Actually, a character of Jose Luís López Vásquez (Señorita Adela whom viewers meet in the beginning) & Julieta Serrano's maid Isabelita are almost like characters of this song. I (who compares herself to Ophelia) is Adela, and he is Isabelita. But (the film) it's not so easy in terms of gender &what happened after the song's end. (No spoilers for those who hasn't watched.)

peanut is so devastated by jacks injury she wants to go over to his apartment all the time to take care of him

mama and peanut had joined quinn and the canucks to watch them play in san jose. they were going to spend all of friday in san jose, and then fly to vancouver on saturday to watch the game against the stars. but on friday, while watching the devs, they saw jack's injury and peanut started crying a lot. mama was about to cry too, but the only reason she didn't was bcz she was trying to calm peanut.

"what's wrong with jacky? why won't he get up, mama? is he okay? i want jacky!"

mama called one of the devs trainers and talked with them, while packing her and peanut's bags and booking a flight back to jersey. they got to the airport the next morning, and mama spent a lot of time on the phone with jack and luke, just trying to calm luke down, and trying to calm herself while talking with jack. they arrived, and mama got a cab back to jack and luke's apartment (peanut refused to sleep until she saw jack). when they got to the apartment, jack had just returned from st louis, and he was so tired. p started crying again when she saw him, and jack held her and promised her he was okay and nothing was wrong. peanut fell asleep with jack that night, and mama was so scared to leave him, she just stayed there that night.

for a while, mama and peanut are staying with jack bcz mama's terrified and needs to see him in front of her, and jack is not great at living on his own (according to mama's standards). but once they go back to their own apartment, p's always asking to go back and see jack and make sure he's okay. mama never says no bcz she also wants to make sure he's okay.

One question. What do you think Disney from America controls European Disney and must be their canon, what's the matter? Is there something they don't like?

Hi and sorry for not answering this question earlier. You have asked a good question, but I am not sure how to answer it through a long essay or through short explanations, although I will answer it this way.

After all, Disney was created in America by Walt Disney and originally they created all the important characters we know, European writers and artists used them in their comics only later, after the Second World War. Back then, there wasn't so much censorship and writers were free to do whatever they wanted without ruining the originality. And so for several decades until the last decade. Romano Scarpa and Guido Martina created separate comics in their own ways, different from Carl Barks and Al Taliaferro and you have an Italian vision through Topolino comics. You also have Dutch, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish writers and artists who, relying on Carl Barks and the American Disney, made comics in their own way and thus created a separate kind of Donald Duck comics. Yes, you also have Brazilian comics who have written a lot of comics especially about Jose Carioca ever since the movie Saludos Amigos from 1942 was shown. And they created those comics in their own way, which is quite different from American comics. Unlike Latin American and European comics, American comics after the 1940s era clearly separated Mickey and Donald so that they neither see each other nor know each other except at times, since they live in different cities, such as Mousetown and Duckburg. American comics, not counting Archie comics, Peanuts, Garfield, and superhero comics, declined after the 1980s because television took precedence, so many watched television, either series, movies, or cartoons instead of reading comics. So Disney comics also experienced a market decline during that period and then you have the making of the OG Ducktales in 1987 which was made mostly by Disney's animation studio in Tokyo, Japan. And since then, the American Disney has not relied on comics, although since the time of Walt Disney, the differences between the canon in cartoons and in comics have been clearly made.

From what I've talked to others, Walt Disney was also unhappy with the popularity of Scrooge McDuck that Carl Barks created, because a different Christmas comic should have been created. However, the American Disney has clearly indicated that the canon in cartoons is the only official canon, while the comic book is not, except in some exceptions, but that's why they force their other productions where they have ownership to obey and respect the given canon that Disney requires. I think since the golden age of cartoons, the story started about how the official Disney can't really stand their comics, even though the comics took Mickey, Donald and other characters to a high level. Many of the characters we know came from comic books rather than cartoons. I'm not saying this for nothing, since your question just stated that since everything is under the Disney name, although they deviated from the path set by Walt Disney, they still determine the main editorial policy for many comics published in Europe and Latin America. Yes, before, as I mentioned, the authors made independently in their own way, but so that Disney didn't even know, but with the arrival of the Internet, that changed and a kind of censorship had to be done. Sometimes due to public pressure, sometimes due to wrong decisions, although I don't like to talk about politics here, but I think that lately politics has had a lot of influence on it, although I will tell you that politics had a lot of influence during the Second World War as well. Propaganda cartoons are very much the case. But in order not to deviate from the topic, I will tell you a couple of examples where American Disney had a lot of influence on European comics and how the writers still had to respect Disney's canon.

Donald Duck had several girlfriends in addition to Daisy and that the earlier Donald Duck fandom preferred Donald with other people rather than Daisy because Daisy was a bitch who treated Donald horribly, although that's not Daisy's fault as much as the writers who over Daisy mocked feminism. Yes, I love when Donald and Daisy fight over stupid things, but not that Donald constantly suffers from Daisy's impossible wishes that never come true and then kicks Donald like that for her displeasure. Disappointed, Donald finds other people who will suit him better. One of the most common examples with whom Donald is on excellent terms is Reginella, the queen of the planet Pacificus, and she appeared for the first time in the comic "Paperino e l'avventura sottomarina" or Donald and the underwater adventures from 1972 by the writer Rodolfo Cimino and the artist Giorgio Cavazzano when Donald first meets Reginella. Reginella became Donald's new hope and their couple was really great in my opinion and so in several comics. Yes, I love the Donald and Daisy romance, but Reginella with Donald is very special to me and I understand why others prefer it over Donald and Daisy.

However, since Disney found out what other comics were doing unofficially, Disney imposed an unwritten rule that their canon must be respected, so Donald must be with Daisy and no one else. So the last comic with Reginella from August 2021 called "L'ultima avventura di Reginella" or The Last Adventure with Reginella by authors Alex Bertani and Vito Stabile and artist Stefano Zanchi is about the breakup between Donald and Reginella because supposedly Scrooge can't more to finance Donald's trip to another planet, and Donald also admitted to Reginella that Daisy is his first and only love. Yes, Daisy has improved a lot in the last comics and treats Donald differently, but again it was really pathetic that something like that had to be done instead of making some kind of deal to make a clone of Donald and stay with Reginella or something like that. It just tells you that official Disney made the decision that way. However, Reginella appears in two more comics after that and has one comic with Daisy, but I haven't read that comic so I can't tell you exactly. Those who are and who know it, would tell you. Although I would like to see Daisy and Reginella together.

Of course the love relationship between Donald and Reginella is not the only one, but I put it as the most common example that Donald is not only with Daisy as the only "canon" girlfriend. You also have romantic relationships Donald with Lyla Lay (Paperinik New Adventures), Xadhoom (Paperinik New Adventures), Kay K (Double Duck), and others. However, in the comic Double Duck "Agent Zero" Kay K admits to Daisy that Donald's greatest love is Daisy and that they are still friends and Daisy was ashamed of that because before she was very jealous that Donald was with someone else and not Daisy. And there you can see that even though Donald is with someone else, he still stays with Daisy, but it is by no means a breakup under Disney's directive as it was done with Reginella.

2. Canceled characters due to certain things

Dutch comics mostly until 2019 and 2020 drew characters from Song of the South such as Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and Brer Bear and they even had separate comics and were often represented together with Mickey, Donald and friends because they were anthropomorphic characters that also represented classic Disney. Of course, because of the problems in America related to the African-American population, Disney had to stop it and exclude the given characters because they represented caricatures of the African-American population from the South of the 19th century. The South, I mean the South of the USA, where there used to be a Confederacy that seceded and where the Civil War was fought from 1861 to 1865. Of course, they could have just stated that it was a product of its time and that the value system back then was not the same as today's, but no, Disney banned Song of The South and cut those characters out, and those characters never appeared again, in those Dutch comics. Yes, I certainly condemn racism, but one must know that it should be censored in a different way, that is, to send a warning. Warner Bros. did a good job with Looney Tunes where they just said it was a product of its time and we don't make it anymore. In this way, you respect the old materials, and you also respect other people of other races. That is, everyone is satisfied. However, in the Dutch comics, Brer Rabbit is presented differently, after all, Disney takes the lead and they are not interested in excuses.

Not to mention the censoring of two Don Rosa comics because of Bombie the Zombie. Instead of giving a warning that it was the product of a man who created under the influence of Barks and that Disney had nothing to do with it, they simply banned it as if they were ashamed of the past. And you know who is ashamed of the past and simply forgets it, is condemned to repeat it, but worse. But I would not talk about that, because it is too difficult a topic.

3. There are no dark scenes in Disney comics like before

There are no more dark scenes like gun chases, dark and dangerous scenes as well as related to the depiction of women and ladies in a realistic view, because it is certainly not for children according to Disney, even though those comics are also read by adults, nor should there be anything dark related to Mickey and friends, and you have the Mickey Mystery comics where exactly such scenes appear. Mostly done for security reasons. However, due to Disney's recent policy and knowing what the authors of European comics are doing, they had to take a different approach. It is no longer the 1990s where you could have scary scenes like in PKNA and where you would feel sorry for Donald as if you were watching some dark blockbuster movie, yet the American Disney which supposedly has its main rules and its main say to decide what can be done in comics and what not not. And they deny comic book material, which is really ironic. Although I'm more frustrated about these things that Disney is doing lately, I still partially understand the need for censorship, but not to ban certain characters (especially Hiawatha), but you can't show racist caricatures like before, but it certainly doesn't mean that you should ban them to give the content to be displayed and read, because this negates the past, which is a great danger for future generations. Of course, European comic artists and writers approach these problems differently and write differently, but they certainly have the free right to draw and work, but they must adhere to the main canons that Disney sets. One of the reasons why you don't even get to see Donald's parents alive or the father of Donald's nephews appear and if he even exists.

There is a lot to say, but I think this is enough. I also apologize if I offended anyone with some of my comments, as it is not necessarily aimed at anyone except for certain stupid Disney decisions. I may have been vague, so I ask especially those who know Disney comics to correct me if I made any mistakes and feel free to add what you want to say. I hope these answers will help you enough to know why there are no more dangerous scenes in Disney comics like before. Granada - day 2

Happy St George day, the day in Spain for giving books and roses. I have to admit we had completely forgotten but we got a lovely message from Marjolein this morning.

Before I launch into our day I should preface by saying this is about our 5th time in Granada. It is a city we love and are quite familiar with so we’re not doing the tourist must dos. However if you’re ever in this part of Spain I would highly recommend a visit.

We indulged Jose with another churros breakfast, well we’re on holiday. A bit later we headed out for a very welcome massage. Jose found a Thai massage place that had great reviews. It was a lovely mix of relaxing, stretching and remedial massage - perfect. When we walked out I was almost walking normally.

We then headed to a cafe I had spied on the way that did gluten free cakes. We both indulged in a slice of cheesecake with a peanut butter and chocolate topping (not Nigella but still very nice).

After that we went for a bit of a walk, did a bit of shopping and then found somewhere for lunch. Lunch was delicious- it’s a good thing we head back to L’Escala tomorrow, at this rate I’ll have regained the weight I lost on the Camino.

After lunch we headed back to our apartment for a shower to wash off the massage oil and a bit of a chill before heading out again for our last wander and drink in Granada. We’ve had some great vermut while we’ve been here.

Back to the apartment to pack and then chill with nibbles and a bottle of wine in front of the tv. It won’t be a late night as we have an early start in the morning. The holiday is definitely coming to a close 🥲

- monalisa new student at school and it's so weird she is virtually unsearchable and it makes him insane. no pictures of her online, and the only ones that do exist she doesn't even look at the camera or they're blurry. she has an instagram @monalikethepainting

- she moved from northern california! she's in a band! she plays electric guitar! she's artistic! she paints, writes, draws, sings, dances, yearbook! she's like all the muses in one!!

- simon knows she's coming and looks!! and digs anything he can about her but he's mad. he can't find anything!! only school journals about a band with her in it named hopeless romantics and it's so annoying he complains to janae and janae is like leave her alone she's good and simon is like no she has to be shitty everyone is. also what kind of name is monalisa like she's a fucking painting

- but he meets her and they have lunch together because he wants to know clues to look for her but she's so. nice and offers her lunch and they talk about having a peanut allergy "is that peanut butter? thanks but i'm okay" "it's not. i actually have a billion allergies" "oh okay. weird you'd offer me your lunch" . also okay maybe she is a painting. whatever. shut up

- either she knows absolutely nothing or she hears things and is like oh well. i don't know i've known you for like five minutes i think you're okay i guess . i do hear you're an asshole though but i don't think so

- they have journalism together and they talk sometimes. it's sickening now nice she is but it's such a genuine change of pace to have someone so disconnected from the 'typical high school experience' of being online

- but simon is horribly depressed and has been. janae knows this and also thinks it's annoying how bright and sunshiney mona is but simon was somehow less insufferable after journalism sometimes. and janae feels like she has been talking him off the edge for years

- mona invites him to poetry reads or to hang out at her house and usually no one is home because they work. they watch movies or she teaches him to play music or they write. she absolutely insists she isn't in love with him but she is. her sister is a senior and her boyfriend also hates simon (threatens to kick in his teeth regularly) (her sister's name is ginerva. monalisas full name is monalisa demoiselle hughes. humiliating)

- she is his biggest cheerleader and hates that she makes him think. (abouthat route) asking him why he does it and why it matters so much because high school is so small and trivial but he hasn't known anything else. he was never popular but when he wrote people hated him. and he's been so mentally unwell. and then there's her. but he can't fathom the idea of admitting it out loud

- he abandons abouthat partially mostly because his time is. occupied with her and he isn't around other people (in the route he does keep it or do it)

- people bug him about not writing anymore and he says he's busy. he picks up guitar and sings with her and their little band is just the romantics. he says because he doesn't feel hopeless with her. they're just """"good friends""""" . she tells him she felt the same way at a point where he wanted to die like he did. it makes them both really unwell and. it makes him mostly unwell because living past high school feels surreal and now its summer.

- summer to san franciso. mona apologizes in advance because its gross but they go to san jose and santa cruz and meet her other bandmates. weird. he feels out of place but in the right place at the same time. everything feels right!!!???

- simon and mona senior year. homecoming. janae clowns on simon because they match. janae warms up to mona but only because they're polar opposites. she never wears darker colors but they wear dark green and people are like god who is this guy. is this not the same guy that leaked the post about everyone cheating on each other or started fights . homecoming just as friends. it's getting harder now.

- simon mona talent show with their little band. simon mona spending more and more time at each others houses. mona's sister's boyfriend no longer wants to kick his teeth in (most of the time). they're so grossly comfortable with each other it's second nature to follow each other home but more often than not they're at her house because his house feels cold and unwelcoming . he sleeps on their couch because her sister would blow up a building if they shared a bed

- janae is like dude. are you okay and he's like no oh my god i have not felt love or compassion from anyone except you and you're gay. this girl is ruining my life and i can't make it stop because she makes me wanna throw up and delete social media and never touch it again and lay in the sun and think of nothing else and i can't imagine killing myself now because i don't know how i can think of leaving her and our little band and heaven knows i'm miserable now because she's all i can think of

- he leaves because he's like dude fuck this is too close. graduation is soon. we have exams and i cannot admit to her i like her. she wakes up really sad because she can't admit to him because it'll ruin their friendship. things are weird. janae is like why are you being emo again dude what the fuck

"Eggs-celent" Easter Entertainment

And Easter fic for you all! This is basically the sequel to the birthday fic that @kayssweetdreams made for me.

"You have to admit, Aria, my cousin sure knows how to throw a party for every occasion," NiGHTS said. The Protector of Nightopia munched on some milk chocolate that they got from the snack stand. Today was Easter, the one spring holiday where people received goodies from 'The Easter Bunny'.

"He sure does," Aria replied, sipping on some fruit punch. She was now wearing the new outfit that Mei had gifted her back on her birthday as well as the necklace that Iben had given her. "So how has everything been back in the Night Dimension? You know, after the incident that happened on my birthday?" She let slip a giggle after remembering Reala's silly act.

"Aside from Reala being completely embarrassed with what he did while drunk after becoming sober? Things are pretty chill." NiGHTS said, letting out a laugh. "Though, I haven't seen Reala or Wizeman recently. And yes, Wizeman is still acting like a kind dad. That being said, Owl had a good laugh upon hearing that Reala got drunk."

"I can see why." Aria watched as everyone was having the time of their lives. Balan and Lance created a magic show for the Phil, Yuri, Emma, Leo, and Cass. Lucy and Cal were by the stand where the champagne was, talking with each other. Fiona and Haoyu dined on the delicious food together.

Sana, Eis, Trisha Jane, Debbie, and Rebecca danced to the music that played in the background. Iben and her husband were with the children as Lila giggled at the performance. Bruce and Jose were serving food to Attilio and Kaylo.

Despite how happy everything was, Aria couldn't help but secretly wonder: what was Reala up to this time?

(Meanwhile, back in the Night Dimension)

Reala gazed through the small window of his domain, watching Aria celebrate Easter with his traitorous sibling. Truth be told, he never understood these strange human holidays or why Visitors felt the need to celebrate them.

Reala grimaced from the memory on what had happened the last time that he had visited Aria on her birthday. Knowing NiGHTS, they would never let him live it down. And Jackle had gotten an earful after Reala discovered what kind of apples he had actually eaten. Being scolded by an angered Reala was…not a pleasant experience.

On the plus side, two good things did happen while he was drunk. He not only became the life of the party by amusing others, but Aria gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Up until he met Aria, Reala had never fallen in love before. And for the majority of his life, he had experienced betrayal. But when he saw Aria, there came this feeling in his gut that let him know that she was "the one". The one person who would never backstab him.

With a small bag of chocolate and peanut butter cups, Reala took a deep breath and decided to sneak into the Awakening Dimension. Maybe, once he and Aria were alone, he'll not only give these candies to her, but he'll actually be able to confess to her…without getting drunk this time. However, he was unaware that he was being followed by a certain grinning Second-level Nightmaren.

But…life sure had a sense of humor… As well as funny ways of bringing people together…

(Meanwhile, back in Wonderworld)

"Say, brother, want to have a glass?" Balan asked Lance. "That way, we can celebrate Easter with chocolate, champagne, and with a touch of class."

"If you insist," Lance said with a nod. "When it comes to champagne, you know that I cannot resist." He walked over to where the champagne sat and poured two glasses, one for Balan and one for himself. Then, he went back to where he and Balan were.

Hidden in the corner, away from everyone's view, Reala clutched onto the candy while he eyed Aria who now was chatting with Iben about what had been happening in their lives as well as any gossip they've heard.

Reala, for the first time in his life after he started his harsh training, felt nervous. Genuinely nervous. When it came to Wizeman, before the hiccups occured, he was always taught to mask every emotion. But this time?

…He couldn't do it.

"I need something to calm me down," Reala muttered to himself. His eyes suddenly landed on the champagne. He swore that he wouldn't try to confess to Aria while drunk again. However, as of right now, he was desperate to tell her without showing he was nervous. Hmmm… He thought in curiosity. Maybe one drink wouldn't hurt…

Reala poured a glass of champagne discreetly. Then he took a sip. "Delicious, but not enough…" He said to himself. And Reala decided to have more champagne…until he had drank nearly half of the bottle.

NiGHTS decided to help Balan and Lance amuse the children. Since they were a pro at causing light-hearted mischief, NiGHTS was able to make the children laugh without any effort.

"NiGHTS is so silly," Cass said with a chuckle.

But before NiGHTS could perform another silly trick, Debbie came running towards everyone with a panicked look on her face. "Guys, please don't freak out," She said. "But… Reala is here. I saw him earlier."

NiGHTS and everyone else turned to Debbie. Shocked looks spread across their faces. "What is Reala doing here this time?" Mei asked.

"Usually when it comes to Reala, things don't end well," Kaylo said with a frown. Suddenly, everyone turned to the sound of someone…hiccuping. Lo and behold, that someone was none other than Reala. He was giggling at everything while stumbling around.

"Reala, what are you doing here?" Aria asked. Though, NiGHTS shielded her from Reala in case their evil sibling tried something funny.

Reala noticed Aria and smiled. "Vis'tor, hiiii!" He slurred. "H-Hey, since when didja get four heads? I wanna kiss them~" He collasped onto the ground and let out a giddy giggle. Aria blushed deeply, holding back a laugh.

"What the…?" NiGHTS was taken aback. "Did Reala get into the Happy Hour Apples again?" At this point, everyone gathered around to see the tipsy Nightmaren General.

"Certainly not," Lance replied, showing NiGHTS the nearly half-filled bottle of champagne. "Of this, he must have had more than one shot."

"Reala drank a lot of champagne?" Attilio asked, surprisingly amused at this. "How drunk is he?"

"Only one way to find out," Leo said. "Reala, what level are the Second-level Nightmarens?"

Reala hiccuped. "That's a tough ques'ion, Lucas. I would say they're Fifth or Sixth levels…" At this, NiGHTS bursted out laughing at Reala's drunk response. He turned and saw Emma before pointing at her. "I-I remem'er ya… Y-Ya called Mister Wizey a opposum."

"Uh, how many shots of champagne did you drink, Reala?" Emma asked, rather amused. She let out a laugh.

"A baby and a halfa dozen babies," Reala said, letting out another giggle. "I gotta get to Wonderland… My boo is there~"

"Don't you mean Wonderworld?" Trisha Jane asked, trying to hold back her laughter. "And who is your boo?"

Reala looked at Aria again. "Y-Ya know, Aria, since ev'ryone's here, let's get married," He slurred to her. Then, he let out another giggle and hiccups. This caused Aria to get flustered. Reala fell to the ground again. "This is funny. I'm sooooo drinky?"

"What an interesting surprise," Balan said while holding back his laughter. "Reala is drunk again in front of our very eyes."

Reala shot up with a giddy expression. "I shall sing a song to my guuuurrrl!" He said, pointing to Aria before grabbing a "microphone", which was actually a broom and began to sing a…very silly song to the group:

"Talkin' 'bout the pretty lady!

She's a lady with the finest hair!

And her eyes are like the roses! (Red roses)

Wooo!"

The group laughed out loud at Reala's performance. Aria chuckled, crossing her arms as she watched Reala sing. Even when drunk, she had to admit that he was a fairly good singer. The Nightmaren General winked at her before he tossed the bag of chocolate and peanut butter cups to Aria and continued to sing:

"She's sweet like a candy!

She's an angel with a heavenly voice!

And she wears the finest outfits! (So fine)

Wooo!"

"NiGHTS, you never told me that your sibling can be silly," Yuri said to the purple Nightmaren, stifling a giggle.

"Oh, he's full of surprises, let me tell you." NiGHTS giggled and watched Reala sing some more:

"She's my other better half!

The brightest gem I've ever had!

Oh, won't you please, my pretty lady?

Won't you please be my sweetheart?

Wooo!"

Reala then attempted to do a stage dive…only to fall flat on his face. Balan, Lance, and everyone laughed and cheered at the performance. Aria smiled and slipped a small note in his vest while he was still on the ground. On that note was written this message for Reala:

Want to meet up in my dream tonight? —Your sweetheart, Aria.

In the background, Jackle giggled as he held onto a video camera. "I can't wait to see the look on Reala's face when he learns that I caught this on video," He said with a chesire grin.
