the fellowship at the beach:
aragorn: knows exactly where to go for peak waves and sun. it’s not crowded and quite frankly the fellowship is unsure if they’re technically trespassing but it’s a good enough time for them not to care. likes to set up canopies and umbrellas for everyone then disappears for like 2 hours on a walk/hike.
boromir: likes to grill/camp out. he enjoys large bond fires and roasting marshmellows. during the day he likes to do beach volleyball or swim in the ocean, a very physical dude. enjoys activities,,, has to be doing something.
merry: likes to fly kites with boromir on the dunes. not a huge fan of water, enjoys playing games and building large sandcastles. he and pippin like to turn gandalf into a sand mermaid when the can, as well as dig a giant moat with gimli.
pippin: gets sunburnt everytime. has so much sand in his hair. gets it everywhere. is a walking disaster- has lost several hats, sunglasses, beach toys, wallets, keys, phones,,,, everything pippin has in his possession when he comes to the beach he will no longer have when he leaves. this also includes the many stickers, magnets and keychains he swipes from nearby shops for keepsakes. wants to rent a jetski but no one will go with him.
frodo: likes to wade in the water and collect pretty seashells. brings them back to his friends to show them off. finds rocks in all shades and sizes, brings samwell heart shaped rocks as well as any cool colored ones that remind him of sam. gandalf once asked why frodo never brought him any rocks, in which frodo started collecting all grey rocks and bringing them to gandalf. funnily enough, most rocks are some shade of grey, and gandalf got rather sick of pebbles being chucked at him.
sam: has many towels and lots of sunscreen. very prepared with the snacks, brings sandwiches and drinks for everyone! likes to hang out in the shade and walk along the shore. enjoys the touristy shops along the coast, especially likes the salt water taffy and keychains. laughs loudly at all the gimmicky tourist traps,,,, always goes in/falls victim to them.
legolas: is weird about sand,,,,, cannot have it between him and something else. ex: between the shoes, clothing, hair. has to be directly on him or nothing at all (walking barefoot) once they are even within proximity the beach he jumps out immediately charges towards the water. likes to push people in/splash them.
gimli: no shoes no shirt no problem,,, immediately in just swim trunks as soon as they pull up to the parking lot. enjoys building massive sand castles with the hobbits as well as digging deep trenches to trap their compatriots in. they cover it with a towel, someone falls in and nearly breaks their neck- good times.
gandalf: brings a book to read, likes to chill in the shade and listen to the waves. falls asleep more often then not, wakes up barricaded in sand or made into a sand sculpture. will disappear suddenly and come back with ice cream. no one knows where he got it. he does not share or tell anyone where he gets this mysterious ice cream either.
bilbo: is reading with gandalf. he brings some iced tea and good sunglasses and just relaxes. he is a active people watcher, likes to eavesdrop as well as note and speculate on interesting figures. likes to do some light journaling/writing as well.
gollum: is fishing. lurks in the bay and attempts to catch fish with his bare hands, then proceeds to immediately eat them raw. also chases seagulls- will chath and eat those as well. he is, unfortunately, quite successful in this. he is also no longer allowed in or around several public beaches.

@nohoperadio tagged me in an ask meme. I was delighted to get to read their answers and delighted to be tagged. One question is about objects you have some attachment to, and I cannot post merely one or two of those; I am a compulsive fiddler surrounded by graspable objects at all times, and am furthermore very materialistic and like pleasant objects, and a few dozen of them are always tied for first place, so this question needs to be a post unto itself. Will be long, take warning.
"Show us an object in your daily life that you have an emotional attachment to - tell us a little bit about it if you want! (a favourite mug perhaps? socks with a cute pattern? dealers choice)" So keen.
Above:
1. A ring made from scrap copper sheet long ago in a workshop with someone who could solder. It is a reminder of my repeated failure to solder anything later in life. (It does recall failure, but I like its colour: heat-mottled, bright in the scratches. It looks like a speckled fish.)
2. A dark blocky figurine of a man sitting hunched over in despair, face in his hands. This is a wonderful shape to roll around: a carving with some narrative suggestion to it, which is also nearly a ball; brilliant. Because of the man's hopeless curled-up attitude, I also place it on top of stacks of paper I have yet to get to.
3. A sticker of Hans Holbein's portrait of Erasmus, whom I mostly like. It's a fine, distinctive, enjoyable portrait and I like his nose. I got this wishing to put it on either a notebook in which I finally wrote the Reformation theological heist story of my daydreams, or a suitable nonfiction book. I cannot decide on the most suitable book and have never actually written more than five thousand words of continuous story, so the sticker stays unplaced.
4. Two gifts from a friend who does Viking for his historical persona. He made the knife: blade, handle and sheath. He cut out and punch-decorated the brass bird, based on a period original.
A Herne-the-Hunter type I whittled into a camphor laurel stick.
A goose I scratched, based on a Pictish rock-carving.
Tiny toys owned by my mother. They're more than seventy years old. Their smallness always made them appealing.
A ring form I carved in wax once, then never cast (because that's harder and more steps and I went so far as making an attempted backyard furnace and it was lousy). So this, too, is a reminder of failure, but - it's a good object. It didn't reach precision, but it reached a degree of smoothness at which the compulsion to roll it round one's fingers switches on.
I pick up pretty stones and ceramic fragments as I walk, out of tactile covetousness. Some I try to make represent characters or historical people in narratives, as an aid to memory. The cracked crystal, rainbow at its flaw, stands (I decided) for Erasmus, and the blue-glazed shard for Zeus (during an attempt to learn the Hymn to Hermes well enough to tell it).
A pewter badge of membership issued by the historical society I go to, based on a Mongolian gerege.
A (bought) piece of amber whose shape suggests a koala. One day to be a return gift to the friend who made the knife. I delay because it would be good to carve it a bit first.
A pebble from Sherwood Forest. I went to England as a young adult, and was very excited, especially about Sherwood Forest and Canterbury.
A handle I carved (slightly) out of a fallen eucalyptus branch. The wood is hard; it took a lot of sanding. It is lovely in the hand now. I don't know what it should be a handle for; maybe an awl.
I was trying to write out a poem from memory, with good penmanship, for double practice. Of course I muffed both. Then I painted a marginal cassowary to express the anger and disdain my writing deserved. Then it turned out a fairly good cassowary and I couldn't stand to throw the paper out.
Spoon and brass flask-stopper.
Old example notebook. I usually carry around a notebook, and always long to fill it with good drawings and witty writings and helpful notes, and never succeed in so doing, and get attached anyway to my dismally lowbrow and feckless notes and then never throw them away. Alas.
I left my first cloak (a second-hand woolen blanket of a peculiar shade of teal) in a lovely friend's car and she SURPRISE-EMBROIDERED it. And returned it with this note pinned to it. As though I would ask her to remove her surprise embroidery! Pshaw. (The note has been in my treasure box for fifteen years.)
A work mate. I drew him. The carpark was boring.

The relationship has existed between wires for 3 years and 750 miles. Every warm embrace and every kiss planted, was translated into text by the wires, rendered cold and disconnected. During a precious week in December, the two had finally seen their eyes for the first time. Pebbles were exchanged, one had given the other a book of 1000 stickers.
A book that the other couldn't fathom a use for.
Half a year and a thousand miles later, they found the book in their darkest moment. Their face scrunched up like a squeezed sponge mourning the physicality of the relationship, cursing the wires, needing so badly to feel their love on their body, feeling guilty that they never found a use for a book of stickers, a book given face to face as a token of love.
and then.
*slap*
A heart-drawn sticker found its way onto their body, hovering over where their actual heart was. Then it was a bee, stuck right under the ear. Their body became a blank canvas for the stickers. Sublime, silly, sensuous stickers marking the body like hickies. 1000 stickers for 1000 hugs and kisses denied to them by the wires.
After the book was exhausted, their naked body was a photobash of love.

Gorgug Thistlespring has fully possessed my brain soooooooo
Headcanons
Mostly listens to like, rock music and sad boy indie music. Every song on Zeldas playlist is in his liked songs.
(I saw someone draw him in a shirt that said 'Mithril Maiden' on it which i assume is the like, in-universe version of Iron Maiden and it is his favorite band)
Enjoys to sew and embroider. Also made about a hundred thousand of those little woven friendship bracelets after Kristen taught him some designs.
All of his stuff is covered in stickers, patches, and pins.
Transmasc Demiboy & Bisexual
He's been gauging his ears since the 7th grade (theyre at a 12mm) and he got his septum peirced in the 8th grade. He gets a vertical labret when they're in Leviathan.
In the Thistlespring tree, way up in the branches, Gorgug has a hammok tied up and a small table built onto the tree. During summer break, he can spend full days up in the hammok listening to music and drawing or making/tinkering with something.
Replaced his shoelaces with those fancy stretchy ones so he can slip his shoes on and off easier.
Farsighted
Gorgugs sketchbook and journal are one book, so people dont often see his drawings. He doesnt carry the book around with him, in exclusively lives in the shoebox under his bed, along with a small collection of cassette tapes, condoms (his parents insisted) a lighter, some cool heart-shaped pebbles Zelda gave him, and the last of the duskmoss from the nightmare forest.
Hasnt cut his hair since 7th grade and has no intention of doing so any time soon.
The white streaks in his hair are more prominent, laced all through the front half of his hair and down through his right eyebrow.
He likes to get stoned and do yoga like, once or twice a week. It helps with mindfulness and self-grounding.
(dont tell anyone but he usually finishes his routine up with a good shower cry as a way to release that pent up anger- doing yoga helps bring those emotions to the surface in a healthy way so that he can expel them after).
Really, really likes grilled cheese and carrot sticks.
A sketch i did earlier

Off-Screen Post
The rain let up at some point in the middle of the night. It was damp and muddy outside, and Shiloh was not looking forward to marching through it, especially as a Skorupi. But they had to.
Vessel's voice echoed from behind, "Are you leaving, Shiloh."
Shiloh stopped walking, their head just barely in the sunlight. "yeah, i have to. ill visit though, dont worry."
"Where are you headed to?"
"i dont know."
"Do you have a home?"
"its complicated."
"Everything is complicated with you."
"yeah it is." There was an awkward silence for a while. After a few seconds, Shiloh broke it. "okay well bye."
Shiloh walked forward a few more steps before being interrupted again.
"You'll bring back stickers, won't you?" Vessel pleaded. For a being built on the fear of ancient kingdoms, Vessel was just lonely.
Shiloh turned around to look at the hatch that held their friend. "of course. ill bring back so many stickers. oh and ill bring you music too. my phones not getting any reception here so i cant-"
"What is a phone?"
"thats a tough one to explain so maybe another time."
"Shiloh? I hope you find your home."
Shiloh looked down at the mud in front of them. "yeah. ill try."
"What would you like in a home?"
"okay now youre just stalling for a time."
Silence hung in the air again, before Vessel's sad voice chimed in. "I am."
"look. i got a deal. you come up with twenty questions yeah? and next time i visit, ill give you the long answer to every single one."
"Yes, very well."
"okay. well bye, embodiment of calamity."
"You remembered. Goodbye, Shiloh."
Shiloh trudged through the mud. They gave a few exclamations of "ew" "gross" and especially "nasty" to no one in particular. They normally did not mind mud, but being a Skorupi, they were particularly small. Their body sank fairly deep into the mud, and they moved at a Sliggoo's pace.
Eventually, they found themself at the edge of another cliff, though this time at the top. With no Suicune to give them a ride, they turned and walked along the edge. Though not without difficulty.
"Nice work Naclstack!"
Human! Shiloh ducked into a bush. They were not afraid of people, outside of a healthy dose of social anxiety, but the only people out this far were trainers. Shiloh had no protection against trainers, they had not been registered to a Pokeball.
They stayed hidden in the bush, looking around for the trainer. The trainer was decently far away, challenging a Leafeon to a battle. Normally, Shiloh would wait it out. Let the trainer pass. But the trainer's strategy was abundantly clear. Stall.
How long could this battle take? Eons, if Shiloh had done their calculations correctly.
They looked around for anywhere they could safely book it, but they would be inevitably slowed down by the mud. As the trainer's battle raged on, it eventually quieted down as the two Pokemon quit trading intense blows and fell into a horrible waiting game.
Quiet enough that Shiloh could hear someone else, distinctly Pokemon.
"Pistachios are fairly overrated especially with almonds being...."
Shiloh turned their head to the noise. In the distance was a Flying Taxi.
"Look, I hate to say it, but your opinions on snacks are objectively wrong."
"You two always-"
"This is important Blanco."
"We do this all the time all you two do is-"
Shiloh grabbed a nearby rock in and threw it towards them with every ounce of strength their tiny bug body could muster.
The Squawkabilly all looked at the rock that landed several feet away. They seemed confused. Shiloh scrambled for another pebble, and tossed it. It landed farther away.
The green Squawkabilly shouted, "You tryin to hit us?"
Shiloh looked back at the trainer. They were totally engrossed in their stall battle. Shiloh peaked their head out of the bush, and mouthed a sorry to the birds.
The green one turned to the blue one, "What's it sayin? Couldn't make it out."
"Dunno, one moment." The blue one responded. It flew over to Shiloh, landing right in front of the bush.
"What's your problem?" The Squawkabilly hissed.
Shiloh flinched, "sorry, sorry. i just needed to get your attention and theres a trainer over there."
"Oh, so you're a wild one then?"
"i- uh- sure. youre a taxi right?"
"Sure are. Driver's not here right now, dropped a Pokeball I think, out looking for it."
Shiloh stepped forward a little, "can i- can i get a ride?"
The Squawkabilly looked back at his fellow birds, "Well, this is a first. A Pokemon asking to hitch a ride? Hey, what do we say boys? We let this fella hitch a ride?" The Squawkabilly shouted that last part, making Shiloh flinch and look towards the trainer, who thankfully didn't notice.
The Squawkabilly all looked at each other, nodding and shrugging.
The blue one looked back at Shiloh, "Alright, let's sneak ya on."
The Squawkabilly flew back to the taxi, and Shiloh nervously ran towards it. They got caught in mud, and had to trudge through. The yellow Squawkabilly sighed, "Help me out here Azul."
The yellow Squawkabilly and the blue one, Azul, both flew over to Shiloh. Without warning, they picked them up and carried them to the taxi. Azul looked back at Shiloh, "Hold on."
Underneath the seats was a box covered with a tarp. Azul grabbed the tarp, and gestured for Shiloh to crawl under the seats. They did, and Azul threw the tarp over them. "There y'ar," Azul said, "Just stay still, no one'll notice a thing."
Shiloh curled their tail around them, Azul's outline was barely visible from underneath the tarp, Shiloh could barely make anything out. "cool...." They muttered.
"Where you off to, little fella?"
"i dont-"
Someone coughed a few feet away. Azul lowered their voice to a whisper, "Well get decisive, driver's coming back."
"paldea league." Shiloh blurted without thinking.
"Think we're heading to Mesagoza, so you'll be a bit of a walk away. Ride might get bumpy. Oh, yeah, what's your name?"
"its shi-"
The driver walked over, "Are you getting into the snacks, Azul?" Azul left, flying on top of the taxi.
The driver looked under the seats, Shiloh gulped, he was looking directly at the tarp Shiloh was under.
The driver stood up and climbed onto his seat. "Nothing spilled, you were just being a rascal huh?"
The driver shouted towards the trainer, "Hey kid! You good?"
Shiloh could not see the trainer's response, but they assumed it was good, as the taxi was soon airborne.
It wasn't long before they landed in Mesagoza. The driver cleared his throat, "I'm getting lunch, you behave yourselves."
Shiloh could hear his footsteps getting farther away. Azul flew down, and lifted up the tarp. Shiloh blinked at the harsh light.
"Alright, Shy, League's up that hill y'see?" Azul gestured with his wing, "Don't know what business a wild one's got with the league, but good luck."
Shiloh nodded, they needed all the luck they could get. They stepped out of the taxi, and looked up to the four birds on top. "thanks, guys."
The Squawkabilly nodded. Blanco, the white one, replied, "No problem, little dude. We're literally a taxi, hitch a ride anytime."
Shiloh began the uphill climb towards the league. They had a pit in their stomach. It had been a few days since they were home.

Shay:
Lightly cracked screen protector and has been for months. He has a replacement at home but it’s sat on the desk for so long he can’t see it anymore. iPhone. His phone case is one of those generic colourful swirly patterns. It’s got a flip over cover. His lockscreen is his latest favourite piece of art.
His laptop has paint stains in many places when he forgot his hands were covered. It’s old but in good condition.
Backpack has everything you need - earphones, sketch pad, book, face mask, plasters, tissues, hand sanitiser, polo mints, keys, hair tie, glucose tablets, phone charger - and much you don’t - paint brushes snapped in half, tiny weeny pencils, rubbers so small they barely exist any more, empty cereal bar packets, screwdriver. He’s owned the rucksack since he was 12.
Moss:
Phone screen is cracked all over. No screen protector. His lockscreen is GAA related and his background one of his cats. His phone case is a plain colour but he’s got a sticker of a plant related pun on the back. Huawei.
His laptop is trashed - held together with sellotape. Only works when it’s plugged in and is covered in random stickers. He’s had it for years.
He comes out with a variety of rucksacks but they’re usually all Cúl Camp ones. They definitely have a name on the top in permanent marker but it’s not always his. Bag is usually quite empty - headphones, bag of life (diabetes related things), bottle of water, some type of ball.
His car is messy and usually has mud in. Well loved. Has a Galway flag flying somewhere.
Georgie
Her phone is in good condition. Samsung. The case is the same one she’s had for years. Her lockscreen is Inch the snail.
Their laptop is ancient and has a sticker Moss put there as a joke years ago and they just left it. They will be sad when it finally comes off.
She usually carries a satchel with her. It contains a couple of spiritual things and a lucky pebble, a clean face mask and a spare disposable one, hand sanitiser, handkerchief, headphones & mp3 player, a cereal bar, a couple of fidget toys and a hat.
Lynne
Phone is in perfect condition. Probably a reasonably new model and looked after. iPhone primarily for the camera. Pink sparkly phone case and her lockscreen is a (female) pop singer or character she loves at the moment. Phone background is a photo she took.
Laptop is sensible and clear of stickers. Not as new as her phone but not overly old either. Doesn’t really leave the house. Camera is treated like the Crown Jewels but the bag is filled with junk and a bit mucky.
She has a few rucksacks or big handbags she might switch between depending on the situation and her outfit. Has exactly what’s needed - phone, keys, purse, tissues, pads, pain killers, hair tie, breath mints, hand sanitiser. Spare camera battery.
Raven
If their phone gets a cracked screen (protector) they will probably deal with it reasonably quickly. Sony. Black. Has a band phone case with two or three overlapping stickers for other bands. Lockscreen is band related.
They don’t have a laptop - just share with their mum. Ash uses it for work so it’s clean and tidy.
Their rucksack is black and red. It’s probably got at least one small instrument (like a tin whistle or a harmonica) in, at least two pairs of earphones with one ear broken, a working pair, a pen but no paper, a few guitar picks, money, a half eaten bag of sweets, a stray glove and some packets of salt from Supermacs. Also something Georgie forgot she’d put in there.
i think we as a society need to use cell phones/laptops/cars/backpacks to flesh out characters
#shays screen protector situation is uh. literally mine. saw it today and did a shocked pikachu face. it is visible I just Cannot See#my own post#I saved this as a draft on October 4th and the new screen protector is now under my knitting & some empty plastic bags#raven#moss#shay#lynne#art#georgie#meta

ranking animal stickers I've received while working in child care from 1 to 10
while this one seems friendly at first glance, the way the head looks as if it was pasted over the face of the dinosaur with something that belongs to some cereal mascot for an off brand version of fruity pebbles manages to start us on a solid 3 out of 10
speaking of just pasting mascot faces on an animal to make a sticker, this one looks like it was lifted from neopets. there's more effort put into making it look like it belongs there, though, solid 5 out of 10. middling generic animal sticker for kids.
why does it have a horse's mouth? what are those teeth doing? is it angry???? what's going on with the weird cheeks? are the eyes sunken in or is the flesh around them puffing over them i mean seriously this thing makes me uncomfortable get it away from me 2 out of 10
This one looks like it could have come from a weird frozen themed picture book, and i don't know if it should lose points for disneyfication or gain points for the common style of Children's Media. also the knees are also weird like they didn't know what way they should bend. 4 out of 10.
this deer has much better legs and a much, much, MUCH worse face. they look like they snort bees. the eyes are so small and they have no soul. 3 out of 10
a friend. accurate. recognizable. sideways eyes as the gods intended. once again people do not understand legs, those back legs look..... not great. would be at place in children's "animals of" book. 7 out of 10
while you think this one may rank well because it's a cat, the Strategically Placed Tail is something I cannot unsee. did they do it to hide the butthole? 6 out of 10
there's so much positivity in this sticker, he's a friend excited for an underwater adventure with you. this guy is genuine. he spreads cheer everywhere he goes. 8 out of 10
honestly what can I even say. it's a shark riding a bicycle.
10 out of 10.
honorable mention: the soulless expression of mr donut

Got the idea from a friend to fill this out, but ill wait to post on the 31st since im starting this on the 23rd
1. First RPG bought this year: Alice is Missing. I havent gotten to play it yet, mostly bc the subject matter involved make it so i am picky about finding the right group for it, but its got a great concept and set up and being a silent game played through messaging apps, and deals with rather dark subject matter and makes sure that you are aware of how to navigate lines and veils respectfully without compromising the story.
2. Most recently Played: Fellowship, a game about being a bunch of guys trying to defeat an overlord... im playing a hedgehog... we got to do sick tricks at a sport event competition last session.
3. Most played Game: Again, Fellowship, its really the only titterpeg i have going on rn.
4. RPG with Great Art: This is a toss up between Mork Borg and Mouseguard, but for two different reasons. Mork Borg is described as a brutally realistic fantasy game, and its book art is absolutely gorgeous, designed to look like a Zine, uses black/white/yellow as its color scheme, and has beautiful typography while making sure the rules are legible. Mouseguard is beautiful for its gorgeous illustrative work by David Peterson, mixing in these cute watercolor illustrations against what is in fact a brutal backstory.
5. RPG with Great Writing: I assume this means Rules, so the rpg ive seen with the best clear cut rules in the sense that I havent had to ask a dozen clarifying questions for, would have to be Mouseguard.
6. RPG that is Easy to Use: Wanderhome. I finally got to play it at Gen-Con this year, and its just as good as i hoped. It does have playbooks, but there are no dice. Its very much a "Yes, And" type of game where you and your fellow players build the world together by going "what if we went to a lagoon..." "With and underwater graveyard?" "Yes, and perhaps there is cave nearby that has been turned into a shelter for wanderers" "and that cave is where you see the empty cocoons of the last of the monarch butterflies, sort of like a shrine" "and from that shrine is produced a fruit inside of the cocoons that tastes different to each person". It was such a good game and i would love to play it again!
7. RPG with Good Form: idk what this means but Yazeba's Bed and Breakfast had great form in the sense that it utilizes different mechanics, and that you are encouraged to play different characters every chapter bc you can change something about that character and hand it off to the next person who will add onto to the character as well and by the end you will have a character who has been changed by multiple different people.
8. An Accessory you Appreciate: when a Game comes with tchotchkes i am in love ❤️
9. An accesory you'd like to see: i actually dont know off the top of my head, ive got games that came with mini journals, coins, tokens, pebbles, dices, trinkets... i think i would like to see a game that uses that chart grades pre-k through grade 5 would use where you get a sticker for doing something. You hit for the most damage? Sticker. You successfully did a diplomacy? Sticker. You RP'd very good? Sticker.
10. An RPG you would like to see on TV: is it cheating if i say Star Trek Adventures lmaooo... I wanna say I would love to see a Call of Cthulu tv show. But it would have to be either styled like a 1980's thriller, or a 1920's psychological horror film.
11. RPGs with well supported oneshots: Monsterhearts, Mork Borg and its cyberpunk version, Babes in the Woods has a specific section for one-shots, Star Trek Adventures, The Quiet Year... imo most games can be adapted into oneshots.
12. RPGs with well supported campaigns: Star Trek Advetures has specific mechanics that only work in a long term game, such as reputation and spotlights, Monsterhearts as well because of strings. Fellowship and mouseguard i think work best as campaigns.
13. Evocative Environments: Wanderhome - You build the environments together and can come up with some beatiful and meaningful environments. Yazeba's bnb has a good background even if it really only focuses on a bed and breakfast. The Quiet Year - the environment you build together is important bc the environment can cause problems and thats a good thing.
14. Great characters: im just gonna list off my fave characters ive played bc all titterpegs can produce great characters- Tanner from Mouseguard, Echo my Wanderhome Character, Katz from Fellowship, Lyra from Lancer, and Devin from my Call of Cthulhu campaign.
15. Great Character Gear: Gun in a setting where Gun is not common is always funny. Any modern campaign where you can be like "okay so i pull out my smart phone and google it".
16. Easy to Learn: The Quiet Year, Mouseguard, most PBtA games ive played, wanderhome, and Yazeba's.
17. An engaging rpg community: Gen-Con in general has been amazing.
18. A memorable moment of play: i have so many but i still love that time i played a lowerdecks style one shot and i got the character that didnt have a lot to do, but i got the great final shot that involved my Caitian Security officer carrying an unconscious Romulan out of a DS9 holodeck, firemen style, while dragging Quark by his ear to the infirmary. This character also challenged a klingon to a homoerotic wrestling match as a distarction for others to snoop.
19. A Sensational Session: a play by post session i had with my Fellowship GM of the Consequences to Betraying the Overlord that led to my characters eventual redemption.
20. Amazing Adventure: Mouseguard was fantastic!
21. Classic Campaign: the Call of Cthulhu campaign was neat and was probably closer to a classic campaign at the time.
22. Notaable Non-Player Character: Joseph (i think that was his name, its been a few years) from my call of cthulhu campaign where he is the one who gets us all together and my first CoC character hands him a business card that says "Dr. Danny McSkully, Mortician" after helping him with his wife who was in medical need.
23. Peerless player: Ive met a lot of great players at the tables, and I cant narrow it down, especially since some of them ive met once and im terrible at remembering names, but the common denom has to be the ability to "Yes, And" in RP that i aspire to.
24. Aclaimed Advice: Just have Fun and respect the others at the table and the game will be awesome!
25. Desirable Dice: all of them
26. Superb Screen: I dont use screens often because i mostly play online, and the only ones ive used are for DnD which i do like bc they have the shortcuts for things typed out on them.
27. Marvelous Miniature: I also dont play with Miniatures too often, but i did have fun playing bloodbowl with my halflings.
28. Great Gamer Gadget: a Phone, to look up things in between turns bc sometimes i forget things...
29. Awesome App: imma be honest the only one i know off is Roll20, and i dont wanna say Roll20.
30. Person you'd like to play with: Anyone who has appeared on Clear Skies, but especially Sam and Erik, seems fun to play with and we can geek about Star Trek!
31. Game or Gamer you miss: I kinda miss playing Lancer, i only got to play a few sessions, but they were great anyways. I also miss playing Mouseguard a bit... and I want to play a Star Trek Adventures campaign, but i cant seem to find one that i can fit in my schedule or that i actually vibe with...

Muñequita!
Hi my little sweetheart! You’re 18 months old! That’s so big!!! You’re hitting all your milestones and making us all so proud. You find ways to learn and don’t let anything hold you back from what you’ve set your mind to. You stand up for yourself and that’s a trait I hope you’ll always have. You make friends everywhere you go, always so friendly and smiling at everyone. I love you with all my heart Chiquita. You’re just what our little family needed. A little tornado with lots of love, or as brother calls you, stinky butt! Hehe yes, he sniffs your butt to see if you peed or pooped.
At 18 months, you started to pretend to serve food to ñaño and Dada from the play kitchen. Peed in the potty twice and notified me when you pee and poop. Love PJ masks theme song and dance in circles when you hear it. You request for us to play it on Alexa. You also like the Baby shark song and request it in the car. You call it Doo doo. You carry around a little shark stuffy. You love all stuffies and like to cuddle them and kiss them. You hug and kiss our whole family. Love mama and always have your eye on mama. You’re a na na addict. You ask for it all day and night long. You love going out and playing in the mud with ñaño. Dogs are your favorite animal to see when we’re out. And of course you adore Titi and try to pet, kiss and hold her. You also like to mix Titi’s pebbles into her water for her.
Your favorites are water color painting, play dough, singing and dancing, reading Pete the cat and any book by Jane Cabrera. singing the ABC’s and twinkle twinkle little star, baby shark, zoom zoom zoom going to the moon, breaker beach, Jesus loves me, and pj masks. seeing airplanes fly by. Dogs. Cats. Garbage trucks. You love to eat olives, salad, strawberries, blueberries, sopita and cheese.
You also LOVE to swim and you aren’t afraid of jumping into the water.
You chase ducks at the pond, go down slides (on Mama’s lap). Climb up on tables (because you saw ñaño do it). Climb up your high chair to sit down. Puts masks on mama and dada for fun. Bubble time is fun time. Stickers are the best.
My little princesita muñequita, I can’t believe the Lord has blessed us with you.
God bless you always and forever amorcito. Remember, you were made for such a time as this. The world will never provide the happiness you need, only Jesus can. Keep his word hidden in your heart and meditate on it day and night. Call upon the Lord with your struggles, questions or even frustrations. He is there, the Holy Spirit is with you. Trust in Him and listen for his still small voice. Use your boldness and strength to continuously stand up for TRUTH. Not the false truth that this world teaches, but God’s truth! Keep your brother in your prayers, just as I’ve asked him to pray for you. Help each other back up if either of you stumble or fall, encourage each other with the truth of the Lord. Surround yourself with believers and ask them to hold you accountable with any of your struggles.
And don’t forget, your mama and dada are always rooting for you, whether we’re near or far.
I love you.
