not a 2nd season of WandaVision, that ended perfectly, I mean a separate miniseries)
Sooooo Wanda’s line about Stephen breaking the rules vs her breaking the rules held up for literally the entire movie.
I have to wonder why Wanda didn’t seem to care about being w/ Vision as well as her sons. Probably because Vision would put a stop to that shit as soon as she tried it. But actually probably because they just couldn’t get Paul Bettany.
The entire Illuminati scene gave me AGGRESSIVE flashbacks to the era of WV theories. From Patrick Stewart’s Professor X making an appearance to John Krasinski as Reed Richards (tHe AeRoSpAcE eNgInEeR).
Also gotta wonder why the Illuminati is so bent about the powers of a man who got bested by a child who knew math.
I’d watch a Marvel Illuminati movie.
What happens when the Illuminati finds out that the Wiccan (son of the Scarlet Witch who possesses the same power set & is destined to rewrite the rules of magic & reality itself) becomes the Sorcerer Supreme (now also possesses the same powers they’re so worried about Stephen having)?
Honestly this movie said Sapphics Win bc we got:
- America being pretty
- America existing as a lesbian (yk that pride pin will be edited out to make money overseas but it’s fiiiine)
- America having 2 moms
- Wanda being pretty
- Wanda wrecking everyone’s shit in all her monstrous glory (covered in blood, morphed into a terrifying mind monster, killing innocent people, doesn’t matter. I’m gay).
- Live action Captain Carter!!!! Peggy on that Super Soldier juice
- Maria Rambeau wrecking shit right back as Captain Marvel
- & Rachel McAdams was . . . there
Don’t think a falling statue should’ve killed Captain Mar(ia)vel but it was caused by Wanda so okay.
Take a shot every time that 1 chord plays to remind you see? This is a horror movie! We’re a horror movie! It’s supposed to be scary you guys!
& take a shot for every eye the camera decides to emphasize.
Honestly props to Elizabeth Olsen’s acting prowess because every time she lets out her witchy side is *chef’s kiss*.
No fucking way Wanda’s dead, she’s way too powerful to be killed by some falling rocks, & there’s no way Lizzie’s contract is up.
(although if she wanted to - which she probably does - she could let herself die, & given everything that’s happened to her I wouldn’t blame her)
So, I’d thought that the woman in the mid-credits scene was that 1 girl from Eternals (which I didn’t watch) but I looked her up & apparently she’s Clea, so neat.
FUCK THAT POST CREDITS SCENE I WANTED WANDA CRAWLING FROM THE RUBBLE NOT PIZZA BALL VENDOR GUY.
Overall, I really liked it, & I want more America.

this one really got me thinking because i'm usually more of a movie person than a tv show person! (i always take longer to start watching shows because it means i have to fully commit lmao)
1. The X-Files
I'm a recent newcomer to the fandom but I an IN LOVE
2. Agent Carter
because Peggy Carter, duh :D
3. Agents of Shield
it was the first marvel show I watched so it has a special place in my heart.
4. Howards End
(it's technically a miniseries but I'm still counting it) THE ACTING, GUYS. The acting is so skillful. It had a great cast, and yes, Hayley Atwell is in it.
5. Criminal
Specifically, I'm referring to the one episode with Hayley Atwell because I haven't watched any of the other episodes lol
ask me my top 5 anything!

Hello Sine, I read your post few days back on Howard. I didn’t know the MCU had an influence on the comics. I’m really surprised. My question is; were comic Tony or Steve subjected to some changes? Were they influenced by the MCU like Howard or is it mostly for unknown/side characters with no solid foundation? Thank you
Oh, yeah, comics have changed a lot in response to the MCU.
They have a habit of coming out with new events to run at the same time as MCU canon that are theoretically supposed to draw in new readers, I assume, but in practice really have nothing to do with whatever MCU thing is coming out and are generally very confusing. When CACW came out they ran Civil War II, which was a fight between Tony and Carol (who did not, at the time, exist in the MCU) about an Inhuman who I am pretty sure does not exist in the MCU. When Infinity War came out they ran Infinity Wars, which also featured a bunch of people who did not exist in the MCU and was about running a weird bodysharing AU inside the Soul Stone.
They also like to reprint older issues to coincide with MCU events, which is nice of them, but, like, God help you if you watch Age of Ultron and then decide to read Age of Ultron. There are collections of Sam’s complete Cap tenure coming out now, which is very nice, but if you are here from the MCU you may be confused about the part where Sam becomes Cap because Steve is unexpectedly 95 years old (okay, so maybe that part is easy to get now that Endgame has happened) and then also Steve is young again but secretly Hydra and simultaneously Captain America. (They are not reprinting the Steve run that was going on at the same time, as far as I can tell.) And then they push other series into prominence because people like the MCU versions -- and, I mean, I am enjoying the hell out of the current Guardians run, but its major characters include Moondragon, Phyla-Vell, and Rich Rider, so good luck, MCU fans.
Fandom is pretty sure that they stopped FF for a few years because they didn’t have the movie rights and also that they went around retconning a bunch of characters to not be mutants back when they also didn’t have the movie rights to the X-Men; the two most famous are Wanda and Pietro, but, I mean, there was also a Squirrel Girl issue devoted to explaining that she definitely was not a mutant now. They probably also pushed a lot of Inhuman characters and tried to position Inhumans as sort of the next mutants, narratively, because they had movie rights to those.
The main Avengers team is now pretty much mostly made up of characters they want to push in the MCU as well as characters people will know from the MCU. You can tell they also tried to do this at the beginning of Hickman’s Avengers run because he started with the MCU team from the Avengers movie before shoving like twenty additional people onto the team, and then they came out with Avengers Assemble which was very continuity-light and featured a lot of MCU dynamics (like, Bruce being anyone the Avengers regularly hang out with, which was definitely not the case before the MCU). They added Coulson to the comics, too. And Nadia is definitely not the same as Hope, but, uh, her name means “hope” in Russian which is, as we say now, very sus.
Also the Infinity Stones are now Gems and their colors, I think, match the MCU.
In terms of specific changes to Tony and Steve’s comics:
The RT node was obviously clearly introduced because of the arc reactor, and I would bet that Zeke Stane was created because suddenly people cared about Obadiah Stane a lot more. (Am sort of surprised they didn’t decide to resurrect him, actually.) The comments from Marvel editorial in the letters column during Bendis’ IM run were explicitly clear about the fact that they were trying to make 616 Tony sound more like RDJ in terms of quippiness and general personality. There is at least one armor that is a straight-up port of MCU armor.
Coates’ current Cap run has brought Peggy Carter back to life -- she died several years ago -- made her young, and also not made her a blonde anymore. You know, so she looks more like MCU Peggy. (The hair color thing is particularly weird in light of the fact that Steve originally noticed Sharon specifically because she looked so much like Peggy.) You get a lot more comics putting Steve’s origin in Brooklyn (although this is not 100% consistent and never was) and also I read an entire miniseries that seemed to be under the impression that in 616 it was the Red Skull’s fault Steve got iced. (It was Baron Zemo.)
There are probably more but that’s all I can think of right now.

Celebrating 50 Years of Bobbi Morse!!!
Tumblr media
In June of 1971, Bobbi Morse made her first comics appearance in the pages of Astonishing Tales #6. She wasn’t known as Mockingbird yet; in fact, her first appearance showed her as an unnamed brunette girl with reported psychic powers showing up at Ka-Zar’s ancestral home looking for him, telling his butler that Ka-Zar was in grave danger. She found Ka-Zar in the Savage Land two issues later, but it wasn’t until issue #12 where Bobbi revealed that she was working for SHIELD and that the reason she came to the Savage Land was to find Ka-Zar and ask for his help in tracking down her missing colleague, Ted Sallis (who, unbeknownst to them, had been turned into the Man-Thing).
For a few years, Bobbi, also known as Agent 19, was a supporting character in Ka-Zar’s stories, a SHIELD agent representing Project Gladiator, a skilled fighter who helped Ka-Zar take down more than one bad guy, a protegee of Dr. Wilma Calvin and of Nick Fury, and very nearly a love interest for Ka-Zar. It didn’t work out between them, and they went their separate ways.
Bobbi returned, calling herself the Huntress, in Marvel Super Action #1 in July, 1976. She was posing as a rogue agent, documenting widespread corruption in SHIELD, so deep undercover that even Nick Fury wasn’t in the loop on her actions. The only ones who knew what she was up to were a US Member of Congress named F. A. Kirk, who tipped her off to the problem, and Dr. Calvin, her mentor.
She changed her name to Mockingbird in 1980, when she co-starred with Spider-Man in Marvel Team-Up #95. The in-universe reason given for this was that her cover as the Huntress had been blown, but the real reason was that in 1977, DC created Helena Wayne…also known as the Huntress. At the end of this issue, Mockingbird gives Nick Fury all the details he needs to root out SHIELD’s corruption, but she’s injured in the line of duty and falls into a coma.
In 1983, she co-stars in the 4-issue Hawkeye miniseries, written and penciled by Mark Gruenwald. At this point in her career, she’s retired from SHIELD and is working solo, but at the end of the miniseries, having seen how good of a team they make, Mockingbird proposes to Hawkeye, and they elope. He then introduces her to the Avengers, and the two of them are sent out west by the Vision to start a new branch called the West Coast Avengers, which they do for the next ten years, until Mockingbird tragically dies in Avengers West Coast #100, two issues before the book’s end. Mockingbird is remembered fondly by the Avengers as a fallen hero, and her husband takes a leave of absence to mourn.
Over the next 15 years, we see a few glimpses of Mockingbird in the afterlife, saving Patsy Walker, fighting “tainted souls”, participating in a book club with Gwen Stacy, Moira MacTaggert, and Dead Girl, and helping Dr. Strange.
But in 2008, it’s revealed that Bobbi never died at all–she was in fact replaced by a Skrull imposter and abducted. When she returns, she joins the Avengers with Clint, starts her own spy agency called the World Counterterrorism Agency, and works on her marriage and her mental health. Unfortunately, the mental health takes a toll on the marriage, and she and Clint reluctantly call it quits, although they still love each other and continue to be very close and help each other out when needed.
More recently, Bobbi gained super serum and infinity formula “powers,” returned to SHIELD, quit SHIELD, returned to SHIELD again, quit SHIELD again, teamed up with and briefly dated Spider-Man, helped train Silk as a SHIELD agent, joined Janet and Nadia Van Dyne’s joint lab for teenage girl scientists as a mentor, became very close to a Red Room escapee called Ying Liu, worked with the Winter Soldier to find out Ying’s missing background from Red Room records, founded and helped lead the Underground rebellion when Hydra controlled the United States, become a member of the secret Daughters of Liberty team with Sharon and Peggy Carter (among others), and joined Black Panther’s Agents of Wakanda team.
In the fifty years since she was introduced, Bobbi racked up list of accomplishments a mile long. Let’s hope there’s a lot more in store for her!

Peggy Carter miniseries - part 3
You're under arrest, Miss Y/N.
Pairing: Peggy Carter x Fem!reader
Warnings: grammatical errors
PART 2 IS HERE
PART 4 IS HERE
Tumblr media
Your POV
I was furious. Eddie said something he didn't have. I had to run away. I knew he couldn't be trusted.
And that idiot revealed my name!
I angrily packed my things in the suitcase. I'm leaving as soon as possible. It's over.
"Y/N? Are you there?" someone knocked on my door. Probably the police. Or agents.
 Fuck.
I looked from the balcony. It's a big height.
"Y/N! If you don't open it, we'll be forced to break down the door!"
 Idiots.
I ran to the balcony and wanted to get out of it when I hit the ground. I was falling and falling when someone caught me.
I froze. I would recognize that perfume everywhere.
Those eyes. I would recognize the brown ones everywhere.
"Y/N." a quiet voice kept me alive. And then I fainted.
Tumblr media
I woke up in an office. My head was buzzing. Water.
"I want water," my throat was completely dry.
A blonde man handed me a glass of water. "Here you go," he looked at me in disbelief.
 "Thank you," I replied.
He looked at me in surprise. But I had fog in my head.
 What has happened?
I only remembered Peggy. She saved me. But .. where is she? Did I just dream it? So it was a beautiful dream. I sighed.
"What do you want?" I narrowed my eyes.
He also narrowed his eyes. "I'll interrogate you."
Someone burst into the room. I looked up and almost felt sick. That's how I never dreamed it.
It is here.. Peggy Carter. She has changed. Her hair was shorter, her lips striped with red lipstick. She looked good. Very good. I hated myself for my thoughts.
She looked at me. As if nothing had happened. As if she never hurt me.
 "You're under arrest, Miss Y / N." she declared.
Tumblr media
"I know I'm under arrest, Peggy," I retorted.
The blonde man looked confused. "Do you two know each other?"
Peggy answered him quickly. "Yes. From the distant past. Right, Y / N?"
I ignored her. The man still looked confused. "So you want to interrogate her?"
"No. I want you to interrogate me," I begged. I didn't want to stay in the same room alone with Peggy.
"It's okay, Jack. You can go," she told him, and he obeyed.
When he closed the door, I looked at Peggy. My hands with handcuffs were placed on the table. "What do you want, Carter?"
She laughed. "Don't be so cold, Y / N. We both know you're not that."
"I'll ask you again. What do you want, Margaret?"
She approached me. She looked at me and licked her lips. "You've changed."
"You too," I said angrily. "Don't you have to interrogate me?"
"I do. You're right. I look good as an agent, right?" she smirked.
So she eventually became an agent. Great. But did she get married? I didn't see the engagement ring.
"Y / N. What did you think? Leading a group of thieves. What were you robbing? Apartment buildings?"
 I was silent.
She continued. "It doesn't look like you that way. I wouldn't say in my life that my sweet Y / N will steal people."
 "Don't call me that. I'm not your sweet Y / N anymore."
The look on her face softened. "But nothing happened to anyone and you didn't steal anything serious. It's all you. You can't be too evil. It's not such a big case. I can get you out of it."
 "I don't need your help."
"But you do. Admit it. You don't want to rot in jail for 1 year, do you?"
"1 year is not much," I objected.
"No, but the jail is terrible, Y / N."
She was right. I didn't want to stay in jail. But I didn't want her to get me out of there. I didn't want her help.
She knew me. That's why she said what she said. "Throw away your pride," she wanted to grab my hand, but I pushed it away. She looked hurt. Like me years ago.
Humiliated, I left with Peggy. To her home. They sold my house. I didn't even have money. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. To be saved by a woman who used to hurt me a lot.
