i was reading a lotta interesting posts about sydney’s dynamic with the player, so it inspired a title that i wanted to draw something for

it has two interpretations. the second is about how much sydney devotes and sacrifices herself in the service of others. they are so kind and selfless that they bring themselves to overwork, be it with the church, the library, their parent’s business, or even what the player asks of them. the only instance in which they allow themselves to be greedy is when it comes to the pc. there are cases when sydney shows a different, more dominant side to themself to the player. this is specifically about a point in the player room where they refuse to stop and instead allow themselves to take

the other interpretation is the juxtaposition between syndey and rowan. when sydney sacrifices herself for others, rowan evaluates the situation to make sure they always come out ahead. he uses kylar for free pepper charges (balancing their relationship), avery for spare change, and would put up any front to make ends meet. when robin was missing for two months, rowan only only helped after his christmas present would have been a waste (true story, sorry robin). however, the church barely gives any returns and the rates at sirris’ shop were not impressive considering rowan’s skill. so why did he spend all of those lunch periods and afterschools hanging out with syd? he’d like to know the answer himself

I don't like how prominent Windows and MacOS are because they make people need to get new hardware all the time.

my daily driver laptop is literally almost 15 years old. it has a first generation, dual core Intel i3 at 2.4GHz with 4GB of RAM, integrated graphics and a 128GB SSD. and it's perfectly usable for daily activities. I can browse the web, watch YouTube, I can even play some games.

and then I look at people saying that they're surprised that companies still sell laptops with 4GB of RAM. 4GB is perfectly usable! with like 10 tabs open in Firefox I'm using only 3GB.

I got this laptop for free because somebody was going to throw it away like 8 years ago or something, because it was getting slow. it ran windows 10 and was definitely slowing down, but by changing some settings on windows it ran a lot better but still not great.

but by putting Linux on it, it suddenly became perfectly powerful enough. even a heavy distro like Ubuntu ran like a breeze on it. I could play games on it again, I could run a bunch of programs at the same time again, I could watch YouTube at 1080p again.

and to this day it's still perfectly usable with modern software. I switched to Debian, and used a more lightweight DE, and it still runs great. it does have hiccups every now and then, namely Firefox no longer uses hardware video decoding on the GPU which makes it a little jittery with 1080p60 YouTube, but other than that, it's perfectly fine.

and installing and using Linux isn't nearly as advanced as people say it is. with just a little bit of knowledge you can easily install and use Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and others, and bring life to computers again.

it's windows that's making your computer slow. stop buying new computers and contributing to e-waste.

and if you don't want to switch, I'm more than happy to take your computer off your hands when it inevitably becomes too slow to use.

Patch 8 Stress Test destroyed most of my playthroughs (it does not agree with my mods- mind you-official ones from console mods board), but at least my Default Durge honor mode run is still all right!

:/ welp i was going to post some art today but it’s going to have to wait since my pc has apparently decided it’s had enough of me (windows update failed yesterday and now it’s stuck on a boot loop, great) so now i’m pc-less until the computer guy can fix it on saturday 😭 i work weekends so this honestly sucks so much i just wanna drawwwww

This is very self indulgent and I wasn't even expecting to finish it in time for boniji day. Maybe I just love the pairing so much I wanna make something for it also cuz I still haven't drawn anything about them lately cuz depression go brrrrr

This is initially from Nijika's POV towards Bocchi but some lyrics strayed from that especially the dog part and the last one. But this could also be from Bocchi's POV visualizing Nijika's feelings about her since the edit did start and end with Bocchi in it so...yeah that's how this edit is interpreted (also I kinda got stuck of not knowing what clips that could fit in some parts so ignore if most of the clips are from episode 8)

Btw at the 「またね」 and 「また明日」 part, I was originally going to put the same lines by both Nijika & Bocchi from the show but it sounds out of place so I scrapped it. Tho if I'm better at editing I could make it work and blend it along with the song without it sounding weird (but I'm not :P)

Another thing is that although the lyrics did say 授業 (class) / 放課後部 (after-school club) / LINE in some parts, I changed it to バイト (part time job or in this case I chose work) / 帰宅部 (go-home club) / LOINE to fit the terms in BTR

Reddit: here's some actual helpful suggestions on where to find settings that can fix your problem. We're more reliable than google search. Except for when we just tell you to buy new hardware instead of trying to fix your problem

i want to have high hopes for the sims 2 rerelease because that game is so prone to corruption and the pink flashing and what not i'm curious how ea manages that, because all that needs to be fixed before even trying to optimize the game for new pcs, but if they pull this off? that'd be pleasant to say the least!
