So, Ultrakill update

Oh boy do I have thoughts. All of them. Completely positive and I am now rethinking everything about V1 and I love it.

I always kinda knew they were sentient to an extent because we as the player, play V1. It's hard to incorporate an unfeeling machine as a player. Another talk for another day.

But I absolutely love the concept of all the machines because it makes a lot more sense now, or at least sudden realization. False life created by people now gone.

It also makes me think about the Earthmovers as well (not surprising, they're my favorite) in the level we (V1) can find a book. At the end of the book, it says the pages are blank.

I like to think this is V1 talking. Created to create the machine to crush the machine. V1's purpose, and Earthmovers purpose clashing together. The long night killing the Earthmovers and the one V1 fights is likely one of the last.

V1 is giving the Earthmovers their eulogy.

V1 is giving them closure. Their ultimate purpose come to pass.

Orz I'm devastated. I'll be thinking about this for WEEKS

This took me a week to draw! I'm busy with school and other stuff so I got like 2-8 hours a day of work for the last week. Crazy how I didn't get demotivated even once.

Now to praise the game ; I love it. I love it a lot. Firstly being introduced to it by a friend through a DnD campaign it slowly made me get into the Fate franchise itself. But samurai remnant will always stay my favorite entry in the franchise. The characters are amazing, the art and music are amazing and just everything about it is amazing. I really look foward to drawing more fanart for this game!

TLDR; peak game, drew every character (excluding DLC'S).

okay so i played some more outerwilds today (with a friend for company), and uhm!!! i doubled my play time in one session (not anything extreme, but i played about 4 hours more to a total of 8 so far)

[spoilers below the cut]

im REALLY liking it, still in the stage of finding stuff, but i was able to figure out how to warp to the hanging city from the ash twin (then proceeded to lose grip of the gravity warp thingies and fling myself into space via black hole)

hoping to continue to find a warp or someway to the southern observatory on brittle hollow next!! very excited to continue this

also i found.. egg. the stuff about the supernovae i actually noticed right before talking to chert :D! theres a lot of that happening!! woohoo

Also wee :) (LOVE this guy, gonna visit him again when i have the chance in game)

A rant under cut:

Never have I played a game series that drew me in so hard as persona has, i never considered myself a fan of turn based rpgs, I prefer more action, more speed, I played thoes final fantasy's and them pokemans Yada Yada, it wasn't my favriot genre, and I bought persona 5 royal after getting persona 5 strikers for free, as a "Yeah I've heard about this game, why not play it befor i play the spin off ya know?" And now I'm sitting here having bought every persona game on ps4 except dancing series (persona 3 dancing moonlight, persona 5 dancing starlight), and p3p (persona 3 portable), this series single handedly has made me appreciate turn based rpgs. Magnificent, absolutely magnificent to me. I walked in with the mindset of "ugh, turn based rpg AND visual novel? Gonna put this game down and never pick it up, aren't i? " The proceed to dedicate a whole two months to persona 5 alone and still have yet to finish it. I HAVE A ROLE PLAY BETWEEN ME A FREINDS BECAUSE OF THIS SERIES, If you're a fan of turn based rpgs/jrpgs or dramatic hero stories PLAY PERSONA, I guarantee you'll find some enjoyment out of them

I've just finished beating Solar Ash

like right now... two minutes ago even.

BOOOY was it a great game!

Visuals, sounds, music, voice acting: BEAUTIFUL! STUNNING!

LOVED the story!!

Unlike in hyper-light drifter, I could actually understand it! -This is not a criticism of hyper-light drifter (which is peak), this is just me admitting to be stoopid-

Side-note why is it that all the games I've been playing deal with grief?

Anyways...

game play was

like the level design, OH MY! the level design! As soon as I got the hang of the game, I found all the secrets like they were right behind every corner!!! GOOD DESIGN AAAAAA

the time-slip mechanic was fun as hell and I think I might just yoink that for future games -TRULY dastardly, I know- but I do think it would be fun to have a suit that allows you to chain grapples between enemies...

also... I caught two typos... can't believe they'd do that to me personally

Some Wilds Beta screenshots I got I enjoy this game already it is amazing, only needs optimization worked on along with servers needing more connectivity to them. This so far is my favorite entry for the amount of gameplay they improved, amazing art direction, and added mechanics that made things vastly more fun. What a game and what a time it comes out as well, on the weekend during my birth month great timing.
