a really underrated feature of bg3 i don't see enough people talk about is that it's the only game i've ever played that lets you fully play a gender-fluid character.
as long as you're playing custom character or durge, rather than one of the pre-made origin characters who have their own gender identity independant of the player's preferences, then at any point after the tutorial, you can use the magic mirror in your camp to change your appearance, or your gender identity. (and these are completely sepperate options, i'm obsessed with the fact that identity, overall body shape, voice, and genitals are 4 sepperate options which can be mixed and matched)
changing your gender identity doesn't change anything except how characters adress you, the game never gender-locks anything, which means you can just change it at any point, and your adventure continues on as normal except all the npcs and companions will address you according to your newly chosen gender. also there are 3 gender options, male female or non-binary, and the enby-ness is handled really well. the couple of moments i thought felt a bit odd, i've since played with other genders, and discovered no, it's not the writers being odd, it's a deliberate characterisation choice. Volo calls everyone 'my good fellow' regardless of gender. he's not being transphobic, he's just Like That (TM).
i've played games that let me be enby before, and i've played games that sepperated out appearance and identity, but never one where you could just decide at any point you want to be adressed differently without needing to roll up a new character, and I love it so much.
#bg3#genderfluid#i'm not genderfluid#but after completing the game as a character who alligns with my own identity#i've now rolled up a genderfluid bard#and i'm endlessly delighted by being able to wake up and go 'yeah i think tav's a woman today' and just have the game acknoledge that#peak rp options#for all the character creator's limitations#where it does offer options those options are generally excellent

I’ve seen many people reblog a post which contains tweets that, in my eyes, amount to a single complaint that is only half true (but that I agree with for the most part). But anyway, here’s a longpost:
(tweet in question)
I think it’s mostly wrong to say FPS multiplayer “peaked” ("was most fun for the playerbase"?) with Source games in the way presented. Believe it or not, you can still join a server with 30 people playing on a user map with fucked up assets everywhere, and some of the 30 people playing will be 14-year-olds with bad mics getting mad at being spawn killed by someone with 20,000 hours in the game. In fact, there are servers like this in most Source games, including Garry’s Mod, TF2, and CSS and CSGO (but honestly I think TF2 is most representative of the above scenario). I just launched Valve’s community server browser and have found an unending list of silly-sounding servers for TF2: Minecraft trade, Murder at the Mannor, Zombie Escape, Medieval Mode, all full or near-full. I checked Garry’s Mod: SCP-RP, Zombie Survival, Clone Wars Roleplay, “Swamp Cinema”, 1980’s Mafia Roleplay, DarkRP (x20), again, all well-populated. Admittedly CS2 was mostly deathmatch servers (due to it being Source 2 and not Source and so missing a lot of plugins that would allow for “fun” servers), but CSS still had surf, bhop, minigames, and jailbreak servers still going and full. My server browser won’t show CSGO for whatever reason, but up until CS2 released I know for a fact that these silly ass servers still exist there too. The implication that these servers and their conditions are gone is wrong. You don’t want a server with the exact same conditions though, I think you want to relive the specific memories you’re having and feel happiness again. But maybe I’m going too far there.
How about this. I’ll give it to you, Dusk developer, that for you FPS multiplayer peaked with insane TF2 trade servers, but you also make boomer shooters for a living, so I think you’re biased towards enjoying an older generation of games anyway. Modern FPS games are fantastic and in their own ways contain a lot of fun. Modern games in general fill the spaces that, for you, TF2 servers filled. Have you seen Roblox minigames and Minecraft server plugins? They’re actually crazy and decently well made. I’m excited that kids have grown up in such a good environment for games. They have tons of options that we didn’t have back then. It’s awesome! Like, don’t let your nostalgia blind you to the fact that kids are having just as much fun as you now. TF2 and Garry’s Mod are not the be-all, end-all of FPS multiplayer fun. That sentiment I completely disagree with and think people should get over.
But like, how the hell does competitive gaming play into this? I truly don’t buy the wording of “Esports and competitive ranking ruined multiplayer”. It’s just not true. Not only are the servers you’re mourning still exist, they’re still well-populated and their “golden age” coincided with some of the greatest heights in competitive FPS gaming. You know what’s funny? When CSGO released in 2012, TF2 saw a drop of almost 10,000 average players. It recovered basically the next year. Besides a small dip in 2018, TF2 had held around 50,000 average players since its release, until 2019 where its average player-count has risen to about 80,000 players. Garry’s Mod wouldn’t peak in total concurrent players until 2015 and has had a dedicated core of players averaging around 25,000 since like 2013. Seriously, these are incredibly consistent player-counts throughout the release of Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, Apex, and Valorant. In fact, contrary to the tweeter's implicit assumptions, it seems like nothing much has changed, and that competitive gaming did not, at all, ruin or depopulate these “fun” spaces.
So, again, how does competitive gaming and esports play into this? Only thing I think is valid is the fact that a few popular modern FPSes don’t do the whole “community-hosted server” thing: Apex, Fortnite, PUBG, Valorant, and Overwatch all do not have native community-hosted server support. Which, to be frank, is bad for their competitive gaming scene too! Esports has ALWAYS used self-hosted servers for practicing to get better. I don’t know the argument for not having these sorts of things, maybe not developing the toolkit for these things is easier than developing them. IDK. But I agree that it is bad that many popular games don’t support this sort of thing. The “self-hosted netizen” is a category of person that’s been declining for a long time regardless of the effect of competitive first-person shooter games on the casual first-person shooter games self-hosted server market. But again, for the topic of the post, I think this is a completely nonsensical implication. As far as I can tell ALL Valve-made Source engine games have active and popular community servers still, and the popular games ALL have very populated servers with “fun” gamemodes and atmospheres. Competitive has grown very popular, yes. It's true. It's fun to compete, everyone knows it. But esports has taken very little if anything away from the casual playerbase of Source games.
(Also, for the record, during the actual multiplayer FPS golden age of the time, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 shooters, there were no self-hosted servers for us, and it was still the most fun anyone ever had playing casually on console. It was the age of trickshotting and montages, man! For the intent of this post that exact restriction counts as “keeping players from interacting with one another” yet these games, especially COD, were, uh… infamously social. Not to mention these games had competitive scenes alongside the casual scene perfectly fine.)
I think, really, ignoring the actual content of the tweet, these tweets are just about nostalgia for your childhood. Which is fine! You can miss things you used to do for fun and no longer do. Probably every human that’s ever existed has gone through this. I mean, again, it is kind of popular in current culture to be nostalgic. The 90s aesthetic, early 2000s media, retro games, super hero movies, cartoons being consumed by adults to a greater degree than ever, et cetera. I think to some extent the complaint itself isn’t like, a completely unclouded judgement of the Decline of The Beauty of Multiplayer Gaming throughout the years. The concrete complaints in those tweets seem both a little rose-tinted and unnecessarily doomerpilled to me. But like, regardless, it’s kind of your fault for not returning to these things, man. Go join one of those servers if you’re not busy being an adult with a job and friends and other obligations that may keep you from doing things that you’re not used to and have fun like you did in childhood. Or is that what's actually the problem…? I don’t know. A suggestion. I just think in the end the complaint isn't valid.
This post is long and I had a LOT of thoughts that I may have missed or chopped off at the incorrect time. I think the picture I'm trying to build has probably been communicated, though? Maybe I’m not considering something, maybe I overinterpreted implications, maybe the fact that the playerbase of TF2 and Garry's Mod being highly consistent for ten years or whatever is not indicative of anything I've said, but I hope regardless you understand that like, at least part of this tweet is weird to say in the ways I've attempted to untease. People young and old are still having crazy times in video games and esports has done, as far as I can tell, absolutely nothing to change at, ever.
Turning off reblogs because I have a feeling anyone who doesn't follow me might become annoying about this

ヾノ゙✧*。Flayer and Depression💥⚠️
OC infodump!
Flayer as a characrer is heavily based on me- I mean thats a given tho because the only reason he came about as a character is because I started an RP on my main account and I wanted to seperate the two- and so I created Flayer, AKA The Bizzybomba (based on one time he spontaneously combusted) or Mini-bizzy as dubbed by Inspekta! The only actual human bizzyboy and that's kinda all that makes him special-
As a character Flayer is pretty interesting I like to think- and because he came abouts from me just wanting to make a character that wasn't me but still me that means he has a lot of issues- issues that I struggle with!! And thus, the namesake of this post, Flayer and Depression! He's struggled with depression and self worth from a very young age, starting around when he was in 6th grade and peaking in highschool! Well, peaking as much as a lack of self worth and chronic depression can anyways- whatever whatever! What I'm getting at is Flayer is a characrer who's struggled with mental health from a very young age- given hes around 18-26 now and he's been struggling since 6th grade so, since he was around 11! That's a VERY long time-
Over the years Flayers gone through multiple phases of getting worse and getting better then getting worse again, it's a very tedious sycle- and with that over the years he's gone through multiple different types of medication ranging from literally worthless to actually working- but at the end of the day it doesn't do much for him
The timeline isn't the most clear given he doesn't have a set age but at some point, prolly around when he was 18 or 19 he became a Bizzyboy!! And his lore very heavily relies on the fact that Inspekta is on tumblr- that's how he met Inspekta and that's why he created Paperspekta, a semi-sentiant paper pal of Inspekta that craves blood- Flayer does his best to take care of the little critter but it's a bit difficult to keep up with its TASTE FOR HUMAN FLESH and it's tendancy to bite him really hard-
Flayer, like the idiot he is opted to just... Killing people to sustain Paperspekta at some point before it got to his head and he had a horrible mental crash because of the guilt- thats where he is in his life now! At that lowest of low points, thus why (if you've been looking at his interactions) he's been a bit more... Sad- specifically with Inspekta!
Once he gets out of his mental crash one of two things will happen, 1 he'll stay human and continue on with being the only human Bizzyboy- but instead of killing people for Paperspekta he just pulls a capochin and let's the critter bite him, or 2 he'll die and become an actual bizzyboy with the power of his autism swag!! Or the secret 3rd option... But I can't tell you that because it's a secret!! But anyways yeah! As it stands now that's his lore n stuff! If your interested in interacting with the character his blog is @bizzybomba !! :D

If i do end up making one it will be after i make his character design sheet!! his uniform is KILLING ME. he doesn’t have a name yet but i have a few options. ahh i can already see his interactions with her :33 He would be the one who interacts more with other rp accounts so ill have more fun with him because Araceli is soooo antisocial 😒
ANYWAYS HE SHOULD BE DONE SOON SOO HEHEH 😈😼
little sneak peak of him!! the other two things is a portrait and him in uniform because he’s like a royal guard!!! i’ll yap more about relationship dynamics and what i have planned about their lore later…

So, as some of you may know, I've been playing bg3 for a while and @nivaliente gave my an insane idea that has not left me alone and thus is happening now lmao (and I've already started the play through 😅). For those unfamiliar with the character creator, the face options are very limited so this was genuinely the best I could do. His hair also covers his scar, thus the bald pic, but it is what it is. And I’ve lost my mind, so I’m kinda alternating between my Durge and him cause why not
Here's my ruleset for this playthrough (behind a cut cause it got a bit long lmao):
The concept is we're just going to take him right from star wars canon, post-TFA, to somehow ending up on the nautiloid (so like. Idk maybe after being rescued off Starkiller he took a shuttle ahead to Snoke and it got waylaid). So he knows nothing about anything (as far as the game allows at least) and we're using post-TFA characterization, so he's in his peak 'doubts and instability' era
He’s a paladin with oath of the ancients to represent the jedi but I broke the oath as soon as I could (that made sense), so he's an oathbreaker, since you can't start as that
We're also doing Tav, not Durge, even though Durge suits him a lot, simply because I want to stick with my 'literally straight from canon' background
DREAM GUARDIAN OG REN
We're also going to pretend he can't see the map/nav points cause my boy would just run from main objective to main objective and do 0 side objectives, which would be a Problem levelling wise lmao. I still expect him to refuse to get involved with some (okay, probably a lot of) things, but I need him to encounter as much as possible if we don't want to be insanely underlevelled the whole time and make it impossible for bad-at-strategy-games me to get through the game lmao
I'm not planning any of my decisions with him, because Kylo would never plan out his decisions lmao. We're doing largely just raw rp based on what dialogue I think makes the most sense for him (regardless of consequences 😅). That also means that all decisions will be based on what he knows and discovers and figures out about possible ways to resolve a situation. So if I know something he hasn't found out, I will not use that knowledge to help him. I expect this will lead to some Non-Ideal situations (though who knows, maybe it'll help him in some ways lmao)
This also means that if I know he would want x to happen, but the thing he would say would lead to y happening, I will let him fumble into that. Kylo's entire life story is about doing things that never had a chance of resulting in what he actually wants to happen so. It's really the most in character I could be lmao
The exception to this will be in cases like. Where he would want to kill an NPC but there's no 'attack' dialogue unless you take this one specific route that doesn't match what I think he would say, simply because I don't want to glitch anything by killing those NPCs out of combat. So there will be an occasional fudge there
And with the dialogues, we’re gonna pick the closest in vibes, cause even early on there’s a lot of times where I’m like ‘well I don’t think he’d say any of these things’ so. We’re going with what we’ve got and that’s the best we can do
I'm also not going to do anything that's like 'well Kylo is a villain, so we'll just click all the evil options'. We're picking what I think he would actually do, or as close as I can get at least, with no regard for what the outcome will be in terms of either my or his preferences
I'm not planning any romances, but if one just Happens, well, we'll go from there (I do headcanon Kylo as gay though, so male options only, he will turn down the women if/when they offer)
I am gonna try not save scum so much (keyword being ‘try’ lmao) just to kinda make it more realistic but I’ll still probably do it sometimes
The one thing I am gonna do that's technically ooc is, if he does fight the goblins (I'm kinda expecting him to, he's gonna fight everyone lbr - boy is not the alliance making kind of person), I will at least try to spare Minthara (I didn't get a chance to on my first run and on my second run, I'm not at Moonrise yet so I don't actually know if I did it right). This isn't because Kylo would, this is because I'm very worried about how many companions we're gonna have near the end of the game lmao. I am expecting to lose at least a few 😅 So we're just gonna pretend that she managed to survive a seemingly fatal blow, something that happens in star wars literally all the time anyway
Also I’m kinda breaking characterization to recruit most of the companions in the first place, given Kylo isn’t much of a ‘well let’s buddy up’ kind of person so. Instead of like ‘good luck with that, I don’t need any company’ we will largely make/accept offers to buddy up cause otherwise we would be playing this game entirely with hirelings and that’s no fun lmao. He's also not really the type to chat away with them either, but we need some interactions here to make anything happen so. Gotta fudge some things for the sake of an interesting playthrough
I am including some of my personal headcanons into his characterization, like I see him being the type to prefer animals to people, so indiscriminate animal violence is something I don't agree with him doing (yay, Scratch is gonna be okay!). Self-defence only. I also think that while he doesn’t necessarily like children, he doesn’t like to see bad things happen to them (especially if those things remind him at all of things that happened to him)
And I think that pretty much covers it? Idk how many people would be interested in hearing about his adventures, as idk how many on this side of my internet activities have played, but I might post a bit depending on how things go. I am expecting a wildly chaotic neutral sequence of events skdskdsl
#yes this is insane but yes I am doing it anyway#wish me luck lmao#already I am having trouble Being Mean but I am trying!#(god I'm so scared he's gonna kill some of the companions later send help lmao)#kylo ren#bg3#the boy in faerun#<- that'll be my tag I guess? if I do post about it?#idk we'll see lmao#my post

Tales from the Aether TTRPG System: Durability
Masterpost // Previous // Next
This is a peak at some design elements of my TTRGP Tales from the Aether. This is not dnd. If you think some of these ideas are interesting, check out my Masterpost linked above and feel free to send me feedback :D
Now, before you pull out your pitchforks and torches - Durability is an optional rule set and can be ignored but! Adding durability to the players’ equipment will incentivizes them to approach potential combat more creatively to reduce the damage their gear takes as well as encouraging them to befriend blacksmiths to have their gear repaired, or learn the trade themselves to repair their gear on the road. Allowing weapons and armor to wither over time adds a sense of urgency and caution to longer expeditions where the players may not have access to a blacksmith for a while. Also, it gives your players a natural cooldown period while their gear is being repaired where they can focus on the non combat elements of the game I’ll talk about later. If your players are prepared and keep their equipment in good health, the likelihood of their armor or weapons breaking during an adventure are incredibly low - unless you intentionally throw a mage whose magic is tailored to eroding armor at them, then they are screwed regardless of how prepared they are. However! This would create a very interesting situation where the players would need to approach this battle cleverly and unlock an RP opportunity they wouldn't usually find themselves in... see? Just hear me out :D
The Durability rules are simple, during a combat encounter, every player must keep a tally of every time they successfully attack with a weapon and (if wearing armor or using a shield) every time an attack successfully strikes them. Additionally, if you are struck with a spell that degrades armor or use an ability that sacrifices item durability to reduce damage, write down how much damage your armor took but don't bother to do the math until after the encounter is over. Once the encounter is over and the scene has ended, all role play resolved, you calculate how much damage your equipment has taken during the battle. For every tally your weapon or armor has, roll 1d4. This is the amount of damage your item took during the battle. Enchanted weapons and armor are immune to non magical durability damage so even "useless" enchantments are useful.
The only time you would do the math for your Durability during combat is if your Durability is low and your equipment has a chance of breaking during the combat. However, if the gm has plans to throw an enemy at the party that specifically breaks armor and weapons, they must be prepared and actively take breaks at the top of an Initiative round to calculate everyones equipment durability in the case their equipment breaks during combat.
An optional version of this rule set is only counting durability damage from magic or creatures that have unique abilities that damage items.
Next week I'll talk about combat :>

Hey! I know I don't have many followers and stuff but this story is kinda for me and I wanted to share it. I've been really stressed out lately and writing is a good way to express my feelings. Thank you all who have interacted tho, it's very very nice. But yeah! This is a story I've been writIng about some of my ocs I've used in rp and this story is published on Wattpad. I would be happy to answer any questions and etc.
Thunder
Inside her leathery prison, Aconite awoke startled by what was happening. She looked up at the tiny cracks of light that peaked through the opening. Desperately, she stood up and tried to reach her escape, but it was useless. The junk in the pouch caused her to get toppled over, and the boy's movements were so rickety it was like standing on a wave-battered vessel.
Eventually, she gave up. She sank to the bottom and silently wept, stifling any loud noises from her mouth. She thought of all the awful things that had happened to her fellow nymphs. Their blood was used for god-slaying weapons, forcing them to say their name so they could do whatever the humans wanted, heads for trophies. Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud creak of a door opening. Simon placed the bag on a hook above the stove, unannounced to the man. Their voices carried on some obscure conversation, and after thirty minutes, all went silent. This was the perfect opportunity for Aconite to escape. She jumped just high enough for her fingers to reach the opening. Then, she hoisted herself up, finally reaching her head out.
From her view, she could see the entire house, and it seemed so inconceivably monstrous that it had to be some horrible nightmare. The coast was clear. She crawled out of the bag, placing her feet on the button that closed it. She looked down and noted the humongous soup pot ready to be cooked. Carefully, she reached over towards the hook; if she managed to grab it, she could escape to a nearby shelf. Her reach wasn't quite far enough, and she hobbled over to jump to it. In one swift motion, she completely missed.
Aconite's mind raced as she fell from such an immense height. She prayed to whatever deity could hear her- or even one that cared- that this wouldn't be her end. Her body hit the water harshly, and panic quickly followed. While nymphs had a strong connection with water allowing them to hold their breath for a long time and other properties, this was dangerous.
The vegetables and herbs bumped against her body as she frantically swam toward the end. Her fingers dug into the side, immediately burning her.
Iron.
She thought to herself as she winced, pulling back immediately. That's when the sound started.
It sounded like thunder but more consistent. The sound shook Aconite to her core as she knew what followed after this. A terrible monster who'd gobble her up in one bite, an ugly beast who'd use her precious blood for their selfish gain. While she had decided to help the boy, she had no interest in the man. With nowhere left to go, she ducked into the water, trying to stay hidden by the plants m floating on the top. His footsteps got closer, and the pot began to move. He was preparing supper! A wooden spoon stuck into the pool and began to stir. Aconite frantically tried to avoid it but was swept into its whirl. The spices began infiltrating her mouth and eyes, causing a burning sensation. She could not take it anymore. Her head appeared above the water, and she gasped for air. The stirring suddenly stopped, and the man yelled, falling backward onto his bum.
"What the hell?!" He screamed. Recklessly, Aconite tried to crawl out of the side. It was her only option. Either she had to face this beast and reveal her powers, which would anger him, or she could do her best to escape. As she crawled against the side, her skin began to blister. Every touch felt like fire being placed against her delicate lavender skin, but she had to keep going. She had almost done it when she noticed the looming hand from behind. Tears streamed down her face as the world moved in slow motion. There was nothing she could do.
His hand pried her off the side. His rough leathery palms held her in a harsh grip.
"A nymph?! Good gods!" He squinted his eyes closed. Aconite stared into the pools of green. It was a horrific sight, like the one of the leviathan's gaze emerging from the dark ocean's abyss, but also a gorgeous one. Her body shook with fear as her life came crumbling down into pieces.
"How did you get here?" His voice became sterner, but all Aconite could do was look up at him with watery eyes.
"I won't let you hurt my family or me." His grip tightened, and she squeaked, trying to squirm out of his hand. Aconite finally gained the courage to speak.
"Please, no! It was a simple mistake! Swear! I wouldn't-" Aconite yelled.
The man interrupted, "Oh? Of course, it was! Because your kind is only known for one thing, death. Your species struck the most benevolent gods for power." He scoffed.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I-" Suddenly, the hand swept her into a glass container. Aconite cried, begging him to stop.
"Please! I found your boy resting by the creek! I only wanted to help! I swear! I swear!" She cried. "No! No!"
His fist slammed against the counter, causing her to cover her head instinctively.
"Enough. I'll figure out what to do with you in the morning." He walked away, leaving her to sob in her wet clothes. She was captured again.

Looking for RP partners for kamuegi role plays!
I have fallen into rare pair purgatory and am in dire need of kamuegi RPs! I don’t normally look for RPs via tumblr but I am getting ✨Desperate✨
I’m looking for 18+ (though preferably 20+) writers interested in multi-paragraph RP, who don’t mind a slower posting schedule- expect one or two posts per day on the high end, and one response per week on the low end from me. I don’t mind RPing over discord or through Cherp if you have an account.
I can write both as Makoto and as Izuru, though I do have more experience writing Izuru and have several pre-written prompts from his POV and plots to work with, which I’ll link below. For content I’m willing to write, I’m good with writing violent content, angst, plot, nsfw stuff, fluff, and more! Shoot me a message over tumblr and we can talk further details on interests and limits.
Also, I’m posting some RP prompts I’ve already written, but please don’t feel as though we need to limit things to just those prompts! I’m completely willing to plot up something new together with you, or hear out any ideas that you might happen to have ^^
Now without further ado, the prompts!
First up we’ve got an AU where Izuru was never discovered by Junko and remained in captivity all throughout Despair. However, through a lucky accident (or through a very deliberate use of luck if you’d like to play it that way!) Makoto ends up causing the destruction of the lab Izuru is living in. Leading to the both of them crossing paths while the building crumbles around them. (warnings for brief mentions of animal death) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mIDo3BCvwa6mULqx4DPEonhSKSrgW7Iyc8isqXxQXb4/edit?usp=sharing
Next we’ve got a post-simulation AU where Izuru woke up from the NWP instead of Hajime and is now working for Makoto at the Future Foundation. Izuru is… very, very fixated on Makoto to the point where he’s going behind Makoto’s back to kill in his name in order to make Makoto’s life easier. Though Izuru is very much in love with Makoto in this prompt, that hasn’t exactly stopped him from being just as morally grey and ends-justify-the-means as usual. (warning for canon-typical violence. Izuru does some pipe murders!) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VF3KkEzaznl52yI2vpoEhOAC6AjHF3gETarPOiXbSX4/edit?usp=sharing
This one is a pretty straight forwards AU where Izuru meets Junko while captive under Hope’s Peak just as usual, but while he is scoping out the world outside of the labs, he runs into Makoto. We can discuss where we want to take the plot from here, but we have options! Is Izuru convinced of Hope and leaving Junko’s plan behind? Is he intrigued by Makoto and all the more eager to run him through his paces in a killing game? Does he decide to eschew everything else and kidnap Makoto for himself instead? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Tx7X-zZxhjwV-FlkZlrGsv7ZGnrBl89Hg9vtY_Zx7Ws/edit?usp=sharing
And now, a very different take on how Izuru would react to waking up from the NWP! Which is to say that he completely he completely and utterly loses it. This prompt explores what it would actually be like for Izuru to suddenly be laden with emotions after waking up from the program… when Izuru has exactly Zero means of dealing with or interpreting those emotions. I feel like a lot of fan content frames gaining ‘emotions’ as a solution, rather than emotions simply being more sensory information. This prompt is an answer to that! (HEAVY warning for suicide in this one. The way this prompt interprets the NWP glitch is that it’s basically a very elaborate suicide attempt from Izuru, either erasing his identity through Junko or Hajime.) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MIexre0Iw7B1Z1TeNW8Nah8gomkwt0iCU8nrrezDEeA/edit?usp=sharing
I’ll also tack on a fluff prompt! This is a post-simulation AU where Izuru and Hajime share a body and Izuru is pretty ticked off at Hajime for getting them sick. He’s feeling both under the weather and under appreciated and so he’s grumpy! Basically set up for some low stakes hurt/comfort❤️ https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IA7yOSzDnjy6cVJJLKVtjGVsrr37k-l6bInJcWsehdk/edit?usp=sharing
Aaaaand now I’ve got a few NSFW prompts to share! First one is a very silly post simulation prompt where on a whim, Izuru decides to find out what aphrodisiacs will do to his body. Spoiler alert- he gets super horny. No warnings to share here! Izuru is fully lucid and in control of himself, and consent from all parties should be enthusiastically given. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IcH52WCvwmUkdpYLPF00GyQy5xJ8wS8pbMtIfKra5OE/edit?usp=sharing
And for my final act, I’ve somehow baked plot into a prompt which was supposed to only serve the purpose of Makoto touching Izuru’s boobs. This is an AU set after the events of DR1 but before the events of SDR2. Here, Izuru is working together with Makoto on the NWP and basically setting things up to round up the other remnants. Izuru is *also* very extremely attracted to Makoto. But because he can’t conceive of himself as being subjective in any way… he projects this attraction onto Makoto and ‘’’allows’’’ Makoto the privilege of touching him. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nYFGOLlkk-6XbS8zFC4rwhYlB2hHEbvd5vgec_E7ih0/edit?usp=sharing

@dcviated asked: 10 and 15!
Munday Writing Stuff - Accepting!
Something that bothers you to read in RP specifically?
Two big ones would be muses with no discernible faults or weaknesses (the Mary Sue/Gary Stu sort of muse that should be appealing and attractive to everyone. I have chosen not to follow blogs for this very reason: decent writing quality, but too-perfect muses), and quiet/brooding/introspective muses whose threads don't leave much to interact with or respond to. Closely followed by replies that answer questions from your previous reply, but don't add anything else to the thread.
But a Danganron.pa-specific annoyance? DR muses whose talents never factor into their lives. Yes, they're written as being admitted to Hope's Peak Academy based on such-and-such talent, and then the muns...never show them engaging with that talent. Not even schoolwork.
As fun as high school stories can be, the whole point of Hope's Peak, at least in the Main Course, is to gather students who are incredibly skilled in specific talents while aiming to have them be wholly and completely defined by them, in order to obtain the brightest possible future. A secured career for life, money, fame, etc. That's a lot of pressure for a 16 to 18 year old! There's even canon characters who don't want to be defined by their specific talents, and some who want to pursue other interests but due to their status at Hope's Peak, they can't.
And I really wish more DR muns would explore those topics: how did their muse's talents end up shaping their muse? Did they peak in high school? Did they eventually go on to the success the school promised?
This is more of what bothers me not to read in RP, but I think it still qualifies.
How many times do you reread a reply?
I talked about how many times I read my own in another reply, but here I'll share how many times I reread someone else's starter to me/reply in a thread:
Around a dozen.
Especially if the reply is long and/or there's a Big Dramatic Moment going on.
This is mostly due to my own writing process which involves something like this:
get tagged in reply and/or starter
read said post
Immediately get a few dialogue options that I scribble down for later
think on it for a little while/overnight/while I do something else
sit down to write properly. Read through the post at least twice more.
Put the kettle on for pot of tea #1
Look at my earlier/immediate notes and either decide 'there's something here that might be okay' or 'well this is crap and I have no idea how to match my writing partner's quality and make them feel All The Things'
Decide I need to put on a playlist. Immediately get distracted by whatever random track Spotify thinks my Daily Mix needs.
"Well, I'll read this again and then do some google searches for thread ideas. For accuracy, you know."
This inevitably leads to a deep dive of: blogs, reddit, wikipedia, and/or YouTube
"Oh, this would be a great idea for another thread/a future thread! But wait, I was supposed to get inspo for -this- thread"
Goes back to read the reply a few more times
Right around here is when I try to write the first paragraph and yell about why I can't form words good. I'm an absolute imposter of a writer because why am I not turning around thousands of words per day.
Someone messages me on discord with something inevitably more appealing than trying to write this reply. I engage with it because that's a cute meme or great idea for muse shenanigans
Put on the kettle for pot of tea #2 while browsing the dash
Laugh at some dashcomm, send some memes, immediately forget where I was going with that thread reply
Read the reply once again while the tea steeps
...finally write and queue my reply to the reply, possibly while annoyed this took so long.
This is also why writing more than three replies or starters per day for me is a real achievement. Because each time, I go through this process. I'm sure there's a better way to focus and do things but I've yet to figure it out.

Aight this is going to sound buckwild but its worth a shot. I'm 20+ looking for another 20+ writer. I'd like to play Dr. Kel from Voices of the Void in a crossover rp.
I'm open to a bunch of options for the crossover. Specifically, I was imagining playing against a character (OC or CC is fine) from X-Files or Twin Peaks, but I am also open to playing against science-fiction oriented OCs and/or crossing over with original settings.
This rp will probably be a little heavier on the plotting and worldbuilding side, as we'll have to decide how all of these pieces fit together lol.
This would at least start as a platonic pairing, but I'd be down to negotiate and change things up if we feel like it. I tend to write ~300-500 words in a response, lit/semi-lit style, but I'm flexible. I'd be happy to double up, and I enjoy chit-chatting ooc too. Leave a like here and I'll reach out!

Hell Year
So most of 2023 and first four months of 2024 were fucking hell. I barely remember it. All thanks to this one fucking person.
I cut them out of my life. They were actively dragging me down and their presence was a huge mental drain on me.
Tw: fictional rape, real suicide attempts, real and fictional self harm.
I will probably edit this post to get my thoughts in order. I'm not telling this story to garner pity, I'm telling it to explain why I was probably acting erratically over the past year.
I think the breakdown that led to me deleting all my SWTOR art, and later my Tumblr was partially caused by me being fucking worn out by this person's demand I talk to them every waking minute of my day.
I was in pain but didn't see that that "friend" was the main source of pain and exhaustion, and so I lashed out at the next best thing.
Please please heed the trigger warnings and the mature content tag!
I don't know what to call them. I suppose "friend" will have to suffice, for ease of telling this story.
I met them last year. Barely two weeks into talking they called me their best friend. They also dumped horrific trauma onto me within those two weeks. Sexual assault. Three suicide attempts. Photos of their fresh cutting wounds.
They put me on a pedestal just cause I showed them basic human kindness and politeness I try to show people by default. They kept saying how they don't need other friends. And how their mood gets better with me around.
They expected non stop 24 \ 7 interaction and would threaten or even attempt self harm and suicide when I said I need space.
I'm very introverted. I REALLY need a lot of alone time and space to recharge. Do you see the problem?
It's difficult to put into words how worn down I got. Several months of non stop RP. Several months of having to constantly comfort this person. Several months without being allowed to rest in peace and quiet. I stopped writing. My art slowed down a lot. I felt like my head was constantly full of buzzing static.
We both were into 40k. So they wormed their way into roleplaying as our characters. They had cool character concepts, but they went out of the window the moment the RP started. They just turned into submissive anime waifus who just want to be isolated with my characters forever and have a traditional family with babies despite being fucking grimdark cyborgs.
Like the player, they said they don't need anyone else. And they all had nearly identical angsty backstories filled with rape. Like, that person would probably think the manga Metamorphosis is peak literature because they think misery and cynicism are intellectual and sophisticated.
Ah yes. Rape. Their favourite fucking subject.
They kept casually shoving rape into the RP, dropping it on both their own and my characters. It was a fun quirky random event to randomly happen in the roleplay. /Sarcasm.
Now, I don't have a problem with dark topics in fiction. You can write or draw whatever. Appropriate tags and warnings are appreciated. But RP is a whole nother beast. It takes two or more people to RP.
I mean, shit. One of my favourite stories ever is Berserk. However. There is a big fucking difference between choosing to read Berserk and reading through the Eclipse, or writing the Eclipse and giving people a choice whether or not they want to read it, and being fucking coerced into roleplaying the Eclipse. As Griffith, no less.
I went with it for two reasons. First, I figured out it was some kind of catharsis for them. Second, my options were either roleplay raping their OC or have a multiple hours long fight. In which they would threaten self harm and suicide, and be passive aggressive. Which in turn is a huge trigger for me as I have to deal with it IRL.
Here's the grim tally of characters who got raped in RP for no fucking reason. Roll the fucking Curb Your Enthusiasm theme, I guess:
My Kenaz, by slaaneshi cultists on their forge world, for like several days straight
Their character R - in their backstory
R again, by their former mentor (makes no sense for admechs to be so controlled by fleshy desires). Dahan (played by me) killed him.
Their character D, same exact backstory as R
D again, by some rando tech priest, who also got killed by Dahan
D yet again, in a horrible alt timeline. Dahan had to watch before breaking out and killing the perps.
Their character F, in her backstory. Slightly different from the other two.
F again, by the same Slaaneshi cultists as Kenaz
F yet again, by a stand in for that exfriend's ex's character. He got, you guessed it, killed by Dahan.
F yet again, by Skoll because I guess the player gets off to that shit.
Kotov, played by me, by a fellow admech(makes no bloody sense)
Irbis, played by me, by the character who was supposed to be his love interest.
My Skoll, by a slaaneshi cultist.
Oh, also: if I gathered my little spine sprout and said no to a scenario or ship for whatever reason, they'd throw a fit and torment me with graphic descriptions of their character mutilating themself. Or draw their character mutilated and post it somewhere I could see.
I eventually got them to stop shoving rape into every plot, until...
The crowning fucked up cherry on top of the shit rape cake. They pushed a scenario where my character Irbis would have a smut related modification installed in him against his will and against his character. And it was implied that their character was the one secretly behind it. Their character, who was supposed to be Irbis's love interest.
And to add insult to injury, the character Scorn so gleefully turned into a rapist was a character I gave them.
I don't know where else to put this, and it's kinda, more light hearted compared to the other shit. They also did this thing where they wanted to copy my character design, have it altered a bit, and make it their own character. I did a lot of these copycat designs for them, but they also commissioned other artists for them as well.
My OCs
Here's a rundown:
- Skoll copycat (designed by me)
- Teyron (centipede tech priest) (designed by me, for free)
- Pollux (fiery lion tech priest) (designed by me, ended up keeping him)
Book characters with my headcanon designs
- Kotov from Forges of Mars (copy based on my design, basic sketch by me, ref done by another artist)
- Dahan from Forges of Mars (copy based on my design, by another artist. Ended up with me and became Irbis.)
Their obsessive adoration towards me scared me. I was / am scared they'd try to find me IRL and do something horrible to me, as the physical boundaries of my body are the only ones they haven't trampled on.
- Telok from Forges of Mars (again, my design)
Actual Warhammer minis:
- Magos Dreykavac (ended up with me, slightly redesigned, and became Ophania)
- Myrmidon Secutor (they just had the artist add a slightly different head. Ended up with me, became Mordred. We love Mordred in this house.)
Back to heavy shit I guess.
I was afraid to walk away, fearing they'd kill themself and the blood would be on my hands. I got so worn down by them throwing fits and threatening to hurt themselves, or getting passive aggressive in the same exact way my mom does, that I just kinda shut down and went with whatever they wanted unless completely drained.
I'm angry at them for taking advantage of me. I'm angry at myself for letting them do so. I saw the red flags but pushed on because I felt responsible for this person.
They were incredibly insecure and I guess jealous? Constantly whining about stuff they didn't get while "everyone else around them got cool stuff".
They threw fits over:
me posting art at quicker rate than they did;
me having cool stuff in SWTOR because I played the game for like 11 years at that point;
Me not wanting to RP SWTOR stuff cause I have a complicated relationship with SWTOR (that one ended up with them posting art of their character gruesomely decapitated where I could see it)
Me begging for time and space alone to fucking rest (that one ended up with them attempting suicide!)
not having money to buy an expensive clothing item
someone in the same room having an ipad and drawing on it.
Me trying to say something nice about their characters and saying they looked kind
At one point they tried to kill themself. I managed to get them to stop. I managed to convince them to get help. I felt so relieved about it.
However...
It came out later thar thet lied to me FOR MONTHS about going to therapy. Which kinda put a big fat question about literally everything about them because if they lied about that FOR MONTHS, what else could have they lied about?
I shit you not, they even mentioned getting made up homework from their made up therapist over the course of the six or so months they kept the lie up. And they passed off info from online articles as shit they learned in therapy.
Somehow they had the brain capacity to remember everything needed to maintain an elaborate lie for MONTHS but then they couldn't be arsed to remember details about their own OCs or my OCs. Priorities I guess.
During the same fight they also tormented me with graphic descriptions of physical harm done to them by a family member, as well as graphic descriptions of self harm and suicide. They knew full well I can't handle graphic descriptions / depictions of violence a lot of the time.
The final straw that killed this relationship was them dropping 40k as an interest. They replaced their entire personality with nutcrackers from Lethal Company.
They kept trying to show me art of them. They sent me screenshots of nsfw messages they sent someone else about the nutcrackers.
I asked them to not show me that. And even then it was this constant hemming and hawing about wanting to show me stuff I explicitly said I didn't want to see.
That last one was the last straw that resulted in a fight where we mutually blocked each other. EXCEPT, TWO DAYS LATER who do I see in my art page's notification, but A PAINFULLY OBVIOUS ALT of theirs? It had the name of one of their OCs as the name, and their own 2Edgy5U nutcracker art as the pfp.
Like, good job burning any remnants of any bridge that could stay between us, dumbass.
And like, I feel bad for hating them because they are obviously very mentally ill. But also I left because they wouldn't leave me alone even when I begged for it. And i sure had to beg a disturbing amount over the course of whatever shambling fuck that relationship was.
They lied to me. They coerced me into roleplaying rape scenarios under threats of self harm and suicide. They took advantage of me trying to be kind and turned me into their little therapy bitch.
And like, my fucking art block that had me in a chokehold for like two months cleared up almost the moment I hit the block button. I feel much calmer for the most part. I even started writing again.
I recently learned that it's healthier to express emotions than to bottle them up and let them fester, and I have a lot of pent up emotions about this.
A few months after I left, I briefly spoke to them to see if they have some files I lost. We talked. They seemed to be apologetic, but given their capacity to lie, what's the worth of those apologies?
Apparently i was the only one blessed with being coerced into roleplaying rape under threat of self harm, suicide, and multiple hours long fights. What fun. /Sarcasm.
I bought some character designs from them, and they tried to charge me twice for one of them, claiming they forgot. Jury is out on whether or not its the truth or they just wanted to squeeze a bit more money from me lol.
I went back to blocking them after a brief fight where I confronted them about everything they did and that it hurt me. Of course, they started whining that they don't wanna hear about it.
I don't regret the fight or going back to blocking them. It was my plan to do so, after my dealings with them were done, although my plan was less aggressive. I just wanted to fade out. But leaving with a bang will do too.
All in all, I have mixed feelings about it all that range from grief to hatred and back.
I cared about them. But now I hate them. I want them to know that I hate them, and to know exactly why. My fucking life is now separated into Before Them, The Hell Year, and After Them.
Never got my files back even tho I distinctly remember giving them an archive. Just got a bunch of random shit they saved from the internet, some of it not even mine.
Also, Scorn, if you see this: FUCK YOU.
You raped my soul. You took advantage of my kindness. You lied to me for months. With friends like you, who bloody needs enemies?
I hope the people you're using for your entertainment and free therapy see that you are a leech. A leech that attaches itself to people and sucks out their personality, beliefs, interests, and energy.
Also, how's that chatroom that roleplays astra militarum by harassing people for being weird or queer or furries treating ya, by the way? You had no issue with it despite having latched onto the exact kind of person they target. You hung out with them despite me foolishly coming out to you.
I hope you end up alone for the rest of your life. Because it is your biggest fear. And I hope it comes true. And no one hears your screaming fits that your literally terminally online ass has if your internet cuts out for 0.000001 seconds.
To anyone who might divine who this person is: don't engage with them. Don't harass them, it will only fuel their martyr / victim shtick. Don't let them near unless you want to be coerced into rape roleplay, or unless you want to be an emotional support dog.

nearly 70 years ago, the inherently warlike nature of humanity reached its peak in an event known as the war of the last walk — a conflict that raged for decades and devastated much of the earth's habitable surface and population. the war only came to an end with the construction of enormous walls that, to this day, encircle the remaining territories.
one of the few nations still standing is 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮, where the population has learned to live with and even revere the walls as their great protectors. however, due to a significant decline in population and external threats beyond the walls, the future of this once-great nation is now in jeopardy. faced with such a catastrophic scenario, the royal government of brittania has decided — for the first time since the walls were erected, to undertake something previously deemed unthinkable.
the matrimony project. in short, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀. for the first time in the country's history, the sacred church and the royal government of brittania are not only permitting but actively encouraging marriages between individuals from different social classes—something that was strictly forbidden until now. this bold initiative is aimed at securing the nation's future.
for all citizens between the ages of 21 and 55, a pairing test will be imposed — an evaluation that considers a variety of factors to determine compatible couples. those who are matched will have the option to marry, with a series of benefits granted to those who do so and conceive one or more children. to further incentivize the completion of these marriages, brittania's five great royal families have confirmed that their primary heirs will participate in the project, underscoring their commitment to the common people.
this is the concept for a dystopian rp centered around 𝗆𝖺𝗋𝗋𝗂𝖺𝗀𝖾𝗌 ! Interested? join in, and feel free to ask any questions — i’ll be available all night to help you out!

Usual blacklist, you know the drill! No racism, homophobia, transphobia or any kind of LGBTQ+ discrimination; and of course absolutely no p//dophilia nor //ncest or any of that shit.
Muse ≠ mun. Pretty much ALL muses here are villains or have very poor morals; this does not mean the author condones any of their actions.
This is mainly a NSFW-oriented blog, much like my main. Anyone underage I strictly request not to interact.
Absolutely NO kink shaming. This is a safe space and it will often involve belly-related kinks (I mean... it IS centered around the whole deadly sin of 'gluttony' after all).
Again, keep in mind my muses are VILLAINS. They are members of a cult, that alone speaks volumes. They are not going to coddle your muse or automatically be nice out of the blue. Each has their personality and each will react differently.
I have the right to decline any RP interaction or ship. Please keep in mind it's nothing personal, it simply did not peak my interest!
Mun is a slow writer + has memory issues. I might forget whole threads entirely (I do not mind being reminded about them of course!💜), I ask you to please be patient with me!! If you seek fast threads, I might not be the best option for you. /lh /gen
If you don't have a RP blog or side blog, I ask to please not directly interact/follow! Mainly to avoid clogging up my notes.

The RP Speaker-5000F allows you to adjust your sound, whether you like a neutral sound or a lot of basses.
Sound quality and performance of Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F
Let’s move on to the most critical feature of any speaker: The quality of its sound. The Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F truly shines in this department, delivering an audio experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.
The speaker’s dynamic and detailed soundstage is a result of its dual 5.25-inch spun copper woofers. These woofers are designed to minimize distortion and provide deep, impactful bass. Whether you’re listening to a bass-heavy track or watching an action-packed movie, the RP Speaker-5000F reproduces low frequencies with remarkable precision and authority. But it’s not just the bass that impresses.
The RP Speaker-5000F also excels in the midrange, thanks to its 1-inch titanium LTS vented tweeter and hybrid Tractrix horn. Vocals and instruments are reproduced with exceptional clarity and accuracy, allowing you to hear every nuance and detail in your favorite songs.
The speaker’s wide dispersion ensures that the sound fills the room evenly, creating a truly immersive listening experience. The sound quality remains consistent regardless of how close or far away you are from the speaker.
Design and build of Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F
At 36.2×8.2×14.4 inches (HWD), the Klipsch RP-5000F is a medium-sized floor speaker. It’s not too big for a Klipsch floor-standing speaker. The 37-pound cabinet has a strong feel to it. This cabinet was made well.
The speaker stands on well-put-together feet made of cast metal. When I took these speakers out of the box and set them up, they didn’t bend or give. Given the price, it’s good that it’s built well. They look much better without their full-length mesh grills. The black-and-copper color scheme is a symbol. It looks expensive and makes a statement. But I just couldn’t say no.
In addition to its impressive performance, the Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F also boasts a sleek and elegant design. The speaker features a black polymer veneer finish that not only looks stylish but also helps to minimize resonance and improve sound quality. The MDF cabinet construction further enhances the speaker’s overall build quality.
The RP Speaker-5000F also comes with a grille that can be taken off to protect the drivers and show off the beautiful design of the speaker. The speaker will look fantastic with or without the grille, depending on your personal preference.
Comparison with other Speakers in the market
The Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F is an excellent speaker in its own right, but it’s helpful to evaluate it in relation to other options on the market.
In terms of sound quality, the RP Speaker-5000F competes favorably with other speakers in its price range. It’s an excellent choice for music lovers as well as fans of music due to its deep bass, delicate center, and crisp record-setting levels. It’s important to keep in mind that different speakers on the market can bring out sound in different ways. The Klipsch RP-5000F floor speaker sounds great for the price. Because it is so efficient, you can also get great, loud music without an amplifier. The bass is clear and strong in every genre I tried, making these speakers great for home parties and movie nights.
In terms of design, the RP Speaker-5000F holds its own. Its sleek and elegant appearance makes it a visually appealing choice, while its build quality ensures durability and longevity. However, some speakers in the market may offer more customization options in terms of finishes or grille colors.

Pricing and Availability of Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F
The Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F is priced competitively, considering its exceptional sound quality and build. It’s available for purchase on various online platforms and authorized retailers. The price may vary depending on the region and any ongoing promotions.
Officially, each Klipsch RP-5000F speaker costs $434, making a pair cost $868. However, I’ve seen them online for closer to $650, which is a great deal. I wouldn’t think twice about getting a pair for that price or close to it. But it’s closer to the official MSRP, so I might wait a little bit. There is more competition at the higher end of the price range, and there are a lot of other choices between $800 and $1200, like the Q Acoustic 3050i or the DALI Oberon 5, which is a recent favorite.
Klipsch RP-5000F vs. Dali Oberon 5
The DALI Oberon 5, a small Danish floor-standing speaker that you can see on Amazon, is another great choice. The Oberon 5 has the same sound as the Klipsch RP-5000F, but it is smaller and comes in more modern colors. In my opinion, the Oberon 5 had a better sound.
On a good day, the Oberon 5 costs $1100, so it can’t be compared to the Klipsch. For that price, you can get the 60-pound RP-8000F, which has two 8-inch copper cerametallic woofers. Your space and money budgets will decide.
Conclusion
I hope you like the information about the Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F, which is a true powerhouse in the world of audio. The speaker redefines what is possible in terms of sound quality, aesthetics, and functionality from a speaker. Whether you are a serious audiophile or simply respect sound quality, the RP Speaker-5000F will enhance your listening experience. From its crystal-clear highs to its thunderous bass, this speaker immerses you in a world of sound like never before. The Klipsch RP Speaker-5000F is an excellent choice if you want high-quality sound at a reasonable price. Prepare to be captivated by its audio excellence and embark on a journey of sonic bliss.
