Thinking about vampires, death, life, and the space they occupy in between

#to be or not to be. that is the question #ty adam for being my model for dramatic vampire moment #musings on the thinkings about:#when to live you are required to hurt others. you must repeatedly ask yourself what the value of your life is #To sleep... perchance to dream...#ah. I had a lot more while I was drawing this but I guess I put them in the painting LOL #reading that soliloquy and being like damn this is just like vampires #the reality of course is that the soliloquy is a debate over suicide and ultimately making the choice to live #even if just out of fear of the unknown #and vampires are about dying and then in undeath choosing to continue to live #despite the fear of eternity and loneliness and hurting others #theyre not the same. but like let me thiiink come onnnn I'm allowed to thiiink and have incomplete thoughts #I would have to write like a proper essay about this to organize my thoughts. this is the tags on a tumblr post.#anyways finished episode 79 #working on patreon stickers for this month (and next month soon)#and working on book 4. taking a pause from episodes cause I've got 3 weeks of buffer now... UGH #I'm so mad that they changed it. it would have been 5 weeks before but it's fine it's whatever #anyways yeah taking a break from episodes to make my book now!#its good stuff.#and this painting is good stuff #banger after banger from me tbh #this was a little relaxing giving myself a couple hours to muse #it's necessary for my health and I always forget that til I do a painting...#I loved doing the little landscape in the background too I should do that more! Bootblacking is my favourite kink to give Izzy, because of course this guy would get his rocks off doing precise, repetitive, manual labour. OF COURSE he gets off on what is essentially just another chore on his list.

#this is genuine btw #i think it fits his character so wonderfully #taking this time to relax & forget about everything else. to kneel at his lovers feet and fall into a sort of trance doing the same motion #over and over. the satisfaction of a task well done.#i also think he often struggles to calm his brain down- too busy thinking about what still needs doing and what could go wrong-#so he finds it hard to allow himself the time to truly relax. something like bootblacking lets him feel like hes doing something while also #getting to have that moment of peace he so desperately needs #nyxtalks #ofmd #our flag means death #izzy hands #israel hands #nsft #a little. mostly to be safeeeeee #thinking about ed tricking him into it when they were younger- after they got their own ship they stopped having time to be kids #and izzy got so anxious about the whole deal. its not that he pulled away from ed; hes still just as present as ever when ed wants him #but he never sits in the captains cabin in the evening. he never stops. the second theres a moment of pause hes onto the next task #and eds boots do need dealing with. so ed frames it as something he needs izzy to do for him. sit there while ed works out their next move #the cabins only small so izzy takes the floor while ed works at the desk- better to keep the mess away from the maps anyway #and ed chatters as he thinks about where theyre going; just mindless noise that izzy doesnt need to really listen to.#and the brush is moving in his hands and its calm and. his brain goes quiet for the first time in months #(ed notices this obviously)#(hes gonna start making izzy do this every couple months)#(this is the real reason he wears so much leather- gotta get a rota going!)

hi guys i was in an accident and had to be in the hospital for a while but im home now

#stressful bday month but we r back hello #had to get some meds out of my system but im alright now #my surgeries went well and physically my injuries r like a bad bike accident but ye nothing bad my face is fine now too mostly #got bumped to the side and broke my face and arm #something w my hip but it healed itself didnt break or smn #school on pause dont have to go so ill have time to relax anyway #reblogged some stuff in the hospital too which is funny bc i don’t remember when or that i did it after the accident but i remember #actually doing it #hopefully i can put this whole experience behind me now #i have some therapy recommended but thats understandable #it was worse than what im describing rn but i dont remember anyway it was just rough as a whole #my memories sorrounding it r vague and little but thats normal #acute stress phase but i think we avoided it becoming ptsd #i survived and thats what matters #shout out to the doctors that saved me #mostly from drowning in blood

someone I just met told me I was cool today and I swear I wandered around shaking with my eyes huge for almost an hour afterwards

#she had stars in her eyes!!! what did i do??? 😭😭😭#she pauses looks directly at me with a huge smile and says 'you're so cool you know that?'#djhbfsjdhbf??? all i did was explain my work to you!!! i do it every day i should hope i know things!!!#anyways i said 'thank you' like a genuine cool person. and then i excused myself as quickly as possible so i could leave the room #and not be visible. by people. while i combusted on the spot.#please help someone compliments me and i go into a mini panic state for at least twenty minutes afterwards #storyrambles #i should comment that i am usually pretty good at appearing relaxed and chill about things. this does not usually show on my face #i look very composed and put-together apparently. crazy because i am. very much not that.

All these posts about Ganondorf in totk but not one agreeing with me that the best possible thing would actually be if this is the Ganondorf from fsa and not oot, because it'd be the funniest way to remind people that there was actually more than one and also then he would be truly unprepared for this Link and Zelda combo

#please. i want him to squint at Link the first time he sees him and pause like he's waiting for three other links to show up too #then when it doesn't happen he relaxes #only for Zelda and new? Zelda to show up behind him #plus we know fsa Ganondorf was gerudo initially but we don't ever get to actually see him and this be a neat way to do it #also if everyone is pissed about the master sword being damaged and Ganondorf is just like 'look man idk anything about it I've never seen #that's sword before you had a different one last time' that would also be funny.#and like look. that Ganondorf got to show up in three games! the fsa one only got kinda one! let him have two ish
