An early birthday gift from the spouse: my first Smart Doll (Live and Let Live Alternate, pear body.)

She got here to Texas exactly 72 hours after I submitted the order to the company in Japan.

I know “Smart Doll” is just a name, but she’s holding my wallet and my keys, which are the most important parts of the errand we need to run, so that seems pretty smart to me!

Brooooo, rant time but why is it so hard to be a female in society?

My friend made a comment a few days ago about how she's watching her weight and now it's all I can think about too. Adding that my new medicine makes me feel hungry constantly and that in one of my classes I watched a Ted talk from a model on beauty standards, it's fair to say that it's been on my mind a lot.

I think everyone is gorgeous. I don't think someone can be ugly. It's just health and confidence. Of course, there are some aspects that I'm personally more attracted to, but that doesn't make them less beautiful.

But I've always hated my body shape. I'm a pear and have really thick thighs and a big butt and I just hate it. I hate how I look in the mirrors, I hate how I can't look at my face, I hate how my skin itches all over, and I really, truly hate that I'm thinking about this so much.

I know I should love myself. I know that I should be grateful all my limbs are functioning and I don't have very many health concerns to worry about. But I'm not. And that's what I hate.

My mom said yesterday that I have all the bad family traits and sometimes it feels like it's true. My legs get red splotches when I'm outside in the sun, I can't figure out a decent way to style my hair when it's short, my face is too chunky, and I have the stupid ugly pear shape body with too thick thighs.

And I don't want anybody out there to think I'm talking about them because I'm not. I'm really not. You're all so beautiful and incredible and gorgeous. Your smile lights up the whole room and I don't have to even meet you to know that you make the world a better place just by existing.

I just can't say those same things about myself.

When I was younger I hated the color pink because I didn't want to be seen as a 'girly-girl'. I was told that being a girl is bad. And it might have been a bit to do with my transness, but I would always proudly declare that I was a 'tom-boy'.

It's unfair that little girls can't be themselves. It's unfair that clothing never fits anyone right and that we still don't have pockets in jeans. It's unfair that women are constantly criticized for anything under the sun.

But you know what? I'm not ashamed of my body. Even if it makes me want to claw off my own skin sometimes, I love it. And maybe, if I dare to even hope, one day I'll be able to look in a mirror and smile because I am beautiful.

ive been keeping an eye out for fat dolls for years but they still are so rare to come by, especially when youre not looking for hourglass bodies / any body with a skinnier waist/top part.

can ppl pls reblog/reply with any fat dolls you know of? it literally doesnt matter what kind of doll.

pear smartdoll (i love this one for the folds!! this doll makes me happy and i wish i could afford one, and i also hope they push it further and make a fatter one + a fat boy body too)

curvy barbie and MH (theyre not rly fat tho... theyre fine but im looking for more prominent stomach and less hourglass)

ive seen some fat bjd but often they have the same hourglass shapes or small waist-and-up parts like the fashion dolls. my current favourite ive found is this one by logan.dolls.

I am of the particular physicality known as "pear-shaped". For those unaware, it simply means that, proportionally speaking, my hips are wide and my chest is not. Often times I end up looking in the mirror and feeling insecure, for one reason or another.
