Peace of God

In love with nothing in particular. I will explain. I connected with God last night. For the first time in a long time, I truly gave my situation to God. I cried. I broke. I gave it to God and I rejoiced. And now, I’ve got that feeling... you know the one where you know you’ve got something so larger than life that nothing could shake you?? Everything is beautiful in a way. The ordinary happenings of life go on as they do, yet they seem different, more bright. What’s going on? I should be so upset with everything that’s going on, but I feel so at peace. God has given me peace. I don’t quite understand it. Philippians 4 feels especially relevant.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7 ESV

People watching the news then regurgitating it all day. STAY AWAY FROM THE TV.. This is our world, if we all stay away from the TV we'll win it back.. Majorelle Garden is one of the most visited sites in Marrakech. It’s a botanical garden, very colorful. Some of the Yoga ladies asked me earlier today if it’s worth visiting the garden, and I think it is. It’s busy with tourists but I am sure you’ll still enjoy the environment here. Did you know, that the fashion designer, Yves Saint-Laurent owned this garden? He bought it in 1980 together with the villa inside the garden. The story says that he drew inspiration from the light and colors of Morocco. Moroccan moments 👉 Sit in a carpet shop after a long day in the souks (markets) of the Medina. I prefer to chill and relax whilst everyone else walks around for hours. The carpet man gets it and let’s me chill- out for a little while. With that said, I wish you a super peaceful Friday with a gentle reminder: 1. Life is shorter than we think, never leave any words unspoken 2. You are enough and will always be enough 3. You are capable of anything, believe in yourself 4.
