Weird question, but do your orbs have paws, or cute little nubs that somehow turn hand-like when they wear the gloves? You're never drawn them without gloves, I don't think.

I like to think the older orbs have paws, complete with little retractable claws! (putting on gloves makes them appear more hand-like)

For some more specific headcanons, claws aren't shown very often, and usually come out as more of a last resort defense. In GK's time, they were more commonly used (though GK specifically was trained not to show them as part of keeping up an image). But, in present day, puffballs have evolved to rarely rely on them. Swords are a bit more favorable.

Some have more control over the reflex than others do! Part of it is how they were influenced by their surroundings when growing up.

And at last, some miscellaneous glove facts while we're here:

the fabric of typical gloves is stretchy, with a touch of magic that lets them morph from a mitten shape to individual digits when needed (you might've seen in the anime that MK will occasionally point at something, and his mittens will instead look more like separate-fingered gloves in that moment—probably for the sake of clarity, but I like to think it's just a little pinch of magic)

They're a common accessory in the galaxy, though white gloves are the typical choice for most puffballs

Inexplicably difficult to stain. Give em' a good wash and somehow they always come out looking pristine and as good as new—Granted you didn't shred them in a fight, that is.

To a certain extent, they adjust to whatever's beneath them, so claws won't pierce through, but they'll still be just as sharp.

In honor of the boop-o-meter, which of the HoMies would participate? Do they boop with joy, spite, mischief, or malice? Who boops only the mutuals and who boops everyone they can find?

It's Boop O'clock! 🐾

All of them will participate, admittedly some of them only in retailation after being booped! xD Main boopers will absolutely be Randy, Jenny and Zak!

Randy will be having a blast booping anyone and everyone with his Ninja abilities and Jenny will try a themed transformation, while Zak will employ Fisk to boop with.

Kim, Danny, Jun and Rex, after being booped will retariate in full force.

Kim will be a worthy opponent to Randy in stealthy athletic boops, while Danny will ambush people with invisible or clone boops! Rex is less stealthy, but he would be infected with others' enthusiasm! While Jun will attack with full spite of a middle child being bothered with nonsense.

Jake and Ben will be less enthusiased by various reasons, but they would not let an attack go unanswered!

I'm back again with more designs! This is a smaller batch, given that it's only Edgeworth, Godot, and Blackquill, but these have a biiiit more meat than the last one. Godot is last, because I... Definitely think I have a favorite child.

As usual, all left-handed (I'm right-handed) but the quality jump is much more evident SOBS...

Putting Edgeworth first, since I did him first, even if his art is all OLD and I DON'T LIKE IT VERY MUCH. As I said in my main post's tags, he's a collie/borzoi that, because of how he was raised around cats, doesn't understand tail wags as being a signifier of happiness, and thinks they make him look plainly interested or mad. Sorry bucko! Everyone knows you're happy. He's a fancy man who's smart and goal-oriented, hence the breeds I picked for him.

Jumping back to the present! Things look acceptable now! The Blackquills are Norwegian forest cats! Aura isn't actually here, sadly, as I sincerely was running out of steam, but I'll be doing a post for her and some other girls later, and there'll be more on him there! For now, you just need to take him on his own.

GODOT 🔥

Now, here he is... My pride and joy, my sweetest baby boy, FOXDOT.

Now, why fox, and what's happening here? First of all, he... He's a bit of a foxy man, no? We can all agree? Good. But I wanted something to fit his cleverness, his wit, those teef, AND... Something that changes coats due to weather. As Diego, his fur is a bright orange-red, like coffee fruit, and as Godot, he's now rather cafe au lait than anything else.

As a product of his poisoning, he's now permanently stuck with part of his winter coat (which I imagine he maintains to be shorter) which is fitting, as his world has been winter ever since he was poisoned and Mia killed. Due to the fact he can't differentiate red and white, it also means that to him, it's no different whether his paws are bloodstained or not. Out, damned spot!

... And for staying so long, you get a bonus Mia draft, cause I feel bad for separating them. Chocolate!

My Trucy and Kazuma designs used to be my favorites, but... Foxdot. I'm quite chuffed with his design, and almost cried over Godot's theme TWICE while drawing him. Thank goodness I'm planning my next batch, or I might jump right back into a left arm injury by drawing him again
